The Peculiar Significance of the Divine Arrangement

The  Peculiar  Significance  of  the  Divine  Arrangement

Uranda   March 29 1947

The other evening, in one of our Services, I brought out the point that people have very often undertaken to judge me on the basis of comparing me, and my function, with that of the LORD of Love when He was on earth as Jesus the Christ. He came into the earth to reveal Deity, and to bring a focalization of Divine Love into the earth, that whosoever will may respond thereto. I pointed out that my function was to inspire Love Response to the LORD of Love and that only those who let themselves be so inspired can really share in the expression of Love on earth from the LORD of Love. Those who, by reason of their failure to Respond rightly to the LORD of Love, separate themselves from a position of truly sharing His Love, thereby separate, insofar as they are personally concerned, Love and Truth.

Truth, to the degree that it is received in Love Response to the LORD of Love, is something that is a joy; it brings peace; it sets individuals free so that they can truly live life; but when Truth is separated from Love, insofar as individual consciousness is concerned, then Truth is seen in its hardness, shall we say. Truth, separated from Love in the consciousness of the individual, appears to be something cold, and perhaps harsh. The unyielding, undeviating nature of Truth is something that is sometimes difficult for individuals to comprehend. They have been setting up their concepts on a basis of a human concept of Love because they imagine Love—and therefore they imagine Jesus Christ—to be so yielding and amiable and so tolerant, that no manifestation of the Rock therein is recognized, and consequently in such a human consciousness anything that is of the Rock is judged to be foreign to Love. In all of this we find the reason for the failures back along the line of history, when man has sought to so function as to align himself—or, perhaps, in some instances, to let himself be aligned—with God.

We speak of the Triune Ray as being Light, Love and Life. When we recognize the Triune Ray in relationship to the Creative Currents of Being, we find that Light is that which manifests through Truth, and if there is no Truth there is darkness, regardless of the individual consciousness concerning Love. Therefore, it is seen, with respect to the Four Creative Forces, that the first is Water and is associated with Light. When the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters God said, as the first Creative Act, “Let there be Light”. Next in the Triune Ray is Love, which is symbolized by Fire, which is the fourth of the Four Forces. So between these two we have the manifestation of the other two Forces, and they are thereby understood to be included. When there is Truth, through which Love operates, the result, insofar as this outer world is concerned, is the expression of Life; therefore, the Triune Ray, which recognizes Love to be the Center, also reveals the relationship of Truth to Life, but Love, even if it be Divine Love, does not produce Life, without Truth.

When these things are clearly seen in the Triangle, the individual must come to recognize that if his own consciousness—and consequently his own life experience and environment—are to be changed and recreated, the Spirit must move first upon the face of the waters before there can be Light, and the Light must manifest before there can be a consciousness of the Fire, for though the Fire may be to some degree present, and may to some degree be felt, it is not effective in relationship to the manifestation of the true Life expression until the Light is seen, and the Light cannot appear except through Truth. Therefore, in the range of human experience, the initial approach to the outworking of Reality in the individual life must be in the mental plane, through the mind, with respect to the Truth, by reason of which the individual begins to see the Light and consequently permits himself, to that degree, to be illumined, whereupon his consciousness of, and polarity in, the Fire of Divine Love, permits the Four Forces to begin to operate in recreative function which begins to shape and mould and bring forth the true expression of Life.

The peculiar significance of the Divine arrangement with respect to the manifestation of life on earth cannot be clearly comprehended until there is an understanding of the three planes of the Negative Triune World in relationship to the three phases of the trinity of the human manifestation, whereby the individual may, if he will but let it be so, Respond to the Positive Source of Life which is the LORD of Love, and become thereby a manifestation of Divine Life on earth, thus revealing Deity on earth.

Consider the fact that the Lord of the Sacred Three is likewise the Lord of Truth and that the Lord of the Sacred Two is the focalization on earth of the Spirit of Life, representing the Lord of the Sacred Five, and so may be rightly recognized as the Lord of Life on earth. The correlation of the Lord of the Sacred Two with the second or mental plane of Being is seen to be peculiarly significant with respect to the Divinely ordained means by which man may share in Life Eternal and express Life in Reality here on earth. The Lord of the Sacred Three, representing the LORD of the Sacred Seven, provides the focalization of the Spirit of Truth on earth and thereby establishes the Divinely ordained pattern in relationship to the Spiritual Expression phase of man, or the third plane of Being in the Negative Triune World. However, until that Truth is seen and recognized by the mind, the Light of the Spiritual Expression has no meaning with respect to the individual, and until it has meaning it cannot produce the essential life in the manifestation of the individual on earth.

Therefore, this Divine arrangement is seen at once as a means whereby a Creative Field is established on earth wherein the individual who is attuned in Love Response to the LORD of Love may let his mind be so opened that he may begin to know and see the Truth, through which the Light of Illumination is caused to fill the temple, which is the body of the Responding One, whereupon, to the degree essential to the fulfillment of the individual life, an awareness of Truth, as it is in Reality, begins to be made manifest in consciousness, but that Truth is seen to be based in the Spiritual Expression plane of Being and not in the physical and mental realms, for it is only after Truth in its Spiritual Essence is perceived by the mind, so that comprehension is on the basis of the Spirit that giveth Life, that the individual can begin to truly share in the true expression of Life on earth.

In all of this we begin to see the vast scope of meaning that is contained in the Master's words, "I AM the Way, the Truth, and the Life", for the Way is the Way of Love Response to the LORD of Love, but that Love must be allowed to manifest through the individual according to the Pattern of Truth before he can begin to share in the Christ Life, and so be a member of the One Body through which the LORD of Lords may cause the Greater Works to be accomplished, and we recognize that only in the accomplishment of the Greater Works can that Life which is called salvation be effectively carried to the children of men, so that evil may be eliminated from the face of the earth and the Christ Kingdom may be made fully manifest for all the children of men who will let themselves be drawn under the Banner of the Prince of Peace.

In all of these things we have that which is of vital importance to each and every individual who would Respond to God and let himself become an instrument in the Hand of God, whereby the Will of the Father is done on earth—and all of this we recognize in Love Response to the LORD of Love, for His is the Kingdom and the Power and the Glory forever. Aum-en.
