Meeting My King

from

Meeting  My  King

Uranda   August 14, 1953  Class

In this hour, if you will, I should like very much to give you an opportunity to have a deeper knowing, a clearer vision, of my King. I have presented you before Him, and according to your response He has received you; and now I would let you know something more about Him.

I have served our King for many, many thousands of years and more. I have served with Him, in the particular capacity which I have at the present moment in His court, since long before the beginning of the creation of this earth. He was gracious enough, and kind enough, to grant me the privilege of serving in a responsible position in His court, long, long ago. There is no need for the mind to speculate as to what the pattern was before that. You could not comprehend it, in any case. But some of you have sometimes wondered, perhaps marveled a little, at my personal attitude in relationship to my King. Every sort of human pressure in circumstance and in loss has been brought to bear to make me, or try to make me, violate my agreement with Him. When I talk to you about creation I may be using Biblical texts to help you to understand, but I was there. I remember it and know it as you remember the things of yesterday. And I came into the world at this time to offer assistance to any man or any woman, anywhere, of any race or color or creed, who might be inspired to want to know and serve my King.

Yes, to know Him is to love Him, and to love Him is to begin to know Him. But the human mind tends to run into certain patterns of limitation in consciousness, in concept, idea. If you try to picture Him as you would a man, the vision will fall short, and yet we saw Him on earth a little while ago as a man, and in our hours of togetherness we have meditated often and much upon the words He spoke, upon the life He lived, the things He did. We can see Him to some degree as He was made manifest in the form of a man, and the life He lived engendered a very great love response in the world, and even though it be on a distorted pattern, the influence of His presence on earth is extended into all countries, all places. And to some degree there is love for Him, but all too often it is love that is easily forgotten under the pressure of the circumstance of some moment in life, something that for the moment is crowded out of consciousness, and the individual may in such a circumstance speak or act without regard to that love, without regard for the King. But as we learn to truly love Him we find that there is nothing that can make us forget. No pressure of circumstance, no pain, no sorrow, no loss that can come to man on earth, can make us forget, not even for a moment.

There is one thing to remember: One cannot live and move and have his being on the basis of a citizen of a kingdom unless one is keenly conscious of the king. If you are a citizen of a kingdom and you are not conscious of the king of the kingdom, having love, loyalty—not just admiration, not just respect, but deep devotion—you cannot possibly function in relationship to a kingdom; for there is no kingdom without a king. And the meaningfulness of a kingdom depends upon the king, and if there be no awareness of the king there is no awareness of the kingdom. Our concern in this hour is that there should be, now and forevermore, an awareness of the King of the kingdom.

It is not that I would attempt to describe Him to you. I could describe perhaps, in limited words, the manner of His appearance when He walked among men nearly two thousand years ago. Some of the pictures give some little idea, but none of them are true. They are the imaginations of human beings. But He carried not a pompousness but a simple dignity which portrayed, for those eyes which could see, a true greatness. He never acted, even when man was rejecting Him, as if He was less than Himself. He had no need to try to exaggerate the appearance of Himself, but He never depreciated it: His bearing—not as of a king according to the concepts of men, but always the King as revealed from the standpoint of heavenly thingsa ruggedness, a gentleness; unassuming but powerful. I have seen strong men wilt before a single glance of His eye, and I have seen those who seemed to be weak thrill and be uplifted by a look. I have seen patterns of attunement established in a few seconds, in an instant it might seem, whereby one word in form meant more than could ever be spoken in words—by reason of the spirit of the word, by what was conveyed in just a word or two.

So often human beings are inclined to try to analyze the words He spoke according to the record on the basis of simply thinking of them as words that any man might have spoken, just as one might read a story; but it does not work. The words have meaning as one finds attunement with His spirit, and then one begins to have a feeling as if the words were almost unnecessary; just a gentle, gracious touch to make it easier for finite human minds to grasp.

He was not concerned about trying to be a king of some little earthly kingdomHe was KING of Kings and His kingdom included all the kingdoms of this world. Sometimes human ideas have pictured somehow that He had a whole host of angels and faithful saints and one thing and another trailing around behind Him in heaven, and everywhere He went in heaven He would be followed by this vast host of angels and saints, all shouting continually some sort of praise or the idea of glory. I can think of nothing that would tend to turn heaven into hell for Him more quickly than that. It is developed out of a misunderstanding, a misinterpretation of something, it is true.

Follow Him, follow His lead, follow out the vibrational pattern; but not a physical following, to be crowding around Him every minute, as if He just could not be left by Himself. Well probably He is not too much by Himself, but following Him in that heavenly sense does not mean just tagging along like a puppy dog, just to be physically there. It means functioning in their place in the pattern of the kingdom, so that if the cycle be initiated through Him, if something is opening up, then they are with Him, they follow His lead whithersoever He goeth; which is to say, in the cycles of the unfolding of time, in the determination of the patterns of creation in the processes of living. The coordination, the harmony, is being pictured, not of a vast group of saints or angels hovering about and trying to crowd in close. No, no crowding; no need of it; no pushing, no shovingto follow Him as the King because He is the King.

And how did He become the King? Oh I could tell you something about it, but not too much of it can be put into human words. But I will tell you this. He became the King for two reasons. We all wanted Him to be the King, and His King, His point of focalization in Deity on beyond, selected Him—not just arbitrarily, but He selected Him; for He in turn has a King, you know. In any case, from above and from below He was selected. Why? Because we all loved Him. Because it was His right and His place. From that standpoint we might say that it is completely autocratic—completely autocratic. He is there, and from the standpoint of those who know Him there is never any question about wishing someone else could be King for a while. Why? Because He fits; because it is a perfect place for Him.

The vastness of His love, the wonder of His patience, all of the things that enter into it—I cannot begin to describe them all. But He is a KING of Kings. Those who serve with Him never wonder, "Now do you suppose that He'll back me up, that He'll help me see this through, meet this situation?" There is stability. We never think, "Perhaps the King will have some vagrant fancy this morning and turn things upside down." No, we can depend upon Him, and He acts as if He can depend upon them. It is a good feeling. If we can depend upon Him, then He should be able to depend upon us; and if we are ever to know how true it is that we can depend upon Him we must reach a point where He can depend upon us, and make it stick. We never wonder if He will have power enough to do what needs to be done, if He will be patient enough, or if He will love enough. Those who serve with Him and are aware of Him know that He has the power; there is no question but what it is His kingdom. They know the power is there. They do not go forth from His court wondering, "Now do you suppose it can be done?"

If He gives a commission, as He has given one to me, for instance, it never occurs to me to waste any time wondering, "Do you suppose it can be done?" If the King said to do it, well then we just do it. That is all. And no ifs, maybes about it. We just do it. How? Well then, that is our business; it is my business. Do you think He tells me every turn to make? No, if He gives a commission it is given, and then, in this instance, it is my business—it is my business, a commission, a job to do. We would not have a commission unless it could be done. His commands are simple, His expectations just. Disobey? What would that be, to disappoint Him? Well, for myself, I would rather cease to be for the rest of eternity than to disappoint Him. No. If we know Him there isn't anything that we would rather do than what He wants us to.

Once we begin to be citizens of the kingdom, servants of the King, there is just one thing. We have found that the greatest pleasure that we can know, the deepest satisfaction, the highest ecstasy, the greatest fulfilment, comes as we serve with Him—not against Him. And if you think He doesn't give us plenty of chance to exercise all of our capacities and to prove ourselves as individuals you are very wrong. No, He doesn't try to think for us, He doesn't try to act for us. He gives us a chance to be and to do, if we are ready—if we are ready.

When there was war in heaven and man's consciousness was cast out of heaven here on earth, I had something to do with it. And my King did not have to fight, He did not have to raise a hand, He did not have to brandish a sword. He did not even have to say, "Get out of here," to the dragon and his angels. It was all done for Him, absolutely. He did not have to turn a hand over. He doesn't have to fight, He doesn't have to contend. And in fact He does not—He is that kind of a king.

You can let yourself be changed and begin to enjoy His kingdom. And it is a wonderful place and He is a wonderful king. I cannot tell you what a wonderful king He is. If you stop fighting with Him and begin to work with Him, after enough time in the cycles of eternity has gone by, you will begin to know. And I thank God for the privilege of serving Him by serving you who turn toward Him.

So let us serve together. As we truly serve together here on earth, serving our Lord and King no matter what the limitations, no matter what seems to be against us, we know that it will be done. We can afford to wait. Of course we have plenty to do, but it doesn't have to be just so today. We can wait. You cannot rush heaven and you cannot rush my King. It will not work. But there are plenty of things waiting to be received by you, and by all who will become worthy, dependable, loyal citizens of His kingdom.

Seeing the Father

In  His  Presence

from  Shekinah Magic — Seeing The Father

Uranda   June 21, 1953  Class

“And whither I go ye know.” Could one walk with the LORD along the Way for even a few moments without being assured that He was moving forward to the goal of victory over all the limitations and the evils of the world?that there was power enough, wisdom enough, understanding enough, everything enough to establish that victory. And then He said, “And the way ye know.” The way to what? The way to victory. “Whither I go ye know.” If you know me, you know!He said. And if you, in any time, have walked in the way with the Master for as much as ten minutes, you know the Way too. You know the goal.

You cannot, by reason of His Spirit, or by any means whatsoever, be in His Presence for ten minutes and not know the goal—the goal of victory, and the way to victory. And if you say you do not, you are either declaring that you have never been in His Presence, in any moment of time, by reason of His Spirit or otherwise, or you’re a liar—one of the two!

And if we have by any means whatsoever been in His Presence, insofar as our consciousness is concerned—Oh, our bodies have been in His Presence! There isn’t any doubt about it! Where two or three of you are gathered in my name, there am I in the midst of you. Physically we have been in His Presence, whether our minds know it or not. It’s not a question of whether we have been in His Presence, it is a question of whether we are aware that we have been in His Presence!—and if we are aware of it, then there is no excuse for us. We know whither He was going, and we know the Way—and we should follow Him.

"And whither I go ye know" And who spoke this word? Just the physical form of Jesus? Oh yes, the physical form spoke the word, yes! But did it start with the physical form? No, it was the word of the Father. "Whither I go ye know." Did you ever stop to see that? Whither I, the Father go, ye know; and the Way, I the Father go, ye know. "The words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself." It was the word of the Father, through the lips of Jesus. "Whither I go, ye know."

There  Is  That  Which  You  Do  Know

from  Nature and Work of Shekinah

Uranda   June 19, 1953  Class

In this hour of meditation, I would draw you together in the spiritual pattern of Being, that you may realize more deeply the reality of Shekinah. There are many things which enter into this pattern which you cannot yet know or adequately realize, but there is that which you do know. And remember to always function on the basis of what you know. Never try to act on the basis of what you do not know and you will avoid much confusion. The human being is inclined to say, “There is much that I do not know. I do not know this or that,” and he begins to function on the basis of what he does not know, and then he gets in trouble.

Let us remember, there is that which you do know. If it is not so, there is something wrong, either with your perception and realization or my presentation. There is that which you do know. Never violate what you know, never deny it; and function on the basis of what you know, and then all is well. Why be concerned about what you do not know? That will appear in season. But let me give you a little warning.

Do not expect to know all there is to know in any specific period of time. If in all eternity you were to exhaust and encompass and contain the uttermost limits of all there is to know, that would be the point wherein heaven would become hell. You will never do it. You may know many basic fundamentals, but do not assume that you know or should know all that there is to know. So there is that which you do know, and knowing that which is true, even if it be but one point, you have a beginning, the place of beginning.

The experience of realization—illumination—which causes you to know any point of truth, any aspect of truth, is in actual fact the working of the Shekinah in you. You need to begin to realize that the patterns of Shekinah are without end, numberless, ever-changing. “All things were made by Shekinah,” all the things of God; “and without Shekinah was not any thing made that was made.” Realizing this, you can begin to see that there is a specific Shekinah pattern of Being which comes to focus and function in relationship to everything that we do in the pattern of the divine design, in the current of the kingdom control. We do not imagine that there is only one manifestation of Shekinah. The manifestations are numberless. And we must, if we would truly serve our King, we must allow the Shekinah pattern to take form in relationship to all that we do, everything, without any exception.

When there is that which needs to be done we do not properly just plunge into action on the basis of developing the physical form. With respect to anything that is to take form under the action of our hands, or by reason of our living, it should first be allowed to take form in Shekinah. “In the beginning Shekinah created the heaven and the earth.” In the beginning Shekinah created. Every creative expression must be the expression of Shekinah. There is no other. Any action, any word, any expression, that is not of Shekinah is not creative but destructive, without a single exception, ever, at any time, in relationship to any person. All things of God, of the divine design, of the garden of God, in heaven or on earth, “all things were made by Shekinah; and without Shekinah was not any thing made that was made.” The things that were made, the things that were created, in any time past, were the result of the working of Shekinah.

The Ministry Of Reminder

What  is  Happening  Now? — That  is  the  Question!

The Ministry of Reminder

Martin Cecil   September 16, 1979

Today is the anniversary of the inception of this ministry, and I call it to your remembrance. On this date in 1932 there emerged into the consciousness of one man an awareness of the particular spiritual task for which it was necessary that he assume responsibility. Subsequently there have been others who have shared in this awareness also, in whatever degree, but at that time it came to point in this one man whom we know as Uranda. Here was something quite stupendous insofar as he was concerned. As you may know, he had been looking for spiritual leadership somewhere to which he might turn, and he could not find it, until the moment came when he saw that the essential spiritual leadership was his own responsibility.

This is something that is necessary for each of us—now: to come to the point of that awareness, no longer looking for spiritual leadership somewhere else but accepting our immediate responsibility. We have no doubt all looked for such leadership and we may have imagined that we found it, but what we found was simply a reminder of what our responsibility is as individuals. If we found anything it was simply a calling to remembrance of what we already knew. If it isn’t that it isn’t anything. Insofar as Uranda was concerned it was a calling to remembrance in his experience. Something that was already present, already existent, began to emerge through his consciousness and he acknowledged the fact of it. He undertook to provide spiritual leadership in this matter of calling to remembrance.

This was the task of the spirit of truth: calling all things to remembrance, things that already exist for us as individuals and for us all together, something which had been long forgotten to emerge into consciousness in this world. To whatever extent, this has been experienced by you and others, but for the most part heretofore it has tended to be a matter of belief rather than knowing. You may have had the experience of thinking that you had known something and a little later on there was a bursting forth in your own consciousness and you realized that you hadn’t known it at all. What makes you think that what you now see you really know? It could happen again, couldn’t it, this bursting forth? It needs to. I suppose it could be said that there are various levels of belief, but it isn’t until we come to the point of knowing that anything really has happened yet.

You know from your experience in association with this ministry that I have never made any promises to anyone and I have never required any promises from anyone. I have never said to you, “If you believe this, thus and so will happen.” My sole concern down through the years has been this matter of calling to remembrance something that you already know but had forgotten. It may be recalled through words which are spoken as there is a discernment of the Word that is back of the words that are spoken. Then there is something familiar, something that a person seems to know and yet he doesn’t really know what it is.

To assist people to remain related to what it is that is being recalled—which isn’t yet known—some forms have been provided, so that there was something available to make you feel a little more comfortable for the moment. Unfortunately as those forms were offered they tended to obscure the feeling. The form was glommed onto: “This is going to make me more comfortable. I will now understand, I can now explain it to myself and to others, so that there will be those who will agree with what I now understand.”

So these forms have tended to become the thing over the years—concepts, ideas, sometimes we call it the truth, but it was a mental form, something that we could grasp. We’ve all had this sort of experience, happy to grasp hold of something so that we might for the moment feel safer. But that is a false security in the end. We must let go of the hand, or the concept, the idea, the form, whatever it is, if we are to come to the experience of knowing, if we are to allow what is present with us in reality to come forth so that we know it.

There is something being called to remembrance which had been forgotten, and it is, for many of you, beginning to nudge you so that you are aware that there is something there, something that needs to be brought forth. Somewhere along the way a person needs to awaken to the fact that he doesn’t need to look external to himself. The reality is present with everyone as long as life remains. Life itself is an evidence of that reality, and only as that reality begins to emerge into expression is there the remembrance of it. It only is remembered when it does actually emerge; then there it is! No question, no argument; nothing else is required but that particular expression in that particular moment. And when it’s there you know it and it isn’t a belief.

When Uranda initiated this ministry in form on earth he certainly had a knowing in this regard, but he was well aware that this knowing could not be transferred to anybody else. All that can be done is to call to remembrance, somehow, to assist people to become aware of the fact that the truth is present already with them and needs to be expressed. That’s the only way it could ever be known. So there’s no need to shop around. There’s no need to follow out all the peculiar ideas and concepts and beliefs that people have, because this is merely piling form upon form and producing greater and greater obscurity, less and less understanding. Knowing is life.

One of the first indications that was offered in this business of recalling, bringing to remembrance, was: Let go! Stop imagining that you know anything. You can admit that you have many beliefs if you like, but we need to reach a point where we are willing to acknowledge that we know nothing. The knowing that is required is of the truth, and the truth is only known in expression. Only when we express it do we know it.

So here is the reason for the existence of what we call this ministry, to call something to remembrance so that those who are stirred a little bit and begin to hear something may be assisted into a larger remembering, a larger expression of life, in other words, because the true evidence of this remembrance comes when there’s the true evidence of life, the quality, the reality of what life is in expression, physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually, a total whole expression of life. Then the person begins to know.

As long as you are shopping around in the supermarkets of the world—and there are plenty of them—looking for enlightenment, you go down the drain, because the enlightenment is not there. It cannot be found there. The only enlightenment that anyone can find is in the expression of the truth in his own living. For this, then, there needs to be the provision of a ministry of reminder, we might say. It seems to me that would be the ministry of the spirit of truth, wouldn’t it, calling all things to remembrance. What is being called to remembrance is present with each person and it cannot be conveyed by one to another. The release of it may be triggered so that it is brought forth by a person; then he knows it. There is a vast difference between knowing and believing. The truth is found in the experience of knowing.

Uranda’s task was stupendous. He knew but nobody else did. And how on earth was he going to achieve what was necessary? Obviously if anything was to ever happen in the experience of human beings on earth it would only do so when the provision was made by which remembrance could be stimulated—this is the only thing that is required—only one thing—to wake up; to be reminded of the truth so that one may let it find expression for oneself. Then you take responsibility for spiritual leadership that will remind somebody else; not because you pile ideas and concepts and more beliefs, on everybody else. Who needs more beliefs? We have appalling indigestion now! But how much knowing is there? Very, very little.

So the only basis for hope insofar as this human race is concerned would be as there is a facility, a means somehow, by which the spirit of truth could call to remembrance something that was already known. The treasure is always somewhere else, from the standpoint of the human view of things, but the fact of the matter is that it is right where one is. One doesn’t need to go anywhere. You have it! Each individual has it when responsibility is taken for expressing it; no more wandering in the wilderness.

The truth is here. It’s present in this room. It’s present by reason of each person who’s sitting in this room. I call it to your remembrance that this is the fact of the matter. But beliefs seem to have quite an attraction, don’t they? They keep people wandering around, following after this, going after that, expecting to find some remarkable revelation over there, and all the rest. There’s always something just over the horizon. Never! It isn’t there. It’s useless to look there if it isn’t there. Stop looking and accept the responsibility, as Uranda did for himself for what should find expression through himself. If he knew, that’s the reason he knew. He could not convey that knowing to another. If I know, I cannot convey that knowing to anyone here present. Each individual can know for himself, but it requires a real quality of living to do it, something that most people are not willing to offer.

There are some amongst the population of the world—a few—who have a basic integrity, a basic sense of honor, and who are unwilling to violate that integrity. These people have been referred to as a “remnant.” In every generation all down through the ages there has always been that remnant. Thus far it hasn’t done the world much good, has it? These people are there, living according to their highest, in a consciousness of a certain basic honor, and yet it hasn’t changed the world.

There are those who are always looking to the remnant to do something. They won’t. They can’t. It isn’t until there is brought into the world what has been lacking in the world that anything can change. As long as we are continuing simply to try to adjust the furniture in the world, to make a nicer arrangement, things will continue as they always have since the fathers fell asleep. But when this begins to be brought into the world because there are those who are caused to remember in the expression of their own living, then there is a focus in the world composed of those who might be said to be enlightened. They are not trying to live according to their highest vision. They are not trying to do anything. They are simply expressing the truth in their living, and that is a totally different thing to what anyone has known on earth in the world the way it has been.

There was One who knew that, in the person of Jesus. He brought that into the world. He was capable of calling to remembrance all that needed to be remembered, but obviously no one was willing to let it happen. Not even those who were closest to Him were willing to let it happen. They still had their views, their concepts, their ideas, their beliefs. “Wilt thou now restore the kingdom to Israel?” Perhaps we think of that as being a very inane remark, because it had nothing whatsoever to do with the reason for the Master’s presence on earth, and yet exactly the same attitude is taken in these days. Supposedly, we are here to clean up the mess. But how? So One came in the person of Jesus and showed the way: This is the way—calling to remembrance. And He was rejected.

What is happening now? That is the question. What is to be brought forth now? All that Jesus did was to remind us of what should be being brought forth now. He did it. Scarcely anyone was interested, let alone willing, to let it happen with respect to themselves. So He was left alone. Alone. I don’t know how many millions of people there were on earth at that time, but He was left alone. That’s the fact of the matter. “Oh well,” you might say, “they didn’t have TV and radio then. They couldn’t tell everybody about it.” Do you think telling everybody about it would have made any difference? None at all.

There are those who feel that we should really be broadcasting on TV like what’s-his-name?—some real rallies. Why? Who’s going to pay any attention anyhow? No. The remnant may hear, but the remnant hear when the truth is expressed in living by those who have the responsibility to do it, and they don’t have to hear it on TV. They will hear it anyway. As the Master put it, “My sheep hear my voice,” not because they are in physical earshot necessarily; but they come home. They come home in remarkable ways. Maybe you have some stories to tell. Very often a person has, seemingly, to go to the other end of the earth to discover that the reminder is present in his own hometown. That’s been done over and over again.

Unless there is this reminder on earth there is nothing for the children of men. This is our responsibility, when we know it: to provide that reminder. The spirit of truth in expression through more than one person, that’s what was needed back at the time that the Master Himself was on earth. But He was left alone. What He came to do couldn’t be done then. He provided a substitute—it opened a door then. The door has been open ever since but nobody ever went through it. I don’t know what the use of a door is unless you go through it; it might as well be a solid wall. And that’s pretty much what it has been—a solid wall to human beings. And they continue to worship their idols on the wrong side of the wall. But the door is there; the reminder is still present. It is offered; it is being offered in an expanded way in these days. Some of you play your part in this. Remember that it is a reminder and not the imposition of beliefs on anyone.

As I speak, I bring to focus this matter of letting the spirit of truth bring all things to remembrance insofar as those on earth who are willing to remember are concerned. We can’t make people remember but we can provide the impact of the spirit, the expression of the Word of life, which brings remembrance to those in whom the layer of belief is thinnest. There are some who are under a real blanket of belief. There are those whose shell is thinner and they begin to hear something. And we are present on earth that there may be something to be heard, the Word in expression, the reality of life revealed, not just for people to see—but because of that revelation there is a creative sound, present in the consciousness of human beings, within the scope of that consciousness; and those whose layer of belief is not too thick hear something.
When they hear it, of course, they try to fit what they hear into the concepts they already have. It doesn’t work too well. Some people are successful in doing this and they follow along for a while. Then they suddenly become aware of the fact that that sound is no longer fitting into their concepts. Well there’s the point of choice, isn’t it?—whether you wish to move with the Word or whether you prefer your concepts, your beliefs; and there’s a parting of the ways for many on this basis. Let them go!

Only those who are genuine, only those who worship God wholly, are worth a snap of the fingers insofar as what is required on earth is concerned. When the sole concern is to allow the sounding of this tone in one’s living one will see the foolishness of all the stuff with which human beings become involved, the waste of time that it is; and I suspect there are those nowadays even awakening to the fact that there isn’t much time. That’s the fact; there isn’t much time. We have no time at all ourselves to fiddle around in the field of beliefs, while failing to permit the expression of the truth.

The truth in our living—here is what is required of us on earth, that there may be one who comes in the name of the Lord. Unless one does come in the name of the Lord in fact—not in fancy but in fact—nothing is provided so that anyone could say, “Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.” There is One to occupy the position that was occupied by Jesus as an individual on earth, to be occupied now by a collective expression of life through those who accept the responsibility of true spiritual leadership for themselves. This is the only way it can be done. Then there is on earth what is required to speak the Word which brings the remembrance to those who are willing to remember. And then shall the end come; the gospel preached in all the world, and then shall the end come. But this is the gospel. Someone must be there to preach it; there has never been anyone on earth to preach it since the Master Himself was here. If there had we wouldn’t be in this fix now. But we are here, and others are here with us, to accept that spiritual responsibility and to let be done what must be done to the glory of God. It’s always to the glory of God and not to sustain the arrogant conceit of human beings.

So, how blessed we are to begin to have the opportunity of knowing more fully the truth that is our individual responsibility to express in living. As we do that we find we are associated with those who are doing likewise, and there is a formation, a living organism on earth, a living body, by reason of which the tone is sounded in the world loud and clear for those who are willing to hear it. In actual fact everybody hears it when it is sounded loud and clear. But not everyone likes to hear it, and there are those who react quite violently with respect to it. Woe unto them.
