Once more we have the privilege of an hour of meditation, the 25th of June in 1953. We have the privilege of an hour of devotion in our Chapel on Sunrise Ranch. I would like to carry forward the basic theme of our GPC Servers Training Classes on Heavenly Magic, or the Magic of Living, to the end that there may be a sharing on the part of all of you in that which has been and is being received through our Class considerations, and at the same time to take another step forward toward a deeper understanding and unification in the pattern of our living. I would like to read the words that we were using this morning in our Class work [greatcosmicstory.blogspot.com/shekinah-magic-8-distinctions-in.html] as our opening devotional meditation:
“And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also. At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you. He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him. Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world?”
That question shows a complete lack of comprehension of what the Master was saying.
“Jesus answered and said unto him, if a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me. These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you. But the Comforter, which is the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.”
Let us see tonight if we cannot follow our LORD, if we cannot follow the realizations of His words, follow His meaning, follow His inspiration, that we may be followers of our LORD and not followers of Judas; for Judas revealed a complete lack of comprehension.
We have recognized in our previous meditations the reality of Shekinah, and perhaps it would be well tonight to go back a little to refresh our Unit consciousness with respect to certain basic factors. The word Shekinah, which is the accepted pronunciation at the present time from the standpoint of the scholars, is derived from the word Shekanah in the original Hebrew, and the meaning of the word is “the Presence of the One Who Dwells”—the Presence of the One Who Dwells. However we use the word, or the pronunciation, Sheekinah because of correlating factors in relationship to the Motherland Tongue, from which the original Hebrew word was derived. This word came into usage, particular meaning to the children of Israel, after the Ark of the Covenant had been built at the time of the building of the Tabernacle, and the Ark of the Covenant was placed in the Holy of Holies in the Tabernacle. And you will recall that the Ark of the Covenant was a chest or box in which were preserved the tablets of stone upon which the finger of God had written the commandments in letters of fire—a measure of manna, the bread of life; and Aaron's Rod which budded. Now these three factors or things that were so preserved were symbolical of the working of the trinity of the Spirit of God in relationship to the trinity of man.
The heart is spoken of as a stony thing when it fails to respond and yield to the Divine Design, and the finger of God wrote upon the stone in letters of fire. So must it be with the heart of the individual. But how is the human being to become aware of the Fire by which the commandments of God may be written upon his heart in letters of fire? That is the question that is posed in relationship to that which is contained, or was contained, is contained now, in the Ark of the Covenant, for the Ark of the Covenant symbolizes you, individually and collectively. And then, Aaron's Rod which budded. The Rod is the symbol of Truth, and through the working of Truth the manifestation of Life, the budding of the Rod, the living expression of Truth symbolizing the working of the reality of being in you, individually and as a group. Likewise, the measure of manna, the bread of life, symbolizing the reality of Life in relationship to the physical organism in the human being in the pattern of life, but symbolizing more as we shall see in a moment.
On the lid or top of this chest there was formed what was called the mercy seat, and he would be a true Ark of the Covenant must allow the mercy seat to be formed in him above, that is, in relationship to his consciousness, in relationship to his attitudes, his function in life. And above the mercy seat, the two cherubims, one at each end of the Ark of the Covenant. And, in relationship to God, there was a sign or evidence of the Presence of the Lord made manifest. How often we read the Word that the Glory of the Lord filled the Temple or the Tabernacle and shone round about. Often the Glory of the Lord was so made evident through this Cloud of Glory that the people were caused to fall upon their faces, and even be fearful for their lives if they had been disobedient. So the first thing that was evident was the Cloud of Glory filling the Tabernacle; but within the Cloud there was the Light that Glows; and within the Light that Glows there was the Fire, the ball of Fire that rested between the cherubims above the mercy seat over the Ark of the Covenant.
Now it is interesting to note that the solar system is an outer physical revelation of the reality of the Shekinah Pattern: the Fire of the Sun; the Light that Glows around the Sun and extends to the earth, making it possible for us to have light and warmth; and the Cloud of Glory symbolized by the planets themselves and their satellites. The planets of the solar system, the Cloud of Glory; the Light that Glows; and the Fire. We see that the actual structure of the solar system, as such, is clearly established in or on the Shekinah Pattern. And we might examine the atom, and if we did we would find that the atom itself is likewise established in structure and nature in harmony with the Shekinah Pattern. So it extends from the atom to the solar system.
In this regard we are caused to remember the Word in the first chapter of the Gospel according to John: “In the beginning was Shekinah, and the Shekinah was with God, and the Shekinah was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by Shekinah; and without Shekinah was not any thing made that was made. In Shekinah was life; and the life was the light of men.”
Now let us correlate the contents of the Ark of the Covenant with the manifestation of the evidence of the Presence of the One Who Dwells. The One Who Dwells is, of course, the Focalization of Deity that is involved in relationship to a particular Creative Triangle as it may bring human beings to focus at any given time or place. The One Who Dwells, the identity of the One Who Dwells, is determined on the basis of the particular Pattern of Focalization, or the Creative Triangle, that is at work or is established and may be under consideration. So, the Cloud of Glory, the Light that Glows, and the Fire. We have noted in previous meditations that the one who became attuned, first to the Glory, and then to the Light that Glows, and finally to the Fire, begins to have the ability to see into the Fire, to move into the Fire, and there to find the One Who Dwells, one like unto the Son of Man or one like unto the Son of God—either term may be used, depending upon the pattern under consideration.
We have recognized in our considerations that this particular aspect of the matter was clearly portrayed in the story of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, when these three were thrown bound hand and foot into the burning, fiery furnace—and the king looked, and, behold, he saw four men walking in the Fire. Meshach, Shadrach and Abednego represent the trinity again, the trinity of the Cloud, the Light that Glows and the Fire in relationship to the Shekinah Pattern, and within the Fire, the One Who Dwells, the fourth. We see this same pattern revealed in relationship to the vision as recorded in the Book of Revelation: “And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks; And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man.” And the further portrayal: “His feet were like fine brass, as if they were burned in a furnace”, etc. “the head and the hairs were white like wool… gird about the paps with a golden girdle.” All revealing the basic principles of Shekinah.
To be sure that there is no confusion in consciousness I would point out that the trinity is emphasized in the seven, the center of the seven is the One, and on the one side of the One, the four in the midst of the Fire, we have the trinity as it is known to man, physically speaking, body, mind and spirit, with interpenetrating heart; on the other hand, in relationship to the centering of the seven, we have the trinity of the Spirit—the Holy Spirit, the Christ Spirit, or Shekinah, all of which are, of course, the same. And whether we speak of it as it is often referred to, as the Father, relating it to the Fire; and the Son, relating it to the Light that Glows, the pattern of Truth; and the Holy Spirit, relating it to the Cloud of Glory—or however we may express it—it always comes out exactly the same thing.
Now the trinity of that which was preserved in the Ark of the Covenant correlated as physical or material factors of symbolism, in illustration with respect to the trinity that was revealed above the mercy seat between the cherubims. Let us note the pattern at the time of the wandering of the children of Israel in the wilderness where they were fed by the manna. If historically we examine into it and we find that at that time there was a period of a good many years when the earth was surrounded by a blanket, a peculiar gaseous cloud, which to a high degree shut out the light of the sun; and it was a period of time when vegetation did not grow, a period of time when not merely the children of Israel but all human beings living in all parts of the earth were depending upon what the Hebrews called manna. It was called by different names in different parts of the world, but at the same time all creatures and all human beings on the face of the earth lived on manna, and it was something that was precipitated out of this cloud that was around the earth at the time. We will not go into that extensively at the moment; perhaps in the Class we will have an opportunity to touch on this—I hope so. In any case, we need to begin to realize that the privilege of living on manna was not something that was limited to the children of Israel. They did not know that the other people in the world were living on manna at the same time, and it was natural that they should assume that it was something especially provided by God just for their special care; but the fact is that it was made manifest over the entire surface of the earth, and it was by reason of this manna, or honey food, or honey dew—it was called various things in different parts of the world—which made it possible for life to be preserved at that particular time. In any case, this manna came out of the cloud, the manna precipitated out of the cloud which enfolded the earth at that time.
And here again we see the great significance with respect to the Cloud of Glory over the mercy seat—the Cloud of Glory, and “in Shekinah was life.” The Cloud of Glory is, of course, the Life Pattern as it relates to the Shekinah Trinity, centered in the One Who Dwells. But, the Shekinah Life was the Light of men, made possible the reality of Light in man, that man might, in other words, see the Light. So, we see that the precipitation of the manna from the cloud that surrounded the earth at that time—and we can all say, each and every one of us, that our forebears lived through that period by reason of the manna, or the honey food, whatever it was called in the different parts of the world. And, out of the Cloud of Glory is the precipitation of that which makes it possible for us to live, in any case; for it is only by reason of the Shekinah Pattern in any human being that that human being can be alive. And then, Aaron's Rod which budded. We recognize the correlation there between the Light that Glows, for Truth and Light are always related. Wherever the Bible speaks of Light, it means the activated Truth. Wherever the Bible speaks of Truth it means the design and control which makes possible the reality of Light; and we need to remember always, when we read the scriptures that Light and Truth always correlate and are related. And then, the letters of Fire upon the stony tablets, the Fire which immediately surrounds the One Who Dwells. And as the human being begins to respond, the finger of God begins to write upon the stony tablets of your heart in letters of Fire, causing you to be a man or a woman according to the Divine Design.
Now, with this little introduction to the reality of the Shekinah Pattern of Being, we are reminded here of the Master's statement: “And the word which ye hear is not mine”—not the word of Jesus. Over and over again the Master emphasized that so that human beings would have no excuse for relating His expression to Himself as a physical man. The physical man was the means of manifestation, but He emphasized it over and over again. Nevertheless those who claim to be Christians or to be following Him have simply ignored His statements. He says, “The word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.” Now we noted in our meditations that this sixteenth verse gives us a beautiful portrayal of the Pattern, where we have recognized that our LORD on earth worked from the standpoint of focalization in the Fire of God's Love, and we speak of Him as the Lord of Love, and He says, “I”, not Jesus, understand; not Jesus, but the centering of the "I” the focus of consciousness in the Fire, the Fire of God's Love, “will pray the Father,” the One Who Dwells, “and he shall give you another Comforter even the Spirit of truth,” which is to say that focalization of consciousness and Being working from the standpoint of the Light that Glows. In other words, it was clearly set forth as being contained in the Shekinah Pattern of Being. Once this is recognized we can the more readily understand the Word that was spoken, “He that hath my commandments and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me.”
“Loveth me”? The Focalization of Deity provided, the orientation and origin of the pattern of activity centered in the Fire of the Shekinah Pattern—God's Love. “He … that loveth me.” Now the Father in this case refers to the One Who Dwells. “At that day”—at what day? At the day of realization. Human beings have assumed, and again it is an assumption, pure and simple, that there is going to be some day which God arbitrarily set apart, some time in the future when everything was going to happen all at once, and it was going to be to all human beings at the same time in the same way, which is not true—the Bible doesn’t teach it; only human beings have read the idea into the words of the scripture. But He says, “At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.”
Now, a good many times, in various ways, the Master made statements to this effect. We have several of them recorded in the seventeenth chapter of John, for instance. But here is this one, the twentieth verse of the fourteenth chapter of John. “At that day.” At what day? At the day of your awakening, at the day of your rebirth, at the day of your resurrection, at the day of your response, at the day of your acceptance of God and of the things of God. “At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father.” Now once we begin to see this in relationship to the Shekinah Pattern we can see clearly what the Master meant. If we try to comprehend it on the basis of the assumptions that the churches of the world which call themselves Christians have developed, it is incomprehensible, it doesn’t make sense, and it certainly doesn’t work, or the millions of so-called Christians in the world would allow the Power of God to so manifest that the troubles of the world could be cleared. So, in the Shekinah Pattern we see, “At that day,” at the day of your illumination, rebirth, resurrection, “ye shall know,” not guess, not assume, know, “at that day ye shall know that I am in my Father.”
Now the Fire is in the Father—the Shekinah Fire is in the Father and surrounds the Father, the Shekinah Fire has its source in the Father just as the Shekinah Light, the Light that Glows, is in the Father, has its source in the Father, and surrounds the Father outside of the Fire that surrounds the Father. And likewise with the Cloud of Glory. It has its source in the Father, in the One Who Dwells, and surrounds the Light that Glows, and surrounds the Fire, and surrounds the Father. Now very often the word Father, as the Master used it, signifies the One Who Dwells, the Fire, the Light that Glows, and the Cloud of Glory. And sometimes the word Father is used primarily in relationship to the Fire and the One Who Dwells. In any case, we see here the Master's statement: “At the day of your awakening, at the day of your comprehension, at the day when you begin to be reborn, so that you begin to see, ye shall know, not guess, hope, try to believe; ye shall know that I am in my Father. “I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.” By what means? By means of Shekinah. No other means. By means of Shekinah, the reality of the Fire, the Focalization of Deity in relationship to the Shekinah Fire pattern. And I will be in you just as I am in my Father. “I am in my Father.” Once we accept that and say, “Yes, we see that the Shekinah Fire is in the Father”—and the Shekinah Fire and the Father are One, and yet they are distinct manifestations, and by reason of the Shekinah Fire I will be in you, and by reason of the Shekinah Fire you will be in me.
“He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me.” How often the Master emphasized the point of loving. “He that loveth me keepeth my commandments.” He said it so many times in so many ways. He emphasized the Two Great Commandments, the first of which, the greatest of all, “To love the Lord thy God will all thy heart and mind and soul,” which includes the body, all that you are and with all of your strength. “Love the Lord thy God”—the Principle of Love, the first pattern of manifestation revealing the evidence of the Presence of the One Who Dwells. “He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father.” “He that loveth me”, the manifestation of the Shekinah Fire, “he will my Father love.” My Father will enfold him in the Shekinah Fire of my Being. “He it is that loveth me, and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father”, the One Who Dwells, “and I will love him who loveth me.”
“I”, the Shekinah Fire, the centering of it in Deity, “will love him that loveth me.” So, my Father will love him and I, the Shekinah Fire, will love him—and will do what? “And will manifest myself to him.” Now as long as you imagine, on the basis of foolish, human assumptions, that it was Jesus talking and that it was Jesus that was going to manifest to him, you will be wrong. But Jesus said, “And the word ye hear is not mine, but of the Father who sent me.” So let us stop trying to imagine that it is going to be Jesus who will manifest to us. Not once did Jesus ever say that I, Jesus, will manifest. He always said I, in the sense of His relationship to the Father. Without any exception you will find it true. And He did not say that the body Jesus would manifest. And yet human beings have jumped to foolish assumptions, have made the Power of God to be of no effect on earth, have spoiled the Divine Design, have kept the Kingdom of God from being made manifest, have tended to make the Master's life on earth to be of no effect, to be in vain, all because they have not listened, have not considered what He said, they have not been willing to set aside their own foolish human fancies, their assumptions, which are not founded in fact. And He says, “He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me.”
Now here we begin to see the pattern of approach. The heart must be touched, the individual must be awakened to the reality of Truth, he must begin to seek the Truth, before he can begin to understand the reality of the Fire. So, you are first touched by the Cloud of Glory, by the privilege of having a relatedness with God, and then you begin, through the Light, the Light that Glows, to be aware of the commandments, which is to say the Truth, the Laws of Being; and keeping the Laws of Being according to the Light that Glows, under the jurisdiction of Truth, or the Spirit of Truth, you begin to do what? “He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me.” You cannot reach the Fire, to love our LORD, in any real sense, until you begin to yield to the Cloud of Glory and to function according to the Light, the Light that Glows, which reveals the Truth. Now recognize, before we go any further here, that the Master concluded His prayer, the LORD's Prayer, with these same words, that is, the same Pattern: “For thine is the kingdom—the Kingdom of the Glory, the Kingdom of Reality, the Kingdom of Control—“thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory”—the Power, the whole manifestation having reference to Shekinah. In other words, we could conclude that prayer, “And thine is the Shekinah,” and be expressing exactly the same thing. “Thine, O Father, is the Shekinah.” And once we see that we begin to know the reality of that which the Master taught, and we can begin to let the Light have some meaning so that we can keep the commandments, keep the Laws of Life, begin to function in harmony with the Divine Design and the Control Factors in Truth, yielding to the Power of God in the Glory of God. And then what happens? “And he that loveth me”—he that has come to the Fire of Love by the path that I have opened, the Way, the Truth and the Life, he that has come to the reality of Love by this path—"he that loveth me.” And “he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him”—my Father will love him and I will love him—"and I will manifest myself to him.” Not Jesus the body of the man but the reality of Shekinah, the reality of that which He was revealing. And He said, “Follow me.”
And then in the second statement, after Judas revealed his failure to comprehend, He went on to say, “If a man love me, he will keep my words.” And “words” is the Word that signifies Shekinah. “And my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him”—the reality of Shekinah. He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.” So why do those who call themselves Christians constantly try to make out that Jesus was a liar? He meant what He said. “The words that ye hear are not mine, the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself. They are the Father's which sent me.” Or, “The Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.” He said it so many times, and those who claim to follow Him do not pay any attention. They ignore it. They refuse to believe that He spoke the Truth. And consequently they are filled with all sorts of assumptions which are not of the Light, which are not of the Truth, which deny the Glory, which keep man separate from the Heavenly Pattern of the Kingdom that is at hand. “He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me. These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you.”
Now, He had said that He was going to leave, and all human beings could see, and have seen down through the centuries, was the idea that the body of the man Jesus was going to leave. Now it was not Jesus who said it. The body did leave, in a sense, yes. But, everyone has been assuming down through the centuries that Jesus said, “I, the man, the physical form which you see here, I am going to leave.” And as long as we have that assumption, you cannot understand the real significance of what He said, what He taught, what He exemplified. Let us examine. He continues, “But the Comforter, which is [of] the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name.” In what name? In Shekinah—not Jesus. The word Jesus has certainly been abused and misused. No one loves our LORD any more than I, but they have distorted the pattern of His Life until they have made the name Jesus mean something that it—well, it is foolishness, it is ridiculous! That is why the correct pronunciation of His Name is not used. You have heard me use the correct expression of His Name. We need to go a little further before we touch that again. [greatcosmicstory.blogspot.com/source-of-life-and-names-of-deity.html]
“But the Comforter, which is the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in Shekinah, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I”—the Shekinah Pattern of focalization in God’s Love—"have said unto you." Of course it came through the lips of Jesus, just as that which I say unto you comes through the lips of the form you see before you. But if it originates with me in the outer sense, as a man, it is nothing. You are wasting your time in being here. “The words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself.” It is just as true of me as it was of our Master when He was on earth. “And the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.” Just as true of me in this hour as it was of our Lord when He was on earth. “But the Comforter, which is the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in Shekinah, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.” And what have those who call themselves Christians forgotten? Many things that He said. But what have I brought to your remembrance, to emphasize to you among many things? That the words He spoke were not the words of Jesus the man! They were the words of the Father through Shekinah.
“The words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself.” And until you actually reach a point where you stop attributing the words of the Father to the man Jesus, you cannot possibly understand what He taught. This is one of the points whereon the devil has blinded the eyes of innumerable earnest, sincere Christians, all the so-called Christian churches, so-called Catholic or so-called Protestant, it makes no difference, up and down the line. They all ignored what Jesus taught! What Jesus taught! What did He teach? That, “the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself.” And until you begin to accept that … that is the about all that Jesus did teach! Everything else came from the Father. But He, as a man, had to teach something: “Don't attribute what I say to you to me the man. Don't say, ‘Jesus taught.’ These are the words of the Father, and the words that ye hear are not mine, but the Father's which sent me.” And once you begin to realize that that is what Jesus taught and the rest is what the Father taught, speaking through the lips of Jesus, you can begin to understand and get away from the foolish human assumptions that have bound human beings in the veil of misery down through the centuries. “But the Comforter, which is the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in Shekinah, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.” Not Jesus. It came through the lips of Jesus.
“Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you.” Whose peace? Who was speaking? The Father speaking in relationship to what? The Focalization of Deity in the Fire, the Shekinah Fire. [http://greatcosmicstory.blogspot.com/the-light-of-shekinah.html] Where do we begin to find peace? In the reality of God's Love. You lose your contact with the reality of God's Love and you do not have peace. My peace. “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth.” How does the world give? How do human beings give? How would the man Jesus have given if He had been giving as a man? “Not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.” Now, if you are assuming when you read these sacred, holy words that they are simply the words of Jesus the man, you will never understand. It is not the words of Jesus the man, as He Himself testified over and over again—the Focalization of Deity working in the Fire of Love, “For God so loved the world.”
Love—the Master emphasized it over and over again—the Focalization of Deity in Love. “I,” “I go away.” I, the Focalization of Deity in Love, go away. To do what? “And if I go, I will prepare a place for you,” Not Jesus. No. “I will prepare a place for you.” Let us go back a moment to the beginning of this very Chapter which we have been considering. “Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.” The man Jesus? The Shekinah Pattern of Reality which was revealed through Jesus. That does not detract from Jesus. It makes it possible for us to understand Him and to see the Truth as it is.
“In my Father's house are many mansions.” Now what are these Mansions in the Father's House? First, in the primary aspect, we begin to see the Shekinah Pattern—the Shekinah Fire, the Light that Glows, the Cloud of Glory, these are Mansions in the Father's House. “I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself.” Now, human beings have imagined that that was Jesus talking, and that the man, the physical form of Jesus as a man, was somehow going to come floating down out of the sky on a cloud to do something or other. That is not what Jesus taught, it is not what the Bible teaches, it is not what is revealed in the sacred Word of God. Again it is assumption, pure and simple—assumption by human beings who did not stop to read the Word, who did not remember what He said, and so they have been weak and helpless creatures all through the centuries, not letting the Power of the Spirit of God manifest, although He taught men to pray: “Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.” And if God's Will is done on earth in you, do you think there is no Power to accomplish something? Human beings have repeated words like parrots, refusing to see the truth of the matter, to accept it. He did not say, “And if I, Jesus, go.” He said, “The words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself.”
These are the words that are contained here in the tenth verse of this same Chapter: “The words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself.” And so, He meant these words: “And if I go,” and, “I go to prepare a place for you.” Where? In some far off sky? Heaven? Some other where? No. He had said, “The kingdom of heaven is at hand.” “To prepare a place for you.” Where? In the reality of that Kingdom, in the Pattern of Shekinah, that you might begin to be Sons and Daughters of God, that the Power of God may manifest through you, that the reality of my Kingdom may express and appear on earth that you may accomplish that to which you are called. “I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself.” I will come again. That is supposed to be a basis for the wide-spread teaching of the so-called second coming of Christ, and those who teach the idea of the second coming of Christ have no more idea, no concept, of what Jesus taught. They are very busy reading their own assumptions and concepts into the Word of God, but they never stop to see what the Bible said, and they taught a lot of nonsense and made so-called Christians feel that they could just sort of twiddle their thumbs and wait. Some day Jesus would come and do it all. They would just make a living, they would just get by. Everything would be all right. Some day Jesus would come and do it all. No! That is not what the Bible teaches!
And so, He is going to prepare a place for us. Where? In Shekinah. How is it going to be? By providing a Pattern of Focalization in the Shekinah Pattern so that the reality of the Comforter might appear. But did the Comforter appear in those days? They did not let it appear, they did not let that Focalization of the Comforter appear, to have any meaning. He said, “He is with you.” The body of the man who was to be the revelation of Deity in that pattern was there. He had provided everything. But did they listen to Him? No, they would not listen, they would not let the full day of Pentecost come. If they had let the day of Pentecost fully come, they would have come to know who was in the Fire—who were the focalizations involved. They would have understood and they would have let the Power of God work according to the Divine Design. But they would not listen. They did not obey the LORD, they did not let the day of Pentecost fully come, the Focalization of the Pattern never appeared, and the Power was lost. They followed impulsive Peter, who ruined the whole thing, who defied God, who disobeyed our LORD and KING, and he has been practically deified by the so-called Christian world because they have been following Peter! And that is why they are a weak and helpless mass of human beings through whom the Power of God does not appear. Peter threw it away, and all who have followed Peter have continued to throw it away. Instead of calling themselves Christians, they ought to call themselves Peterites and Paulites. They have not followed our LORD! They are not Christians! Peterites and Paulites. Once we begin to recognize that we need to follow our LORD, begin to recognize that which was revealed of the Father through the lips of Jesus, to remember it and to give heed to it, we can begin to comprehend that He was preparing a place in the Shekinah Pattern of Being for all who would enter in.
“Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you.” He went away—insofar as the manifestation through the body of Jesus was concerned—to return. His return is supposed to be through the Body of Many Members! And the world has never let it take form! I know that there are many churches that call themselves the Body of Christ. If there is a church that dares to call itself the Body of Christ, I say to that church, so-called, where are the works of Christ? And not one can answer! Not one! Roman Catholic or Protestant or anything else. Not one can answer, “Here are the works of Christ.” They have gone about teaching a false gospel. They say, “The gospel of Jesus,” that Jesus died on the cross, and that is a lie to begin with. Jesus did not die on the cross. They are teaching the concepts of the devil! Assumptions! Things that Jesus did not teach! Assumptions pure and simple. The Master said, “Follow me.” He did not say, “Follow Peter.” He did not say, “Follow Paul.” He did not say follow anyone who did not reveal the Way, the Truth, and the Life. And they have not followed Him, and the Power of God is not made manifest through a single one of them, and they teach a false Gospel. Which one has taught the Gospel? The Master said, “My gospel, my good news, is the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” And where is one of them that teaches it? They do not! No. “Jesus died on a cross so you could be saved from your sins and go to heaven.” And that is supposed to be the Gospel of Jesus Christ. You say, “I believe on Him, I believe on the precious blood of Jesus,” and then you are automatically saved and you can go to heaven, and you have to goto heaven to find the Power of God. According to that philosophy of the devil—and that is all it is, it is a philosophy of the devil: “The Power of God cannot manifest on earth.” If Jesus Christ meant anything in the world at all, He was revealing the Truth that the Power of God can mean something on earth—He revealed it. And yet human beings have assumed that they were successful in killing the body of our LORD. They did not! He did not die on the cross! That is a lie of the devil! And anyone that teaches it is either ignorant or willfully misleading others.
Once we begin to see what the Bible, the True Bible, teaches, once we begin to see what our LORD and Master teaches, we can begin to understand how we can enter the place that He prepared, the place for the Body of Many Members, the Vine with Many Branches, the reality of the works made manifest, the works in Power that He revealed. Where are they? Where are they? “He that believeth on me.” Who? Jesus, the man? No. He had just in the breath before said, “The words I say unto you I speak not of myself.” “Believeth on me.” Believeth on Shekinah and the Pattern of the Father, the Reality of Deity made evident on earth. Revealed through this Body, yes. His body was the Temple through which it was revealed. Blessed be His Holy Name. But, “He that believeth on me,” on Shekinah, on the Father, the words of the Father, “the works that I do,” the works that Jesus did? Well they appeared through Jesus, but did Jesus do the works? No! He said, “The Father who dwelleth in me, He doeth the works.” All right, Jesus did not do the works. He simply let the works of the Father appear. And unless we do the same, unless we follow Him, there will be no works. Where are the works? Look out into the world. All the churches in the world. Not one can truthfully rise up and say, “The works of the Father are accomplished through us.” Not one! Not one can say that they form the Body of Christ on earth without lying in their teeth—not one.
Until we begin to get away from these false assumptions, false beliefs, and begin to pay attention to what our Master said, we cannot be men and women in Christ and begin to realize the Beauty and the Wonder and the Glory of that which our Master made manifest through His body, the body of Jesus, on earth—our LORD and KING, the Supreme One. Let us obey Him, let us believe what He said, and let us follow Him.
Our Gracious LORD, I thank Thee for these blessed ones here gathered, and for all who are responding to Thy Love, whosoever, wheresoever, they may be, that Thy children may be awakened, from every race and color and creed, and drawn with the irresistible cords of Thy Love to stand upon the rock and be Members of Thy Body on earth, now and forever; for Thine is the Kingdom and the Power and the Glory, for ever, IN the Christ. Aum-en.
