How much are we capable of enfolding and encompassing? When we graduate from school, spiritual school, we become responsible in a real world. In that world there are a lot of unreal people. We're not too interested in the school from which we graduated. I don't think even in the human world, after leaving school, one drags the school around with one, trying to tell everybody about it. Graduating from spiritual school, we have assumed a certain maturity of responsibility which is our own, individually speaking. Of course at this point we are aware of the whole, of the fact that our individual expression, while it must stand because it is the expression of truth, is also an aspect of a far greater truth. We are a part of that far greater truth to the extent that our expression is true—that we are mature enough to be spiritually responsible for ourselves. That doesn't take us into a position of isolation. It offers connection with the far greater truth of which our individual truth is simply an aspect.


We have a field of enfoldment and encompassment, immediately available to us as we assume our mature spiritual responsibilities in the individual sense. Mention is made in the Book of Revelation about the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven. I am sure you all recognize that this is the true state of spiritual consciousness, a new state insofar as human experience is concerned, which comes down from God out of heaven. Later, with respect to this holy city, there is indication that nothing should enter into it that defiles or whatsoever worketh abomination or makes a lie. In our own living, here is the holy place in which we abide. We find that there are others who abide in that holy place with us, so it is not merely an individual thing. Here is something coming down from God out of heaven and factually emerging on earth, because of us and all those who provide the means by which it may so emerge—a holy place into which nothing that does not belong may enter in.


Now we may see this, first of all, as a personal state for which we individually are responsible within ourselves. And we also see it as a collective state for which we are individually responsible too, that nothing should enter into that collective of the holy place. Only as there is such a holy place can there be the factual reality of the Priesthood on earth. This is the basis for the enfoldment, and beyond that again the encompassment, which is our primary responsibility in the real world. All that does not belong in the holy place is excluded. But let us not merely look at it in a negative way, because then it would be entirely empty, wouldn't it? It wouldn't stay empty long; nature abhors a vacuum. It is a matter of letting it be filled with the real quality of spirit, consequent upon our own living experience.


But our concern is with this matter of enfoldment. We have individual spheres of enfoldment, which are, of course, at the same time included in the collective sphere of enfoldment. We never try to lift our individual spheres of enfoldment out of the whole, because immediately we would lose the reality of that enfoldment. We would lose our association with the holy place. So we extend an enfoldment to those who are beginning to see the light—we could put it that way. They only begin to see the light because of our expression of the spirit of God, individually and together, moving upon the face of the waters that are present in the consciousness of mankind, and out of that consciousness will come certain individual focalizations in response. These are those in whom the light is beginning to shine, so that they begin to see some more and understand more of the quality of life—and these require enfoldment.


The enfoldment is beyond the holy place, insofar as we are concerned, because obviously anyone coming will have those things that don't belong in the holy place. Therefore you cannot willy‑nilly invite anyone into the holy place who gives some evidence of experiencing an increase of light in their own consciousness. So here is a realm of enfoldment beyond the holy place. We have described this in terms of the outer court and the encampment. Within this realm of enfoldment there is rest. I suppose this is the first matter that emphasizes itself to a person. Maybe it did to us—at last we're home, so to speak; a feeling of rest. As the Master put it, “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” So there is a place of rest, where the turmoil may begin to drain away out of people. It is also a place of safety, where there is a sense of being protected. It is our responsibility to provide this. It is also a place of education. “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me.” All right, education. This is the nature of the place of enfoldment which we rightly provide. Are we going to say that this place of enfoldment is a very restricted place, into which only two or three people can fit? Or do we recognize the reality of it, which is vastly more than the holy place?


The holy place is, in this sense, a small place—there are not too many who are capable of functioning as the Priesthood in the holy place, who are capable, individually speaking, of maintaining that holy place in their own experience, never allowing anything that defiles or works abomination or makes a lie to enter in. Only those who are of the Priesthood are in the holy place. When there are those, and the holy place is present because of them, then the influence of that extends on out in enfoldment of others. And we have a place beyond us that is far more capable of including people than, presently, is the holy place.


If we use the symbolism of the encampment, well that's a big place, lots of room. We need to have this attitude, that there may be no exclusion of any point of light that begins to emerge because the spirit which we have been offering in our living has been moving upon the face of the waters of humanity. All right, humanity is spread around; there are quite a few of them out there. Are we going to say well, we'll take a dozen? Or is it going to be open.

We are capable individually and together of providing this large place of enfoldment. Perhaps it needs to be larger than it has been thus far. And it isn't the place of enfoldment with anticipation that those who are so enfolded are going to become hooked up somehow with EDL. 'Emissaries of Divine Light' is the name of a college from which we have graduated into the real world. While we may have some college reunions on occasion, we are really about the Father's business in the world. And we are introducing people to that on the basis of invitation to the place of enfoldment. There are those who come in, and there is work to be done relative to those we enfold. Obviously there is the general pattern of rest which is offered, the provision of the sense of protection and safety, and then education. This education doesn't merely relate to what we have thought of as spiritual education in the orthodox Emissary sense: “Well, people must be brought to Class,” and so on. It isn't necessarily that at all. There is a far wider field of education than that. This [Emissary spiritual education] is specialized education with respect to those who may, if they will, be included in the Priesthood, to stand in the holy place. But the vast majority don't, or won't.


And yet there is something of education needful—a reconditioning of consciousness, to begin with. There are various means of providing this—enfolding them where they are, letting people alone, not trying to make them into something that we think would be better, but letting people alone. Let them be enfolded. There are various classifications of people who more easily relate to this area or that area. There are other gatherings we have, of many kinds. And there will be increasing numbers—if we are doing our job—wholistic gatherings, considerations in various fields, into which people may be invited and in which they may be enfolded. On this basis there is a beginning made with respect to a reconditioning of consciousness.


Some changes may be wrought, so that those concerned may feel more at home in the encampment than they did where they were before they became aware of the fact that there was an encampment. If we play our parts correctly they will have a sense of enfoldment; they will have the increasing experience of rest initially, a sense of protection, and begin to actually experience education without maybe telling them so. As long as we experience the reality, do we need to be told that we are experiencing it? Probably if we were told we would set up a resistance against it. That's the way human nature is. So we let it be, not a con game—not an Emissary con game—but the provision of what is necessary to allow some things to happen in people, about which they may not know is occurring. But they will only occur to the extent that those concerned are open to let it occur. It's not being imposed. If they are open to receive it they will receive it; if they're not they won't. So there is the enfoldment.


And beyond that again there is encompassment—the encompassment of everything, of all humanity, indeed of the world. It is all‑inclusive. We have our points of contact which increasingly enable a greater effectiveness in that encompassment. It has been, evidently, sufficiently effective thus far to prevent some final disaster from striking. But as it all intensifies there will need to be a greater control extended in a more specific way. It might be said that this encompassment could be compared to casting a net over the world, a net of control and containment, dominion and containment. The net is composed of interlocking meshes which relate to people.





We find ourselves associated with people who have, in one way or another, connections into the state of the tribes of the earth beyond the encampment. Usually these connections are those who come into the encampment, who participate in the enfoldment, and through them there may be an extension of the net of encompassment. We need to be alert in this regard, so that we do not take arbitrary Emissary attitudes with respect to anyone, thereby excluding that person from enfoldment. We see the value of people by reason of their associations. If such people are open to enfoldment, so that they come closer, then through such people we can reach what is beyond.


There are already the beginnings of such a network in various fields with which I am familiar—far more than even those who are the points of connection understand or see. We need to be aware that this is an open‑ended process. We think of things as being small because they are close, but it is through these apparently small things that the larger things are encompassed and the dominion of God begins to be an increasing reality on earth, regardless of the thrashings around of the dragon, regardless of the human‑nature state which still seeks to govern out there.


Here we have a consciousness of ministry which transcends, I am sure, the usual Emissary viewpoint, because it begins to become no longer an illusion, but the actuality. The actuality is related to people—and what we extend as enfoldment and encompassment is not some little viewpoint as a cult on earth. This is the real thing, and we reach a point of actually being willing to acknowledge this. There has been a hesitancy to acknowledge this, and the endeavour to maintain a cult, because it felt safer. But to really reach out—that is what is required!

No matter what field you might be considering these fields all blend together by reason of the spirit of God, the spirit in which they are considered. Whether it’s economics or race, living within one’s means or finding proper relationships with others, it all involves the same basic requirements spiritually speaking. The same principles are at work regardless of what it is one may consider. There is only one approach which can handle all that needs to be handled—the approach of spiritual expression. Those words haven’t always revealed the truth in the consciousness of those who have used them. But in actual experience we begin to find more and more that no matter what it is that needs to be handled it can easily be done on the basis of spiritual expression, because we have a certain experience of this ourselves.


There is the necessity of allowing a blending to take place in the whole design of humanity. Circumstances the way they are are the ones we have to handle; the world is the way it is and we accept it that way. Maybe the information to consider the way we think it should be might develop some ideas as to what the true state was, out of which we have fallen, presumably with the thought that we might be able to scramble back—but that wouldn’t work, obviously. Things are in such a mixed-up state now in the world, there is only one way to go, and that is to accept the way things are and let the spirit of God go to work so that what needs to born out of this can be. The efforts that are put forward to establish racial harmony, for instance, or economic stability, are all futile. The only way we can go is on the basis of spirit. And how thankful we may be that this has become apparent to us. It is becoming apparent to more in the world these days—but the vast majority have no idea, and so they ride off in all directions, trying to solve the world’s problems and only making things worse. There isn’t anyone who doesn’t imagine that what he proposes is right, is good. We don’t propose anything other than our own expression of life, taking responsibility for ourselves.


Our positioning in this whole world of effects is in what we may describe as the Holy Place, the Core positioning—because unless there are those found in this Core positioning the world is left without any expectation other than total disintegration. There must be a true point of orientation and unification if the inherent oneness of mankind is to be restored. So we see the way to go and we begin to assume increasingly the responsibility which places us in the holy place. All that is needful springs from the holy place. Here is the true point of orientation and here is the means of unification. The holy place has been absent from human experience simply because there hasn’t been anyone present in it. It’s not that the holy place has gone anywhere, but that it was uninhabited. Now we approach the holy place to dwell there. But we can’t dwell there until in our own personal experience nothing that defiles or works abomination or makes a lie can enter into our own experience of living, what springs forth from ourselves in our particular circumstances. If the circumstances have power to violate the holy place it is because we let them do so. They do not have any power of themselves to do it. We simply have opened our hearts to that experience, if it happens. There is no one else responsible but us. While we have known this in theory for a long time, there’s always, I think, the niggling thought in the back of people’s minds that it really wasn’t entirely one’s own responsibility, that someone else could be found somewhere who was to blame when things didn’t work the way they should. But it’s not true—that’s a lie getting into the holy place, isn’t it? So we harbor no excuses, and consequently we begin to establish a state of experience where there is a holy place for us, and we are present in it.


Out of this holy place comes the enfoldment of those who represent, individually, the face of the waters of the consciousness of mankind. And as we are in the holy place, the spirit of God is our expression, so the spirit of God moves upon the face of the waters and light begins to be the experience of those who are moving toward inclusion in our enfoldment. This is an inevitable happening once there is an inhabited holy place of sufficient consistency and occupied by an adequate crew of Priests and Priestesses, to be always there. So the next requirement, from the standpoint of those who are present in the holy place, those who are charged with the responsibility of spiritual government therefore, is the matter of enfoldment—the enfoldment of those in whom the light is beginning to shine. Not merely those who are momentarily reflecting the light which we ourselves may be shining. We need to begin to discern the distinction here. There are those who are delighted to bask momentarily in your light and they may give you a warm feeling of response, but let them get out of your presence and they’ll betray you instantly, because it is only a momentarily reflection of the light that was present in you. And when they get away from that—they are reflectors—whatever they’re up against next, they’ll reflect that. We find a lot of people who are completely untrustworthy in consequence, because of their reflector stance. So let’s not be fooled by such people when they come into our vicinity, who will tell very quickly what the fact is when they go out of our vicinity. But there are those in whom the light is beginning to shine, their own light, so that while it may brighten when they come into our presence—that is, if we are letting our light shine—it will still be there when they move somewhere else. And it is these whom we enfold. It is these who are included in the encampment, seeing that as a way of distinguishing between those in whom the light is not shining and these in whom it is shining.


There is the encampment, and all those who come into it we enfold. There are those beyond the encampment, and all these we encompass. Now I am just using these words in an arbitrary way so as to indicate a distinction here. Mind you, we encompass those whom we enfold, too. But we don’t enfold everybody. We encompass everybody so that they are contained in our field of spiritual responsibility in representation of the Lord as we stand in the holy place, but the ones with whom we work immediately are those who are within the range of enfoldment. So those who are present in the holy place are those who are trustworthy and who have not maintained any of the structured views—no matter how good—but are flexible and quite capable of accommodating the spirit of God as it emerges into expression, whatever form it may take.


Now, we may see here that there are some racial implications here, because of the difference in genes, not only from the standpoint of being of a certain race but from the standpoint of what the pattern is within the race. There is a vast variety here. Obviously this is the state of affairs as it is and this provides the only means by which the spirit of God can find expression. Well this is true of us, if we aspire to stand in the holy place. It doesn’t change the earthly heredity in an instant; it’s still there. So there is some value to the fact that it is still there, because it is the only means that the spirit of God has to use in the expression of what is required, first of all from the standpoint of enfoldment and also from the standpoint of encompassment. We can obviously see some uses here, because it connects us up with all kinds of other people. Whether we like the idea or not, it’s a fact.


Government from the holy place is all based in the working of the One Law, and therefore the right expression is absolutely essential if there are to be those who stand in the holy place and who therefore provide the essential government. Perhaps you can recognize, see the implication anyway, that government is quite easy. It’s not by the sweat of the face anymore. One is dealing with essences, vibrational essences, in the holy place. One is not a blacksmith in the holy place, wielding a hammer, striking the iron on the anvil. It’s not that sort of a state. Here is the point of stillness—stillness from the standpoint of intense external activity, but that appearance of stillness is filled with activity in fact, the activity essential to the right handling of vibrational essences. So there is no government until there are those who are present in the holy place. They can’t get into the holy place in the first place as long as there is anything that defiles or works abomination or makes a lie, so it’s very selective. But when there are those who are in the holy place there is the basis for true government.


We may again be reminded of the Master’s words recorded for us: “Come unto me all ye that labour and are heavy laden, I will give you rest.” These indicate an invitation into the realm of enfoldment, out of the area of mere encompassment into the realm of both encompassment and enfoldment. He said, “Take my yoke upon you and learn of me, and ye shall find rest unto your souls.” He also said, “For I am meek and lowly in heart.” Here is the natural experience of humility which characterizes those who stand in the holy place: “I am meek and lowly in heart.” That influence of humility is part of what is extended in the enfoldment. We don’t enfold people in arrogance; we enfold them in the spirit of humility, that they may participate in that attitude of humility. There is enfoldment so that there may be the provision of what is needful from the standpoint of education and training. Now as with all education and training, the spiritual education of our classes and so on, it is for some purpose—one graduates somewhere along the way and allows the education to be a practical expression in one’s own living.





This is the easy yoke. “Yoke” indicates a close association at least. First of all the association with God, from the human standpoint. What is the creative cycle? Radiation, response, attraction, union. Here is the yoke being experienced, the easy yoke being experienced. It is an easy yoke.  My yoke is easy, my burden is delight. We’re delighted. It is a delightful experience. So the area of enfoldment for which those who stand in the holy place are responsible includes education and training. It isn’t information that’s needed; it is the training that may be helpful in releasing the fuller experience of the spirit of God in expression, because anything that is to happen must happen on this basis and not because the human mind gets a lot of information and says, “Ah, now I understand this. Now I’ll really go to work.” Oh no; it wouldn’t work. The only way it works is when the spirit of God is in expression. So the basic training relates to this matter of gaining a greater experience of that expression. And the only place where we can gain this experience is in our daily living.

Anne Blaney — Welcome all to the sixth Temple service, since we initiated these monthly services last March. It’s such a pleasure to commune together in this Temple of Light. Holy, holy, holy is this vibrational ark. I’m going to read a review of the stated purpose for our monthly services, for all us and particularly for those who are here for the first time this morning:


“These Temple of Light services are designed to facilitate the generation of a unique quality of refined pneumaplasm. Our primary purpose is to provide the LORD with a vehicle through which to release the radiation of love into His body and world, letting the spirit pour forth in unified rhythms of blessing and return in the ascending current. We utilize the high vibrational qualities inherent in primary Third Sacred School materials to open new doors and allow movement together into higher ranges—a vertical expansion which lets essences come to focus and replenish the earth in new horizontal creation. Each service begins by giving various ones an opportunity to read an excerpt, or by sharing an audio or video selection, from Uranda or Martin. Then we open the space for free-flowing conversation, moving in the clear current of the Word.


Perhaps it is helpful to mention again here, that these Temple of Light services are of a new vintage, and we are all learning to work and converse together, letting our communications flow within the current of the spirit inherent in the words read or shared on a recording, keeping close to the primary vibration being released, and developing that grace and ease which is natural and authentic to each one who speaks. Stillness, keen listening, enfoldment one of another, passionate love for the Word, and a recognition of the privileges of service to the Most High.


We all bring our unique spirits and expressions into the Temple. These various differentiations of Spirit connect with essences in resonant substance here and beyond this gathering. It’s possible that something we express here that seems unique to us, may be the exact essence that is resonant in another, we know not where. So we should feel free to express our uniqueness in the Oneness.


In our past Temple services, various configurations have presented service material and then offered their own thoughts as starting points for conversation. For example, our friends Bill and Linda Bahan along with Pamela and Millicent read 'Passion for the King' [March 21]. David shared portions of 'Melchizedek' and Bill read 'This Is My Body' [April 18]. Carol, Steve, Terry and Robert provided a focus using the service 'This Generation' [May 16]. In another service, Laura and Pamela’s offering centered on 'The Supreme Gift' [June 27], and last month Louise and John Gray read and spoke on 'The Accuser Cast Out Forever' [July 25]. Today we have another group offering from Arno van Haght, Mia Euvrard and Laura Malan from Johannesburg, South Africa. 


Speaking for myself, I’m so aware of the generation of precious substance, rising from communion with the Spirit of the One who called us to be together. This is the Living Design. Understanding and blending with the Ascending Flame, just as we were called, we lift and draw resonant substance to the One we love. In that spirit, I’m happy to welcome Arno, Mia and Laura.

Arno van Haght — Thank you, Anne for that welcome. Thank you for revisiting the Purpose again of this Service Pattern. And thank you David, for articulating that invitation so beautifully. Our Lord is very kind in that He reminds us daily of why we are here if we can perceive it. Very kind indeed. And here we are.


What a wonderful and special occasion it is to be together; to be here with those who know the voice of the Good Shepherd, the Prince of Peace; with those who are thrilled to respond to the call to lift up our heads; to be willing to be lifted up in body, soul, and spirit—allowing the King of Glory not only to come in—but to be deeply welcomed to do so. In the Psalm, that actually refers to those words, the question was asked, “Who is this King of Glory?” And it's wonderful that, again for the forgetful mind, He does give us many, many names that we can know Him by, call Him by: The Lord of Love; The LORD of Hosts; The Lord, Strong and Mighty. The LORD of Heaven and Earth. Wonderful! That's what was said in Isaiah, “Wonderful, Counselor”, the “Prince of Peace” upon whose shoulders the Government of God will be established. And, of course, we have a role in that. And that purpose being so wonderfully clear, we have a north star that is easy for us to tack by.


This is the Word of the Wonderful One in Whom we rest. The Word of the Wonderful One in Whom our minds can also come to rest, in a world that has been filled with chaos, and that is filled with chaos, and anxiety and fear. Because here with all of you, we have the chance to have the Word come and be made flesh. Because we are here. I know that this is a celebration actually. Because we are here. Because we know our identity. And because we can come to rest in that identity. Those of us here have allowed ourselves to come and be in the Presence of the One we love. And we know the Spirit of Truth that has allowed us to experience the Word and to come to understand the Word and to understand our Commission. Anne, you read so wonderfully from the words of the Welcome. I choose to share again—which amplifies what was shared by Uranda, in opening Seven Steps To The Temple Of Light, where he said:


“Our function”—those of us who gather in the Temple, those of us who make up the Temple, as Messengers, our function as Messengers, as Bearers of the Divine Light, Priestesses and Priests in His Temple, who reveal His Glory and His Power and His Strength and His Wisdom and who act always in His Honor—“Our function is to let Reality manifest in the world chaos.” We do this, because it is the Will of the Father, that “in due season, the responding ones of the masses will be drawn into harmonization with the Focal Expression of Reality, which is made manifest through us in the world.”


We really couldn't ask for a more thrilling invitation, a more amazing purpose, a more wonderful Commission than the one that our KING has given us. This is the Word of God given to us today. The Word, which is God, and was with God, made flesh in this hour and in all the days of our tomorrows because we have come to be harmonized, and to stay harmonized, with the Focal Expression of Reality—here and now. That has to be thrilling! The Lord has to be excited about that!


And so, the Lord is in His Holy temple because I Am here. You are here. And in this way, we are the expanded reality of I Am THAT I Am. Knowing that—our identity, because of Him, because He is in us and we love Him—when we gather as the sons and daughters of God, as those that make possible the Temple of Light, establishing the Focal Point for His Government on Earth—what a wonderful work! What a wonderful privilege to be a part of that. And we do this work—all of us together, each in our unique way—and know that it can be done. I'm not one much for taking on jobs that cannot be done. But at least I know this one can be done, because it is who I Am. It is who you are, and because He is our KING. And He is that kind of a KING. The kind of a King, that you just say “yes” to.

I am light “I am Divinity defined”. I Am THAT I Am, because I—and all of us here and further out beyond—have in truth been made in the image and likeness of God. This is His Word confirmed by His Daughter.


Arno van Haght — I am Divinity defined. This is the simple identity—the Truth of identity—our identity. I am Divinity defined in expression. I Am. I Am the Truth of Love. The Truth that is the Light that Glows because of the Fire of Love that burns within. I Am that Truth of Light that Glows because of the Fire of Love that burns within—and in that union of Love and Truth, the evidence of the Presence of the One who Dwells is known. The glory and the power and the majesty and the radiance of the KING of Kings and the Prince of Peace is known in and through us because we receive Him. Here is the reality of Shekinah made known. Here. Right now, here with all of you. Not a concept of the coming of the KING, but the reality, if we can perceive it and receive it. Uranda offered some clues on this matter of perceiving.; for the mind that's always so busy he did indicate that there is a tranquil mind, the mind centered in Center. And I would invite Mia to share the Word of the Spirit of His Truth, as it was made known to us in the second step of the Seven Steps to the Temple of Light.

In Tranquillity all unwanted characteristics are dissolved, for nothing of a destructive nature can abide therein. Tranquillity springs forth from the Fountain of Realization. Let Love Radiate, without thought of results.


“The outer mind of man is necessary to man’s salvation, yet is it the snare that prevents men from entering in. The function of the outer mind is not to attempt to direct the affairs of men, for it is rightly ordained as a Channel through which the Wonderful One, even the Lord within, may direct all things on the material planes.


“As an Open Window for the Inner Being, the outer mind is Perfect. That outer mind which is Tranquil, and one-pointedly centered in the One within, is an Open Window through which the glories and powers of the Wonderful One may shine forth into the world in Perfect Service to mankind. Such a mind is an Open Window through the veil, through which man may see and know the wonders of heaven, even the Realms of Light.


“The Way of Tranquillity is the Way of the Wonderful One, for he who puts his full and complete trust in his Father within, remaining centered in Him, knowing Him as the One Source, is he who is Tranquil. To such an one the tempests and stormy waves of world uncertainty are nothing, for I AM THAT I AM speaks the blessed word, “Peace, be still,” and for him there is a great calm. A Tranquil mind lets the Son’s Light in, and all clouds of darkness are dispelled. He who is Patient can be drawn up into Tranquillity, and therein he finds Realization. Tranquillity flows forth from the One within, calming the waves that distort the vision, removing the mountains that prevent release, pouring the soothing Oil of Love upon the feverish brow of the weary one who turns whole-heartedly to the Lord. This is the Way. No matter how hard anyone may struggle, fight, or attempt to use the outer-mind will-power, Tranquillity is no more than a dream until the weary one turns to the Lord and puts his trust in the Wonderful One within. Then it is that he finds Peace. Then it is that Tranquillity enfolds him. Then it is that the outer mind lets go and becomes an Open Window for the Service of the Lord within. This is the Word of the Prince of Peace made known by the presence of a Comforter. So now we relax even more. Letting Him whom we love, share with us again the privilege of His Commission. This is the Word of the Prince of Peace and the consecration of the mind confirmed by His Daughter.


Arno van Haght — It's good to be with all of you in that peace. Now that our minds are centered in Center, it is easy to perceive the wonder of the commission that He has given us. I always thought when I read, “so that… the masses may be drawn”, at the right time you know, “into harmonization with the Focal Expression of Reality”—and I thought, “great, I've got a job to do. I must get them to do something.” Of course, when I approached the Lord on that subject, He said to me, “Listen, brother! The “masses” I'm referring to (for starters), is the mass of your flesh and the mass of your mind and heart—and then we'll worry later about all of those that you think are “out there”.” Our KING has a sense of humor! And so, the masses are not only the folks “out there”, although they include those. And it is actually quite a big job to do when you don't know the KING.


But actually, it is an easy Commission. And why? Because if our KING gives us a Commission, the victory in the accomplishment is already assured because He is that kind of a KING. It’s so good to be on the winning team. No wonder the Spirit of Truth declared that we can radiate love without concern, or thought, for results. And, in any case, we already know that His yoke is easy, and His burden is Light. So, no need for any heavy weather. I will invite Laura to read something that all of us here just truly enjoyed about our attitude towards the KING and His Commission. One of the reasons that we enjoyed it is that we always chuckle when we read this—because Uranda has such a wonderful sense of humor. For those of you that have had the opportunity, probably not to hear him in person, but certainly to hear the tapes, and to hear when he laughs, it is as though it fills your entire heart. But he had this wonderful, practical, and humorous way, in fact, of talking about our Commission, and I'll have Laura just share that with us. We both found this delightful.





Laura Malan — from Meeting My King by Uranda, August 14, 1953


“If He gives a commission, as He has given one to me, for instance, it never occurs to me to waste any time wondering, "Do you suppose it can be done?" If the King said to do it, well then we just do it. That is all. And no ifs, maybes about it. We just do it. How? Well then, that is our business; it is my business. Do you think He tells me every turn to make? No, if He gives a commission it is given, and then, in this instance, it is my business. If someone thinks that he or she would have done it in some other way, probably that person doesn't know anything about nine-tenths of the factors involved. But when it comes down to it, it is my business, a commission, a job to do. So we do not question and say among ourselves, "Do you suppose it can be done?"—argue the thing pro and con. We don't have that kind of a king. We would not have a commission unless it could be done. And for those who know Him truly there is just simply never any thought of possibly disobeying Him. He doesn't make life miserable, setting up a lot of dos and don'ts, trying to tell you how to turn around, what to do on every occasion. No, His commands are simple, His expectations just; and if we really know Him it simply never occurs to us that we might disobey. Disobey? What would that be, to disappoint Him? Well, for myself, I would rather cease to be for the rest of eternity than to disappoint Him. No. Some of you have seen it put to the test. There is never any question that enters the minds of those who know Him, "I wonder if I can get out of it? Do you suppose I just have to do that? I don't want to do that, but I guess I'll have to; it's my duty. I'm serving the King, so it's my duty now; I'll have to go out and do that, but I'd rather not." No, any person who talks like that has not come to know Him, because if we know Him there isn't anything that we would rather do than what He wants us to. It doesn't make any difference…


“We do not try to express our individuality in the sense of arguing with the King. If He gives a commission, well then that is the commission, and it is not a matter of "I'd rather do that"; because if it were, you would not have the commission. And as long as you have a case of "I'd rathers," you will never have a real commission. You may begin to move toward it, but one of the most devastating things is a peculiar disease that tends to show up around the borders of the kingdom—you know, sort of a no-man's-land there where you are coming across the border. People very often get an attack of "I'd rathers." "I'd rather do that, I'd rather do the other, I'd rather do something else." It is a funny thing, there is an absolute quarantine at the border, and those who have "I'd rathers" cannot get in. It is an absolute quarantine, and anyone afflicted with "I'd rathers" has to stay out until he gets well—or dies, and then he stays out of course.


“Once we begin to be citizens of the kingdom, servants of the King, there is just one thing. We have found that the greatest pleasure that we can know, the deepest satisfaction, the highest ecstasy, the greatest fulfilment, comes as we serve with Him—not against Him. And if you think He doesn't give us plenty of chance to exercise all of our capacities and to prove ourselves as individuals you are very wrong. No, He doesn't try to think for us, He doesn't try to act for us. He gives us a chance to be and to do if we are ready—if we are ready.” [greatcosmicstory.blogspot.com/2021/05/meeting-my-king.html]


Here is the privilege of freedom when I accept my identity in Him. And because I, we, do that together wholeheartedly, we are automatically citizens of the Kingdom of the Greatest KING, having the greatest Commission, where victory is assured, and the joy of creative expression in the ongoing amplification and magnification of His Presence and power and majesty is a never-ending experience of fulfilment. I certainly know and confirm the Truth of that!


Arno van Haght — “I’d rathers”. We loved that. We know it every day, “We'd rather do this; and we'd rather do that”. And there are probably many other things we could do tonight. But we're here! The Truth of our KING is compelling. And yes, Laura, and Uranda, and to the KING, we are ready. The Spirit and the Bride say come. We are ready to receive the KING more deeply. Now. In right attitude. We accept that Commission because we would not disappoint him. We also don't have to worry about the Plan or our position in it. The world is full of a disease called “positionitis”—about who's more important than whom. But in the government of God, the Government that rests upon the Prince of Peace’s shoulders, we understand how we should come to the KING—and the Purpose. And we are confident in the Plan that He has. We can rest in that. We can. Martin shared the Word of Life in a service from May 31, 1987—and he speaks of what we are to bring to the KING that actually helps us to fulfill this Commission. I will ask Mia to read from that transcript, and have us experience that as well.





Mia Euvrard — from I Have Chosen You to Be My Body


“I bring the radiance of the love of my King. As the substance which you bring resonates with this, then we share the unified radiation of the love of our King.


“These particular words have meaning to us: “Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you.” That choice is revealed to the extent that there is substance within one’s own heart and mind to resonate with the radiance of love. “Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, that you may be my body. I live, so my body lives.” Here are the words of the King. “I have chosen you to be my body.” Those in whom the substance of mind and heart is free enough to resonate with the love of the King compose His body.


“You who are present here this morning bring your substance of mind and heart with you, presumably to offer this to the King. This is the only reason for our presence together in this setting, representing, no doubt, others in other places who also bring the substance of their minds and their hearts to the King. We are the ones who participate in this particular evidence of His body. We may say, “My mind, my heart, my body are here because they heard the King’s command.” In all honesty we would never deny that, because if we do, we deny the King.


“Body, mind, and heart are brought in response to the radiation of the love of our King. And it is the substance of our love, present in mind and heart, that brought us. With this awareness it is so easy to be deeply thankful. If as human beings we still imagine that we are in command and can do as we please, come or not come, we simply fool ourselves and deny the King. So we share this unifying experience to the extent that there is a willing, open acknowledgment that we come because the love of our King has drawn us. And we come to compose His body on earth. And so, we come, I come, to better understand our role as members of what was called the Council of Reality in His Government where the unreal has no representation, as Uranda indicated 1946. We get to understand how we were chosen, and about our Commission, as we accept it. And it is easy to accept this Commission, His Command, because the way the job gets done is no struggle or cause for confused minds to work it all out. We remember that we are His Body. There is the purpose—and the role, and the thinking, and the direction, and the clarity. And then we each have our own unique ways to freely express His thinking, His feeling, His action. That yoke is truly easy. And the burden is Light.


Arno van Haght — Wow! It is so good to be together with all of you, celebrating the rich legacy of the Word as it has been made available to us, over all this time, and yet it is fresh. It's inspiring! And it's reassuring! I am going to read portions of a transcript by Martin titled, I Am The Gate, from January 18, 1981 [greatcosmicstory.blogspot.com/2020/06/i-am-gate-martin-cecil-january-18-1981.html]; and also a few more sentences from Meeting My King, by Uranda.  Martin said, “The sons and daughters of God are incarnate on Earth, in human form. There would be no human beings on the face of the earth if it were not so. The Spirit of God moves upon the face of the waters of human consciousness. The creative word is spoken, “Let there be Light.”





And here we are! We are those lights, aren't we? We’re confirmed Bearers of Light. We accept that in Absolute Identity, declared by us because we love Love’s Command. Why else would you be here? Why else would I be here? And we love Loves Command, because Love is the positive beginning of all Creative Action and the fulfillment thereof as well. And Martin continues, “This movement of the Spirit affects human consciousness so that human beings react in various ways, yet unconscious of what it is that really causes them to do what they do.”


Thank the Lord for that!—because the mind is usually in the way of Spirit. But it cannot be! Because this is the answer, the creative solution, to the challenge that Martin speaks of. He refers to the human mind as the “state of darkness that has developed a considerable state of self-satisfaction … as to the brilliance of its own capability, and then the sons and daughters of God are denied the opportunity.” But he goes on to say, “The sons and daughters of God are incarnate.” Perfect! We are here—no problem! We are that solution! Because the Lord is that kind of a genius when it comes to the restoration of His own Kingdom, to Himself.


“And the consciousness of man”, Martin says, “is designed to permit the consciousness of the son and daughter of God to be present on Earth. As there are those who begin to become aware of this”—and then here's the beautiful part: he says, “it is found that as the sons and daughters of God recognize each other, at least they do so to the extent that this is emerged in their own consciousness, we discover friends.” All of you—we are not alone! “Discovering friends, we also discover that we are together, and we have a purpose.”


Thank you to all of you who create this forum for us to come and understand and really enjoy the Purpose. Thank you, David, for articulating it; thank you, Bill, and all of you in Atlanta who pulled this together over a long period of time—for all the work that you've done to create an opportunity for the Friends of the Lord to be together.


And then says Martin, “There begins to be a new perspective and a new understanding and consciousness, because of the changed position.” Because of the changed position. “But what is the changed position?” He says, “It simply is the coming forth of the incarnate son or daughter of God”. And here we are. “So coming into position, there is the dissolution of that old human usurper, that sleazy character,” says Martin, “who has been occupying most of the space in Human Consciousness.”


So this is how the deceiver and the accuser is then cast out of heaven, the heaven of our consciousness. And then meaning emerges. Just in case, John Gray, you thought we didn't pay attention to Martin's words you read the last time we were together—here we are! having released in our consciousness today, that Word from Martin, where he was asking us to let go of the deceiver and the accuser, so we could come and be in His Temple and receive that commission anew, afresh. And here we are. And now the meaning emerges.


Says Martin, “Meaning on earth is absolutely dependent upon the son or the daughter of God, if our human consciousness is willing, willing to let go of all its fancy ideas, and to accept the fact that in and of itself, it is nothing.” Nothing! Then the meaning arrives. “The son, or the daughter of God revealed on Earth, in flesh bodies of human beings.”


But it wouldn't be Martin if he wasn't speaking about from “Victory, unto Victory”. And he carries on in the service. He says, “The kingdom comes because of people, people who finally have allowed the sons and daughters of God to be incarnate in expression on Earth, once again. And here we are. “The Word, the creative Word of the Lord is spoken in living, and the creative results appear.” And here we are.


“There is a marvelous world out there filled with sunshine. Be in the true position and you will have that perspective. How about choosing to be at the point where we belong? Here is the expanse of which we need to be aware of, the expanse which reveals the Kingdom. It reveals the Kingdom to the one who is standing in the right position.


“Coming back into position, a position where the son or the daughter of God in the human consciousness is filled with the son, or the daughter of God. That's me!” Well, that's what Martin said. He said, “That's me!” And that is us. “I am the Gate. This is my world. I am responsible for this world. And each one needs to be in position to say that and to act accordingly from that position. And immediately, the world begins to be restored.”


As I read that earlier today, I had a moment of panic. And then I remembered— because it's a big job for a small mind—and then I remembered: Don't panic! Because in that service that Laura read, 'Meeting my King', Uranda concludes with a reassurance about not getting ahead of myself, and not getting ahead of ourselves. He says “As we truly serve together, here on Earth, serving our Lord and King, no matter what the limitation, no matter what seems to be against us, we know that it will be done.” We know that it will be done. But here was the kicker: Because those of us who have accepted the identity, those of us who love the Lord, those of us who accepted citizenship of his Kingdom, “We”, says Uranda, “can afford to wait.” We can afford to wait.


“Of course, we have plenty to do” says Uranda, “but it doesn't have to be done just so today. If someone has not learned the lesson”—maybe me—“let them suffer it out a little more.” Just keep the Radiance moving. Keep the Light shining. “Let it stir a little. Perhaps they will wake up. But we can wait. The human being in self activity, of course cannot, he cannot afford to wait. So he tries to rush things, but you cannot rush heaven, and you cannot rush my King. It will not work. But there are plenty of things to do, to be received by you”—by me, by us—“and by all will become worthy, dependable, and loyal citizens of His Kingdom.”


The Prince of Peace, our KING of Glory, has spoken today because you are here. These are not the words of Arno and Mia and Laura. They are also not just the words of Uranda and Martin. These are the words of the Lord because you are in His Holy Temple. It resonates through you, it comes through us. This has been a work of joy for Laura, Mia and myself, David and Anne, and all of you who were presented before the LORD, before we came to this time. The Prince of Peace, the KING of Glory has indeed spoken. The Truth of his Radiance is once again the reality, as I, as we, let it be so.


I would ask David, to provide some thoughts in the current of the radiance of reality at this time.


David Barnes — I am so glad to say “Yes”, and thank you for the opportunity Arno, to express my great pleasure at what we experience today, being in this company, listening deeply, entering into the rich quality of substance that you three have focalized in our midst. It has truly been a radiant service, filled with sunshine. Here in B.C. when the sunshine pours forth it is such a pleasure to notice the sound, the light, the colors, the vibrancy, the living reality of Heaven on earth; and it is easy to forget the man-made chaos—which most people allow to claw at their consciousness and experience. I’ve made it my mission within the Commission to not let that chaos claw at my heart and mind, but to maintain and embody this heavenly reality—what the Master Jesus called the Gospel of His Kingdom, that the Kingdom of Heaven is right here now, and you can know it. Long ago I yearned to discover the fullness of that reality—and here it is, a living experience. There is sunshine in it, and the chaos of the man-made creation is required to stay outside the Gate of this beautiful Kingdom of heavenly reality that I know, and that we share so fully with you three this morning. It is worth noting Arno, that you and I haven’t spoken for eighteen years, until a month ago. I’ve never spoken with, and didn’t know Laura until a month ago. I’ve known Mia for many years but we haven’t talked until a month ago. So this that I share with you is very new, and yet obviously we are all in the same heavenly reality that we all love and know. How delightful! How assured we can be today that there many friends in the heavenly reality that we can welcome, and we can share their unique Voice and Spirit, which is all part of the One Spirit of the government of the Kingdom of Heaven on earth. Kingdom implies government, control, something absolute, something beautiful to acknowledge—and this is an aspect of what these Temple services are about. You have carried us forward in a significant new way. Thank that LORD, and thank you so much for the rich sharing in Heaven that we experience today.


Arno van Haght — Thank you, David. What a Blessed Assurance this time has been. The desire of the KING is that this may be—this may be—the generation, we may be the generation, of them that seek Him, that seek His Face, that his Glorious Work may be accomplished. May we know Him more and more, moment by moment, experiencing His Peace, resting in His Presence, and knowing the fulfillment of His Promise and Commission and through our living. I Am Light. I Am THAT I Am. Aum-en


We will obviously have some time together to share in the current of this generation. And we would be aware of each other. And each provide the space that the many voices in His Choir of Angels, who are so moved, have the opportunity to share in this space of yet another half hour being in heaven together.





Pamela Gray — Thank you Arno, Mia and Laura. I certainly would join my voice in appreciation for this time of radiant articulation and I want to thank you all for your individual expressions of that. Yes it was the Word of God coming through Uranda and Martin but it was coming through you, each one, because you owned it as daughters, as a son. Through you was such radiance and evidence of the Word made flesh and the Word of light, the light that was galvanized in this time together through your expression—but because of the shared agreement, the shared commission! I felt the window open and a piercing light moving out through this time into the darkness of the world of unreality, and the world comprehends it not, but we comprehend what’s going on and we know our commission. And we see one another—and that’s such a joy, to see angels, and to speak these things. Thank you!


Laura Fisher — It is truly joy beyond articulation to sit in a flesh Body and have this flesh body, together with others, speak the Word. This is the command. This is the change on earth. This is who we are. It is a joy to be with that I AM, in that restoration. Thank you.


Carol Travis — Arno, Mia and Laura, I do not know you from past acquaintance. I must say this is a very special joy for me to hear the articulation of the Lord, “in South African.” I lived there for a couple of years and it's dear to my heart. There is such an exquisite tone that you have brought today. One aspect of this multi-facetted jewel that I would like to acknowledge is the spirit of assurance, because in the light, being in the light, being the light together, there is assurance—and how desperately that is needed in the world today. So I am so grateful to you for what you have brought to us. Thank you.


Shirley Malin — I would like to offer my deepest thanksgiving as well. It’s been a beautiful time of passion, love for the KING which we all seem to share in, this same quality of spirit. And I think that it is absolutely exciting to feel the gathering of the elect from the four corners of the Heaven—because I would also acknowledge I have never met any of the three of you. I am excited to hear you speaking out—this voice, this loud voice with such a love for the world. If we were to listen to the news and human nature fabrications of all kinds of things going on in the world, we’d never find a connecting point, because you’re over there doing that thing, and we’re over there doing this thing. But we find ourselves together in heaven in a beautiful atmosphere of love and peace, tranquillity—and you so beautifully brought that to focus today for all of us. So I just want to offer you my love my thanksgiving. It’s been beautiful!


Linda Bahan — I am compelled to tell the three of you how much I loved this hour. I felt bathed in your light. And of course I heard comforting tones of home, because the earth is our home for which we are responsible. My earthly being originated in the earth where you live today and so through your beautiful expressions of yourselves, I heard the multi-tones of that beautiful land where my earthly form originated. We would lift it up as you said—and if I be lifted up I will draw all people unto to me. And that’s what you three did for us today, because we were drawn up into your beautiful essences. So thank you so much for this radiant hour.


John Albright — I would say that I celebrate these words today. It’s just a beautiful expression. My own deepest and most powerful experience of tranquillity came in the most chaotic of times. Just a very deep experience years ago, several years ago. I saw it then as an opportunity to really deepen this whole expression of my own and to receive this dominion of spirit that really penetrated then in a way that was unmistakable. I truly believe that at that point the deepest experience came in this just incredibly chaotic time—and aren’t we living in a chaotic time in the world today? So I see this as call for me, and for all of us, to stay in position because the chaos is going to deepen in the world, and yet we know, we truly know, when this radiation of Love lands in our lap, to just receive it and to respond to that—and to also be this radiation in our world. It’s given to me in such a clear, clear perspective and just a deep sense of how impactful that is in our lives. We don’t even know—I don’t even know the impact I have in my world, entirely, but I do know that I carry this with me. and I carry this increasingly more often you might say, and it has incredible impact in the world—and to not deny that and to not minimize that in anyway. So I’ve really appreciated your words today, because it really brought to light again this tranquillity in my heart, that the Lord brings whenever we want to receive it—it’s just there whenever we want to receive. So I thank you for that.


Suzanne Core — Arno, Mia and Laura, I want to thank you too for services that you chose to share with us today. A few weeks ago, I think it was Don Hynes who spoke of an apex service. I was thinking as you all spoke and read that you had chosen apex services. To me those are the services that carry a particular impact, in a particular area perhaps, or maybe a particular theme, that goes straight into the core of one’s being and stays there. 'Meeting My King'. I chose you. Ye are the light of the world. My list of personal apex services grows, and these are among them. As Pamela said, you took them and made them your own and shared them with us, making them ours. The threads of light have created a beautiful light quilt today, that goes out into the earth. I have never met any of you and yet I know you all, and I am proud to call you friends. Thank you for the beautiful sacred space you have helped us all create and share today. It’s just been lovely.


Arno van Haght — What a joy to receive on behalf of the KING—our joy in Him through all of you. There are still a few more minutes and although the service is due to complete our time together in about 10 minutes, it would be good if there’s anyone else who would like to share and celebrate in the time we’ve all had together—for your voices to be heard. If not then let those be five minutes of silence before we move over to Steve, who’s been looking after us for all this time. The floor is still open.


Anita Albright — I too really appreciate what you three brought. But the biggest thing that I found was that frequency of radiation and current that I could feel within myself, and connecting with each one of you. It was so powerful and it was real. You know I’ve been doing a lot of stuff for the last 20 or 25 years, and not connected with the emissary ‘whatever’—but I’ve been living it. I haven’t been able to duplicate that currency, the vibratory currency. It’s like a big cable of love. And we each have this cable or thread, whatever you want to say—but didn’t you all feel it? Wasn’t it so wonderful to be in that light and the vibration of light together. I love this, and I loved what I experienced today and I think you all do too.


Davina Misroch — This is Davina, and I would like to acknowledge the amount of preparation you made; the deep commitment of love and care to let these things come to focus in yourselves. It was potent, really potent—point after point, spot-on theme. Your’s is one of the few or many services I will watch again and again, because you brought to focus so many really key points that are necessary in the present chaotic world. We need some thing of counter-measure, if that’s the right word, of that level of potency that out-radiates the nonsense that’s going on out there. Not very well worded but I’m sure we grasp the essence of this. I really wanted to acknowledge what you guys did to make this service come to point for all of us. I don’t know why, but the thing that’s going round and round in my head is, “He’s not that kind of a KING”. I don’t know why but it’s just got me in rivers of internal tears. So thank you, it was exquisite, powerful. I have something up on my bedroom wall that says, “Turn your face to the sun and the shadows fall behind you,” This service has been turning my face to the sun and everything has fallen way behind me. Thank you.


Bill Bahan — I wanted to thank the three of you and David and Anne for our time together today. It’s really been a very potent time because I felt the spirit of assurance and knowing and absoluteness that was in the tone of what you shared with us today. The potency of the light you each shared—the radiance of your light with us, and we shared that with you, and together. That’s some thing very, very potent. The darkness of the world is nothing, but the light which we shine is everything. So I just love the spirit of absoluteness and what we’re about. Lovely to share this with all of you. Steve Ventola — I know, Mia and Laura and Arno, this was a tremendously powerful time.  And I think we all feel that in our hearts. The silence between those who spoke was potent and sacred—and as Davina, you were saying, rivers of tears have come across my eyes too, in terms of acknowledging our agreement, our presence. And what you cited, you three, on the step of Tranquillity, which brings Realization we know, and out of Realization comes Assurance—and we thank you for the spirit of assurance you shared—and as we know that … Steve stopped, bowed his head in silence of heart deeply moved … it breaks our heart from the world, to allow for our heart to really be available for our Commission in the love of our KING, responsive to His radiation. Let’s enfold what we shared. This was a powerful time and there will be powerful results. Let’s receive those results however they may come—however they might come—I am the light, I am light, as it’s been said. I think we could go on another half hour just being silent together; but then, we have our lives to live for the Glory of the LORD. Let this time be held sacred, and received moment by moment.
