The Roar Of The Christ Spirit

Do you think God has hunger? Does God have desire? If so, what would it be? It is the desire to enter the world. It is the hunger to be let into the human heart and to know and love human beings all the way through. It is the desire to be allowed to bring peace to the world and to create happiness and joy for human beings. It is the desire to bring healing.
Do you ever feel that hunger on behalf of the Creator? That deep, deep desire for the people around you and the world in which you live? This is another kind of hunger, not just the desire of the human soul. It is the hunger and desire of the Creator. Have you ever felt it? Perhaps as a deep wish for the well-being of the people close to you? Or as a profound desire for something far better for all humankind? That just might be the will of God that you have touched. It might have entered you, and you might have joined with it so you feel it too.
Have you ever been with another person and wanted peace and happiness for them so bad you didn’t know what to do? Or watched the morning news and thought, “Oh my God, I do not want that for this world. I’m hungry for something different.” Sometimes I experience that hunger as a power that wants to move through me into the world.
These are experiences we begin to have as we move over the threshold to an experience of Union and Unified Radiation. A different kind of hunger, will, and desire moves through us.
The lion is a symbol of the Christ Spirit. The lion’s presence, power, and majesty remind us of it. When Unified Radiation moves through us, perhaps we feel God’s hunger as the roar of a lion. The reverberation of the Christ Spirit moves through our being. This is the Cosmic Aum.
Here is how Paramahansa Yogananda described it: “God manifests in creation as the Cosmic Vibration, which expresses itself as Cosmic Sound and Cosmic Light. The Cosmic Sound or Aum is the synthesis of all the sounds of the highly vibrating life forces… The Cosmic Sound is spoken of in the Christian Bible as follows: ‘In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.’ [John 1:1] The Word or Aum came from God; He manifests as the Cosmic Vibration in creation.”
This is the roar of the Christ Spirit. Crossing the threshold, we speak with that roar, the reverberation of creative power resonating at many levels of our being. It is full of the Divine desire for peace for all people, all families, all nations, and for joy to the world. Knowing the hunger for this, we know that nothing less than this will satisfy it. No cigarette, no food, no drink, or anything else other than this. Peace on Earth and Goodwill for All.

Conscious Awareness Of Atomic Power

The beloved disciple, John, put it this way in the Book of Revelation: “I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet… And I turned to see the voice that spake with me.” [Revelation 1:10,12] John turned to face the source of the voice… If you open yourself to the “voice, as of a trumpet,” the vibration of it can enter you.
We live in a world where that tone has been sounding since time began. It’s the tone of Creation that is the power of Creation. Apparently, it has not stopped. We’re here. The world is here. The tremendous and awesome power of Creation is present… That power of the universe has constellated into a voice that speaks that power and the truth of it into the world through people who have awoken to it—people who have turned and heard the voice. They opened to it. They experienced it and then they spoke it.
I want to offer a way of looking at human history. It’s largely the story of human beings being unconsciously activated by this vibrational power of Creation. The power is at work in everybody’s atoms. Nobody’s exempt. Take the person you might consider to be the most evil person in the world. The atomic power is at work. In some cases, it’s driving them crazy. And so you might say they are crazy.
All human civilization has been activated by this power. In fact, there is nothing else by which to be activated. So people are activated by it, sometimes bouncing off the walls, not really knowing what direction to move. This is the great majority of human history, up to this very day. There is a gradual evolution of consciousness and culture as people react to the creative vibration they are feeling. They are in the world of effects being activated by the Creator.
Few there are who hear the vibration as it is constellating relative to human consciousness. So people don’t turn and they don’t let it in. The vibration of Creation contains the source code for a human being and for Planet Earth. It is the vibration of the Divine, the vibration of the Creator. When we let it in, we receive its power at a level that empowers our human soul. Letting it in, we receive the knowledge it contains for us. This is not the level of atomic power that fuels a nuclear reactor or an atomic bomb. It is a configuration of atomic power that renews and enlightens humankind. So, we become a human embodiment of the “voice as of a trumpet.” When we are, we become part of a lineage of awake human beings through the ages. We are no longer predominately living in the world of effects, being activated unconsciously by the vibration of the Creator. We have crossed the threshold to live in the world of Cause—the kingdom of heaven where the Creator is.
We turn, we hear the voice as a trumpet, and then we sound the trumpet. We are that trumpet in the world. And so we become part of a different kind of history, the history of Creation. We join that lineage. The creative vibration we touch into and express has an impact on human consciousness, unlike the unconscious reactions to the creative vibration that has characterized the history of human society for millennia. I am not diminishing the efforts of anybody or the significance of what is happening in our world at large. And still, everything changes when there are conscious people who sound the clear tone of the vibration of the Creator in the middle of it all.
That clear tone contains the truth for humankind. Not just the truth of Emissaries of Divine Light or Sunrise Ranch. Not a Christian truth, a Jewish truth, or an Islamic one. The vibration of the Creator heard and expressed by a human being, contains the truth of us all. This atomic power, configuring at the level of human awareness, is the Spirit of God, the Spirit of the Creator, at work in human experience. Let us give voice to that Spirit. Let us be that voice as of a trumpet.

That Mighty Reservoir Of Eternal Power

We remember that, at the time of Pentecost, the record states that they were all with One Accord in One Place, about one hundred and twenty people; and they had been devoting themselves to prayer and meditation for a period of ten days, to achieve that Unity of the Vibrational Pattern which finally developed. And when they reached a point of Being with One Accord in One Place, vibrationally, there came a Sound as of a Mighty Rushing Wind, and it filled the Whole House where they were sitting. There came a Sound as of a Mighty Rushing Wind and filled the Whole House where they were sitting, and there sat on them as if it were cloven tongues of Fire. When we reach that point of Attunement with the Cosmic Forces of Being which permits a True Centering in the Spirit of God there is always some experience which more-or-less correlates with that which was experienced at the day of Pentecost.
In the ancient writings of various parts of the world there is recognition of the Aum, for instance, and then there is recognition in various ways of what is called the Music of the Spheres — all touching into the same thing. This particular experience of letting the Divine Current flow freely is something that is really indescribable, and any consideration of it, of course, moves into the realm of Holy Ground, the most sacred of things. It is a little difficult to say anything much about it without touching into the field of some personal experience or other, and that has its drawbacks. A personal experience is just that — personal — and the details involved will vary from person to person, from time to time, or from group to group, as the case may be. I do not think there is a better way to describe one aspect of it, at least, than the Sound of a Rushing Mighty Wind. But it is not a Sound that you hear with the outer ears — this Sound fills the Body. One has a consciousness of it from within Oneself.
Perhaps we do not need to go further into that for the moment, except to point out that only to the degree that we, individually and collectively, share Attunement in that Mighty Reservoir of Eternal Power can we truly, effectively, serve. The relationship of all of this to our present problem can be seen in the fact that we are beginning to let an increased Current of Power manifest.
But there has not as yet developed a Central Solid Pattern or Core of personal understanding, realization, centering, with respect to it. So the whole matter appears on the basis of the fact that we are building something. Something that is not yet manifest is appearing, and when that process is taking place someone has to take the central strain or responsibility of developing a Control Pattern. That is naturally my responsibility, and I am not in the slightest degree objecting to it; but the more rapidly you gain an understanding of what is involved, and your personal relationship to it, the more rapidly will you share in the greater manifestation of God’s Power working through you, and the more quickly will you reach the point where, because of sharing in a Core or Solid Unit Pattern, you will not be under the necessity of facing unnatural, or in the ultimate sense unnecessary, stresses and strains yourself.
