Transform  the  Pneumaplasmic  Body  of  the  World

There is something I wish to draw to your attention in relationship to the pneumaplasmic body. We have in our diagrams illustrated this point—with the human being at center and the pneumaplasm all around. There is more to a human being than a little circle like that. The human being is a very complicated organism. You are studying in your anatomy class some of the physical factors, and certainly you will have the realization that we are fearfully and wonderfully made. All right, in just the same way, do not assume that this pattern of pneumaplasm around here is just some sort of undifferentiated fluid, any more than the body is. It has within it the patterns that are coming from God through the action of the Christ spirit upon the pneumaplasmic substance. Because the human concept with respect to spirit has been so vague, the idea may have developed that the pneumaplasmic substance is something that is not differentiated.





We might take note of the fact that there is form on every level of being. There is form in spirit. Insofar as we are concerned, in relationship to our recognition of form out here, it is not form; but where there is function at the level of spirit it is form. That which is form to us is form simply because it is manifesting at the level where we are, but there is form at every level of being. When we realize that man was created in the image and likeness of God, and we find in man a very complicated organism, then we recognize that there are complicated patterns in Deity. It is not just some vague radiance, but is of a nature that allows the establishment in pneumaplasm of definite patterns. Uranda mentioned the silver cord, and indicated that it was a focalization of pneumaplasm—a specific focalization of pneumaplasm, designed to accomplish a specific purpose, and to provide the central connecting link between spirit and the form of the physical body. It is composed of pneumaplasm, but it is focalized into a specific form for a specific purpose. We find the same principles operating all the way through, so that the patterns in pneumaplasm are just as complicated as the patterns we find in the physical body itself. We need to make sure that we do not have this usual human concept with respect to things that are invisible: that somehow or other it is just a vague, undifferentiated spiritual substance. It is not.


The substance itself is of a certain nature, but when it is focalized into definite patterns, it takes on the nature that is required in relationship to the patterns that are focalized, in just the same way that, as you have been studying, in the physical body, there is tissue—but there are bones and organs and skin, hair, etc. All different kinds of organs are produced by living tissue; so also in pneumaplasm. And we recognize that pneumaplasm is generated from physical substance—it is not a spiritual projection. Pneumaplasm is generated out of physical substance. In other words the generation of pneumaplasm is in this direction—outward from physical substance. I don't mean that simply from the standpoint of outward from the physical body. There is lots of substance inside the physical body, and pneumaplasm is generated outward from every point of physical substance; every cell, shall we say, is generating pneumaplasm in all directions, so it is all throughout the physical body, even though it does extend beyond the physical body. But the generation itself is outward from the physical substance, therefore what we might call the depth of pneumaplasm—and again, we are speaking of it not in the sense of physical depth, not something you can measure with a yardstick, but depth in relationship to spirit, in the direction of spirit. We could say inwards, but then again we do not necessarily mean inside the body—the depth of the pneumaplasm is determined by the extent of its generation from and through the physical body.


Now if the individual is subject to all the ill patterns that are present in this fallen world, so that the pneumaplasmic layer which is closest to the individual, closest to the external expression, is continually muddied up and distorted, then there is a very small layer beyond that point which can be acted upon effectively by the Christ Spirit; and we can see how it is that then the generation of pneumaplasm diminishes to such an extent that, consequent upon the draining away of the substance in the wrong expression of life, this periphery of the pneumaplasm will gradually shrink and become smaller and smaller.





And as it becomes smaller the proportion of the pneumaplasm that is affected by the distortions becomes larger in relationship to the whole of the pneumaplasm that is present at the particular moment. We can only affect a very small layer here. And if the pneumaplasm reaches out to here there is a very large scope of pneumaplasm upon which and in which the Christ Spirit can work and act. But as there is a draining away of the pneumaplasm, as there is a cessation of generation, this periphery shrinks in, and when it comes down in here, well there is less than half of it, on the scale I have drawn there, that is capable of being acted upon by the Christ Spirit, and it is not surprising then that under those conditions the individual finds that he has very much less life. So there are these various factors which we need to recognize in relationship to this consideration with respect to pneumaplasm.


Let us turn now to the group, rather than the individual. As long as humanity continues to live on earth there will be a pneumaplasmic body for humanity as a whole. As soon as that pneumaplasmic body no longer exists there is no more life in humanity and there is no more humanity. So there is this body which includes everyone, and it is through the working of the influences of the wrong kinds of spirits in this body that we have such a confused and chaotic condition made manifest in the world as it now is, and as it has been for a long time.


We could use this illustration and consider that this central circle is the world body of humanity which is contained in a pneumaplasmic body, a pneumaplasmic body the underside of which is very thoroughly disrupted with all kinds of distorted patterns generated by man. As long as we remain under the control of the mass pneumaplasmic body we are of no value to God. The mass pneumaplasmic body is maintained in relationship to human beings through their subjection to it. We find that when we are a part of that mass we function in the way that is established on the basis of the patterns of that mass body.


We may move from one place to another; we may come out of one specific pattern in one specific place and we may move to another country or to another place and come into another aspect of this pneumaplasmic body, which includes all of humanity. But it is all a part of that one pneumaplasmic body and we can move around in it as much as we like, we can change position in it so as to endeavor to find some place in which we feel we belong more particularly, but moving around within the scope of the pneumaplasmic body that is established for the whole of humanity accomplishes nothing actually—we are still within the scope of the control of this as a whole. We can see clearly in this consideration of the whole how it is that there are many differentiated patterns in the pneumaplasmic body. We have only to look around the world from country to country, within countries, within communities, within families, to find differentiations in the pattern of the mass pneumaplasmic body, which illustrates something, although it is on the wrong basis, something that is produced by man, of the complicated patterns that are in the individual pneumaplasmic body.


So we have this mass pneumaplasmic body, and as long as we are in it, as long as that is our control, the basis of control in our lives, we are accomplishing nothing, no matter how hard we try—that is, nothing insofar as God is concerned. No matter how hard we try, struggle and strive, we are just a part of this fallen body of mankind which is controlled through the distortions in its own pneumaplasmic body. As long as we share in that we will be controlled by the distortions in that body.





I don't know whether you have ever found yourself in a crowd of people, at perhaps a political meeting, and there was some particularly vehement orator present who was whipping up the emotions and producing a pattern of control in relationship to the pneumaplasmic body of that group of human beings. If you have been in such a position, either there or maybe in some religious pattern or other, you know that it is difficult not to move with the crowd. It is far easier for a demagogue to control a crowd than to control the individual human being, because of this mass pneumaplasmic body—working through that, appealing to the distortions that are present in that body one way or another, and engendering feeling in relationship to those distortions. The individuals become thoroughly subject to that group pneumaplasmic body and on that basis you have lynchings and one thing and another. Human beings do things that they would never do individually. There is an illustration of the manner in which human beings are controlled through the group or mass pneumaplasmic body. That is something that is happening all the time insofar as it relates to the whole body of humanity, because all people are in it and it is being manipulated one way or another all the time. Human beings conceive themselves to be independent of course, but in fact they are being swayed and moved according to the extent of the pressure or the control that is exerted through that mass pneumaplasmic body. Well, as long as we remain in it we are going to be moved this way and that. We may not like it in one particular part of that pattern so we move to some other, but we are still in the pattern.


Our problem, then, insofar as this ministry is concerned, is to draw human beings out from under that pneumaplasmic blanket which covers the whole human race. Once we begin to accomplish this end with an adequate group we have something outside of this pattern, something which can then begin to act in relationship to the pneumaplasmic body of mankind, something that can begin to establish a control on the right basis in relationship to that pneumaplasmic body. Here we see that it is quite possible to accomplish the task to which our hand is set in the name of our King, without a very great number of human beings. Your physical body moves and acts, functions, through the control which is focalized primarily in the head, in a very small geographical area so to speak, including a very limited amount of substance, and the whole human body, your individual body, moves on the basis of the control that is thus exerted. We can see that the same principle may operate in relationship to the whole body of mankind.


When we have a service there is the necessity of functioning in harmony with these principles so that there is the coming together outside of the controls established by the mass pneumaplasmic body, so that the pneumaplasmic body of the group may be acted upon by the spirit of God, so as to establish the controls and the patterns that derive from the spirit of God. The individuals concerned then share in that enfolding pneumaplasmic body which is under the control of the spirit of God, and to the degree that they stay in it, a part of it, and do not violate the principles of reality, so that there are no reactionary attitudes or currents appearing later, it will be maintained and we begin to have the basis for the restoration of a focalization of human beings into the pattern according to the Divine Design.


As that focalization develops and grows under the influence and the control of the established pneumaplasmic body, then we begin to have that which can act in relationship to the pneumaplasmic body of the world of humanity, something that can begin to establish a control there on the right basis—because all human beings are under the control on the wrong basis now. It is not as though they were going to be brought under control in fact; it is that they are to be brought under the right control—for the mass pneumaplasmic body provides the basis for the control that is exercised in relationship to human beings the world around, whether they realize it or not. So it is not a matter of trying to get human beings to come under control.  It is a matter of so functioning that we have the facilities here on earth with which to act in relationship to the already established pneumaplasmic body of the world of mankind so as to change the pattern of control in relationship to human beings in general. And in this process it does not require everyone on the face of the earth to realize what is happening. They do not realize what is happening now with respect to the wrong control patterns that are established.


There are those who are very cognizant of the fact that they are under some sort of evil human control—many millions of people in the world are in that condition—but most of the people in North America, for instance, are very little aware of it. There is the consideration that it is a free country. Oh yes, there are freedoms, and we rejoice in such freedoms as there are, but human beings are controlled and moved and influenced all the time, constantly, by the mass pneumaplasmic body. It is obvious when you stop to examine it. And that control and influence that is now exerted in relationship to humanity as a whole is not very constructive. We can observe that too. It is well that there should be a change in that regard, to the point where the truly constructive patterns of control might be established by God on the basis of the influence that is exerted upon the world pneumaplasmic body. But it cannot be so exerted until there are those who have come out from under its control. As long as human beings let themselves be drawn out for a little while and then go dodging back in again as soon as the group focalization is relaxed, we have nothing, we can accomplish nothing.


We accomplish something to the degree that you come together into agreement,

with one accord in one place.





For instance, now, something is accomplished to the degree that you are letting it be so, to the degree that you are thereby letting the influence of the spirit of God act upon your group pneumaplasmic body. But if there is a scattering, there begins to be a reaction to this, that and the other thing, and the individual stirs up the underside of his own individual pneumaplasmic body again, immediately he has correlating points with the world pneumaplasmic body and he is back in it, and we have no means of providing that pattern of influence and control. In the blueprint in Revelation it indicates the necessity for 144,000—the essential pattern of control can then operate in relationship to the world body of humanity through the pneumaplasmic body of the mass—but it requires the 144,000. That is a very small percentage of the total population of the world!


The development of the point of that 144,000 is a comparatively easy thing once we have the establishment of that which is providing a group pneumaplasmic body outside of the world pneumaplasmic body—something that we have as yet not accomplished. It appears for a few moments sometimes, to a certain degree at least, and then tends to be dissipated, and the individuals come back and begin to function on the basis of the old controls that operate through the mass pneumaplasmic body, and then we have nothing outside of it. Until we have something outside of it we cannot act on it.


Here we see some of the basic principles which relate to our ministry, relate to the accomplishment of the greater works, so that we may let ourselves be drawn out of the mass pattern because we allow the underside of our individual pneumaplasmic bodies to be cleared so that there are no correlating points there with the mass pneumaplasmic body—but simply, it is open wide to correlate with the Christ Spirit which is coming from God. When that is so, God has the beginning point, the starting point whereby He may accomplish that which is needful in the world.
