Wheels  Within  Wheels

All creative processes work out on the basis of creative triangles. It is impossible to establish a true creative process without a control pattern in a creative field. All creative fields are established upon the basis of the creative triangle. Every creative triangle works in a creative cycle. A true cycle is never a circle, but moves on the basis of a spiral, ever upward, so that, coming back to the point of the completion of what would be a circle, the position is on the next level upward. You can visualize it in relationship to an ordinary coil spring, and it goes around and up, moving from the bottom toward the top. Every spiral properly carries one to a higher level, but the vibrational spirals are distinguished from the coil spring in the fact that you do not leave the point where you are to move upward in the spiral. The vibrational levels are all contained in the given point where you are.

Broadly speaking, there are seven vibrational levels. These are subdivided, and we will not immediately consider the subdivisions. However, the subdivisions are carried out on the basis of exactly the same patterns and the same principles which are involved in relationship to the seven primary levels. We note these seven primary levels in relationship to the original process of creation, in relationship to the seven days. We note that the seven days of creation were not twenty-four-hour days. This is clearly indicated by the fact that the Lord told Adam and Eve: “But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.” Adam and Eve ate of the forbidden tree, or the fruit of it, and Adam lived to be nearly one thousand years old. “In the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die” — in the period of time, the cycle, the life span. From the standpoint of the first death we have to recognize that in the instant they ate thereof they died. All of you have experienced the first death. What is ordinarily thought of as death by human beings is the second death. The resurrection is from the first death, and it is impossible to resurrect the body after the second death. Therefore the resurrection, if it is to have meaning in the individual, must take place during the period of existence which is established between the first death and the second death, and it is in relationship to this process of resurrection that we need to have a basic understanding of the processes of re-creation.

We remember the divine statement which applies with respect to each and every one, with respect to each and every condition, with respect to your body, your mind and your heart, your circumstance: “Behold, I make all things new.” The process of making new is not a process of patching up; it is a process of actual re-creation. Our Master emphasized the vital importance of this point when He stated that the new wine of life must be put into the new bottles. An attempt to put the new wine, which is the symbol of life, into old bottles would cause the bottle to burst, and both wine and bottle would be lost. So, the bottle is used to symbolize your own body with its various capacities, particularly your mind, or intellectual, mental capacity, and your heart, or feeling or emotional capacity.

We remember the vision which Ezekiel saw, of wheels within wheels, having reference to cycles within cycles. Every creative triangle has within it other creative triangles; and, remembering that every creative triangle is established in relationship to a creative cycle, we see that the wheels within wheels of Ezekiel's vision have reference to these creative cycles within creative cycles. We have the creative cycle with respect to your whole body, which is symbolized by a bottle; but within that creative cycle we have other cycles relating to the heart and mind, the various parts of the body, every phase of life function.

The process of re-creation requires that all of these creative triangles which are contained within you, and their correlating creative cycles, shall be brought into the basic pattern under the One Law, perfectly centered or polarized in relationship to the overall creative cycle with its creative triangle as established in relationship to the whole of humanity. This creative triangle is of course established in relationship to a still larger creative triangle. It is not necessary for you to understand these larger creative triangles; but we see that there are many creative triangles with creative cycles in the solar system, all centered in relationship to the Sun, insofar as we are immediately concerned. We have, for instance, in relationship to our earth a creative triangle which has its apex in the Sun, one point in the moon, and the other point in the earth, established in relationship to the physical substance of our solar system. However, this creative triangle is contained within a larger one, where the apex is established in the universe. The beginning of the creative process by which this solar system was brought forth, and which functions in relationship to all the planets of this solar system, is seen as having its focal point of creative activity established in the point where the Sun now is; but when that creative triangle was first set up the sun did not exist, the form of it had not yet been established. Insofar as the physical substance of the cosmos is concerned the physical basis of this particular creative triangle was established from the constellation of Orion to the constellation of Pleiades as the base line, and from these two points in the universe the lines were drawn to the point in space where the beginning of the creative process should be established.

We do not particularly need to understand all of that from the standpoint of these present cycles, but I draw it to your attention so that you will be aware of the fact that we do have a specific relationship to the whole universe, and the creative triangles which are involved in relationship to our individual lives all have a relationship to this larger overall triangle which is established in relationship to our solar system, and out from our Sun in relationship to all of the planets — wheels within wheels, creative triangles. Should our time permit, and should there be any necessity, we could perhaps examine into some of these triangles at some time in the future, but I think you will recognize that you are not ready to make any detailed exploration at the present time.
