Your  Questions  Answered  #2

Uranda  1938

Uranda takes this method of answering certain of your important questions which are of vital import

to all the Earnest Ones who have chosen to Walk the Flaming Way

in Response to the Expression of Reality in the out-working Cosmic Plan.

Question — My niece was to have been married, and her friend died suddenly. She takes it very hard, and lies awake at night waiting for him to return. To my idea, Souls do not return, as when one dies the Soul of that person goes into a new-born babe. Am I wrong in this?

Uranda’s Answer — You are wrong in the idea that the Soul goes into a new-born babe upon leaving the body at death. All the ideas that are supposed to tell how long the God-Being waits between incarnations are absolutely false. The God-Self again incarnates when and as He can be most helpful in the out-working of the Cosmic Plan, and so render the greatest possible Service.

The God-Self is not subject to set periods of time, no matter what any may have taught on this subject. You are right in feeling that the Soul, or God-Self does not return to communicate with those who remain on earth—and all of the ideas of communion with “departed Spirits”, “Souls”, “Spirit Brothers”, and so-called “discarnate Masters”, are false. That which is seen, and thought to be the departed loved one, may be a thought-form. Sometimes, shortly after the passing of a loved one, a person contacts the thought-form which that person had created during life, and such an experience can be real, even to the extent of speaking and feeling. However, that thought-form soon dissolves and is no more. Then, under certain conditions, a thought-form of that person can be, so-to-speak, resurrected from the aura of the one remaining. This is what the genuine Spiritualists (meaning those who are not consciously promoting a fraud) do, and in some cases, as in so-called “materializations”, the thought-form is filled out with substance drawn from the “medium” and from the “circle”. But such a manifestation is never the person it is supposed to be. Information given under any such conditions is drawn from the person's own aura, even though he may never have consciously known such information before. The so-called “great mediums” are really “mind readers” who pick up vibrations from the radiations of the individuals present, and personalize those vibrations as much as the response of the person will permit. All such activity is utterly useless, and should be avoided. Let the Earnest One ignore all such things, and Respond in Love to his own Lord within, and in due season, if he wavers not, he will abide in Peace and in Understanding.

I would, also, point out that the incarnating God-Being is always present at the time of conception, and remains focalized in the forming body throughout the pre-natal period.

Question — If we are soul mates here and one dies, then will we know each other, or be permitted to see each other?

Uranda’s Answer — Much has been written and taught concerning so-called soul mates. Truly, “Fools rush in where Angels fear to tread.” If people would forget all they ever heard about soul mates they would be better off. There is a Cosmic Mate for each one, and in due season each will function with that Cosmic Mate. God-Beings who are Cosmic Mates always know each other and function with each other, whether incarnate or not. But this is the important point: No one can tell another whether or not his or her mate is or is not a soul mate, and anyone who attempts to tell of such things is guilty of falsehood. In rare instances human beings may become aware of such a Harmonization, but not more than one out of every hundred thousand of such supposed relationships has any foundation in fact. Let every married couple consider themselves to be true Mates in Oneness, and let them let all things work out in due season. Let no one be carried away with the idea that some person other than his or her present mate is a “soul mate,” for much sorrow and suffering has been born of such imaginings. Those who Respond in Truth will understand the Mystery of Cosmic Mates in due season.

Questions There is a question that has been in my mind for some time that I am going to ask you to make clear for me. I do not think it is a thing I have to know—perhaps it is meaningless speculation on my part—but I would like to know, and I shall never feel free of the question until I am satisfied I have the answer. It has to do with your message on The Astral Realm. If I can make my question clear, it is this: I understand that when the body dies it disintegrates and is “as if it had never been”. I also thoroughly believe that the Spirit that ascends is, and always was, perfect. But if a Spirit incarnates many times, is there no relation at all between incarnations? I mean, suppose in this life I learn many things (as I have) but do not fully ascend and my body dies. In my next incarnation is what I have learned of no help to me at all? Is there no, shall I say, mental life that persists to become a part of my next body so that I shall go on from where I left off this time? Or do I, as Spirit, simply take on an absolutely new mind as well as body with no connection at all with my former life; not having any benefit from former lives to help this particular body ascend. I have always felt that there was some connection, and that what I learned in one life carried over into the next. But, of course, I know the Spirit is perfect, birthless and deathless, eternally perfect. It cannot need to learn. Is there, then, a mental life that persists and gains experience, and forms part of every incarnation?

Uranda’s Answer — Truly it is a joy to behold the way in which my paper The Astral Realm, has given many a new opportunity to Relax into a new Vision and Realization. Rejoice. This question is so well put, and voices what so many are asking, that I would present a simple and complete answer for all who are willing to be received into the New Vision.

You are right in realizing that this point is not absolutely essential to full Release. The essential points I have given many times in many ways, and they all hinge around the One Great Truth: Love your Lord with your whole being, and let your Lord's Perfect Love pour out through you in blessing to your Brother Man in Rejoicing.

First I would ask a question. Would it not be logical to suppose that if a memory of what one “learned” in a past life were essential to the perfect expression of this life, the Creator would surely have caused such memory to be natural to all people. You will have to admit that that would be logical. We recognize that the Lord provides all that is essential to the greatest possible Release of Reality in each one, no matter who or where. We do not find such “memory” of past lives to be a natural thing to man. There must be a very good reason why human beings come into this life with a blank mind, and without any memory of anything past. There are a few rare instances which tend to indicate the possibility of such “memory.”

Question — Is the Release, or Ascension, of the Earnest One dependent upon “learning,” either past or present?

Uranda’s Answer — Obviously, if one should answer in the affirmative he would at once be confronted with the task of making “intellectual giants” of all the people of the world, and none can doubt that under the present process of life that would need “millions of years.” However, if one really recognizes that the Lord within already know all, the feeling of a need for much learning at once begins to vanish away; and in its place comes a sweet peace, out of which the Garden of Reality begins to grow—not by much learning, but by much loving is release experienced.

Question A question has been gradually taking form in my mind, something like this: “If that body which remains at the separation called death is scattered back into the soil ... and so into other human bodies”—yet, “all the body-substance which Ascends is never more subject to physical life and death,” what does become of that substance? That is, one who has Responded wholly to his Lord appears to have left his physical substance at death even as one who has by lack of Response repelled himself from his Lord, even unto extinction. Is it not so?

Uranda’s Answer — No, dear Sister, it is not so. That human being who has “Responded wholly to his Lord” does not leave any physical substance behind in so-called death, for such an one Ascends as did Enoch and Elijah. Anything that is left did not respond, no matter how good that person was. That which Ascends must do so during life with a final separation of the Ascending Atoms from those being left behind taking place at death of the body. That which Ascends, whether during life or at the time of passing, is received into the Inner Plane Reality which cannot be described in human language. The Bible speaks of such Ascended Substance as “stars in the crown”, or, as “a pillar in the house of God,” and in many other ways. It is enough that that which Ascends has been received into the Positive Phase of Heaven beyond all human limitation.

It may be helpfully interesting to know that the average good sincere, earnest person who truly lives the best he knows, and honestly Loves God and his Brother Man, allows, during a lifetime of “three score and ten years,” the Ascension of about as much physical substance as would be required to make three complete human bodies. This is only a broad generalization in order to give something of an illustration to those who need it. It must be recognized that there is a variation in every life, and none can say how much of any person's body has Ascended unless it all Ascends at the close of earth life—but even then there has been much that has been cast out of that person’s body as refuse during his life time. The important thing is for each one to live the Life of Love Response to the Lord and let the Father within take care of that which Ascends. That which does not Ascend will return to the soil of the earth, whether cast out day-by-day as refuse, or whether left behind at the separation of Atoms at the death of the physical body. The Lord of the Harvest will garner the wheat (Ascending Atoms) of the Harvest into His “barns,” or the Place of His Presence and Function. Our Great Master gave many illustrations in this regard which apply both to the world as a whole, and to the body-world of each and every human being.

Question — What becomes of the God-Being and also the human at death of a person who denies God and immortality?

Uranda’s Answer — The same thing that happens to any other unresponsive person. The one who so denies is not Responding to his Lord, and so he goes into the soil of the earth as refuse, and the God-Being goes into the Inner Planes just the same as any other God-Being. The sins of the human being never attach to the God-Being.

Question — Is it possible for this body to become so perfect as to Ascend with the God-Being, and have no atom of it return to the earth, and how long could such an one stay on this planet?

Uranda’s Answer — The body is in a constant state of flux, taking on and casting off atoms each day, and the Responding One may become so perfect in Love Response to his Lord that he is caused to Ascend, but up to the time of actual Ascension there would be a degree of casting off—and such a person could stay in manifest life as long as his Service in the earth might be needed, providing he remained in perfect Polarity of Being.

Question — In the dividing of the sheep from the goats, if some of our Loved Ones here on earth should not Respond, and should be removed from the earth, will their God Beings, who always function in Perfection, and who Ascend when separated from the body at death, have a part in the Spiritualization of the earth from the Inner Planes? For instance, if one who has had his greatest function in creating wars, unrest, turmoil, etc., in the earth, and is removed from the earth by death, does his God Being have a part in the establishment of the Christ Kingdom from the Inner Planes?

Uranda's Answer — The simple and complete answer is, Yes. To fully understand this answer requires a Realization of the fact that the God Being, or Immortal Self which leaves the body at death, was not responsible for the wrong acts of the human being, and is not in any way limited by such wrong acts—and so it is that all that leaves the body at death, and Ascends, is just as perfect as the God Being that Ascends from the body of a good person, and so has a part in the Cosmic Plan just as surely as if the wayward human body had never been born—and, also, you may be sure that there was a certain amount of Ascension from that body during the life span of the human being, so that life was not in vain. The God Being never sins, and is not in any way subject to evil; and so it is that the God Selves of your Loved Ones are even now working from the Inner Planes just as surely as any other, and in due season you will meet them as they are in Reality. Rejoice. This is true of all.

Question — If we are immortal now, what is the procedure so as not to have to go through death?

Uranda's Answer — Human beings are mortal, and any teacher that tries to delude human beings into thinking that they are really immortal now, is either ignorant or a willful deceiver. The God Self in each and every human being is Immortal, and no God Being ever dies; even though the human form becomes subject to death. The only way whereby the human form can Ascend, and so not be subject to death, is to Love his Lord within in a true and steadfast Response which causes him to Ascend during the life span of the human form—for that which dies does not Ascend. A fear of death will prevent such a Response. In other words, you are not to try to avoid death—you are to respond in Love to your Lord so that he may lift you up into Himself, and to the degree that you are absorbed into him, you will be a partaker with Him in His natural Immortality. Such Ascension takes place to a degree with every Earnest One, even though the remaining body is subject to death. A complete Ascension is not to be anticipated until after the world itself has undergone the resurrection into the New Age state.

Question — If we cannot look back on our past incarnations, how do you know that you functioned in Lemuria as Uranda?

Uranda's Answer — I have not, in any of my writings, indicated that it is impossible for one to know of one's past incarnations. However, I have pointed out that the vast majority of those who think that they are getting such information are being deluded. Those who try to find out about their past incarnations are always subject to delusions if they are at all successful in their attempts. Likewise, those who attempt to tell others of past incarnations through touching vibrations, and all the usual methods, are false; whether they realize it or not. When the outer-self has been lifted up into Oneness with the Inner Self, the Eternal Knowledge of the Inner Self is released out through the responsive One to the degree that such knowledge is truly needed—and such knowledge is never available to satisfy curiosity. The Inner Self, or Lord, has complete awareness of His own Eternal History, including all of His incarnations—and the Lord never goes to sleep nor any of the other supposed ways in which He is supposed to forget—therefore, to the degree that the outer-self is One With his Lord, the knowledge of the Lord is released through the outer consciousness to the degree of the need.

Insofar as these facts relate to me, I have nothing to say but this: If my Words reveal to you the Truth that is already within yourself, and you feel the Fire of the Christ Love drawing you into that Perfect State to which you were ordained, then may you well have confidence in them. If any cannot believe me for my work's sake, or for the sake of Him Who sent me, then surely there is nothing in me to cause him to believe in me.

Question — I would like to ask you why you don't use the Name Jesus Christ in conjunction with the Names, the Lord of the Sacred Seven, and the LORD of Lords and KING of Kings. It seems to me that your words would have more weight if you said, ‘Jesus Christ, Lord of the Sacred Seven.’ To me He means everything. To me Jesus Christ is very real. I love your lessons, but can't understand why the Name Jesus Christ is omitted. Please explain to me your reason for omitting His Name.

Uranda's Answer — To this I would reply: Blessed Sister, I can well understand how you feel in the matter—for our Great Master does not mean any more to you that He does to me. For all who wish to speak of Him as Jesus Christ, it is perfectly alright, and when you become more acquainted with my writings you will find that I have repeatedly mentioned the fact that the world knew the Lord of the Sacred Seven as Jesus. However, that was the Name by which He manifested in the earth for only thirty-three years, while I have known Him since the beginning of Creation by His Holy Name, LORD of the Sacred Seven. It is a matter of choice. The world uses the Name Jesus Christ without any true understanding of what it means—and so many take that name in vain; using it profanely, even as the world crucified Him. The world does not know Him by the Name, LORD of the Sacred Seven, and that Holy Name is not bandied on the lips of those who curse God and man. To me it means far more than the One the world saw—and those who are beginning to catch the Vision of Reality have, also, come to have a Holy Joy in the Name, LORD of the Sacred Seven, or LORD of Lords and KING of Kings—a Title by which I often speak of Him. Therefore, you see, I do not omit His Name, but, rather, am I helping many to become aware, not only of His Name, but of Him in His Reality. I love the Name by which He was known in the earth, and should you find that Name more pleasing to you, I Rejoice—and trust that the Names by which I speak and write of Him will now mean more to you.

Question — Why did Jesus utter these words on the cross, My God, my God, why hast Thou forsaken me? Did God really forsake Him at that time? Can God forsake any of us?

Uranda's Answer  To these questions I would answer: You will note that St. John, who was the only disciple who was present at the time Jesus became unconscious on the cross, does not make any mention of such as utterance; but John does say that Jesus said, “It is finished.” Jesus uttered His last words on the cross in Lemurian, or the Motherland tongue, while those present, besides John, understood only the Aramaic and Hebrew. Matthew gives the original as “Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani” and it is only natural that those who did not understand Lemurian, thought He was quoting the first verse of the 22nd Psalm. A nearly exact translation of Jesus’ Words, translating from the Lemurian, would be, “Relaxing into God, the darkness of the outer world covers the face of my Life.” These words John summed up as, “It is finished,” which is quite correct. It is evident that if Matthew had been certain of the meaning of Jesus’ last Words on the cross, he would not have felt it was necessary to give the original, as well as his own translation. Jesus did not say that God had forsaken Him, and, in Truth, God never forsakes anyone. Those who turn from God are the ones who forsake God.
