INTRODUCTION
Blessed One, in the Spirit of my Word which I silently speak to you through the printed word of these five Talks Beside the Sun-Dial, I offer you a share of the rare treasure I have found. Should you feel the longing urge to walk along the Way with others who have found the Garden, and who have come to rest with me beside the Sun-Dial, I would give you assurance that a word from you would be most welcome, that I may open before you the Door of the Third Sacred School. — URANDA
TALKS BESIDE THE SUN-DIAL — Number One
Welcome, beloved of the Lord, to the Garden of Peace. It is a joy to greet you here, for few have found this Sacred, Secret Place. Yes, this is the Gate through which all must enter, and only those who are ready can find it. Come, let us sit beside the Sun-Dial, for I would commune with you about the questions for which you have long and earnestly sought the answer. Before considering other thing's, let us relax into the Silence of this Sacred Place, and let the Vision be upon the Window of Heaven through which the Dove flies forth to find the Olive Leaf. In accordance with your response, so be it unto you, increased and multiplied until your life is filled to overflowing. So let it be.
Abide in patience. Think not upon the overflowing Harvest. Let your attention be upon the giving forth, for thus you plant the seed which shall reveal itself in the Harvest. Each moment is the Harvest. Each moment is the time of planting. In this present moment let no time be wasted in vain regret, for the brambles are a part of every Harvest until the New Earth shall be fully manifest. Let the tares and brambles be burned in the Fire of your Father's Love, and cling not to them, else they will wound you. The world thinks upon the evil harvest, and though torn and bleeding, it still holds its brambles tightly to its bosom. Forget the tares and let your Father burn them and, also, let Him receive the Wheat of your Harvest, that it may be gathered in, else you will have no Bread of Life wherewith to feed the hungry ones. In feeding the hungry ones, and giving drink to the thirsty ones, your planting for the coming Harvest is accomplished.
Give of that which you truly are to the living of your daily life, for as you give, so shall the increase be given unto you. Day by day you receive the increase of your plantings in times past. Seek not to change the Harvest. Let your Father burn the brambles in the Fire of His Love, and let Him gather in the Wheat that, in the Fire of His Love, it may become the Bread of Life wherewith you feed the hungry ones. Let your planting for this day be the fulness of your own Reality, and in the harvest you shall reap the increase thereof. Your part is in the planting. Let your Father receive the Harvest. So doing, you shall find that you receive all your seed for planting direct from Him, and He will give you Wheat to plant. So let it be. As you plant, so shall your Harvest be. As you give, so shall the increase be given unto you. 12-28-36
TALKS BESIDE THE SUN-DIAL — Number Two
Welcome, my beloved Friend, to this Sacred Garden of Peace. Long have I known you, and watched you in your journey along the Way, and it is with joy that I now greet you at the Gate where all who will may enter in. Come, let us sit beside the Sun-Dial, where I may draw forth for you the fulness of your own Reality. Let us praise the LORD of Lords, and give thanks for the blessings which have been yours in bringing you thus safely on your Way.
Yes, this is the Secret Place. Your heartfelt rejoicing has prepared the Way before you, and your earnestness has kept you safe from every pitfall. Each night you have slept within the Flaming Triangle of your Father's Radiance, which is the Christ Light, Love and Life. So let it be, my Friend, so let it be, in accordance with your Love. Yes, my Friend, the cooling, soothing Radiance of this place enfolds you in the Healing Ray, and every cell and tissue, gland, and organ of your body must surely respond in fulness as you let go therein. In this Secret, Sacred Garden absolute Perfection must outmanifest. The fevered brow is touched with the cooling fragrance of the Garden's Breath. The lagging function and lifeless form are filled with the vivifying Breath of Life in Love. Each one who comes here is transformed according to the vessel which he brings, that each may Serve in fulness. So it is that you are now filled with the full assurance of the Healing that is already prepared for you. In this you render a great Service to your brother-man, for lo, as the Healing Force of the Flaming Fire flows through you, transforming every member of your body-temple, the Radiance so released pours forth to all who will receive.
You now know that your Healing is already full and complete and has ever been, and in your Love for the Lord, your God, you now let your Healing come forth through your body-temple, and so it is that your temple is filled with the glory of the Lord, to the glory of the Lord. No longer will you need to seek for Healing, for your Faith in your Father has now made you whole, even as He is whole. Rejoice that it is so, and let your Healing outmanifest day by day according to your place of Service in the earth. Tell no one of your Healing, but ever give thanks to your Father, the Lord, your God, for your Healing in the Secret Place, and let Him reveal this Secret, Sacred Thing that is now conceived in you. Let your Healing come forth in the Light according to the Life which is now released in you through Love, So let it be. 12-28-36
TALKS BESIDE THE SUN-DIAL — Number Three
With great joy I give you Greetings at the Gate. Welcome, Beloved of the Lord! Come, let us rest beside the Sun-Dial in the Garden of Peace. I rejoice with you in that you have found the Secret Place. Relax in Peace, for I would draw forth from within you a vivid Realization of your Oneness with God. As the Light of Understanding fills you, the Ray of your Being shall shine into the world's consciousness as a message of Reality, revealing the Way for your brother man. So it is that you fill your appointed place of Service. Because you abide in Love for the Lord, your God, you are as an Open Window of Heaven.
In the Light you see that a concept of God proves the Presence of God-Being. Your vision and understanding of God is an outmanifestation of the God-Being within yourself. Yes, Beloved, to the degree that each one has a concept of God, each one begins to know his own Reality, for a recognition of the Truth of God-Being is a recognition of one's own Reality. In this Realization that the Lord is a Reality you are proving that the Lord is present in your body-temple. Your comprehension of the Love, Glory, Wisdom and Perfection of the Lord is in accordance with your recognition of your Father within. No matter where you may have thought God to be, your greatest concept of God-Being is the degree of your Realization of your Father within your body-temple. You now see that the Blessed Ones of the earth do not need a greater concept of God, so much as they need to understand the fact that one's greatest concept of God-Being is one's highest recognition of one's own Reality.
To know that God IS, is well, but the Blessed Ones must KNOW God. Nearly all people know that music IS, but only a few of them KNOW music. To the degree that each one knows music, that one is an active part of music. In each one's expression, or appreciation, of music, each one becomes a part of the manifestation of music. To the degree to which one loves music, one knows the way of his oneness with music. The lover of music does not claim to be the all of music, yet he knows himself to be a part of the manifestation of music. So it is with God. In your Love for God you prove that you are a part of God-Being. If you had no affinity with God you could not know that God IS. As you know that God IS, you also know that there is a particular phase of God-Being which is your own Reality. That phase of God-Being is your appointed place in the Cosmic Plan.
Your Love for the Lord has drawn you to your place, and in your place you know yourself as you are in Reality. Abiding in your true place you are conscious of being a part of God-Being. In this Oneness with God you begin to consciously function in and with God, and you know the expression of God to be Love. Because you have Loved the Lord, the Love of the Lord has begun to express through you, and so it is that God-Being is now revealed through you in active expression. Through your Love for the Lord you have learned to know God, and in knowing God you have known yourself. Beloved, I rejoice with you that it is so. From this moment of Eternity you know your oneness with God, and no power on earth can disturb the Rock of your Reality. 1-13-37
TALKS BESIDE THE SUN-DIAL — Number Four
Come, weary one and find rest in the Garden, for I have seen your labors, and I know your earnestness. Come, sit with me beside the Sun-Dial, and breathe deeply of the Fragrance of the Garden, for the Perfume of the Flower is the Prayer of its Being. Relax and rest, for until you let go you cannot let the Essence of your Being have effective expression through you. Let your Being express Its Essence, and you shall find that you Live in the environment of Love, for Love is of the Lord. Now are you letting go under the touch of my hand, and you are relaxing in the soothing Radiance of my Being. Your mind is calm, and the billows of your human desires are stilled, that in the peaceful ebb and flow of the Sea of Truth you may find that Power eternal which cannot be defiled by man. Yes, you are beginning to know your own Reality. To know the Lord is to Love Him, and to Love Him is to KNOW Him.
Yes, Blessed One, you have thought yourself to be bound by conditions, and limited by circumstances. You have prayed that circumstances and conditions might be changed so that you could begin to better Serve the Lord in Love. Now you see that your prayer was in vain, and that your desire was born of ignorance. He who acknowledges himself to be subject to conditions denies his Oneness with the Lord, and in thus denying his Lord he denies himself. Such an one is hedged in by the narrowness of his own mind. He is engulfed in superstitions of his own making.
As you rest here in the Garden with me, your Vision is enlarged and you know your own Reality in Oneness with the Lord, your God. You Realize that he who waits for conditions to change, waits in vain, as a slave to a hard taskmaster. You now know that as you begin to let the Creative Fire of Love pour through your every avenue of expression, conditions are changed and circumstances are altered. You are no longer a slave to conditions. In the Creative Power of your Being you now are changing the conditions of your environment through the Easy Way. You know the Easy Way to be in LETTING your Lord's Will be done, for the Will of your Lord is that the Fire of Love should Radiate through you.
Yes, you are now IN LOVE WITH THE LORD, and abiding thus in Love you find that the Power of Love changes all things in accordance with the Lord's Will, and you rejoice that it is so. You see and know that the works of the Lord are Wonderful, and you find Joy in Songs of Praise. No longer are you wavering, for you are steadfast in Love, letting your Lord's Will be done. Because you Love your Lord you are busy doing His Will in accordance with His Direction, and the peace of His Presence fills you.
No longer are you concerned with the limitations that have troubled you before. You know that as you fill your environment with Love in accordance with your Lord's Will, your environment shall expand, and the limitations shall be as your tools wherewith you work in Oneness with your Lord. You rejoice in the Adventure of Life, for you have found the Force that is released as Power through you, and your activities are drawn into the Cycle of your Love Radiance in the Lord. Because you do all things in Love you are working in Heaven, for Heaven is Love and Love is Heaven. In that you now Live in Love you are Living in Heaven. Because you have brought Heaven into the earth you have established a Point of Being wherein the New Earth begins to manifest. The Light of your Point of Heaven blends with the Radiance from other Points of Heaven that are established by your Brothers and Sisters who abide with you in Love for the Lord, and the Radiance fills the whole earth till all that cannot enter Heaven is removed from the earth, for lo, Heaven fills the earth because of Love. In Love the Reality of your Being now shines forth, and you fill your place in the Heavenly Plan because you fill your place in Love.
You are now ready to go on your Way, for your Way is Love, and your Heavenly Mansion of Love moves with you in the Way, for you have found Heaven to be the Burden of Light. So it is that the Service of your Lord is rendered in the earth, and the earth becomes the New Earth, and we shall abide in Heaven forever. 2-7-37
TALKS BESIDE THE SUN-DIAL — Number Five
A New Day has Dawned for you through the Light of your Love for your Lord, and I have come forth from the Garden to meet you, and to give you courage and strength within the Way. Arise and walk with me. Let us go quickly unto the Gate of the Garden. Come, O Faithful One, for now is your weariness gone from you, and in my Presence you find Peace. Behold the Sun Rise! The clouds of darkness are transformed by the Light. With Joy we relax beside the Sun-Dial, and in Silence we let go to the glories of Being.
Your New Day has Dawned. In the Light you see yourself in your Reality. In the Radiance you behold the Truth, and you Rejoice in the simplicity of the Way of Release. I Sound the Word within your Temple, and my Voice is as sweet music of Heaven to your ears. As you remember your brothers and sisters who still walk in darkness you know what it is to be filled to bursting and overflowing; with Compassionate Love, and I hear you say, "I would that all people might enter here! I would that all mankind might rest beside the Sun-Dial where we see and know and understand!"
The New Vision is before you. Now you understand the Secrets of Service in the Harvest Field. No longer are you limited in your Service by time and space and distance, for your Temple no longer tries to serve of itself. The Service in and through your Temple is of the Lord of your Temple, and you know your Lord as your own Reality. You see that all who seek to get blessings for themselves, in accordance with the foolish wisdom of men, do but clutter the outer courts of their Temples with the sordid things of the passing show. You know that what you attempt to get is of no value, for in such an attitude you would but deny the Truth that the Lord has already provided the fulness of that which is required by you. Your expanding Vision Reveals the Truth that your Environment, which is your Field of Service, is filled with that which you Express, and not with what you think to get.
You understand that your Environment reaches to the uttermost parts of the earth, and that all who Respond to that which you Radiate are within your Field of Service. Your Radiance of Love pours forth to all, and through you the prayers of the Earnest Ones are answered. The Lord your God within you answers the prayer of the Responsive One through the Positive Radiance of His Love through His Temple which the world has thought you to be. You behold the Sacred Word of Holy Writ as a Channel through which you give a Radiance of Understanding to the world. The Word of Truth is to you an Instrument of the Harvest, and you let the Radiant Love of your Lord pour through your Words, and so it is that you give the Word of Life. As your Lord is active in the Creative Cycle, so are you a manifest Expression of your Lord. That which your Lord does in Heaven within you is likewise done through you in the Earth. The Will of Your Lord is given expression through you in the Earth, and the Earnest Ones of your Cycle Respond to that which you give, for all that you give is given of your Lord. You rejoice that it is in giving and not in getting that the Way is made known. Your whole Being is Radiant in the giving of Reality, and so it is that your Environment is filled with Reality.
You know that it is in the giving of Love that Love is made manifest in you. You rejoice that in the giving of Wisdom and Understanding these Qualities of your Lord are Revealed to all who will Respond and Be Blessed thereby. As you go forth according to the Direction of the Spirit of your Lord, you know that many will but mock you when you speak of the Easy Way; nevertheless you will rejoice in gladness, for you will find, somewhere, an Earnest One who will dare to let go in love to the Lord his God within. You shall watch this Child-like One cease all of his self-activity, and let go of all his desires to get. You will behold this Blessed One, whom you shall find, begin give from the Lord within, and then shall that One become a Light in the earth. You will encourage the Hungry One to give of that which he has that his Lord may give abundantly unto him and through him to all. Your Brother, and your Sister, shall begin to Express the Simple Truths, and to write the Word of Inspiration from the Lord, and you shall see them blossom as the rose in a desert land. Then shall you be filled with the unspeakable Joy of Service in the Christ Love. You shall know that each one is surrounded with that which he gives, and you shall give thanks for the Secrets of Expression. 2-18-37
