Within the Kingdom of the Prince of Peace

The LORD is good, and greatly to be praised. Each time we consider the words of Psalm 107, that I read in the close of our Service this noon, you find that the expression is from a different level, that you see things that you never saw before; and you have been coming into a realization of the fact that there are many levels of consciousness. As we reach a point where we function correctly as the One Christ Body on earth, we are able to function on those levels according to the natural outworking of the Will of God as it is done on earth, and according to the necessities in the world itself.
On this level of consciousness which we now share, I would like to emphasize, perhaps to repeat, two or three points which we have considered before. Each one who is sharing in the formation of this Body on earth has brought into it certain focalizations with respect to the world as it is. These focalizations give us our contact points with the world. They are the channels through which we can work effectively in radiation, though we are few in number, because we have been gathered from the lands, from the north, south, east and west, not just in a geographical sense, but in the sense of our world attunements, levels and spheres of function. Even in these few people, whom the world would count to be so few that they would be of no effect, we have vibrational focalizations within the world that permit us, in a very real sense, to take hold of the world as a whole.
You have, in a primary sense, brought into this focalization that which is called good in the world, the good manifestation of the world. But you know that that which is of the good of the world, as it is known in the world, still brings destruction and failure. Nevertheless, it is in this sense that we have the vibrational contact points which reach out into all of the good of the world—all the good people of the world, in other words—contained within the scope of radiation which we have focalized here. Because of the actuality of these focalizations, you have first to meet these things individually, more or less as if they were problems of outworking, matters which are very real in you, adjustments that must be made in you in a very real sense, and in that process the outworking of world events is even now being influenced.
First, there must be victory over barriers, obstacles and limitations of consciousness. Those things that are not in perfect harmony with the Truth are worked out in adjustment in you. You individual members of the One Body, sharing this thing together, let the creative power work through you here and now, to gain the victory over such barriers as may be present, to adjust where it may be necessary, to get that which is the expression of you as an individual coordinated with the Truth, and to provide a channel for the flow of the creative power in the earth.
As that is done, the victory is established in you as a member of the Body; and with respect to that point of victory, it is established for the Body because it is established in you. Then, as soon as we have completed the cycle here with respect to the clearing of these matters in the members of the Body, we will have reached a point where the Body, as such, having gained the victory, stands as the point through which the power flows to cause this same working to move back into the world.
Once that victory is really established in you as a Unit, through all of the different aspects of the problem which you represent in the world, and you continue to function as a Unit, the same process, because of the continued flow of the Spirit of Love and the Spirit of Truth through you, must begin to take place out in the world, first with respect to those who are most closely attuned to your vibration. It is first picked up by those individuals, whether they are here, or in China, or anywhere else, but those individuals, whoever they are, wherever they are, begin to be influenced by that Current that flows through you. They will either respond to it and begin to let themselves be adjusted for the perfect function of the creative power, or, resisting to too great a degree, they will find themselves swept back by the force of the power.
Every time an individual is drawn from out of the world into a harmonization, so that he begins to function on the Rock, as a part of the Unit, the cycle of movement out of the world into the Kingdom becomes stronger, begins to move more rapidly, and the range of the manifestation of the Kingdom, in a vibrational sense, expands outward. That means that once this is established in the Body in a true sense, and it is working as a Victorious Unit, the battle is over insofar as you yourself, as an individual, may be concerned.
That does not mean that the battle is over in the world—and we will be participating in that outworking until it is finished—but it does mean that the struggle is no more inside of you. You have love, compassion, understanding; you do everything that you can to uplift, bless and assist all of the Responding Ones who may come within your sphere of influence; but, as this thing rolls back into the world, the battle line will be in those who are awakening, in whom the victory in the next wave, so to speak, is being made manifest.
Those who find the victory in each new wave will be drawn in; those who refuse to share in the victory will go down; and, wave on wave, it will come, each time getting larger and larger, and stronger and stronger, until it sweeps the world. But, inside of this, regardless of anything else, no matter what is rising or falling in the world, no matter how much turmoil there may be, there is one point where peace must reign supreme, where the Prince of Peace actually has His Kingdom manifest on earth, and that peace must be in heart, in mind, in function, in attitude, in feeling, in action, in you. That does not mean that we will not feel the Fire of Divine Love flowing out, that is, a real Creative Current, but that Fire does not bring a lack of peace.
Now, here is a particular point. Let us see how well we can bring it out, in clarity. Human beings are used to having, or feeling, a certain degree of conflict or emotional upheaval when they feel real Currents of Love in one way or another, Love to God, for instance; they are used to feeling emotional reactions of one kind or another when there is a true flow of Love; and that has tended to establish a state of consciousness where people generally feel that there is, more or less, a lack of peace, in one sense at least, when there is a powerful flow of Divine Love. This is what I was seeking to clarify, then, with respect to this peace. It is not a peace that is simply negative, passive, without Fire, a peace that simply—what shall we say?—the peace of a landscape. Why do we say that?
According to human concept, there is nothing much being done, or if anything is being done, it does not have any particular effect on the scene as it is comprehended. Do you begin to see a distinction here as to the ordinary concept of peace, and peace as I am undertaking to clarify it for you? This peace is an Absolute Peace, in the sense that it is not reacting to turmoil, conditions; there is absolute contentment, satisfaction. But it is also a peace that is alive and aflame in the Fire of Divine Love.
It is a searching point of power, ever active
according to the necessities of the Divine outworking.
And yet it is peace.
As you have come along thus far, you begin to have a sense of recognition or appreciation of this distinction, as I have undertaken to clarify it. You can feel that there is a difference. Then there comes a new vision of peace, and as you have this new vision of peace, this sphere of function of the One Christ Body, where the Prince of Peace reigns, does not merely sort of exist, without much activity, where things are just running smoothly, so that nothing much is happening. It is a peace that is running smoothly, where all is harmonious within it, but it is a peace on a battle front, where something is being done. It is a peace where there is no conflict within us, but we are meeting points of conflict, where creative activity is moving forward apace, changing, transmuting, transforming, letting the power of God make all things new.
So this basis of our operation, as the One Christ Body, will be a realm where the Prince of Peace reigns supreme. But the Prince of Peace is the Creator, and through His instrument on earth, established in peace, He sends not peace unto the world, but a sword, causing all the unreal to be cut away, causing that which is not of Him to either be transformed or consumed.
As we come into this Sabbath Rest of the LORD more and more fully [greatcosmicstory.blogspot.com/a-from-principles-cycles-uranda-july-27.html], so that we feel and know His Peace, the training that we have in being unmoved by these things that are happening around us, or working out in individuals, assists tremendously in preparing the way whereby, when the day comes, when the Spirit begins to direct us to move into the battle front, we will be unmoved, undisturbed by these things that are taking place. Reactions and upheaval in the world cannot get inside of the Hedge; because, if the devil can, he will make you the battle ground, and if he does, and he keeps you the battle ground long enough! You see my point?
Our first step is to reach a point where we are not the battle ground, where we are so established upon the Rock, so coordinated in function, so abiding in peace, so polarized in Reality, so one-pointed in Responsive Love to the LORD of Lords, so coordinated with respect to the Truth, that absolutely nothing can shock, disturb or upset us in the sense of breaking correct polarity.
There may be problems; there may be things that we recognize are working out. We recognize that each one here has problems, that each one is going through the process of transformation, the process of being renewed and made whole. Each one here comes to a point of recognizing that since that is true of everyone else, as it is true of himself, then, those things that appear with respect to the various members of the Body who are going through this process, cannot move into a reaction, or a disturbed state of mind. In other words, just as you are, each one in his or her place, given consideration, so must you give consideration to each other one, recognizing that these changes are working out, that each one is under stress and strain, moving forward to victory. Something is being done.
It is not yet required that any one of you shall be absolutely perfect; but it is required that, from this point on, being in the Body, you remember that you are under the Jurisdiction of the Prince of Peace; therefore, these things which other members of the Body say, these things out here, cannot take you out of the realm of peace, because as long as there are those things that take you out of the realm of peace, or that can take you out of the realm of peace, you are not yet completely, utterly, fully, a Subject of the Prince of Peace.
When I say that it is necessary, I am not putting that down as an arbitrary rule. I am not saying that if you do get disturbed, you are failing. What I am seeking to do is to bring out a realization of what it is to abide in peace, under the Jurisdiction of the Prince of Peace, so that we can begin to feel on earth that quality of being unmoved, the expression of the Rock itself, so that whether this, that or the other thing takes place, we know absolutely that what is responding will be lifted up, and what is not responding will be cast down. It is the Law. According to the response of each one, so will it be.
As we are working in this realm of peace—not to say that you have reached a point where you must be fully in it yet, only that this is the beginning of training in function from the standpoint of the realm of the Prince of Peace. As you work from that standpoint, becoming at home in the Kingdom of the Prince of Peace, you will reach a point where every step of the way with respect to service, with respect to that which we are required to do, can be carried on from inside the Kingdom, so that we will no longer have to go out.
The Word is that we reach a point in the Kingdom
where we go no more out.
You have all been in the Kingdom; you have been outside of it; you have known it for various periods of time; sometimes you find that which takes you out of the Kingdom for little periods of time, at least. This afternoon, I am undertaking to clear the way for a deeper understanding, so that no matter what works out, you can always function from inside the Kingdom, where the KING is Supreme. When you cross the borderland out of His Kingdom into the kingdom of the prince of this world, His Power reaches out there very effectively, but He does not reign Supreme there, as yet. Do you see what I mean?
Today, He reigns Supreme within His Kingdom,
and we are coming to that point where we,
as Subjects of His Kingdom,
must remain in it all of the time.
That does not mean that we could not travel to the ends of the earth, if we had to. It is not a matter of geographical location; it is a matter of being in the Kingdom from the standpoint of what is inside of you; then, we always remain under His Jurisdiction. When we always stay inside of His Kingdom, we always have His Power working through us; we have His Authority back of us; we have His Power back of us; and if we have that, the prince of this world and all of his armies are as nothing. Do you have a deeper realization of that than you had before? Yes. We come to the point of abiding in the Kingdom.
As we consider this principle of abiding in the Realm of the Prince of Peace, recognizing that as we learn to rest in the LORD, to become at home in His Kingdom, then when He directs, when the way opens, when everything is set for it, we will function within the Kingdom to let the Power of that Kingdom move out into the world.
The first and important point is for us to become fully, utterly, completely, members of that Kingdom, proving that we are Subjects of the KING, the Prince of Peace, by the fact that we reach a point where, resting in Him, nothing disturbs, nothing can cause an upheaval in us, because the upheavals have moved out behind us. If we meditate on that, consider it, realize it, with respect to all of the factors, our afternoon will have been well worthwhile.
