I have been working out the possible patterns of function in the Little Chapel to maintain a controlled vibration. It will have to be flexible with respect to all needs. It is going to entail a series of especially prepared papers. There is not too much difficulty involved with respect to the periods that I am present in person, but I cannot hope to be present all the time, especially in the five to eight o'clock period of radiation. Generally speaking, unless there is some emergency when I am not available, I expect to focalize all the special services that might be held at other hours.


One of the Principles that must be remembered in relationship to effective radiation of the Creative Word—after basic Principles have been fulfilled in relationship to the Law and Polarity—is a focused vibration as simple in nature as it can be made, focused in a current on a sustained expression. Variations must not detract from the focalization, nor introduce complexities that would detract from the essential simplicity of the focalized point. In one sense it is following out a vibration.


In one way it is bringing the Unit to a point of doing in Principle, although at a higher level and for a different purpose, the same thing that I had to do in the very beginning of my ministry. In the early period of my ministry I was—to illustrate it more or less crudely—like a detective turned loose with a thousand and one clues to be followed out, sifted, adjusted into a sensible, comprehensive, realistic pattern. That function involved what I called, following out a vibration. I undertook, in early papers, to give some instruction along that line, and I soon discovered that what I said did not have very much meaning to my hearers or to my readers. I have, since that time, undertaken to clarify and give training in all the basic essentials of the process, and it has been used to some degree but not as extensively as I had hoped would be the case. I had felt, in my earlier ministry, that what I said would surely inspire similar action or function in others. I felt that individual initiative and ingenuity would be brought into play, so that the expanding expression of that which I was focalizing would be like a fire spreading in all directions, firing each one with a zeal and a hunger and a thirst to encompass the fields of understanding necessary to effective function in the range of the principles involved.


One of the greatest difficulties that I had in my early ministry was to develop a combination of patience and understanding that would keep from letting me feel almost overwhelmed with a sense of futility when I found that, no matter what fire of expression was released through my words, it did not ignite a complementary fire in the hearts and minds of my hearers. Of all the things I was confronted with, and under the necessity of understanding, in my early ministry, that was perhaps the most difficult, and I suppose there are remnants of that difficulty that have pursued me down the years of my ministry, because it has tended to make me discount the lethargy of individual human reactions, and I have been inclined to feel that I could inspire the response and ignite a flame that would allow a fulfilment within the scope of what I conceived to be a reasonable period for specific fulfilments. In the earlier part of my ministry I was a little inclined to be perhaps rash in definitely anticipating specific fulfilments within a period that I saw to be easily possible. But when I found that those who refused to be      inspired and refused to let the flame be ignited, waited on the sidelines until my time limits expired and the fulfilment had not come, that they then turned around and blamed me and called me a false prophet, I began to be a little more cautious.



During that early period of my ministry, the most difficult thing for me was overcoming the tendency to feel baffled and depressed and futile in the face of human failures to catch the spirit of the thing that I was seeking to do—and in one sense it has been a cross all the way through my ministry. It is something that still tends to be as a burden many times, but gradually within the scope of the Unit this problem has been solved to what, in comparison with the world response, might be called a high degree. In comparison with what I envision, it is still slow. In the Unit there is a ready enough response, generally speaking, to whatever focalization of Truth I may express, and something of the spirit of it is generally maintained to a reasonable degree, but it still appears to me like smoldering coals. There is Fire there, and the current of the Air of the Spirit keeps those coals burning, but only occasionally a flame flickers up, and I have not been able to cause that Fire to burst out in a leaping, crackling Flame that burns continually. I have the feeling all the time that those smouldering coals would tend to die out if I did not keep blowing them with all the force of my Being. Gradually they are beginning to glow more brightly but it still is not a living, leaping Fire. Until it is that living, leaping Fire, I feel handicapped. I have to keep tending the Fire to keep it from dying down, and there is not that something yet that allows a vivid, vital current to move into the channels opened up in the processes of what I have called following out a vibration.


The purpose of following out a vibration at this level and in this period of our ministry is not so much an exploration to find and to recognize and give form to the Truth as such, because the Unit has been given the benefit of my own exploration in that regard, so there is a wide field where the Truth of the various focalizations is already known, intellectually at least, and to some degree in realization. While that has been absolutely essential, that is, my function as it has been in the presentation of that Truth, it has, at the same time, been something of an impediment, because no matter how I undertook to stimulate the expanding expression of the individuals with whom I have dealt, I could never get any general current of an overleaping Flame that would allow individual aspects of that expanding expression to become meaningful in the realm of the new, or no matter how I held back or gave, up to a certain point, opening the way for others to overleap the boundary, the general tendency has been to be extremely conservative.


A few have followed out vibrations in their individual initiative. Martin is the outstanding example of that [and William has to some degree] but the fact that, generally speaking, it never reached out beyond, tended to keep the individual members of the Unit from actually realizing the Truth as being their own. It was something they looked at from a little distance, so to speak. They accepted little parts of it here and there, and tentatively used it, and toyed with it, etc., but it has been difficult to find any way of causing each to have a definite, individualized realization that the Truth that they envision is actually, vibrantly their own. There has not yet been a sufficient sharing in this following out of vibrations to let the individualized aspects of that Truth begin to glow in the Flame. Consequently, there has been a tendency—on seeing the Truth and accepting it, but as from a distance—to imagine that that Truth was thoroughly understood when it was not.


I have, as we have gone along, used every resource at my command to lead individuals and the groups I have dealt with, back and forth across the central points from every conceivable angle, to give a full opportunity of actually comprehending the central points involved. Generally speaking, there has been a tendency to note some little new aspects of it that were more or less intriguing, but to skim over, as it were, the Central Current of the thing, nonchalantly saying, “Oh, yes, we have heard that before; we know that; but we are searching for something new.” The trouble is, the human minds involved have been inclined to accept little things that, while they were essential to the picture, were not the vital points, as being the new, without an adequate realization of the fundamental theme, or seeing the opportunities that were actually present to see the new and to make it their own.


All of these things have necessitated a long drawn-out process by which we have finally come to the present day. We have made progress, and in various ways we have worked to get the basic fundamentals ingrained into the consciousness of each one, so that there is a heart-acceptance of them. The pressure points, as they have appeared, have shown to what degree there was a heart-acceptance. As long as everything was moving smoothly, and more or less to the individual liking of each one, there was no way of telling for certain how much there was heart-acceptance of that which was intellectually acknowledged as being true. But the pressure points through which we have passed have shown, individually and collectively, as we have moved along the Way, the degree of heart-acceptance. Sometimes it was shown that that heart-acceptance was very, very shallow, and as soon as the real pressure turned on it withered up and was gone, and then the intellectual acceptance immediately became colored with the reactive questionings and doubtings of the mind, which destroyed the individual attunement with reality that had been built up. And so, many have left the fold self-righteously and, as they have thought in many instances, with righteous indignation. Gradually we have developed a reasonably stable Unit with a fair degree of heart-acceptance, and that is what we have to start with as we approach our proposed function with respect to the Little Chapel.



I am keenly aware of the fact that the actual development of focalized vibrations  and radiation must be held consistently or the world currents will produce some very difficult complications. Perhaps the best illustration could come from the standpoint of lightning. A lightning flash burns up the atmosphere in its path and then it is gone, and the air rushing back into the partial vacuum that is created, produces what we call thunder. When there is an actual focalized radiation in the power of the Spirit, it is like the projection of the fire of lightning out into the world. If the current is held all is well, and there is an opportunity for continued expansion; but if it is more like a lightning flash, if it goes out and then, for various reasons, suddenly is cut off—whether the period of radiation be long or short, if it is actually effective and then is cut off—the world vibrational realm comes rushing back into the vacuum, and the vacuum leads straight to the feeling realm of the individuals who participated, and it produces something like thunder, and then the individuals are subject to the terrific pressures of the world reactive vibration; and unless they turn to their basic focalizations and begin to let the reality of radiation appear and gradually push back the force of the world reaction, such individuals suffer physically, mentally and emotionally—consequently we may say spiritually, in the sense of the Spiritual Expression.


I know how it feels because, on innumerable occasions, I have had individuals who were channels for an actual radiation break the vibration, that is, cease to be a specific point of focalization in the Creative Field, get out of line, and then, because I present the Central Point of radiation, that left a vacuum between the world vibration and my own, through which the thunder claps of world reaction rushed back to me, and then, if I have not had focalizations that held, that allowed me to begin to meet that reactive force in radiation effectively, I was in the position of simply having to suffer it out. Once it almost cost me my life, and at other times it was very dangerous. Nine-tenths of all the suffering I have ever had to face in my ministry came from this one point in relationship to this one principle.


Fortunately the reactive world vibrations have thus far been primarily of the vibrational realm. They have never been given opportunity to manifest very much in physical form, comparatively speaking—that is, comparing the era of our development of this Unit to the period following Pentecost, when persecution became rampant. There the failures worked out on a vibration that permitted the development of form with respect to the world reactive vibration, and there was physical persecution which produced the death of many. Fortunately we have had comparatively little of that. Now, as we move into this new sphere of ministry, we have an opportunity to enhance and build up the material form of our expression if all hold true to the line; but if there were to be any general breaking, the reactive expression with respect to the world would tend to manifest more particularly with respect to the material or physical plane, and we would all suffer. Knowing these things, I have put off the actual initiation of any such Program for a long time. I thought confidently that I was going to get such a Program under way in 1936, and I was moving in that direction. It could have been, but it was not. Of those who shared extensively in that period when that function was being instituted, virtually all of them have been moved out of their places in the Service through the reactive pressures which they brought on themselves. As I recall Fern and Tillie attended quite a few of the services at that time in the Chapel. At the moment I cannot think of any others who did attend with regularity. There may have been some who visited once or twice, like Marie Johnson and Jennie Ollson, but I cannot think of any others who really shared in those services who are still in the Service. They are all gone.


I do not want anyone to get hurt; and I know that we cannot get very far without taking this step. I intend to start it as slowly as possible and still get the job done, but the probabilities are that once we get it started I will have to call on you girls to help meet some of the problems that arise—and from the standpoint of the Creative Field you will more or less constitute my last line of defense, or perhaps, putting it another way, the first line of offense. Ann is leaving in person, but as she lives in that point of polarity to which she has become quite accustomed, at home, she will be able to fill her part by just simply being a good Emissary; and as long as she does not become troubled in mind or spirit, or start worrying about how things are going here, or start becoming fearful in any way, she will be safe, and all will be well. We are moving out into a Field where this thing is going to be put to a test. If it is what it ought to be there will not be any individual tests to speak of that would cause any trouble, and the world limitations that beset us will be tested. They will be tested against that Irresistible Force of the Cosmic Power of God, and I would rather not talk about the alternative. It would not be pleasant. Now we have work to do, work that must be performed in absolute humility before the Lord, and yet work that must be done in the Positive Current of His Spirit that requires a balance in polarity. I did not want to begin this phase of Nucleus Function until I was ready to have it expand out into the Unit, and through the Unit into the world, but if the function is going to start in the Unit it must begin in the Nucleus on a vibration that is designed to draw everyone else into it, according to response.




Dare to Walk in the Flame


In the expression of the Prophets of old time, we find a record of various statements, to the effect that the Lord would sift His people as wheat, the chaff would be blown away—or the Master put it as the division between the sheep and the goats—various ways, all the same thing. They are described as earthquakes, shakings in various ways, pressure points. It means that we have to dare. As much as possible, I want each one to go into it with eyes open. We have to dare to Walk in the Flame—Step into the Fire. Once we do there can be no turning back safely. Any turning back then is very, very disastrous—for he who is in the Flame and becomes fearful, and starts to turn back is consumed by the Flame. I do not want any tragedies; and tragedies, if they do occur, always bring a long string of complications that involve all concerned in needless difficulties. And such things delay, and delay is dangerous. I have sought, in every way I know, to impress on the Unit the fact that this is not a child's game. It is something deadly serious.


Now, as to the Nucleus function, it does not vary greatly from that function to which you have already been gently lead. It is not any great divergence from what has already been established, and the points of focalization and radiation must be kept simple and direct. The simplified point of Truth in radiation is like the point of the sword. It is that which drives home. The rest follows. It is that which penetrates and which has the power of penetration. I have used the Principle with all of you or you would not be here. In innumerable instances each one of you has responded in Love and Faith and Hope, without really knowing why, without really understanding what was taking place, without any clear realization of just what was going to happen next. Your movement in such a case was not something calculated, from the standpoint of your own minds. It was not something that you deliberately determined to do on a basis of some idea that you saw it all clearly, and satisfied all the questionings of your minds, etc. The vibrancy of your response in Love and in Faith and in Hope stilled the questioning of the mind. Love cast out fear, Faith cast out unbelief, and Hope gave courage.


There have been times when, after an advance on such a basis, you have looked back more or less amazed, and wondered about it some as to just how it happened, or why—and sometimes there has been a little hint of fearfulness that crept in, a little tendency to questioning. If you did not immediately let the questioning of the mind be stilled through Faith, if you did not immediately let the current of response be strengthened through Love response, you found yourselves in trouble, and, being in trouble, the consciousness of Hope tended to vanish; and consequently there was a tendency to lose courage or become discouraged. It is as simple as that. Each one of you has experienced these phases or steps of movement forward where you were carried without any consciousness of volition on your part, without any clear realization of just what was happening, over obstacles, or up steps, simply by reason of your Love that held the polarity and cast out fear, your Faith that kept the outer mind still, and your Hope that gave you the courage to let it be so. Many times you yourselves have not understood, for a considerable time afterward anyway, and perhaps to some degree do not yet understand, but you know that that is so. Others, seeing something of it, have in various ways judged you because they did not understand.


All horsemen know that if a fire breaks out in a barn, the only way to save the horses is to blindfold them and then lead them out. A horse caught in a fire will refuse to be lead as long as he can see. He will stay and perish in the flames, but as soon as he is blindfolded he will let himself be lead to safety. That provides a crude illustration in a way, and yet in essence that is what has to be done to human beings. They will not let themselves be saved until they are willing to be lead without insisting on maintaining their ability to see every step, or to understand, to answer every question.


Love response must establish polarity and cast out fear. Faith must still the questioning of the mind, so that, as it were, the mind is for the moment blindfolded, simply willing to be lead. Hope, which springs eternal in the human breast by the Grace of God, gives the courage essential to the doing. Generally speaking, when there is courage, in such function the individual involved has absolutely no consciousness, at the moment at least, of the fact of courage. He may look back on it afterward with amazement and feel some little reaction with respect to it perhaps, but it was there at work, generally speaking, without his having the faintest conscious thought of courage as such at the time.


This is just introductory in one sense—but this is the first time I have used the triangles to this degree, and this is just sort of getting things set, so to speak. Here we have an arrangement such as we will probably use many times in the Little Chapel. We are not, technically, facing the right directions, but we have Kathy representing the Apex of the Triangle facing me; Ann on my right, representing the point of the Triangle that Martin carries; Grace on my left, representing my own point of Focalization; Lillian in the center directly before me, representing a focus in the Field of Form. And my own Position in relationship to that Point representing the One Whose Spirit is incarnate in that Form, so that I may, in relationship thereto, be the Voice of His Expression on earth, the Representative of the Father. We have here, then, the basic elements in the Nucleus of both Triangles of manifestation in miniature, so to speak, of that greater form which must ultimately come vibrantly alive and effective. That being the case, we see that the start of the expression of the Creative Word, or the beginning of its manifestation, is properly within the range of this Nucleus. In the individual the Word of the Father is seldom carried with clearness to the consciousness, and so into the expression of the individual, but here we have that which represents the necessity with respect to every individual on earththe expression of my Word moving through the Body and Mind and Spiritual Expression of the human trinity in the current of the Spirit of the LORD of Lords. This Nucleus has just reached a point where I could begin to point these things out and utilize the simple fundamental principles involved. It has not been much ahead of the Unit, actually, in some respects. In other respects we may say that it has been, from the standpoint of reaching a position of function—we can function effectively, providing these simple fundamentals are remembered. The keynote of the expression of the Father through you into the Unit, and so out into the world, may be put in these words:



Let the Will of the Father be Done


That will naturally be extended, depending upon the circumstance, and you will not necessarily give audible expression to these words, although you may on occasion, depending on the circumstance. It could be: “Let the Will of the Father be done in this specific situation”, or it could be: “Let the Will of the Father be done in you”, if your consciousness of expression is toward some specific person or persons. Or if toward some specific need which is to be filled: “Let the Will of the Father be done in bringing forth that manifestation which shall fill this void with the perfection of Being.” The keynote is:



Let the Will of the Father be Done


Not as a vibration of acquiescence to something on your part, but as an expression of the Spirit through you to the person, or into the situation, with which you are dealing. It does not necessarily have to be formed in words in your own consciousness even, because that keynote will properly be the central matrix of your own feeling attitude toward all persons and things and situations. That is very simple, and if you do not try to extend it or complicate it, you will not get beyond your own depth, that is, if you do not try to extend it on some self-active basis.


When first Kathy began to function in her Point of Focalization and move into it, I told her a good many times: “Remember who you are.” I pointed out to her that in any situation where she might tend to get flustered or feel to be off her base or anything that would disturb the effectiveness of her function or her tranquility, if she would always remember that point it would help her maintain effectively her point of polarity.



Always Remember Who You Are


That involves remembering Who you belong to, which involves remembering what your position is in relationship to the LORD of Lords—and to me. It involves remembering your Divine Calling. But that is my concluding Word to you tonight: always Remember who you are. If you find yourself getting into difficulties, do not rush in blindly, do not try to fight your way through something. Back up a little, step back from the situation, remember your polarity in Love, your Faith, and your Hope—the three things that give meaning to you as individuals. Without those three things, you tend to become meaningless—Love, Faith and Hope.


Meditate for a moment about what I have said tonight about Love, Faith and Hope, and in that meditation, Remember Who You Are. Remember the dignity, the nobility, that is natural to your calling. Remember Who You Are, and you will always remember that you are never alone. Remember Who You Are, and you will always know the Spirit of that Central Point with which you are identified, and you will find that in remembering Who You Are the Current of Being in the LORD of the Sacred Seven and the Lord of the Sacred Three is indivisible, one and the same, and in that Spirit your expression of life will reveal Who You Are—but you cannot reveal in your life expression Who You Are if you yourself forget Who You Are.


I bless you and enfold you in that peace which is of our KING, that peace which passeth all human understanding. In all things, Let the Will of the Father Be Done. That is the focus of the Creative Word for which you are responsible. This is that which is established In the Christ, and has been since before the Foundation of the world. Do you see why it is true, although I have not put it perhaps in so many words before, that if any of you respond primarily to any point of focalization in the Unit you would be reversing your polarities and failing to fill your places? Would any of you like to comment?


Kathy — In your outline, as you have given it tonight, I see much that I do not understand, and yet much that I do; and I think your presentation of the three points of Love, Faith and Hope, and the representatives of those Divine attributes, is deeply wonderful, and in the Focalization, of which you will be the Head, the Focal Point, I feel that the Power of the LORD can be expressed more safely and more effectively than at any time perhaps since the Master left this realm. I feel it is wonderful beyond words.


Ann — Uranda, I feel very humble and grateful to the Lord for this holy presentation that you have given to us tonight, and I will say, as Kathy said, that while I do not understand all the points you have expressed, I feel, and I have the courage that, as I trust and obey the Lord and let His Will be done, I will fill my Place, to His Glory and to the blessing of all mankind. Praise the Lord.


Grace — I feel the absolute absence of any fear, and I am filled with a deeper feeling of thanksgiving than I have ever known, for the privilege of being a part of the focalization of Divine Womanhood which I feel here tonight. I feel that the Unit is truly at the place now where it can begin to ask In His Name, that the Will of the Father may be done through His Instrument in the earth.


Lillian — And as you are that Instrument, Thy Will shall be done on earth.



Uranda — So be it. O LORD of Lords, I thank Thee for the beginnings of that function in realization by reason of which Thy Will is being done, and shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven; for Thine is the Kingdom and the Power and the Glory forever. Aumen.

It's good to see your smiling faces.

All is well!

Let your light so shine.

I am the light of the world.


While it is not so prominent in these days, it wasn't long ago when there was a recognition of a battle for the minds of men—and women too, presumably. This was usually seen in ideological terms of some kind. Human beings are taken up with this battle, both being attacked and attacking. I'm sure somebody wants your vote; he has to grab hold of your mind to get it. Somebody wants to sell you his wares; he has to grab hold of your mind to do that. So we see a battle raging constantly. This battle might be seen symbolically as occurring between the heads of the dragon. They are all vying for first place. There is another battle which is described in the Book of Revelation: “There was war in heaven.” Well these battles I have been describing are occurring in the first heaven. That, after all, is where the dragon with his heads resides.


We may see it in terms of the human mind. What is it that shall characterize that facility? We are well aware that the prince of darkness has occupied this mental capacity in the world the way it is. His occupation involves a continuing battle. We have a recognition that this mental capacity should be filled with the light rather than the darkness. It is the same mental capacity whether it is occupied by the light or the darkness. In the first heaven it is occupied by the darkness; in the new heaven it is occupied by the light; but it is the same mental capacity in either case. Obviously it is not a matter of shucking off our minds, because then you would be left without any capacity at all. We have this rather remarkable mental capacity, which heretofore has apparently chosen darkness but which also is quite capable of choosing light. Here we see another war in the first heaven—the first heaven is full of war anyway. But there is something that can happen in the first heaven which may transform that facility into the new heaven.


I think sometimes in considering this matter of the first heaven and the new heaven there is the idea that somehow or other it's another person involved in the matter. It's the same person. It's the same capacity, which is either filled with darkness or filled with light. It has been so customary to be filled with darkness that the idea of being filled with light strikes terror in many hearts. Everything would then be exposed. Are we still somewhat afraid of what might be seen if we were factually filled with light? There would be no hiding place—to be completely exposed. It seems that the original condition was one of nakedness, indicative of complete exposure. That was natural because the radiance of light was natural and there was nothing to hide from. In allowing our minds to be restored from the state of satan to the state of Lucifer it is a matter of participating in the radiance of light. After all, Lucifer is the light-bearer. We could not have the experience of Lucifer without bearing the light.


So there is in this heavenly capacity the possibility of either maintaining what has always been known in human experience since the fall, or allowing the door to be opened so that the radiance of light may put in an appearance. This is what is being described by “war in heaven.” It's war in the first heaven. That's the only starting point anyone has. If the new heaven was already a fact in human experience there would be no problem. But the fact is the first heaven, the heaven of darkness; so the light needs to permeate that darkness. We ourselves have been willing, up to a point at least, to accept the responsibility of letting the darkness be banished. Our main effort in this regard was not so much to let the light shine as to get rid of the darkness, but you can't get rid of the darkness without letting the light shine. We don't align ourselves with the idea of the institutional inmate who sought to bail the darkness of night out of his room with a bucket. It is simply a matter of letting the light shine. The shining of the light banishes the darkness.


It is the fact that the darkness does not comprehend the light. How could it? It's dark! But the darkness vanishes when the light shines. The idea has been that there is some great struggle to go on, a great battle, an endless battle apparently, between the light and the darkness. But there is no battle between the light and the darkness. When the light goes on, the darkness is gone. Can you imagine some situation where the light is having a hard time getting rid of the darkness? It is simply a matter of letting the light shine. If one is identified with the darkness, the darkness comprehends not the light. We have much evidence of that fact all around us and we have much experience of that fact within us. When it is dark it is very, very dark. But when it is light there's no darkness. What a very simple thing this is.


The shining of the light prevails when it is present. The prince of darkness does not prevail and is cast out of the heaven. When the prince of darkness is actually cast out of that first heaven, which he has occupied for so long, there is the new heaven. It wasn't something other than it was before. The place is the same, the space is the same, but it's now occupied by light and not by darkness. There is no question as to the outcome of the battle, or the war, as long as the light is allowed to shine. Defeat comes and has been maintained because there is a struggling within the darkness. We have noted how the heads of the dragon contend with each other. They are vying for the minds of men. That's the sort of battle we can do without.


We see people everywhere involved in this war. The war has come to focus recently in the Free Trade Agreement between Canada and the U.S. which is shortly to be signed, whatever that means; but the battle lines are drawn. Some say it's good, some say it's bad. What say you? That's the battle zone—we don't belong there. This bothers people who are involved in the battle. “Why are you so weak and puny that you don't pick up the cause?” It might be said by each of us, “I am so strong that I don't need to.” That battle is of no concern whatsoever; it doesn't matter—IDM! Whatever is done it will have an unfortunate effect. It doesn't matter which way it goes, it will have an unfortunate effect, because here is the prince of darkness getting everybody well confused so that he may maintain his position, which is that of governing human minds. I don't care to have my mind governed by the prince of darkness. How about you? One of his heads will tell you you should go this way and another head will tell you you should go that way. What difference does it make? I don't intend to go either way!



There is just one way, and that is the way of light. And when light is allowed to shine in the realm where the prince of darkness has held sway heretofore, there is what might be described as war. I am sure all of you have had some experience in this regard. I am not talking about this superficial war that constantly goes on in the advertising world, or in the world of politics, or in the world of religion, or in any of the human worlds—I am not talking about that. But when the light begins to shine because you let it shine, all sorts of dark things erupt—there is war in this way. But darkness has no power over light. Why is it that so easily there is a fearful attitude toward the darkness? “It's going to prevail. Oh dear me! It's going to overwhelm me. This darkness is building up all around!” What about letting the light shine, and where did the darkness go? It is the constant radiation of the light that dispels the darkness. It's rather magical, isn't it? Even in a room like this, if you put out all the lights it's dark. Darkness appears to have triumphed. But put on the lights, where did it go? It wasn't anything in the first place.


Let your light so shine. We are reaching a point where we begin to understand what that means: no more fear of the darkness. Many children are afraid of the dark. We have all been children. The easiest way to dispel that fear is to turn on the light. Let your light so shine. I am the light of the world, of my world in particular. If my light shines in my world it's not dark anymore to me. It may be dark to the creatures of darkness round about, but to me, no. This shining of the light comes, as we know, individually speaking. One must let it happen, for oneself. But there begins to be a collective shining of the light in consequence. And the darkness is in the process of being dispelled. Keep the light coming.


What fearful creatures human beings are—I suppose in a way, naturally so; they have been creatures of the dark. We've all been that way and we have suffered so in that darkness: plagues, famine, earthquakes. All these things appear in the darkness. When such things put in an appearance in our own experience, even in our own flesh, what do we do? “Oh dear, this is the darkness! I must go to somebody who will manipulate this darkness so it isn't dark anymore.” That's rather ridiculous, isn't it? Let the light shine—the only thing to be done! But one must do it for oneself. There is a tendency to rush around, find other people who are going to switch on the light somehow for us. No they're not! They may provide momentary alleviation of something to give us the opportunity to let the light shine.


If any of us have moved through difficulties of any kind—environmental difficulties, circumstantial difficulties, difficulties in our own bodies, difficulties of whatever kind—and someone has helped to alleviate whatever they were, one may give thanks for that because one is still on hand to let the light shine. Otherwise any help we receive went for nothing. What happens when these things put in an appearance around us? Do we revert into the old state? Or is there a recognition that the shining of the light is the only way by which wholeness can be restored? The wholeness of our own physical flesh depends upon whether the light shines or not, not upon whether you took your vitamins today. While you are meditating upon the advisability of letting your light shine, the vitamins may be useful. But don't meditate too long!


Let your light so shine. And, as I say, this is an individual matter initially. As the responsibility is taken individually and the light does shine individually, there is no more fear of the darkness. Then there begins to be a collective situation, which we know something about, don't we? As was indicated this morning [greatcosmicstory.blogspot.com/2015/08/names-from-martinexeter-december-13.html] the multiplication of the shining of the light is exponential in consequence, but it can't happen if we let the light shine a little and then decide to duck back into the darkness. If we have this on-again, off-again situation, the multiplication collectively can't take place—very much at least.


The shining of the light brings forth an awareness of one's own angelic identity, which is the light. The light is present because one still lives, the angelic identity is present. As Lucifer is restored there is the transparency for the revelation on earth of that angelic identity. It comes with the light. I am the light of the world. I am the light of the world because I have a physical form in the world, and through that physical form the light shines. But it reaches the physical form through my mind, through the potential new heaven. As the light shines, the darkness is cast out and there begins to be a new heaven on earth within the body of mankind, a safe place consistently maintained by the shining of the light.


It is the shining of the light that permits creation to occur. Perhaps we would think of that in terms of re-creation, but it's creation. And as there is the clear shining of the light through a unified body, the prince of darkness is cast into the earth. There is no heaven for him anymore, and all power is given to this new heaven present on earth by which the creation occurs. Magic! Magic to the human view. It's been happening all along in a way—as we noted, a very sluggish way—but when Lucifer is in place and the light is borne, behold I come quickly!



The light shines and creation occurs. The light shines in our individual worlds. Whatever your world is, that is available for the shining of the light. It doesn't matter what it is. The foolish idea has been so firmly held by some that they should be somewhere else doing something else. Well in a way I suppose that's true, because they are not doing what they should be doing where they are. The only world anyone has is the world where he is now. It doesn't matter what it is, that's the world; that's where the light needs to shine. It has nothing to do with the seeming circumstances; it doesn't matter how the world may look. If the light isn't shining one doesn't see it anyway. But when the light does shine in that world it will be found to be something entirely different to what one thought it was.


One doesn't need to move anywhere. Let your light so shine exactly where you are! Where else could you let it shine? To say “I will let it shine if I go over there” is a cop-out. If you can't let it shine here you certainly can't let it shine where you are not. Let the light shine exactly where one is. One is there to let the light shine. That's why one is where one is. And when the light shines creation occurs. The light will not shine if one is fussing about where one is, if one is imagining that one should be somewhere else, or doing something else, or that “the folk who are around me in my world are not treating me the way I should be treated,” or whatever it is. All that is beside the point. That is what is seen in the dark. Let the light shine and it's transformed immediately! “Well I'll think about it. Maybe it'll be better tomorrow. I'll be feeling better tomorrow and I'll be able to let the light shine.” Well what will make you feel better, do you think? Staying in the dark? Let your light so shine now. That is always the natural thing to occur. And when it does, all things are made new.


The light is stable. It's always present—sometimes more intense, sometimes less so, but it's always present. There is always that point of orientation. It's obviously there when the sun shines but it's also there when the morning star is present. It provides a point of orientation. The yoke is easy and the burden light. We saw the burden this morning, relating it to the physical form which is somewhat burdensome. That burden, the form of Man, is Light. That is the nature and quality of the form of Man. It's fallen quite a ways from that experience. But the light is the creative power; by Him all things were made that are made. There is no problem from the standpoint of the light. The problem has been in the space which has been occupied by satan, but to which Lucifer now returns so that the light is borne.


How quickly the creation occurs as that steadfast light is maintained individually and consequently together. It is maintained individually in spite of pockets of darkness. I don't really know what they would be if the light is shining. The sole concern is to let the light shine. We may have had to be convinced heretofore that we were in the dark. Most people don't imagine that they are in the dark when they are. So one has to be convinced on that point; otherwise it would seem as though there was no need for the light—“Oh I have it already. I see, I know, I have my opinions.” That's the usual attitude: the person insisting that he is in the light when he is in the dark. Well as long as one is in that condition there is no hope. One must come to an awareness that one is in the dark. Then there is the recognition that the light must shine and there is consequently—one would suppose, if there is any intelligence around—a willingness to let the light shine. And behold the darkness vanishes away.


So in every circumstance, in every moment of our living, let your light so shine.

In the consideration of the problems of the world in relationship to God and to the Cosmic Plan, it is necessary that the approach be with clear vision, beholding all in perspective; with true Spiritual Understanding based in the Eternal Love of God and of the Christ Love, in true recognition of the Brotherhood of Mankind; with a willingness to face the facts as they are, with no emotionalism—for emotionalism has clouded issues, and distorted man's concepts throughout the greater portion of the period of recorded history. I take no sides in any matter. I am for the Truth, without respect to race or creed. As a whole, the world needs re-direction. Those who read my Word with an Eye to the Word within the word, willing to understand in Spirit and in Truth, will recognize the Open Way, and they will hear my Voice, even as they have heard my Voice in all generations. To all who shall inquire as to my authority, my answer is, “I AM THAT I AM hath sent me.”


Since the days of Abraham I have dwelt much with the Children of Israel, and the righteous have given heed to my Word which I have spoken through the centuries by commandment of the LORD OUR GOD. Since the days of the Garden of Eden I have dwelt at appointed times in all nations and with all peoples. There is no land on earth that has not heard my spoken Word, and there is no people on earth but what has been changed at the sound of my Voice. I am ageless, without beginning and without end. Those who harken unto me, find the Open Way before them, that they may know God, even as God knows them. Those who scoff at my Voice and at my Word, find that the Bottomless Pit is opened unto them, and they go into oblivion. In the Motherland my Voice called in all Love to the peoples of the earth, but the masses of mankind harkened not, but scoffed at my Word, and so it was that they perished in the Fire which engulfed the Garden of Eden. Before the flood was, I was sent of God to warn the peoples of the earth, but again they scoffed, and all of the then known peoples, save Noah and the members of his Tribe who obeyed my Word, were engulfed in the destroying waters. I was sent unto the Egyptians of old, bearing the Word of the LORD, but they harkened not, and in their rebellion they perished as a nation. Out of their failure a New Issue was born in the earth, and under my hand the Children of Israel became a great nation, though I had first made a great nation out of Egypt.


At this time of world crisis I am come unto you with the Word of the LORD. Any of the Children of Israel is a true Child of God, regardless of race or blood, only to the degree that he is true to the Spiritual Calling by which he is supposed to bring Love, and Peace, and a Realization of the Fatherhood of God, and the Brotherhood of Man, into the world. Any man or woman, regardless of race or color is one of the Children of Israel to the degree that he or she functions in harmony with the Cosmic Plan. I offer the Open Way to all peoples of every race—for we have no need to fight against any. Your first responsibility is to the Brotherhood of Mankind, and it is only in properly fulfilling that responsibility that you can be of True Service. As you Respond to your Lord within yourself you will be assured that it is the only Real Way. You may begin to be a true Leader by letting your own reactions be of Reality, that your Radiation of Realization into the world consciousness may begin to pull the Responding Ones into the Central Way. Meanwhile, there will be suffering by many, but if you refrain from taking advantage of this opportunity, they will suffer anyway, and you will have done nothing worthwhile. Therefore, function as One in the Brotherhood of Mankind, and refuse to withdraw into a shell of fear and hate.


Now I would unfold for you, to a small degree, a great Truth which the world's wise men have failed to see—and as they have ignored it, all their efforts are in vain. The world which man has made has brought forth after its kind by reason of the Creative Power granted unto man, which man has used in self-activity. The child of the world which man has made, and in which all the highest and lowest of man's expression is focalized, betrayed the trust God gave unto them, they became, in their self-activity, a man-made world within a man-made world—with the smaller of the two being the symbol of the greater. Israel was supposed to be a people through whom a God-made world might be released within the man-made world, that the God-made world might expand and fill the whole earth, transforming the man-made world through the Fire of Love—which Fire was symbolized by the Altar Fires of the Temple.


Within the worldly hell which man had made for himself, the Israelites were lifted up by God, under the hand of Moses, that through them all peoples of the earth might likewise be lifted up. However, instead of serving, they began to look with contempt on those whom they were supposed to bless. Therefore, the greater portion of Israel was dispersed, and caused to lose its consciousness of the estate to which it had been lifted, while the lesser portion, wherein there was the greater pride, was granted its desire to be separate from the world, and so did they fall from its high estate into a hell of its own making, thereby establishing a hell within a hell, even a man-made world within a man-made world. Thereby was man's first fall re-enacted within the scope of man's own awareness, that man might have historical knowledge of it, so that he might learn his lesson in due season, in that he refused to learn it in the Easy Way which God had made possible to him. As we near the climax of the history of man's world, it is natural that a number of conditions should come forth as evidence of man's misuse of the great opportunities granted unto him. Truly, all the Earnest Ones of all nations, and tongues and peoples are the Children of Israel, according to their response to the Most High.


Another result to be seen, is that of the soullessmisshapen monster, which has been formed in the hell within a hell, and which has been fed upon lusts of every kind: upon fear, upon hate, upon greed, and upon desire for power, so that this monster is now being released by its creators, and caused to come forth into the outer hell, that it may swallow up the world which man has made, and that through it, according to their plan, its creators may rule the whole earth. Nevertheless, though it may seem to gain the victory, and though it may strike terror to the hearts of those who begin to see it, so that they are, in turn, caused to do things most hideous in their attempts to fight against it, there is a Decree gone forth from the Most High, for thus saith the LORD God of Hosts:



This thing which man has made in his pride, and by which he thinks to set himself up in the high places of the earth,

Behold, it shall return with vengeance upon those who made it, and it shall devour its creators from the face of the whole earth,

and Lo, there shall be no rest for them Day nor Night until they shall all have perished;

whereupon the monster shall die the death eternal, and My Kingdom shall fill the whole Earth.

Behold I, the LORD Thy God, have spoken it by the mouth of My faithful Servant,

that those who hear his Voice may not fear for those things which come to pass on the earth,

but that all who will may abide in My Love and in My Peace.

Repent, therefore, and come out of her, My People, that ye be not partakers of her sins.

Come unto Me, and I will give you Rest.


In the world, without respect to nation, race or creed, there are two primary Groups, and each has a Destiny—not a destiny of fate but a destiny by choice. Every man, woman and child upon the face of the earth will harmonize with one group or the other, according to the free right of choice vested in each one. One Group will cling to the man-made world, and struggle to maintain hell on earth, and sacrifice to the foul gods of the volcano which erupts the corruptions of hell. The other Group, whose Destiny by choice is that of the Eternal Kingdom, shall be to the world in this day, that which the Children of Israel could have been in the days of old. All who Respond to Reality, and let go in Love, shall surely be uplifted into this Group of Earnest Ones, whose Destiny is controlled by God through the Third Sacred School.


In the Third Sacred School there is an understanding of the Way. No matter how wise the children of men may be, we are wiser still. No matter how cunning the works of man may be, and no matter how destructive, we will not fight against them, but we will use them in accomplishing the Will of God. No matter how much man may try to fight against us, we cannot be hurt nor disturbed, for man can find nothing to take hold of, and his every effort against us will but be turned upon his own head, and he shall destroy himself. Only those who Respond in Love will be able to see the Open Way. As far as we are concerned, there are only two Groups in the world, and these Groups I have already outlined to you. Each must make his own choice. Shortly there will be no half-way place. Rapidly it is reaching a point where you either are, or you are not, on the side of God. No ifs or buts of any kind have any weight—you can have no reservations when you come to find the Open Way. Those who come with reservations will find that their reservations await them and will carry them away into the hells which man has made. From within the Temple of Light, where sinful man cannot come no matter how he may try, we use all the forces which man generates in the world according to our will, which is the Will of God working through us. The great forces by which man has thought to gain his own ends, and which he has so painstakingly built with great struggle, we now take and use, and man is helpless to prevent it, no matter who, nor where, nor what he may be, nor of what world group he may be a part. Since this is true, we have nothing to fear from the world. We will receive those who receive us, but we will depart from those who receive us not, and we shall shake the dust from our feet as we go, withdrawing our peace from them, that they may quickly reap that which they have sown. No matter how lowly, or how sinful, or how limited, or how insignificant, any may be, if he will but Respond in Love we will gladly Serve him where he is, and if he shall be steadfast we shall lift him up in the Ascending Flame. However, we shall ignore these who respond not, and though they suffer the tortures of the hell which they created, we will be unmoved until they shall Respond to us. In no case will we respond to them.



Those who come within the Third Sacred School will learn what it is to obey in Love and in Joy. Those who refuse to obey, or who are not truthful in word and in deed, and who turn away in thought and in attitude, shall be quickly released, that they may go the way of their choice, and we will not cling to them, but let them go. Our Power is greater than all the power of all nations on earth, and the wealth of those who think they are rich is as nothing before us. Those who prove to be worthy, and those who are of a Pure Heart, shall know of the Way and of the Program of God, but the Way and the Program are fully hidden from all others, and they cannot be found out by the children of men.


Thrice blessed are they who come out of these two worlds, that they may dwell in the World which God has made, and which is now in the earth. Insofar as the Third Sacred School is concerned all are the children of men who need to become the Children of God. He who fights against any race or nation, fights against himself—and by his own fighting shall he be destroyed. He who hates any man, or any ruler, or any race, thereby hates himself, and hate shall devour him. He who lets the Christ Love Radiate to all alike, responding to no man, but Responding to the LORD of Lords and KING of Kings, so that he functions truly in the Third Sacred School, shall find that Love shall devour him, and he shall be lifted up into Oneness with his Lord.


There is only One Way for all mankind, no matter of what race, and all must be willing to accept that Way or he shall surely be a partaker of the doom of the world. The fires of one hell are burning into the fires of the other hell, and each shall consume the other until neither shall be any more at all forever and ever. Rejoice in the LORD that it is so. In this every Earnest One of every race finds a Call to Service, that through Response he may function in the Creative Cycle by which the world movements may be stabilized, and caused to swing toward that Perfect State which is the Will of God for all people. In the Radiance of the Christ Love all Needs of all peoples will be filled, first with the vibrations of Perfection, that around the vibrations a new and Perfect Form may manifest and function. Those who Respond to Love will be used by God in performing His Wonders in the earth, but those who respond to hate and fear shall surely destroy themselves. Let Love Radiate, to all alike, that each may receive according to his or her Response.
