The Way of Life is The Way of Joy and Happiness

The  Way  of  Life

is

The  Way  of  Joy  and  Happiness

from  The  Mystery  of  Love  Unveiled  #1

Uranda   1937

The subject which we now take up for study requires that we be of pure minds, and that we be willing to face the facts of life in a safe and sane manner. God created the human body in His image and likeness. God is a creator—the Creator of all that is. Man, created in the likeness of God, must have within himself the potential powers of his Creator. Creative force is expressive in all three phases of man’s being, and we must not think of it as being limited to the physical body. In this lesson we will study creative force as it relates to the physical body—let us keep in mind, as we study this lesson, that we are studying a great and wonderful force that is not in any way limited to any one plane of life.

God created every part of our bodies, and He pronounced our bodies “good,” therefore we must consider every part as being equally good. One part of the body is not better than another, and we need be ashamed of no part, for God has called our bodies “good.” We are not interested in surrounding any truth with mystery. Our desire is to unveil the mysteries which man has, through ignorance, created. When the mystery is torn away and we are privileged to see the truth as it is we can govern our lives intelligently, and happiness, health and success will result. Every human being has the divine right to be happy, healthy and successful. It is the aim of these lessons to help you receive that which is already yours by divine right.

So many foul ideas concerning sex have been instilled into the minds of human beings that it is difficult to disseminate knowledge on this subject without being misunderstood. “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.” Those who are pure in heart are those who see God in everything, everywhere. The pure in heart are so busy seeing the beauty and glory and wonder of God in all things, that they have no time to waste seeing the evil and the sordid. Therefore let us take up this study in purity of heart and in purity of mind, that we may see the good which God saw in our bodies when He created them. Let us see the good which God sees in our bodies today. “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.”

We will take up the study of those facts which are little known, and give consideration to those things which will help the student attain to the fulness of life. The aim of our study will be to guide the student who truly desires to enjoy the blessings and happiness of a spiritual life.

Love is the highest law known to man, and it is through love that man can attain to the greatest heights. Love relates to every phase of man’s being, and it is God’s will that man should know the laws by which the law of love is governed on every plane of man’s being. Let us analyze love.

Love, as man knows it, first makes itself known on the mental plane. Before man can know love he must become conscious in his mind of that which he may love. After man has become aware in his mind of that which he may love, he experiences a strange feeling of attraction to, or repulsion from, that of which he is aware. Therefore the second step in love is also of the mind. The individual must decide what his reaction shall be toward that which comes within his field of awareness. When the individual has decided what his reaction, that is, his attitude toward and his action toward, shall be he brings his mental decision into expression in his physical body. In this third step the individual does one of two things. He either feels a desire to bring that of which he is aware into close association and union with himself, and he acts accordingly, or else he feels a desire to avoid and keep separate from that of which he is aware, and again he acts accordingly. This repulsive action of love is spoken of in its more extreme forms as hate. A person never dislikes another person or thing unless he has within himself the power to love that person or thing. All persons or things which produce no reaction within the individual are neither loved nor disliked. There are a multitude of such instances in the life of every individual. In all such cases the individual is not aware of any specific relation between himself and the person or thing involved. He simply ignores, without either love or hate, with the result that the person or thing so ignored does not have any specific influence on his life.

There remains now a fourth step in the process of true love, and it is the failure to take this fourth step which causes the misery and sorrow in the world. In fact all of the trouble, sorrow and misery in the world can be traced directly to this one cause, and it is in this that the great importance of this lesson hinges. A person should never begin the expression of love toward any person or thing unless he is certain within himself that he can take this fourth step as it relates to the person or thing loved. If this fourth step is not taken, the partial, or thwarted, expression of love will bring only heartache, sorrow and suffering. The expression of love always brings a rich blessing and abundant joy and happiness when this fourth step is fully taken. Here is the key to all happiness. Here is the key to all success. Here is the key to life, as compared with mere existence.

The fourth step in love is to uplift and carry in conscious realization the person or thing loved into the spiritual expression of the human trinity, so that there is a realization of spiritual union in love sublime.

This spiritual union in love, the fourth, final and most important step in love, is above everything physical and mental. This this is the Seventh Mystery of the Seventh Plane. Those who have experienced true and complete love will know what is here meant. Those who have never completed love in the spiritual will not yet understand, though the way is hereby opened up to them so that they also may enter in.

This shows why it is that the sex union between man and woman, whether in or out of the marriage tie, that is indulged in for only physical and mental pleasure is harmful and will bring sad results. It is only when such union is culminated in the spiritual that it is the holy expression of pure love. To say that the sex union should only be made for purposes of reproduction is to say that mankind is functioning on the animal planes with brute beasts who know nothing of the spiritual. Sex, like all other things which God created, is good. It is the wrong use of sex that brings sorrow and suffering. Man can misuse all the good things to which he has access, and by so doing man has created all the evil that is in the world. He who controls sex desire has access to a wonderful power by which much good may be made manifest. He who is controlled by sex desire is using a terrible power which is making much evil manifest. Self-control must be attained if one would know joy. Many people imagine that the development of self-control in regard to sex will rob them of much pleasure. This erroneous idea is the cause of much misery, and only misery can come from it. If such people only realized the joy and supreme bliss which is known by those who know and use the law of love, they would resolve before God to prove themselves worthy of true joy. The way of life is the way of joy and happiness. Let us enter therein today.

In self-control is the happy solution to all sex problems. Through the practice of self-control the joy of the sex union may be increased a thousandfold, for thereby the individual becomes the master of his body. Through mastery of the body and all of its functions as related to sex, it is possible to gain that full satisfaction which comes with completed love union in the physical. By this means it is possible for those who are in certain states of consciousness to make true spiritual development. There comes a time when the love union of the physical plane can be transcended, that the individual may experience still greater joys through the completion of the love union in the spiritual plane without the medium of the body. The perfect joy and bliss of such union cannot be described in words, and only those who have attained to it can understand it. The vast majority of people have not yet attained to that plane of expression, and until they do it is necessary that they express through the medium of the body.

The increased attention which is being given to matters of sex throughout the world today is the natural outworking of this law. There are those who are interpreting this new freedom of expression in terms of licentiousness for the gratification of physical passion, without taking the final step in the expression of complete love, and all such will have to suffer the penalty which they bring upon themselves by their own acts. Nevertheless this increased attention to matters of sex is a good sign, for the leaven is working, and those who truly seek the Way in all earnestness will find the solution to their problems. In all advances into higher planes of expression there are those who wilfully or ignorantly become confused on the issue, and they are those who are sacrificed on the stinking altar of mankind’s greed and selfishness. It is not necessary that anyone be so sacrificed. It is your privilege to see and know the way, and to avoid, if you will, the pitfalls into which many are falling. Sex is not to be condemned. Neither is the expression of sex wrong in itself. But it is the wrong use of sex that brings suffering and sorrow.

When a person has not yet attained to the perfect joy of the complete fruition of love in spiritual expression a certain amount of controlled sex expression in the physical body is necessary. He who fights against this great truth, so that he represses his desires in an unnatural way, will find that such repression will bring sad results. All people should avoid the curse of repression. Repressed sex desires are the cause of many disturbances. Such repression forces the life energies to take unnatural avenues of expression, such as cruelty, malicious gossiping, intolerance, crabbedness, selfishness, morbidness of some kinds, quick temper—and various kinds of self-righteous attitudes in which the individual is always looking for something to condemn in other people. Love, full, pure, true love, is the only thing in heaven or earth that can sanctify the sex union. True love, in all of its four steps, is the only way in which God joins people together.

I Am An Open Window Of Heaven

I Am An Open Window Of Heaven

Uranda

"I am in the earth as a deep, still pool of crystal clear water, out of which runs a River of Life"

They who look upon me, behold themselves reflected in me. That which any may see in me, of which he would judge me, is that which is in himself—and his reflection in me cannot defile me, no matter what it is that he may think he sees in me.

He who truly looks into me, first begins to see his own Lord within himself, and then, having become aware of his own Lord, he becomes aware of me as I AM from Eternity to Eternity—and then, as he keeps looking, he finds that instead of a pool only, I am also an Open Window of Heaven through whom the Faithful One may begin to see our Great Master.

When the vision of such an one has become truly clear, he finds that the Open Window allows a perfect view of the LORD of Lords and KING of Kings, Who is I AM THAT I AM.

The Intervening Provision

from

The  Intervening  Provision

Martin Cecil   April 16, 1978

There is a very specific configuration of angels who provide the connection

between the One and the yielded human heart.

This is not a haphazard jumble of angelic beings but a very specific configuration.

"After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter. And immediately I was in the spirit; and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne."

There is One who sits on the throne, not half a dozen. We have some awareness of the reality of the One Law, of the truth as it relates to what has been called focalization; this is a fact of life. The reality of life, the true tone of life, is made evident because of this fact. There is One who sits on the throne. In order that this might come out of the realm of imagination into the realm of true experience the throne which is in heaven must be made known. The composition of that throne is angelic; in other words it is formed of angels, angels who function in heaven, in the realm of cause, revealing the reality of the One who sits upon the throne. It is because of this One, because of this supreme point of focus, that agreement is made possible, that oneness is made possible.

This One who sits upon the throne we have seen as relating not only to an invisible point but to an undimensional point. The throne itself is dimensional. It is a reality in heaven, the realm of cause for this earth. The heaven and the earth are the two aspects of the dimensional world, but the throne is set in heaven. This is certainly invisible from the earthly standpoint but quite knowable from the angelic standpoint. There is then a heavenly facility by which the One extends His authority and His government into the world. That authority and that government spring alone from that One. We may speak of that One, we may identify that One by using words, perhaps the Lord God, the LORD of Lords, the Lord of Love, but the use of words of course does not acquaint us with that One. We are only acquainted with that One to the extent that we are actually centered in that One, that all our love is offered to that One, nothing whatsoever held out.

The whole capacity to love in the human sense must be yielded to the One who sits upon the throne if the first great commandment is to be kept.  "Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all." How is this to be done? The only way by which we may love God is through the provision which He has made by which we might do so—an intervening provision. There is something between the yielded human heart and God, something to provide a connection.

There is a reality in heaven. There is the throne, the throne upon which the One sits. The throne is in the heaven. The One is above the throne. The only way by which one may come in yielded love to the One who is above the throne is through or by reason of the throne. Now we are just using symbolic words to describe something here.

There is a very specific configuration of angels who provide the connection between the One and the yielded human heart. This is not a haphazard jumble of angelic beings, but as I say, there is a very specific configuration. That configuration was described in this particular chapter in earthly terms, and those earthly terms have not meant very much to human beings generally speaking, because they had no experience of the reality which was being described.

There is the necessity for this throne to become known in heaven on earth. It is a reality in heaven already; it doesn't have to be made so. But because human beings have been functioning in the earth, below the veil, and the heaven has been unknown, and must remain unknown as long as the earth of human experience is held out as something separate. The heaven is then hidden; there is a veil between. What is real must be experienced to be known and it can't be experienced as it is merely on the basis of imagination or of an endeavor to believe something.

So heaven is a present reality and the throne is present in the heaven. The design by which the yielded heart may receive the truth of heaven into spiritual expression on earth is present by reason of the fact that the angels who compose it are present. We recognize those angels as being present insofar as we personally are concerned by reason of the fact of incarnation in human form. The presence of the angel in human form sustains the life in that human form and was responsible for the building of that human form in the first place. So certainly the composition of the throne is very close. It's very close to each individual. The very cause of life in personal experience is a part of that throne.

As angelic expression begins to characterize our experience we begin to discover associations emerging. We find ourselves associated with others who are experiencing the same thing. We find this to be true not because we set out to choose this one or that one to associate with but it naturally happens. Sometimes there has been objection to the happening. Sometimes those who found themselves associating with each other didn't much care for the idea in the human sense, but the human sense really has no bearing in the matter at all; we are concerned with what is the fact, the reality in heaven. Wisely we do not buck that reality. We accept the outer circumstance for what it is; it's there after all. We certainly do not indulge in wishful thinking, in wishful desires that it might be some other way. Human beings imagine that they can be ruled by their hearts and by their mental concepts, thereby finding fulfilment in some human pattern of relationship. Effective personal relationships emerge when we are not being ruled by our hearts and minds—there is the need for spirit to find expression, spirit which will govern the operation of the heart and the operation of the mind and the operation of the body.

So, as ever, our concern is with true spirit. If the world is to be restored to the One who sits upon the throne, there is only one way, and that is through what has been spoken of as the Christ, or in other terms the Lamb, or in still another term, Shekinah. This is present in the heaven because of the angels who are present in the heaven, differentiating the spirit of the One who sits upon the throne, differentiating that spirit in the heaven. The differentiation of that spirit doesn't change it; it merely causes it to be comprehensible. As long as it remains undifferentiated in the One, it is not comprehensible. As it is differentiated by the angels in the heaven it becomes comprehensible, and the angels compose the design by which authority and government may be extended into the earth. It is only on the basis of response because of the throne that anyone can be restored to the One who sits upon the throne. That is in fact what we have spoken of as the restoration. Mankind is to be restored to the One who sits upon the throne.

Restoration implies a coming again; in other words this experience of being one with the One who sits upon the throne was known on earth before. It is known in heaven now. Because it is known in heaven now it can be known on earth now, and we have the opportunity of so yielding human hearts in love toward the One who sits upon the throne, but in a specific sense toward that configuration of angels which compose the throne. No man cometh unto the Father, unto the One who sits upon the throne, but by what intervenes. The angelic design in heaven intervenes. Human beings have been trying to come directly to God, usually on the basis of some imaginary figure, but there is only one way.

There is the way, the truth and the life. "I am the way, the truth, and the life." The true angelic identity of the individual is the way, the truth and the life for that person, and only through the angel is it possible to be restored to the One who sits upon the throne. Collectively speaking we have spoken of the Archangel, utilizing that word to describe the focus of the collective identity in heaven; one might say the throne identity, the identity of the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne. The composition of this throne is of angels, in a very specific configuration. It requires a very specific configuration for the creative process to work. It was designed this way—the design has not changed; it's the same as it always has been.

If we begin to have experience of spiritual expression in living, so that we begin to know ourselves in angelic consciousness, we find that there are associations emerging between angels.  Necessarily the human element tags along, but the association is between angels if it is real, if it is a part of the design, if it is included in the throne upon which there is One who sits. We find ourselves in these associations. If we lose our angelic vision and return to the human view then we discover that there are all kinds of things that are not pleasing or not right, we think, in our associations with this one or that one.  We look upon each other and we say, "I don't like that person." The angelic association has nothing to do with human likes and dislikes. Human likes and dislikes will distract people from the experience of the angelic association. They get hung up in human nature.

We are presumably very much concerned for the clear experience of angelic association. In this regard, there are specific configurations—there are associations which specifically include certain angels. We need to reach a point where we can assemble groupings of people. As angels we have our parts to play and that's all there is to it, and we play our parts in relationship to others. If the creative purposes for which we are here as angels are to be fulfilled there is the need for a great variety of these groupings for very particular purposes. The human mind may not understand. Why should it? Why be bothered if the human mind does not understand? Don't identify yourself with it and you won't be bothered.

We need to get on with the job, and as we do get on with the job, without indulging ourselves in any reactionary attitudes, there begins to be a more specific point of focus and orientation for human beings everywhere. It is by reason of these various groupings that people can be touched in various ways, depending upon what is present with respect to the angels concerned, the nature of the spirit that is being differentiated and also taking into account the earthly heredity of the particular form of the individual, because we have our connections on this basis with people everywhere. We are designed to use these connections, but we certainly can't use these connections other than in angelic consciousness. Let it work out on the basis of the angelic expression and it will be right. It is the fact of these various configurations that provides the means of connecting up with every aspect that is present in the consciousness of mankind so that all who will may become increasingly aware of the specific nature of the connection with the One who sits upon the throne.

No one can circumvent that connection and reach the One who sits upon the throne. Human beings in their human nature patterns like to imagine that they have their special connections, but there is only one way, one truth, one life, and it relates to identification individually, in a specific sense, with the reality of one's own angelic nature; in the collective sense with the hosts of heaven who are all already centered in the One who sits upon the throne and already differentiating that one spirit. Because of this the restoration of man to his true state is made possible. We share this responsibility. It has been said that we need to grow up; that means that we need to accept the angelic identity. Then we know why we are here.

There is nothing personal anymore that we hold out for our own. It is all included in the overall purpose of our presence on earth, and if we need to be a part of one group for a specific purpose and not a part of another group, well that's the way it is, that's what we are here for; and we begin to find out that we actually fit in these configurations. We discover that it is a most fitting state of affairs, a delightful state of affairs, and we see the creative cycles moving and unfolding in all directions, all coordinated by reason of the one spirit which in differentiated expression is providing what is necessary on earth by which the transformation occurs in human consciousness and man, mankind, is restored.

I am thankful for the privilege of sharing these things with you this evening, that there may be an increasing awareness of angelic associations and an increasing willingness to let those associations take a specific pattern, a specific pattern according to the design of the throne in heaven. That after all is what we are here to do as angels.
