The Mystery of Physical Birth
The Mystery of Physical Birth
from
The Mystery of Love Unveiled #1
Uranda 1937
Now let us consider the mystery of physical
birth from the female. The man and woman who are drawn together in true love,
and are mated from the standpoint of divine law, are so constituted that they
balance each other, so that each makes up for the lacks in the other. Thus they
blend into one, as a complete whole. The man will average from 60 to 90 percent
masculine and positive, with the remaining 10 to 40 percent being feminine and
negative. The woman will average from 60 to 90 percent feminine and negative,
with the remaining 10 to 40 percent being positive and masculine. There are a
few extremes which go beyond these figures, but most people will come somewhere
within them. Thus a masculine woman will attract a feminine man, and a very
masculine man will attract a very feminine woman. This is nature’s way of
balancing people.
In the physical expression the woman is negative
and has the most to do with bringing physical children into the world, while
the father, being positive, has very little to do with bringing children into
the world. This is reversed in the mental plane. The importance of this point
is found in the fact that the receptive phase of expression is the one which
brings forth creation. Here in the physical planes we find an important key by
which we may understand the secrets of creative force on the higher planes of
being.
The negative is always external to the positive.
In other words the positive forms the center of force, while the negative
surrounds the center of force as the body thereof. To understand the creative
force which allows physical birth, man and woman must be considered as one. As
long as they are thought of as two the mystery cannot be understood. When they
are seen as the two halves blended
into one it becomes understandable. Considering now the one, we
see the negative female-half as the body in which the positive male-half
functions. The woman-half completely surrounds the man-half, and in the
physical planes she is the body and he is the soul. In the mental plane this is
reversed, as we shall see.
Since the woman-half is the body for the man-half here in the physical planes, reproduction of the physical must take place in the woman-half. In the physical planes the man-half has a body only as he expresses through the woman-half. Therefore the man-half furnishes the soul seed which makes possible the birth of a physical child. When the woman-body receives the soul seed from the man soul under the right conditions, that is, when body seed or ovum is present and the Spirit Soul is present at the same time so that it projects the focalized point of its light body into the soul seed supplied by the man-half, conception takes place and the body of the child begins to form. When the child body is sufficiently formed, which is at about four and one-half months, the Spirit Soul that was present at the time of conception enters into the child body and the mother feels the fluttering of life in her womb.
The Spirit Soul which is to incarnate in the
child body which is being formed is always present during all the period of
gestation, from conception onward, and it furnishes the pattern for the body
that is being formed. The Spirit Soul furnishes a perfect pattern, and if the
mother furnishes the right materials for the formation of a body, and if the
father has furnished perfect soul seed, the child body will be perfect in every
respect according to the pattern furnished by the Spirit Soul which is
incarnating. If the soul seed is imperfect, or if the mother does not furnish
the right materials from her food, through a clean, wholesome body, the child
body will be imperfectly formed and will not attain to the perfection of the
pattern furnished by the Spirit Soul. Here is the secret of conception. There
is here much food for thought and study. This shows the part that is played by
the mother, by the father, and by the soul that is incarnating into the child
body, and how these three elements must be taken into consideration in order to
understand the mystery of physical birth. When either the father or the mother
fails to do their part the perfect pattern does not come forth into
manifestation. The Soul always does its part well, so that the result depends
upon the halves that should be one.
Thus we see that the man-half furnishes the soul
seed which allows the Spirit Soul to begin to function in the body seed, or
ovum, which is supplied by the woman-half. The Spirit Soul has no means by
which it can impregnate the body seed in the woman-half until the soul seed
supplied by the man-half has entered into the body seed of the woman-half, for
the soul seed forms the connecting link between the body seed in the woman-half
and the Spirit Soul which is incarnating. Thus we see that the Spirit Soul is
the true father of the babe, and that the man-half only furnishes the soul seed
which allows the Spirit Soul to impregnate the body seed with life.
The life which causes the child body to develop
and grow comes from the Spirit Soul. The father and mother of the child do not
supply the positive life force, although they do supply the negative life
force. These are the unveiled mysteries of physical birth from the woman.
Understanding these things, we see why it is that the sex organs are the most
sacred organs of the body, and why it is that misuse of them is so disastrous
in result. Also it is clear that the right use of the sex organs will help to
draw one into a higher spiritual life and increase the responsiveness of the
individual to the Soul within himself, that the perfection of the Soul may fill
his whole body.
This brings us to a study of conservation of the
sex energies. Conservation does not mean “to hoard,” but it does mean “to use
wisely without waste.” True conservation is the right use of the sex energies,
so that the individual may receive the greatest possible joy, happiness and
success in life. The energies which are released within our bodies are directed
into the channels of expression to which we give most of our attention. This is
the key to conservation. The average person gives a great deal of attention to
his body desires and appetites. Consequently most of the average person’s
energy is used in satisfying his body desires. The only satisfactory method of
redirecting the sex energies is through a change of the thoughts, so that the
attention is held steadfastly on spiritual attainment. In order to do this
successfully it is necessary that we understand the mysteries of creative power
on both the mental and spiritual planes of expression.
These subjects will be fully covered in the next
lessons, so that when you have completed your study of them you will be in
position to apply the laws of conservation to your own life and realize the
joys and blessings that are poured out upon those who look to the spiritual for pleasures that are real and
lasting.

The Inner Fire of Life
The Inner Fire of Life
from The Mystery of Love Unveiled #1
Uranda 1937
The inner fire of
life as it relates to
the physical body is stored up in the sacral plexus, at the base of the spine.
The sacral plexus might be called the storage battery of the body. This inner
fire lies dormant in most people, but when it is aroused and controlled, so
that it is directed into constructive channels of expression, the individual
has the power to attain any goal which he may set for himself. All great men
and women who have accomplished seemingly impossible things have used,
consciously or unconsciously, this inner fire, to a certain degree at least.
The greater the degree to which the inner fire was used the greater was the
degree of accomplishment. The actual use of this inner fire will be explained
in the next two lessons, but it is necessary to mention it here in order to
bring out its relationship to the physical body. Within the sacral plexus of
every individual this great power is hidden, and it remains dormant until the
individual begins to practice self-control according to the laws of life.
The energy released from the body through
uncontrolled sex expression is wasted insofar as the individual is concerned.
Through the practice of self-control, it is possible to conserve this energy,
and herein is the great secret. For all the sex
energy that is conserved and directed upward in the body
through the practice of self-control, a like amount of the inner fire is released from the sacral plexus. The individual has power to achieve the so-called impossible to the degree that the inner fire is released, for with the release of the inner fire
the individual is filled with a fire and zeal, and a boundless energy, that can
surmount every obstacle and achieve every goal.
The conservation of the sex energy comes through
controlled expression, and not through repression.
Control of the sex energies comes through a true expression of love. In the next lessons we will give the secrets
which relate to the mental and spiritual expression of love, and show how the
sex union can be culminated in love from the standpoint of those two planes of
being. Here we will confine ourselves as much as possible to the physical
plane.
When the sex union is activated only by a love
of the physical body, or a love of the organs involved, or by a love of the
sensation by which the physical passion is satisfied, the union is always
followed by a repulsion, so that both parties to the union are irritable and
harsh toward each other and there is a desire to be separate one from the
other. This desire to be separate may be counteracted by a feeling of jealousy,
so that neither wants the other to be with anyone else, yet the after effects
are anything but pleasing. Such people do not have any particular attraction
one for the other until the sex organs have again been filled with energy, when
the one thought that is uppermost is a desire for sex union. The motive which
activates such a sex union is always selfish, with the individuals giving first
thought to the amount of physical pleasure each one can receive for himself.
Such unions as these are always adultery, whether the individuals are married
or not.
It is also adultery in cases where one is so
activated while the other expresses in true love. The union is not adultery
insofar as he himself is concerned, but he would not seek such a union because
he would know that it would be adultery to the one who was activated only by
physical passion. In the case of a man and his wife, the one who truly loved
would not refuse the other, because of love, in the hope that the one loved
would respond to love and be uplifted. Thereby the one who truly loved could
tend to draw the other into love at those times when the other desired union,
but the one who loved would never seek such a union and would enter into it
only under the marriage law. Outside of marriage the one who loved would never
think of entering into union with one who was activated only by passion.
Also, in the case of man and wife where both are
activated by true love, and one has reached a point of spiritual development
where the physical union is no longer required in order to enter into the
spiritual union, while the other has not so attained but requires the physical
union in order to experience the spiritual union, it is well that the one who
is more advanced be willing to enter the physical union for the sake of his
mate.
After the spiritual fruition of the true union
in the physical there is nothing but tender love in the attitude of each mate
toward the other, and the lingering caresses are symbols of the continuance of
the spiritual union after the physical union has ceased. When one begins to
feel a sense of unrest and resentment toward the natural caresses that follow
the physical union, let that one beware, for such a feeling shows that the
union was not culminated in the spiritual. Here is the point where so many
married people, and especially newly married people, miss the mark of
perfection which brings lasting happiness. Continued entrance into the physical
union when there is no culmination in the spiritual union will gradually but
surely drive the mates apart, no matter how much they may have loved to begin
with. It is only through stopping the physical unions, in such cases, until the
spiritual attraction has again become uppermost that it is possible to keep the
marriage from disaster.
In such cases the attention has been lowered to the physical instead of maintaining the attention on the mate as an expression of divine love, in whom the physical is but a small part of the attraction felt. It is only when the attention of each mate is centered upon the good qualities of the other, in a way that gives each the desire to serve and please the other first, that the spiritual attraction can be maintained. When enough self-control is manifest on the part of each mate to make the sex unions far enough apart to ensure a culmination in the spiritual, the marriage will be happy and successful from a physical and mental standpoint. More than this is required in order to attain outstanding spiritual development, but that much will ensure a happy and successful marriage from the viewpoint of the world.
