Oneness

There are certain indications that some students in the School have an incomplete understanding about the Teaching of the School with respect to the Lord within, which has tended to hinder easy transition from the cycles of segregated individual expression to the cycle of coordination in the Unit. In order to focalize and clarify vision in this matter for all the Earnest Ones let us examine briefly the Truth of the matter.
Upon entrance into the Third Sacred School, one of the first great revelations of Truth which is essential to individual progress is the fact of the presence of the individual Lord within the body temple, coupled with a recognition of the perfection of the individual God Being. However, the student is immediately advised that the outer mind, or temple consciousness, is supposed to become one with the Mind of the Father within—which is to say that the Mind that was In Christ Jesus should be in each one. Emphasis was and is immediately placed upon the fact that the outer and the inner should be One, and that progress in the School is in fact movement toward that Oneness in the individual. If, in any instance, the student continues to imagine that as he comes closer into the Unit there will be an increasing awareness in the outer consciousness of direction from the Lord within, he will hinder his progress, for he thereby proves that he has failed to grasp the significance of the Teaching as it relates to the essential Oneness of the inner and the outer.
To the degree that there is true awareness of the Lord of Love and the Lord of Truth there is, automatically, Oneness between the temple consciousness and the Lord within, and the outer consciousness ceases to be concerned about trying to get into Oneness with the Father within—because it is already in Oneness and has no need to get into that state—or to try to receive direction from the Father within as if there were a continuation of the state of separation between the inner and the outer.
The progressive instruction in the Third Sacred School has been designed to establish a consciousness of the fact of the Father within, and then to inspire the expression, in life, of the Divine qualities of nobility of Being which are characteristic of the Father within, so that the inner and the outer should in fact be One—whereupon the continuing instruction, emphasizing the necessity of that Oneness, began to develop a consciousness of the Unit of the One Christ Body, wherein the many members of the Body began to have a true and vivid consciousness of the Lord of Love and the Lord of Truth.
As an actualized feeling consciousness of the Lord of Love and the Lord of Truth began to permeate the individual members of the Body, they were treated, individually and collectively, on the basis of the actuality of the Oneness of the inner and outer, even though the perfection of the Father was not in all respects in absolute manifestation. Therefore, if the student, to any degree, continues to think and act from the standpoint of a separation between his outer consciousness and his Father within, imagining that he should try to get direction from his Father within, he hinders his individual movement into the actual unification of the One Body.
It was not and is not intended that any individual should undertake to delude himself into thinking that he is completely One with his Lord, but it was emphasized that since the Father within each one is perfectly coordinated with the Lord of Love and the Lord of Truth it was made obvious that any deviation, in principle or function in Reality, from the expression of the Lord of Love and the Lord of Truth would certainly be out of harmony with the true expression of the Father within, therefore, each student was provided with an absolute free means of checking the course of his forward movement without being concerned about possible distinctions between the inner and outer in his own individual expression of Life.
As the principles and Truths relating to the Unit have been expounded it was made evident that the whole process was designed to establish a consciousness of Oneness—not just between the outer of the individual and his Lord within, but a Oneness of all the members of the Body in a consciousness of Body, or Unit, and Oneness with the Lord of Love and the Lord of Truth. Thus it is seen that the individual recognition, in a true, vital feeling sense, of the Lord of Love and the Lord of Truth indicates in an absolute sense the exact ratio of the individual function in Oneness with his Lord within.
However, the individual concept of this recognition is without weight except as function in that recognition has allowed the Spirit to bring forth the true fruits of the Christ Life in and through the individual members of the One Body. To this end the Way, the Truth and the Life, as actually made manifest in the One Body, has been clearly revealed through instruction and brought into manifestation through training, so that the individual consciousness might easily blend into the Unit consciousness in a realization of the Divine function of the Unit as One Body, through which the Greater Works, of which Jesus Christ spoke, might be effectively made manifest.
Let it be remembered that the primary purpose of this outline is to show that the consistent student in the Third Sacred School should not be any more concerned about his own Lord within himself as if he thought his Father within were separate from himself. Only as the individual lets himself be reborn, so that he worships God in Spirit and in Truth, can he know the actuality of these things, and bring forth the fruit that is properly made manifest through the Branches of the One Vine. Let all of these things be considered from the standpoint of a vivid realization of the actualized operation of the One Law.
Oneness not Twoness

Is it not the desire of all to give up human individuality, so that the individuality of the Lord may manifest? To re-emphasize one point here: “Emphasis was and is immediately placed upon the fact that the outer and the inner should be One, and that progress in the School is in fact movement toward that Oneness in the individual. Let us consider that for a moment, because if the individual is still concerned about his outer receiving direction from his Lord within, that very attitude brings about a separation between the two, because if they are One, the outer is not concerned about trying to get direction from the inner, because they are then One, and if they are One, then they are in harmony with the Divinely Focalized Plan. It is evident that there are three points of test: First — If the individual thinks there is Oneness and he is still concerned in the outer mind about getting direction from the Lord within, that brings separation because it is an acknowledgment of twoness and not Oneness; and Second — If there is Oneness there will be a recognition of the Lord of Love and the Lord of Truth; and Third — If there is Oneness there will be a bringing forth of the fruits of the Spirit as members of the One Body or branches of the One Vine. There are points of test clearly outlined here, so I see no reason for any excuse for confusion.
Human beings imagine that they will lose their individuality when they become members of the One Body. That means they want to be scattered entities and not unified entities, but unless there is coordination between the inner and the outer, there cannot be a manifestation of the individuality of the God Being. There is a manifestation of the human personality, and if there is Oneness in the individual, then there is automatically Oneness in the Unit, because the One God is made up of One Unit of God Beings.
The world of man is supposed to reveal the world of God. The One God is the unification of all God Beings focalized in the LORD of Lords. When Heaven and earth are one, the manifestation through man on earth must be the expression of the Unit, so that the Unit of Divine Men and Women is revealing the Unit of God Being on earth.

One Voice

We are with one accord in one place as we share One Spirit, one heart, one mind and one body. The One Tone of Life sounds throughout. We are One. I speak to all of you who hear my voice. There is One Voice, a voice which springs forth from One Spirit through one heart, one mind and one body. Present among this gathering today are many who have heard this voice and share in the articulation of it. This is the only way that the voice may be known. Long ago the Master, when He was on earth, stated that His sheep heard His Voice, but there were many who did not hear His Voice because they were not His sheep. This same voice resounds in the earth today, amplified in living expression as the Word is spoken by One Spirit through one heart, one mind and one body. Those who may be referred to as His sheep hear that voice. Those who are not His sheep do not hear that voice. Let us not imagine that everybody should hear that voice.
Those who are referred to as His sheep are those who have ears to hear, in other words whose living experience brings them into position to hear that Voice. Perhaps initially hearing that voice there may be the expectation of getting something because of it the expectation of being blessed somehow—and this is something that certainly does occur. But if that is all that is experienced there will come a time when the one who thought he or she heard that voice proves that he or she didn't. The only way to know the voice is to participate in the sounding of the Tone of it and in the articulation of the words of it. This is not the fact for anyone immediately.
Human beings have an immense amount of stuff with which they are filled, interfering with the processes of learning—learning to be mature men and women who do not require feeding constantly but are in position to participate in the sounding of that voice, the same voice as had first been heard and, being heard, interpreted. The interpretations are not the voice; they are interpretations. And this is what happens with people to start with: Even though the voice may be there, and there may be the idea that one is hearing the voice, what is heard is garbled, to say the least, by the state of consciousness of the individual concerned. It is only when there is a realization that one doesn’t need to be constantly fed by the sustenance that is supposed to be provided by this voice, that one may participate in the same process that made available the sustenance in the first place. So over a number of years human beings, giving evidence of much sluggishness, learn a little and participate in unison with that One Voice.
There is a differentiation—each individual has his own aspect of that voice to sound—but there is no conflict between the differentiations. This is a unique condition insofar as human experience is concerned, because in all the voices that sound—the raucous voices of antispirit that sound throughout the world, the raucous voices of human nature—there is always conflict, always argument, always self-righteous thought that, as it might be put: “I’m right; everybody else is wrong.” The voice out of the heaven of spirit is a unified voice, even though it is differentiated in marvelously unique ways. But that differentiation never introduces conflict; it simply enhances the resonance of the voice and provides what is needful in the outpouring of a blessing of sufficient magnitude as to encompass the whole field of the responsibility of man. We have shared somewhat in this process, but we were kind of slow on the uptake.
So there is this heaven of spirit. There is also the heaven of antispirit. As there is participation in the sounding of this voice, the heaven of spirit is unveiled step by step. At the same time the heaven of antispirit is unveiled. The heaven of spirit and the heaven of antispirit may be said to be in the same place, and there is an unveiling. The voice speaks and commands obedience. There are those who might say, “Well that’s an imposition.” No, it commands obedience, but there is a choice here. One may accept or one may reject. Presumably most of us have found ourselves compelled to accept in some measure, but also it is discovered that there are those who imagined they were accepting but find out later that they were rejecting. It proves itself out. Those who reject—and at the moment that would include the vast majority of the population of the earth—become aware increasingly of what is being unveiled in the heaven of antispirit, and becoming aware of this most do not appreciate it—there is such a terrible condition. But in the heaven of antispirit there is a vast variety of possibilities to align oneself with pro or con. And with great enthusiasm most people do this. We can observe it happening all around us, but I suspect in that observation is also the awareness, if we are alert to it, of what is happening within ourselves of the same nature. Do you still find yourself aligning yourself with this approach or that approach that is offered in the human world?
The suggestion, or maybe it was a command, appeared in the Book of Revelation: “Come out of her, my people.” Stop doing that. This is the habit of human nature, firmly entrenched over many thousands of years, and everyone, at least to start with finds themselves stuck with it. Because it is the popular way to go, it is assumed that one must align oneself with this or align oneself with that in order to be active in presumably doing something worthwhile, doing something good. Then of course someone else who aligns himself with something else must be doing something bad. So we have all these crisscross alignments based in concepts of good and evil into which human beings have been pouring themselves with enthusiasm for ages. But now something is happening to call a halt to this fatal procedure. Enough is enough—and twenty thousand years, or whatever the length of time is, seems to be quite enough. Come out of her, my people!
There is One Voice. There is One Tone of Life which has been brought to focus and that focus is expanding, and the sound of the voice reverberates with greater impact as day succeeds day. It is the voice of authority. It is the voice of command, commanding obedience: Accept or reject. And so it is. Where there is acceptance there is obedience, there is alignment with this One Voice, there is alignment with this One Tone of Life, and consequently there is alignment with One Spirit. The universal spirit it might be called, or the spirit of the living God, and consequent upon this there is one heart and one mind and one body. This is occurring within the range of our own experience.
We may at times have taken issue with this One Voice, saying in effect: “I don’t agree.” What is not being agreed with, if there is non-agreement, is a mental and emotional interpretation of what it is that is being articulated by the One Voice. On this basis people are in conflict with themselves; they are not agreeing with themselves. They are not agreeing with the interpretation they themselves have made, and not agreeing in this fashion excludes what it is that the One Voice is actually proclaiming. But those who hear that voice, while there may be those moments of disturbance, cannot help but come into alignment with that voice step by step. It is happening. It will happen. By the same token the exact reverse is true also. But this One Voice has always been present for human beings to hear. Some have sensed it and there have been occasions when some have heard it because there was someone present to articulate it. But in these days the articulation of this One Voice becomes inescapable. It may be interpreted this way and that; it may be agreed with or disagreed with on this basis. That doesn’t really mean very much either way because the agreement or disagreement is with the interpretation that the person has made of what was being articulated. The only way to know what the One Voice is is to be aligned with it, to be the means by which the articulation occurs—instead of going off on these half-cocked tangents?
We are here to let this voice sound with ever-increasing volume on earth. This is the Way. This is the Truth. This is the Life. I am this—said individually in daily living and consequently said in the voice of the KING through His Body, His Mind and His Heart, because His Spirit is present and in action. Surely those of us who have heard this voice and have shared in the expression of it know the truth of these things. Those who have not, do not know and cannot know. And so the voice commands obedience: Put away childish things. There is so much yet of human nature, the antispirit, claiming obedience to itself and engendering in human consciousness likes and dislikes, wants and anti-wants.
Do these wants, these personal likes and dislikes, hold sway in any of us? I have heard certain ones at times say, finding themselves in a particular situation: “This isn’t natural to me.” What a person is really saying is: “I don’t like it!” Who cares? What does the creative process say? What does the spirit say unto the churches? Those who have set aside their personal likes and dislikes in order to permit the creative process to work in their own experience and their own field of responsibility exhibit some maturity, but undoubtedly if they stopped to allow entrance into themselves of the antispirit could find that they were doing things that were not natural to them. I know I certainly could have taken this attitude along the way, being required to do all kinds of things, whatever was necessary to be done. From the human-nature standpoint one can always say: “This really isn't my cup of tea.” Who cares whether it is your cup of tea or not? If it is the thing to be done, do it! That’s all. And do it with a good grace, happily. Enjoy doing it. Did you ever consider that one chooses as to whether one enjoys doing something or doesn't enjoy doing something? One chooses the enjoyment, or lack of it, for oneself. One can always enjoy what is being done if one chooses to enjoy it. But if the event is dictating to you as to what your attitude is going to be, then you are subject to antispirit and there will be this that you like and there will be this that you don’t like. Right? That is the way it is.
So we come again into alignment with the One Voice, and our voice is that voice. I do what I am here to do. There are many people who have looked at what occurred in the life of Jesus and said, “Well I don't want any of that.” Of course not; human nature doesn’t like it. But it didn’t deter the One who trod that path at all because He wasn't concerned with His own likes and dislikes. He did something that I am sure no one else could have done. He was the one to do it. But we each have our own thing to do. Do we look at what we have to do in the light of: “Am I going to like this or am I not going to like this? Is this going to bring me into a state where I am going to be crucified? Oh I don’t like that; I won’t go that way.” Here is human nature, here is the antispirit in control, telling people what to do. And on that basis of course most people imagine that they are exercising free will. They are not at all! They are under the thumb of the antispirit which has various allures, sometimes: “Well it would be nice to go this way; I would like that.” [greatcosmicstory.blogspot.com/2015/12/from-reproof-antispirit-martin-exeter.html]
Sometimes direction is compelled by pain, pleasure and pain; they are two sides of the same coin. If we can be pushed around by pleasure we certainly will be pushed around by pain, and vice versa. What do we do? That is always the question, and the answer is easy: We sound the voice on earth without equivocation. Nothing personal. What is articulated by the voice has been articulated many, many times, because the truth is true. The voice doesn’t change what it says. It speaks the truth, that’s all. But human consciousness interprets what is said, and according to the state of the human consciousness so will the interpretation be. It only begins to be something of reality, the truth only begins to be known, when one is articulating that One Voice for oneself and one isn’t hanging on the supposed wisdom coming to one’s ears from someplace else. One either learns, or else.
I am most thankful that we have a body with a mind and a heart yielded ever increasingly to spirit and consequently sharing in the creative process and the articulation of the One Voice. For myself I have no interest in anything else. How is it with you? Having no interest in anything else one suddenly enters an experience that is full of expansiveness, of delight of fulfilment, of satisfaction. The fulfilment is doing what one is here to do, not something else. I see people going off in this direction, that direction, trying to satisfy themselves: self-service, that is called. Very often it is given a nice spiritual slant. But there is One Voice, differentiated in marvelous ways when there are those to do it. And all those ways carry the spirit of oneness, of real agreement; not an intellectual idea or an emotional feeling but the fact of spirit emerging through a yielded body, mind and heart into vibrant spiritual expression on earth.
I thank God that this is so, for those who have heard this One Voice and have aligned themselves with that voice in the articulation of the Word of love and truth and life. No one ever speaks merely for himself. If it is the One Voice in expression it is the voice of the KING through His Body, His Mind and His Heart. As individual human beings we have no body or mind or heart that is rightly separate from that. It is good to share the beauty, the stability, the power of the creative process brought to focus in action on earth in these particular days. Changes come thick and fast and will continue to do so, not because of the manipulations of antispirit individually or collectively but because of the creative power of the living God brought to focus in the sounding of His Voice on earth. So we continue as One in our momentary living, both as individuals and as one body, that the earth may be filled with the Glory of God and the sound of His Voice.

My Voice

Those who read my Word with an Eye to the Word within the word, willing to understand in Spirit and in Truth, will recognize the Open Way, and they will hear My Voice, even as they have heard My Voice in all generations. Since the days of Abraham I have dwelt much with the Children of Israel, and the righteous have given heed to my Word which I have spoken through the centuries by commandment of the LORD OUR GOD. Since the days of the Garden of Eden I have dwelt at appointed times in all nations and with all peoples. There is no land on earth that has not heard my spoken Word, and there is no people on earth but what has been changed at the sound of My Voice. I am ageless, without beginning and without end. Those who harken unto me, find the Open Way before them, that they may know God, even as God knows them. Those who scoff at My Voice and at My Word, find that the Bottomless Pit is opened unto them, and they go into oblivion.
In the Motherland, My Voice called in all Love to the peoples of the earth, but the masses of mankind harkened not, but scoffed at My Word, and so it was that they perished in the Fire which engulfed the Garden of Eden. Before the flood was, I was sent of God to warn the peoples of the earth, but again they scoffed, and all of the then known peoples, save Noah and the members of his Tribe who obeyed My Word, were engulfed in the destroying waters. I was sent unto the Egyptians of old, bearing the Word of the LORD, but they harkened not, and in their rebellion they perished as a nation. Out of their failure a New Issue was born in the earth, and under My Hand the Children of Israel became a great nation, though I had first made a great nation out of Egypt.
When Israel dwelt at peace, I again came unto them, and gave them wisdom and riches and glory; but the people waxed proud, becoming selfish and self-willed, so that they became divided. As a nation they attempted to withdraw from the world, as being superior to the world, and so failed to bless the world. Being filled with pride and arrogance, and having refused to hear the Word of the LORD which I brought unto them, a portion were carried away captive into Babylon, and I went with them as a prophet to give them the Light. However, most of them refused to harken.
As we near the climax of the history of man's world, it is natural that a number of conditions should come forth as evidence of man's misuse of the great opportunities granted unto him. It is natural that some should so Respond to Reality that they might still, in a measure, fulfill that to which they were first called—and these are they who have Spiritual Vision which transcends the boundaries of race or creed, so that they function in Love, as Pure Gold brought forth from the Fires of hell; for these are they who are the first-fruits of all the Tribes of Israel as they are gathered from every corner of the earth—for all the Earnest Ones of all nations, and tongues and peoples are the Children of Israel, according to their response to the Most High.
On the other hand, another result to be seen, is that of the soulless, misshapen monster, which has been formed in the hell within a hell, and which has been fed upon lusts of every kind: upon fear, upon hate, upon greed, and upon desire for power, so that this monster is now being released by its creators, and caused to come forth into the outer hell, that it may swallow up the world which man has made, and that through it, according to their plan, its creators may rule the whole earth. Nevertheless, though it may seem to gain the victory, and though it may strike terror to the hearts of those who begin to see it, so that they are, in turn, caused to do things most hideous in their attempts to fight against it, there is a Decree gone forth from the Most High, for thus saith the LORD God of Hosts:
“This thing which man has made in his pride, and by which he thinks to set himself up in the high places of the earth, Behold, it shall return with vengeance upon those who made it, and it shall devour its creators from the face of the whole earth, and Lo, there shall be no rest for them Day nor Night until they shall all have perished; whereupon the monster shall die the death eternal, and My Kingdom shall fill the whole Earth. Behold I, the LORD Thy God, have spoken it by the mouth of My faithful Servant, that those who hear his Voice may not fear for those things which come to pass on the earth, but that all who will may abide in My Love and in My Peace. Repent, therefore, and come out of her, My People, that ye be not partakers of her sins. Come unto Me, and I will give you Rest.”
In the world, without respect to nation, race or creed, there are two primary Groups, and each has a Destiny—not a destiny of fate but a destiny by choice. Every man, woman and child upon the face of the earth will harmonize with one group or the other, according to the free right of choice vested in each one. One Group will cling to the man-made world, and struggle to maintain hell on earth. The other Group, whose Destiny by choice is that of the Eternal Kingdom, shall be to the world in this day, that which the Children of Israel could have been in the days of old. All who Respond to Reality, and let go in Love, shall surely be uplifted into this Group of Earnest Ones, whose Destiny is controlled by God through the Third Sacred School.
In the Third Sacred School there is an understanding of the Way. No matter how wise the children of men may be, we are wiser still. No matter how cunning the works of man may be, and no matter how destructive, we will not fight against them, but we will use them in accomplishing the Will of God. No matter how much man may try to fight against us, we cannot be hurt nor disturbed, for man can find nothing to take hold of, and his every effort against us will but be turned upon his own head, and he shall destroy himself. Only those who Respond in Love will be able to see the Open Way.
As far as we are concerned, there are only two Groups in the world. Each must make his own choice. Shortly there will be no half-way place. Rapidly it is reaching a point where you either are, or you are not, on the side of God. No ifs or buts of any kind have any weight—you can have no reservations when you come to find the Open Way. Those who come with reservations will find that their reservations await them and will carry them away into the hells which man has made. The time draws near when Great Works shall be made manifest in the earth.
From within the Temple of Light, where sinful man cannot come no matter how he may try, we use all the forces which man generates in the world according to our will, which is the Will of God working through us. The great forces by which man has thought to gain his own ends, and which he has so painstakingly built with great struggle, we now take and use, and man is helpless to prevent it, no matter who, nor where, nor what he may be, nor of what world group he may be a part. Since this is true, we have nothing to fear from the world. We will receive those who receive us, but we will depart from those who receive us not, and we shall shake the dust from our feet as we go, withdrawing our peace from them, that they may quickly reap that which they have sown. No matter how lowly, or how sinful, or how limited, or how insignificant, any may be, if he will but Respond in Love we will gladly Serve him where he is, and if he shall be steadfast we shall lift him up in the Ascending Flame.
However, we shall ignore these who respond not, and though they suffer the tortures of the hell which they created, we will be unmoved until they shall Respond to us. In no case will we respond to them. Those who come within the Third Sacred School will learn what it is to obey in Love and in Joy. Those who refuse to obey, or who are not truthful in word and in deed, and who turn away in thought and in attitude, shall be quickly released, that they may go the way of their choice, and we will not cling to them, but let them go. Our Power is greater than all the power of all nations on earth, and the wealth of those who think they are rich is as nothing before us. Those who prove to be worthy, and those who are of a Pure Heart, shall know of the Way and of the Program of God, but the Way and the Program are fully hidden from all others, and they cannot be found out by the children of men.
Thrice blessed are they who dwell in the world which God has made, and which is now in the earth. Insofar as the Third Sacred School is concerned, all are the children of men who need to become the Children of God. He who fights against any race or nation, fights against himself—and by his own fighting shall he be destroyed. He who hates any man, or any ruler, or any race, thereby hates himself, and hate shall devour him. He who lets the Christ Love Radiate to all alike, responding to no man, but Responding to the LORD of Lords and KING of Kings, so that he functions truly in the Third Sacred School, shall find that Love shall devour him, and he shall be lifted up into Oneness with his Lord.
There is only One Way for all mankind, no matter of what race. The fires of one hell are burning into the fires of the other hell, and each shall consume the other until neither shall be any more at all forever and ever. Rejoice in the LORD that it is so. In this every Earnest One of every race finds a Call to Service, that through Response he may function in the Creative Cycle by which the world movements may be stabilized, and caused to swing toward that Perfect State which is the Will of God for all people. In the Radiance of the Christ Love all Needs of all peoples will be filled, first with the vibrations of Perfection, that around the vibrations a new and Perfect Form may manifest and function. Those who Respond to Love will be used by God in performing His Wonders in the earth, but those who respond to hate and fear shall surely destroy themselves. Let Love Radiate, to all alike, that each may receive according to his or her Response. Let Love Radiate.
