We are
present together in this particular setting in representation of mankind,
offering our substance to the Lord. We are also present in this setting
representing the Lord to all mankind, providing the point of orientation and
extending the invitation “Come near unto me.” As was said in the video this morning,
never underestimate the power of spiritual expression. What has taken form
through you in your beautiful representation of yielded spirit returning to the
Lord opens the doors of the heart of mankind into which may flow the natural
outpouring of the creative spirit of the living God. The Word is spoken because
all of you in particular are here to speak it.
What a
wonder it is to be aware of a heaven, a heaven which always has been present,
but which begins to be consciously known as the veil thins. There has been
something beautiful in all that has been shared this morning, but coming to a
special climax at this time. Your unified chant brought your spirits together
in unison and I'm sure all of you sensed the substantial nature of what was
present when the actual sounds of your chanting faded away. It could be said
the room was filled with the glory of the Lord so that it might shine round
about.
I rejoice
that this particular occasion, which is emphasized by reason of my birthday,
can be used to advantage in this fashion. I never put very much store in birthdays
as such; but if something of this nature can be used to advantage, as it has
been this morning, well I'm all in agreement with it. That it happens to be my birthday—it
is fitting on this occasion to allow for a particular focus to occur. I rejoice
with you in the actual participation in the creative action of the Word, of
spiritual expression, of something which is brought to point and released in a
particular way, carrying impact and effect far and wide. No theorizing,
particularly, about it, but letting something actually happen.
Certain
ones of you participated directly in your offerings, but all of you were there
together. There is indeed an awakening to oneness which is not just for this
Assembly, but for all people. And there is indeed a continuing birth of life—increasing
life, factual life—to be experienced in the whole body of mankind, which allows
for the resurrection of that body. And while there are those things which may
be painful present, and sad perhaps, at least from the human standpoint, it is
really a time of great rejoicing in heaven, that at last this sad interlude is
dissolving and the weight and strength and beauty of heaven comes forth. We know
while we're gathered here that it is so. This is the truth. And we may know this
truth regardless of where we may happen to be in the days to come, even as
there are many others who already know this truth with us.
There is a
sense of oneness which brings a sense of wholeness, so that the individual
aspects of the matter tend to dissolve into the whole. At the same time, there
is a keen awareness of the reality of this being made possible because there are
individuals. There is a dual situation here which, in a sense, seems to be contradictory,
but it nevertheless is known to be true that there is one whole, but no loss of
individual expression. How glorious it is to be awakening more fully to these
things, that others may awaken with us.
He did not allow himself to get away with things.
He did not allow himself to quit.
He kept his integrity.
And as he held fast to that golden cord
The sweet voice of spirit spoke from the stillness
And reminded him of a different ancestry
A different home
Greater than the proud name of England
Or the proud halls of Burghley.
He remembered his place in the serene order
Of the stars,
And in the sunlit courtyards of eternity.
He remembered that he was not just of the earth
Even though he lived here for the moment;
He carried the light of the sun in his eyes.
He was a prince
From the realm of light
And he had come to remind others
— Trapped in bonds of forgetfulness and despair —
That they too were of light
And together their work was to return the planet
To a place of beauty and love.
