Trust

Trust

Martin Exeter  1986

It seems that many people who have offered leadership, supposedly of a spiritual nature, to others, have been carried away by the response that they received and then proceeded to cultivate more and more of that sort of response. If such was the case it was an indication of a weakness, of the necessity apparently of getting other people to back you up and support you to assure you that you were worth something. People have offered many compliments to me of various sorts, but I'll let you in on a secret: I always accepted them with a grain of salt, and I have never had the notion that my worth, whatever it is, was dependent upon what anyone else said or did. I alone can be genuine. You alone can be genuine.

I trust that that kind of attitude was never, or ever will be, in me. I don't need to spiritually convince anyone at any time to get their response to assure me that I am doing my job, or that maybe I need to convince MORE people to assure me that I am worth something---that's hard work! These thoughts never enter in because I already know my worth---it doesn't come from any external source, such as response...or more responses. I alone can be genuine---I Am That I Am. In true leadership one doesn't have to convince anyone to get their response, for I Am Spirit doing what I Am here to do: creating anew!
I trust my expression in response to Martin's words makes sense.

As a follow-up to my above comment, I am simply here to serve our Lord and King and be genuine in that service---that is all that is needed; yet it is EVERYTHING NEEDFUL to let the job be accomplished according to His Design and Purpose.
Thank you, David, for posting Martin's beautiful, genuine and powerful expression!
