Nothing Is Wrong

Nothing  Is  Wrong

Martin Cecil   July 11, 1982  edited

It is good to be ignorant of what we don't need to know and to admit it without shame. When this is done there is an openness available for the experience of what does need to be known; and what does need to be known is not gleaned from the environment. There are some things we need to know environmentally speaking, but what is far more important to know is what it is that is coming down from God out of heaven; and if our consciousness is all cluttered up with environmental concerns we have no space then for our primary responsibility, and consequently no ability to function spiritually speaking in adequate measure.

Spiritual expression is important, and needs to increase. According to the extent of our spiritual expression, as individuals and together, so are we in position to encompass what is needful in the creative field around us. There is far more to be encompassed than we are capable of doing right now, so we need more space for spiritual expression. And the space for spiritual expression relates to what is coming down from God out of heaven, not to environmental concerns, as the first order of business. There are so many busybodies around who are interested primarily in the environment and what is happening there—what is happening with emissaries, but environmentally speaking just the same. I don't know what the difference is between that and being primarily interested in what is going on in the worldly environment. We do have some awareness of what is going on, but it is not of primary concern.

Our primary concern is spiritual expression—what is coming down from God out of heaven to be expressed. Only then do we begin to come into position to determine what it is that is happening in the creative sense—to administer the creative process. If we are all cluttered up with environmental concerns we will not be in position to understand what it is that is coming down from God out of heaven to be given spiritual expression.

This morning I touched very particularly into the matter of transformation of evil. Evol was a word used to indicate true evil, because it is a part of the evolving creative process. Humanly produced evil is not seen by human beings as being evol, not seen as being useful. It is all useful from the standpoint of the LORD. It is all evol—all of it. Some may be slower in its movement, the humanly produced kind of evil, but it will all be clarified sooner or later. We are concerned with letting it be clarified sooner, and the first step is to acknowledge the fact of evol, to see the evil which human beings have produced, and which wouldn't be there at all unless they had produced it, nevertheless as evol—not to see it as something bad, but to see it as a part of the creative process. That's the first requirement.

If we see it that way there is no incentive to judge it. It's all right. We don't have to judge it. It's a part of the creative process. Our concern in administering the creative process is to bring it more directly into the state of evol—in other words to clarify humanly produced evil so that it may move more quickly in the creative cycle toward good. We have had in the world a sluggish state of affairs, like a rather fetid swamp where nothing is moving very much, and it is going to take perhaps a million years for this primitive condition to clarify itself—this is the usual human view with respect to the evolution of the earth. Once it was all swampy like this, but it takes a very long time, several million years probably, to get things sorted out. This is the human view because that is the way it would be if human beings were involved in the situation, which they presently are of course. There is something to clarify then, because there are those on hand who are in fact spiritual stewards of the creative process, administering this in the right way. Well in order to administer it, it must be seen as being evol, part of the creative process.

If there is something which human beings see in this evil that they think of as being evil, their view needs to change. The only way it can change is because what is present is actually evol, so that it may be seen as evol. We who have the responsibility of taking care of this administration then must see it as evol. If we don't see it that way no one else will. And because we see it as evol we handle it in that way, to allow for the truth to begin to emerge in relationship to what it is that is really happening.

We presumably are reaching a point where we are capable of handling situations in order to allow the truth to emerge—that's the purpose. We are able to take responsibility for what needs to be done, so that the truth may begin to emerge. This is wonderful—evol moving toward good; and out of that there will appear a larger understanding on the part of many people. Beautiful evol! Let it come, because there is sufficient spiritual expression factually present. The scope of what can be done depends upon the extent of the substance and the extent of the spiritual expression which has permitted the substance to be generated. At the moment the scope of what can be handled is limited, but something can be handled. When we do handle what comes to us to be handled we gain experience, and there is the increase of substance. There is therefore the ability to encompass a greater scope of what human beings deem to be evil, transforming it into evol for those who will allow themselves to participate in the happening. Some won't allow themselves to participate in it, but that's their choice in the matter.

In times past for many years I was on the firing line, in direct association with the public, people of all kinds everywhere. This was necessary but it kept the core at rather a coarse level, so that the essential refined substance couldn't be generated and sustained as is now necessary. There are concentric hedges, rightly; something being met which is kept away from the core. It is not the business of the core to meet peripheral requirements of administration. There are rightly those in these concentric hedges who are capable in this regard. To the extent of that capability, to the extent that there is the substance available because of emissaries who are present—stable, consistent in their expression—then there are many things that begin to be met away from the core, and properly there should never be any penetration.

Nothing that defiles or works abomination should ever be allowed to come into the core. It is always met in the place where it puts in an appearance. Increasingly there is the responsibility in this regard in all the places that are occupied by emissaries the world around. There are many things which rightly are met there, so that the hedge is maintained—and nothing can penetrate to the core, because it is essential that the refined substance should be available at the core. If anything that defiles penetrates there, then the substance is immediately dissipated. So it is vital that the core should be protected; but it is not so much a defensive thing as the fact that there is radiance, a radiant hedge which emerges in a blaze of glory at the periphery where the majority of the spiritual stewards are.

The things that defile will only be kept beyond the core as there actually is radiance, as there actually is the assumption of individual responsibility on the part of all, so that nothing that defiles or works abomination or makes a lie may enter into the Core of this Body. This requires that there be individuals who have the same attitude to such things entering into the core of themselves. When this is so, then the impact of the human world is not only kept at bay but is increasingly pushed back, and more and more people begin to come clear, because the clarification is coming in the realm of what has heretofore been evil in human consciousness.

Obviously, most people on earth are inclined to see evil, wrong, bad things all over the place, everywhere they look. They don't see evol, they don't see what is there as part of the creative process, as being capable of being included in the creative process consciously and deliberately. It is included in the creative process anyway but we, as stewards, have the responsibility of including it consciously and deliberately. Then attitudes change in people. There is a new understanding appearing, a greater awareness of what the state of affairs really is. Here is the core. And so we welcome evil, because we recognize it for what it is—evol; and we welcome the good too; that's fine, but we are governed by neither.

The government comes down out of heaven from God. It is spiritual expression. It is the Word in expression in our living, and here is the hedge. When we consider the collective Body, we see the fact of a core and we see the fact of a periphery. It is at the periphery that the handling of the transformation of evil into evol occurs, because there are people there who are not afraid of the evil—they see it as evol and they welcome others to share that vision. Some will.

This is a rather elementary view of the transforming process of human consciousness. After all, we have to start where we are. We may have some notion that there is an influence being extended somehow subconsciously throughout the world, but there is something to be deliberately, consciously done; and we begin to become aware of what that process is. We begin to see how we can carry our own individual responsibilities in it, that all things may be caused to work together for good in the creative cycle.

How beautiful it is to share this opportunity at this time as we are considering these things in a recognition of what is occurring on the larger scale within this Body of which we are a part, and beyond that again, in the body of humanity as a whole. All this leads toward the Congress, where a particular focus of clarification may occur in those who are present there—the blaze of glory is there because the individuals who are present allow it to appear through themselves, transforming their own view of what they deem still to be evil into a recognition of evol.

Is there anything that anyone here present thinks is wrong? Silence! Just laughter. Perhaps there might be a little shame present if one can pinpoint some things that any individual thinks are wrong, because if it is evol there is nothing wrong with it. If we do not see it as evol, then we are still subject to the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil; we are still addicted. What a transformation would immediately occur should all of those here present, just these, just a few people here, wake up to the fact that there is nothing wrong! It's all included in the creative cycle, and the things that were thought to be wrong are simply evol, a part of that cycle. The transformation comes; but we ourselves awaken to the fact that we have the responsibility for deliberately letting that transformation occur in our own experience and awareness.

No judgment. One of the first instructions offered in the Emissary ministry is based in the Master's words, “Judge not.” Everybody has tended to assume that that was quite impossible. After all, there were so many things that were wrong. Are there? Not if we are aware of the way things really work, because from our own standpoint everything is included in the state of evol, or good. And good is no better than evol. It's all part of the same creative cycle. It's all perfect. It's all the way it should be. Even though human beings have multiplied human nature evil it is still, from the standpoint of the LORD's view, included in evol. Are we going to share His view? Are we going to agree with Him? Or are we going to say, “No. You're not right, LORD. There's a lot that is wrong around here.”

Amazing, isn't it, even to consider that there is nothing wrong! Oh, the human mind can point to this and that, and to this person, that person, all these worldly events—Oh it's terribly wrong. Look at all the people dying of starvation, that's wrong! Is it? Or does the Law work? Is that inevitable, by reason of the evil which human beings have created and sustained apart from the creative cycle? Now we are going to include it all in the creative cycle—all of it—all that human beings think is wrong, that it may be clarified, that it may move in the natural pulsations of evol, so that more and more of the truth begins to be seen, understood and expressed.

We can't participate in that as long as we hold anything out on the side which says, “That is wrong.” Oh, the mind is expert at finding those things and justifying them, making it absolutely, logically certain that they are wrong. As long as we believe that hokum we stay addicted, but when we see it all included in evol it becomes a part of the creative cycle and it is all on the move. We have the responsibility as stewards of administering the creative cycle which is on the move. We take care of it. We can't take care of it if we are struggling with all the things that are wrong. We are just deluding ourselves if we are doing that, because there is nothing wrong.

It is all a part of the creative cycle by which the restoration takes place, whatever that proves to be. Let us move with the creative cycle and we will find out. And we move with the creative cycle now, in this moment and each succeeding moment, to let all things work together for good—that is, the evol is moving toward the state where it is seen as being good. We can even see it so right now, can't we? The evol is good. It's all one thing. It's all one tree. It's a very natural tree. Its fruit is called good-and-evil. We could run that into one word, not two separate things—one thing. And we find that evol is good already, part of the creative cycle, very good. On every day of creation God said that it was good, the whole process was good! and when the whole cycle of days had gone by, it was very good! So that's the way it is. Let us agree with the LORD!

Doesn't this put everything in perspective. Every perceived wrong is part of the evolving process. Talk about being freed from the entanglements of this world. Thank God for Martin's expression here.

The word “tangled” also came to mind in my reading. Most things that are labeled in the human approach as “evil” have a tangle of components, some elements to be burnt up in the fire of divine Love, others, true and essential to the Body of God on Earth, but obscured by the judgment of the “tangle”. In the keeping of the First Great Commandment, in the stewardship of the Creative Process through the enfoldment of ALL things in the Living Word, the “tangle” begins to loosen and substance can naturally move to its truthful, rightful place in the dynamic Divine Design.

What a beautiful blessing of assurance! I feel Martin's hand on my head as my heart and mind relax with this reminder.

David, I have been noticing that your ability to sense out the right service for the right time is delightful and quite wonderful. What could be more of an impediment to spiritual expression than judgement. How addicted the mind and heart is to it. How quickly it can arise. Who among us will say they don't deal with it every single day? What opportunity. No need to travel anywhere!

A quick little story: Yesterday, I pulled into a parking lot and started to get out of my car. In the next car over were two young people hunched over their phones. Immediately my mind went into judgement mode saying, "Look, young folks are always on their phones!" Well, as my mind was busy making that judgement I was completely out of the present moment. An instant later I slammed my finger in my car door. Ouch!
