We have been, and are, passing through a period of orientation in relationship to the New Cycle that is before us. From time to time we have considered Services that have been held in the past, and we find there the expression of the Word which makes clear the Path along which we are moving. Wherever we turn in the Bible we find that we have considered the passages together that relate to our present time in the outworking of Cosmic events. I am not saying there is nothing new, nothing more for us to find in the Bible, but I am pointing out that that which is sufficient unto us for this day, according to the Word that has been, and now is, has been revealed and considered, and these things are intellectually recognized. When they are uttered they are perceived to a degree in Spirit, realized to some extent as Truth, and gradually the Life Pattern begins to conform with the fundamental Realities, so that we may not simply walk upon a meaningless round in this outer world, considering intellectual preachments as a salve to the spirit that we may be content with our lot under the conditions of the fallen world.
If that which we do is to mean more than that which others have done, we can not walk in that broad way that has been trodden by the millions, nor yet can we be content with the levels of Spirituality that have been attained by those who have served nobly and truly in the Harvest Field of God in time past. In my travels about the land, I have been deeply impressed by the fact that wherever one goes there are good people and fine, there are those who are expressing a high degree of nobility in their daily round of life. And yet, seen from the outer round of expression, these things tend to appear as ineffectual, futile, and sometimes the serpent tries to whisper that, just as there is the vanity of human pride and the vanity of possessions and the vanity of position in the world, according to the ideas of fame or power, just so is there a vanity of the spirit which, having found a certain degree of communion with things that are recognized as being Divine, becomes more or less content therewith, and finally, becoming to some degree smug and self-righteous, brings forth a vanity of nothingness which appears to the dimmed eye of outer-world-seeing as nothing more than that which all the mass of human beings experience.
With what shall we be content? Rising to what level do we find that which satisfies our appetite, our longing, our hungering and thirsting, so that, at that level we become surfeited, satisfied, and undertake to dwell there as if in some such place we might find an Eternal habitation? We climb to the top of a mountain in the experience of life, and attain to such and such a level. The human tendency is to pause there to admire the view and then, being satisfied that it is lovely, to build a house, as it were, to dwell in, thinking therewith to be content. It is lovely, and there is a beautiful view, from such a mountain height, and there is much to commend the progress of the one who so attains, but if we have the boldness to suggest that such attainment is not enough, if we suggest to such an one that pausing too long at that level of consciousness is failing to utilize the blessings of God that have been provided, he is inclined, in self-righteousness and a certain smugness of attainment, to take the attitude that we are seeking to deny the blessings of God by which he has attained to such and such a place. Actually, we seek only to awaken him to a realization that, no matter how good and no matter how wonderful, no matter how commendable the attainment, no matter how beautiful the view, no matter how Truth has been recognized and realized—it is not enough. If, at any given level, we become content at that level, we accept disintegration, decay, retrogression and finally, obliteration. The human tendency—and it is very human, because human beings have bodies which are so inclined to inertia—is for the individual to forget that he is supposed to be a Temple of the Living God, and to be inclined to settle down at some level. Those who never rise above the dregs of humanity are looked down upon by those who have attained to some scale of life expression above them; but those, in turn, are looked down upon by those above them, and those who have attained to some point higher, actually or in imagination, look down upon them in turn. Yet the same end comes to all, the same turmoils and failures and the same futility, in the final reckoning. It is not enough. When the human being remembers that this human body, which tends so toward inertia, is actually the Temple of the Living God, which was so designed originally that it might express the fullness of Deity on earth and must of needs be rejuvenated, reborn and transformed, until that original potentiality shall have been made manifest in fact in this present time, we find that there is no specific level of attainment recognizable from an outer standpoint to which one may come, and say, “Here I have achieved, here is the goal, now I may build my house and abide. I need go no further.” When there is the true vision, when there is the true realization, there is a recognition that every tendency to settle down and be content at any level of consciousness at any time, is a snare of the serpent which, if one enters into it, leads most certainly to that subjection which holds all human beings who are enslaved to the prince of darkness.
The prodigal son said, “I will arise and go unto my father's house”. We, likewise, having tasted of the husks of the outer world and determined to arise and go to our Father's House, coming near to the Father, find that He recognizes that we are His House. We then need to remember that it is not essential that we should, at any time, build our house, to dwell therein, at some specific level of consciousness, as if we had arrived, but to remember that we are the Father's House, and that our LORD and Master said that He would go and prepare a place for us and assured us that in His House there are many Mansions, and that we must arise and go to our Father—and when we do, we find that we are our Father's House. Then, if we are the Father's House, we are to be in that place which He designs for us according to those Mansions that are Eternal. While there is yet misery and suffering and sorrow and death in this world, while there is yet oppression, and the seeming victory of evil, and the tyranny of power, while there is ignorance and prejudice and subjection to superstitions of all kinds, while our fellow men are subject to these things in all of their manifestations we cannot say, “We have arrived, it is enough”. Always we must remember that there is more for us to do—that it is not enough.
Our LORD and Master came into the world, not just to save one or two or three, here and there, but for the sake of the whole human race, without respect to color or race or creed. He came into the world to reveal the Fatherhood of God and thereby to give meaning to the Brotherhood of Man, that as man, recognizing the Fatherhood of God, should let himself be reborn and transformed, he might come to the realization that they who are the Children of God enter into the Glorious Liberty of God and are not separate from God, the Father, and that, being near unto Him, there can no longer be subjection to the chains that have so long bound human beings in the valleys of despair all over the world. No matter how good, no matter how fine, no matter how wonderful, no matter how true, no matter how high, the attainment, to each and all there comes the Word, “It is not yet enough.”

Unbound — Loosed On Earth

Larry Krantz — Greetings everyone. It is always a pleasure to be together with people of fine character. Let me relate a curious occurrence in my world. I go to a gym regularly to exercise. Recently, a number of people have shared their lives with me, sometimes in greater detail than I might wish, but I respect their trust and they seem to sense something trustworthy in me. In a way, it is humorous to see this unexpected response as they cluster around me. They do not know what is attracting them, but I do, and do not take it personally. Anyone who lets their true selves shine forth extends an invisible radiance, which has an effect—whether seen or not.
Some of these folk have said they are seeking to understand their life purpose better. One person is sure that I understand the “key to life.” Of course, I replied, “You’re right. I do.” This person smiled and said, without prompting, “I knew it. We are here to awaken spiritually and help others to wake up to who they are.” Yes, indeed. She got it. Remarkable.
Many people are expressing something clear these days, not always in a way to which we are accustomed, or in the language or culture that we know. Something of fine spirit is breaking surface. When it does, it is a powerful, attractive force, not unlike gravity, which is more than physical attraction between celestial objects; I see it as an expression of the ultimate source of being—love. In that sense, it could be said that the sun holds all the planets and other objects orbiting around it in its loving embrace. Divine expression is very attractive to those who sense that same possibility in themselves. Love draws everything closer, including people. Those of us who have had years to let hearts and minds be purified have a radiance we may have underestimated—but it is there!
Human consciousness has been distant from the source of love. Change is on the way. As human consciousness is drawn by love, remembrance comes, with transcendent understanding. Love has not gone anywhere. Human understanding, at too great a distance from source, has found phony substitutes to explain purpose and the divine, which is not at all the way things are. A lot of clutter has to be pushed out of the way. Some will resist movement toward their true selves, even if it kills them. We have the opportunity to cooperate with love and amplify genuine expression. That is attractive and compelling. It brings all things to remembrance—even those at a gym! A new day is dawning. We live in exciting times. It is wonderful to share this enthusiasm and understanding with friends who understand. Now I will turn it over to Anne and David.
Anne Blaney — Thank you Larry. As always it’s wonderful to hear your beautiful expression. I thoroughly appreciate your description of various ones being drawn to you, into your presence. I would say that they are experiencing the blessing of being seen, by you. This is because you are able to see them. Just as we were all seen and acknowledged by those in our lives, you are offering that same gift to others, and this is what we are all here to do with one another.
There is no denying that current events we are witnessing reveal a world that is unraveling. “Things are going to slide, slide in all directions, won’t be nothing, nothing you can measure anymore,” singer Leonard Cohen predicted. Things are indeed sliding and crashing and blowing up. We all agree that a dramatic intensification is underway, and we have spoken of the powerful spiritual forces behind this: the creative pressure of integration, movement toward wholeness and balance orchestrated by the One who loves His Creation—and it will not be stopped. We well know the signs of disintegration. We, and everyone everywhere, are experiencing increased pressure, whether in our own immediate lives or in observing world events.
But I’m feeling the prevailing intensification that is pressing in on me: that the spiritual focus I have carried in my life has also intensified. It’s natural that this would be so because the whole system is heating up, it’s lighting up. The dynamic is fiery—love is burning through the clouds of illusion. In fact, it’s the fire of love that is increasing the disintegration, burning away what does not hold love. There is that which is passing away in the heat, but also there is that which is clarifying and ascending—and in my experience, that’s taking place at a conscious level, in my understanding and in my heart. This perfect opportunity to be aligned with this ascension process requires that my spiritual understanding be on hand as never before. As I accept this opportunity, I’m finding that my understanding unfolds and organizes with coherency. In specific ways, my spiritual perspective is becoming more and more conscious, provided I do the internal work required in the process of living.
As with many on line, I have had the privilege of years of spiritual training and instruction, bathed in the water of Truth. We’ve all benefited from the generations made available through the Archangelic Body. With years of attunement in this large body of substance, and through my own spiritual expression, I am now present, awake and available. I have what I need to contextualize everything I’m seeing of this stepped-up movement into a larger, healthier view. I can look into, and through, the obvious, and see what’s really taking place.
Here’s how I would describe this experience: in the course of my days there’s a welcome simultaneous re-translation going on—with new vision provided by Spirit! All things are made new in unsuspecting ways when seen through these eyes—the larger integrating cycle becomes obvious. I can’t afford to be myopic—we are participating in large cosmic cycles. For example, I’m aware that I’m redefining time! Participating in cycle after cycle, in spiritual expression, I am recreating the past and changing the future, right now! I know this to be the case. I know that the massive adjustments that are occurring are ultimately benevolent in intention. I remind myself not to be surprised! Even so, spirit does work in mysterious ways, and I am constantly surprised! Any interpretations must be left free to be seen differently, sometimes radically different as there is movement in the creative process. A whole new angle can suddenly appear that brings peace and coherence as to how one assesses circumstances, as new design factors fall into place in myriad ways, step by step. Learning to be creative with feelings and to allow their radiant potency is a whole other exciting and necessary adventure that is unfolding for me.
I mention some aspects of intensified spiritual expression because fresh abilities are needed more than ever, to bring balance and qualitative presence. I must be able to receive what is coming so that it is placed in the largest, most intelligent, and most loving context. My practice is to see past the obvious, retranslate and recognize what is included in the ascending process. Which also means to let what is passing away, pass away. We know that there has to be a heavenly space to entertain these things, and in which to articulate at a higher vibrational frequency. Our rightful place is in that heavenly space, on hand to connect what is emerging of the creative impulse, and allow that impulse to recreate in the earth. Which brings us to this hour together: I see our gatherings as one means of creating that heavenly space.
This opens up interesting uses of divine technology. For many years I’ve known the experience of having someone “on my line.” I often send a specific spirit, thought, blessing, or a creative command back to them. I think more than ever we each can be aware that we have many people on our line, all the time. When there are two or more gathered in spiritual agreement, we send out a vibrational call and a welcome to many on our unified line. Not only that, but by considering specific topics in a group gathering, we can focus our attention on specific aspects which need re-creation. I see these gatherings as opportunities for very specific spiritual work of this nature. I see a great need for such foci to provide spiritual orientation.
The world pattern is intensifying. This intensification is bringing to the fore, initially unconsciously, a growing desire for many to know their true Identity. This is the primary reason why we gather—to participate in shaping resonant waves of response in the right direction. The finest substance is required, to invite the next creative steps, not only in our personal lives, but for the wholeness of life in which we are intimately intertwined.
David Barnes — I am reading a book about a journey into the labyrinth of the Tsangpo River gorge in eastern Tibet—three times the depth of the Grand Canyon—the story of a search for a mythic and mystical earthly paradise called Beyul Pemako: the Secret Land Shaped Like a Lotus. It is a quest for Chimé Yangsang Né, the innermost secret place of immortality—a paradise realm known also as Shambala. Many have made a pilgrimage searching for a majestic waterfall, said to be a doorway to this innermost secret place. This search was the source for James Hilton’s book Lost Horizon and the mythic paradise Shangri-La. Here are some words spoken by the High Lama, in the epic 1937 Frank Capra movie Lost Horizon.
“It came to me in a vision, long, long ago. I saw all the nations strengthening, not in wisdom, but in the vulgar passions and the will to destroy. I saw the machine power multiplying, until a single weaponed man might match a whole army. I foresaw a time when man, exalting in the technique of murder, would rage so hotly over the world, that every book, every treasure, would be doomed to destruction. This vision was so vivid and so moving, that I determined to gather together all things of beauty and of culture that I could, and preserve them here, against the doom toward which the world is rushing. Look at the world today. Is there anything more pitiful? What madness there is! What blindness! What unintelligent leadership! A scurrying mass of bewildered humanity, crashing headlong against each other, propelled by an orgy of greed and brutality. A time must come my friend, when this orgy will spend itself. When brutality and the lust for power must perish by its own sword. Against that time, is why I avoided death, and am here. And why you were brought here. For when that day comes, the world must begin to look for a new life. And it is our hope that they may find it here. For here, we shall be with their books and their music, and a way of life based on one simple rule: Be Kind! When that day comes, it is our hope that the brotherly love of Shangri-La will spread throughout the world. Yes, my son. When the strong have devoured each other, the Christian ethic may at last be fulfilled and the meek shall inherit the earth. My friend, it is not an arduous task that I bequeath, for our order knows only silken bonds. To be gentle and patient, to care for the riches of the mind, to preside in wisdom while the storm rages without. You, my son, will live through the storm. You will preserve the fragrance of our history and add to it a touch of your own mind. Beyond that, my vision weakens but I see at a great distance a new world stirring in the ruins, stirring clumsily but in hopefulness, seeking its lost and legendary treasures, and they will all be here, my son, hidden behind the mountains in the Valley of the Blue Moon preserved as by a miracle.”
Beautiful words from the High Lama, and I am sure we all feel moved by them; and feel a resonance with their application to our own spiritual quest to create a sanctuary space, both in form and in heavenly or vibrational reality; and like the High Lama we have had a vision of the formation of a nucleus body composed of many lamas, many angels playing many roles, who extend the radiance, the power, and the substance of spiritual security in the midst of a world gone mad. This is spiritual work that all of us have been engaged in for many years; some were born into it, and others were re-born out of an old life into this new life expression. It takes sustained, undeviating passion to express the differentiated qualities of my own Being accurately in daily living, in a world where passion is largely directed outward, and where interests are frequently so self-serving and of the lowest common denominator. Larry spoke of the many who are speaking their highest word of truth—and we all share a cosmic commission, which is birthing the emergence of a focal nucleus and a new humanity. Like the High Lama, beyond this our vision perhaps weakens, but we can sense something from a distance—a new world stirring in the midst of a passing order.
The dedication in the book I am reading says, “For the Unbound”—and this reminds me of words from Matthew 18:18: “Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven; and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.” There is a work of loosing to be done in the affairs and habits of daily living, so that the innermost secret place of immortality can be freed-up and revealed in fitting ways. People say things like, “I feel stuck; I feel blocked, restricted; I am in a bind.” When we feel unnaturally bound we must make changes to free things up. Each of us can think of many areas where one may feel bound—the High Lama did a good job of naming most of them. Many people today feel ensnared in that sticky web, but one can come free of all that too.
It might be well to consider this briefly relative to our service times, because this is one vehicle through which our spirit is flowing, and wherever we are bound or loosed with regard to the use of that vehicle, so will be the factual vibrational message that extends beyond us in radiation. We might each consider how free we are to move easily in the current context of the creative process, because the freedom will be what extends the quality of welcome. Over many months, I have been examining into and asking myself certain of these questions. Looking back to the time since my own, your own, great awakening was initiated, has spiritual passion diminished or increased over these fulfilling years? It should be greatly increased if we have continued to accumulate a substantial body of personal and collective life substance. I am not talking so much about forms as the quality and intensity of the substance and the passion. In the midst of the wonder of what has occurred, I know it is necessary to let an expansion take place in me, and in the development of a nucleus body—which is actually larger than the sum of the parts assembled this morning, or with regard to any configuration given to this fine work.
A caution was issued many years ago: no settling down, into the illusory comforts of self-satisfaction. What is pressing to come forth right now? You know how it goes, “I’ve been at it for over 50 years you know; I don’t have to do this any more; let someone else do it.” [greatcosmicstory.blogspot.com/2020/01/a-great-promise-from-abram-uranda-march.html] Changes do come; forms change; specific vehicles for service change. And we know the value of this exhortation: no settling down—it's the same job, just changing forms. All this has to do with passion, interest, purified desire. Is this not what our incarnation is all about? Is this not a time of fruition for each of us—for some, the capstone of a life of spiritual passion in radiant service. It is in fact a time of new birth, new beginning. Relative to the binding and the loosing, I was reminded of Job 38:31. Binding the sweet influences of Pleiades: the passionate, controlled radiance of the Seven Spirits of my Being. Loosing the bands of Orion: the focused creative action of love made visible. Bring forth Mazzaroth in his season: life on the move in the rhythms of the cosmic creative process right now. There is so much theory, speculation, philosophy, religion, dogma—when right at hand living may reveal the weight, the gravity of embodied knowing.
This is what Jesus brought, and it didn’t fit any conventional paradigm. The term “I” abounded in His discourses. “I know whence I came." “I am the light of the world.” “I and my Father are one.” “Before Abraham was, I am.” All of it was seen as threatening to conventional religious authority—and it was! His authority was perceived as arrogance and blasphemy. Few have been able to receive the evidence of eternal identity. Plato and Aristotle came a few hundred years before him, postulating a realm of pure Ideas, First Principles, the Abstract, but they never had the audacity to identify with that realm, saying, “I am that.” Jesus did! And He challenged others to assume the same eternal identity, reminding them, “Ye are the light of the world.” “Ye are gods.” In the synagogue of His home city, Jesus delivered the first message of His public ministry. Here are a few words from Luke 4:18-21: “The spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the broken-hearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and the recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, to preach the acceptable year of the Lord... This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears.” Shortly after He spoke these words He had to escape because there were people present who wanted to kill Him—and that was at the beginning of His ministry.
Authentic expression is powerfully disturbing of the status quo, but it is exquisite and wonderful, silken and fragrant, as the High Lama said, and not an arduous task at all to those whose hearts are open, who are hungry and want to eat nourishing food. The implications of authentic expression are apocalyptic. The weight of embodied personal knowing—that is something to think about! It is not an arduous task at all. This is what I was called into many years ago, and I suspect it is the same with you too. And so together we can say, this is the acceptable day, this is the acceptable year of the Lord—for my coming forth with increased passion for the spirit, for the Word. The door to the hidden waterfall is open and anyone who is well prepared may walk through.

Conscious Angelic Incarnation

We are well aware that the authority and control of what is happening on earth is not vested in the human intellect. The earth is the Lord’s, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein. This is the fact of the matter, rather than the human fancy which claims that everything belongs to human beings and may be manipulated and controlled and directed by the human intellect. The sad result of all this is evident enough. So there are those who no longer put so much store by what the arrogant human intellect puts forth, as though it were the reason why one should do what one does.
We delight, in this setting now, to acknowledge that the earth is the Lord’s and that there is a creative process at work by which the truth may once again prevail on earth. That truth will not prevail by reason of continuing endeavors on the part of the human intellect to boost its own value, but comes because there are angels present in human form whose minds and hearts are sufficiently yielded and open to acknowledge the fact. If one has assurance, as has been common in human nature, that the understanding of the mind is supreme and is required to direct everything that occurs on earth, then the fact that there are incarnate angels will not be known to those minds. They are so full of their own self-importance—maybe not always their own particular self-importance but a worship of the holy cow which is identified in this way. We are aware that there are many, many such holy cows, but the central one is that of the human intellect, as though that was supreme: it should be allowed to direct everything that happens. Then by reason of this direction, while things seem to be going a little bit awry, nevertheless by a continuing process of intellectual effort the things that are going awry because of that intellectual effort are going to be set straight again. That doesn’t sound like intelligence to me. It sounds like stupidity! And, of all things, the human intellect is stupid.
The stupidity comes because it is addicted to its own supposed ability to accomplish anything. The idea is, of course, as we were noting this morning even, that the human mind can think what it pleases. If it is capable of thinking about it, capable of developing something, then that should be thought about and developed just because it imagines that it is capable of doing this. All kinds of things are developed on the basis of good intentions; there are other intentions that are not so good, rather more hidden; but all the good intentions that the human intellect has had to improve the lot of human beings on earth, backfire. Somewhere along the way they backfire. These wonderful advances that are made in scientific understanding and discovery are found to be dreadful things later on.
One of the most dreadful things that has occurred in the experience of the human race is this vast multiplication of human beings on earth. If a few human beings functioning on the basis of the efforts of the human mind were able to sustain a society which seemed more or less pleasing to themselves, for a while anyway, this becomes more and more difficult as there is a multiplication of people. And there is insistence still that there is the right to produce more and more people. This is another sacred cow. The motherhood question is a sacred cow: you can’t question motherhood. Yet this proliferation of human beings on earth is bringing so many things to point, revealing to anyone with the slightest intelligence that the way that human beings have gone, have been going, and are still going, is not the way to go. However, because this is so deeply entrenched in human experience, at the moment it appears to most that there isn’t any other way to go.
The way we are going is being questioned more and more, but what else is there? Well we know. And we had better be in position—not to tell everybody about it, because what good does that do? People are told about all kinds of things, but it doesn’t make any difference to their worship of holy cows. What does make a difference is the fact that responsibility is taken by those who become aware in mind and heart of this angelic incarnation, of the fact that there are angels, and I am one. Each one may say that. We look around and we see angels, yes that’s true. There are quite a few here in this room at the moment—not very many compared to the population of the world, but enough—enough here at this time for now, just as there are enough in other places at this time sufficient for now. That is something that is acceptable to angels, even though it is not acceptable to human nature. Human nature is hooked on the idea of numbers: something is valuable because of numbers. It may be numbers of dollars, of course, or francs or pounds or whatever they are, ecus these days I understand, but also numbers of people. If you have a sufficient number of people going along a certain path, that must make it right, even though at the end of the path they all fall off over the edge of the cliff.
It isn’t a matter of numbers; it is a matter of angels. That is the sole thing that is in question: whether there are going to be any angels in expression in human form on earth, or whether everybody is going to proclaim human nature and continue to proclaim that, trying to find the answer by all of these various manipulations. Now there are angels who begin to become conscious of the fact that they are present on earth in human form. The angels are always conscious of that. Human minds and hearts haven’t acknowledged the fact, but are presumably beginning to do so. We rejoice that this is so, because it places upon us a new awareness of the reason for our presence here on earth. We begin to become aware that we were sent, for one thing, as angels, and the human mind and heart begin to accept and acknowledge this fact. Only when that is accepted and acknowledged is it known on earth. As long as human minds and hearts are busy denying it and finding reasons and justifications for making sure that it isn’t true, the angels are inhibited; there is no means by which anything can be extended angelically out of heaven into the earth.
But now there is something, and one of the evidences of this is that angels recognize each other. We become aware of each other on a basis that allows for coordination—you could put it that way; what it is really is the experience of love, the emergence of love through human hearts, acknowledged by human minds. As this happens the angel is present, because the primary characteristic of the angel is love. Emerging through human forms, minds and hearts, then the experience of love begins to be known and there is a sense of belonging, a sense of home, a sense of oneness, of being part of one beautiful, coordinated whole.
This angelic awareness comes from above, one might say—it is a way of describing the fact that it is higher than what has been known in human nature—but it also comes from below. We may recognize that the planet, the earth, is relatively quite large when considered in relationship to the surface of the earth where human beings scratch around like chickens. It doesn’t go very deep, like chickens. There is far more of the earth into which human beings have not been able to penetrate than there is of it into which they have been able to penetrate. So there is a little skin around the surface of the earth and some of the atmosphere above, which is being very thoroughly polluted, in which human beings function; but the main body of the earth has remained untouched in a direct sense by these human scratchings on the surface.
There is something that is in the core of the earth which has been recognized in terms of heat, fire, that relates to the fire of the sun, for instance. As there is something emerging into conscious awareness through a few human beings on earth, some of them here present in this room, there is also something which arises from the core of the earth to meet what it is that is coming down from heaven, so to speak. What is coming down from heaven is the coming forth of the angel through human hearts and minds and bodies. And there is something rising up from below, far more rising up from below than is exemplified by the forms of life on the surface of the earth. This rising up from below has a relatedness to what happens through the forms of life on the surface of the earth that we think of as nature; it rises up through nature. It should rise up through the human population too, but of course there has been a very solid barrier in this regard, set up because of this endeavor by human beings to do what they want to do and to extend the intellectual control of what happens on the surface of the earth to everything that they can get their hands on. This has been done. We can speak of it in a collective sense and that takes it away from ourselves a bit; but it has been true of each individual, because each individual has sought to get his hands on what was in the vicinity, apparently controllable and ownable.
Now the awareness comes that there has indeed been a den of thieves, and that included us. It is a wonderful thing to recognize this, to realize that mentally and emotionally, and physically consequently, we have been thieves. We have tried to possess the earth. Well we know now, because some sort of angelic consciousness has begun to emerge, that that really isn’t the truth of the matter. We are not designed to be thieves but to provide the means by which the Lord possesses His own. But that is only possible by reason of human beings. That is presumably why we have continued to exist on the surface of the earth: that somehow, one day, by some means, there would be a restoration of this facility of man to the state for which it was designed, so that the order and the balance might be restored.
As has been indicated, there is a certain order and balance which has been maintained by nature. It becomes more and more difficult for nature to maintain that order and balance, in view of the way that the human mind has been operating, and the human heart of course also. Human hearts have been filled with various desires, acquisitive desires and otherwise, and the mind has come along and justified them. It’s very good at rationalization, almost instant rationalization. We find, “I want to do this,” and therefore immediately I have all the reasons in the world why I should; it is immediately rationalized and justified.
But now, relinquishing this sort of imbecile function, we may once again come into an awareness of the reason why, as angels, we have come into the earth; not to follow out all of these endless and confusing trails of human nature but to let those go. But the human mind and heart has to do it. The angel is quite willing, but human minds and hearts have been reluctant. However there has been something happening, and a new consciousness of purpose on earth has come. There is a purpose for man on earth, but that purpose is angelic: it is a heavenly purpose and not an earthly purpose. The earth reflects the heavenly purpose rightly, but the purpose does not originate in the earth.
Because there is something rising up from the earth and something coming by reason of conscious angelic incarnation from above, everything is caught in between that is on the surface of the earth. What we call nature is delighted to be caught in between; but humanity, in a general sense, is not so delighted to be caught in between. The squeeze comes on and it is uncomfortable. One of the sacred cows insofar as human beings are concerned is comfort. Everybody wants to be comfortable. They want to be comfortable even though they function in a way that makes it quite impossible.
Now, finally, angelic consciousness begins to emerge and there is an awareness of comfort from the angelic standpoint, because the angel is quite comfortable. All that is uncomfortable is human nature. One way or another human nature is always uncomfortable and complains about it, so that the most popular sport on the face of the earth is the sport of complaint. Everybody does it, about the weather on down the line in every field. As angels put in an appearance there is an awareness that there is really nothing to complain about, because the creative process is working and is emerging in what we spoke of this morning as magnetic expression. [greatcosmicstory.blogspot.com/2021/09/a-different-kind-of-leadership.html] The creative field is emerging into the field of human operations, and if there is a resistance to it it is uncomfortable. It is uncomfortable to human minds and hearts, it is uncomfortable to human nature. And human nature is inclined to become a little desperate, because it is passing away. While there isn’t any great conscious awareness yet on the larger scale of the fact that human nature is passing away, sufficiently resilient minds and hearts and bodies are quite aware of the fact that it is passing away, because here comes the angel!
We share the responsibility of participating in this creative process which restores the planet, the forms of life on the surface of the planet, and the world that has heretofore been claimed by mankind, to the true owner. And the True Owner is represented by His angels. He sends forth His angels into the earth to gather the elect. The elect of course, as we noted this morning, are those who respond to the magnetic field, the creative field that is set up by reason of the presence of the angels. Those are the elect.
It isn’t a matter of unfurling our banners and unsheathing our swords and going to possess the land, as used to be the idea of human nature. At the time of the Crusades, for instance, the idea was that they were possessing it for the Lord, presumably. But that’s not the way to do it. It doesn’t work, does it? They were defeated. The Saracens, or whoever they were, had just as much right to be there as the Christians did, because the fact of the matter was that none of them had a right to be there. This is one of the human rights, the holy cows, that has been maintained. So it isn’t a matter of having a cause and going after that cause. That’s the way of human nature, that’s the way of death. It simply is a matter of allowing this magnetic creative field to be established, and that is the sole leadership that is required.
Then those who will come will come. They can’t help themselves. We have some awareness of that because we couldn’t help ourselves. At least we are becoming aware increasingly that we couldn’t help ourselves, that we didn’t choose to associate with whatever we think of as this … how we might have described this movement in our own consciousness. We were chosen; we were fingered. “You, you and you”—a call for volunteers! Here we are, angelically present with minds and hearts increasingly willing to let it be so, let it be the way it really is. And there is nothing more comforting than to be associated with the way it really is. That is where the comfort is. That is what might be called the coming of the Comforter. The discomforter is very thoroughly present, as witness all the complaints there are! But becoming associated in mind and heart with the angelic reality which we are brings a sigh of relief to mind and heart. Now at last we can relax, without feeling anymore that there is a hostile world all around us with ogres there ready to rend us in pieces, so that we always have to have our human defenses up. Angelically speaking we don’t have anything to defend, because nothing can encroach upon this angelic heaven.
The angelic heaven is to come into the earth, and it comes in with power and great glory. It is a wonderful thing. But there are hosts of people who don’t think so, because they are trying to establish and sustain their own human ideas of the way things should be. We have masses of people, don’t we, doing this all the time now. I am sure that terrorists, for instance, are very sincere about their efforts. They imagine that this is the way to go, or they wouldn’t go that way, presumably. And there is very little difference between that and what is considered to be the more normal function of human nature. It is the same thing, really: “We are going to go the way we want to go. We will try to do it in a more gentlemanly fashion, but we want what we want and we are going to get it.” That’s human nature speaking, of course.
We no longer associate ourselves with that, because the earth is the Lord’s, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein. And that is what is being proven out. It hasn’t been proven out up to this point, because there was no focused body permitting the angelic expression on earth—a unified, focused body. This has never happened. It certainly didn’t happen at the time of Jesus. The disciples had very little understanding of what was going on at all. And afterward, of course, they experienced something or other, but that was taken by human nature and used according to the human intent: “We are going to convert thousands of people.” That’s a good idea, isn’t it? Even Emissaries have had that idea back along the way. I trust it has finally dissolved, because it is not a matter of converting anyone. It is a matter of letting the angel come forth. It is a matter of living, a matter of daily momentary experience. And we share this, angelically speaking.
We find, as angels, that we belong together—not always nudging up against each other. We may be anywhere on the face of the earth but still know we belong together, and are aware that there is an easy and natural movement occurring by reason of this forming body through which the angelic expression appears, the creative lines of force are set up, and the whole process is in action Let it work! It’s no use taking the attitude, “Well I’ve got to make it work.” Nobody can make it work; it is working! All that has to be done is to accommodate that working. Let it be accommodated in our own living and, behold, all things are made new. And no one can stop it; it is something absolute.
Finally it is coming to pass. There have been a lot of people waiting around for the second coming of Christ. There was a very slow elevator that I was riding in one time, and it took forever to get to the floor where you were pushing the button, and a comment was made to me: “This is like waiting for the second coming of Christ.” It doesn’t happen in the way that human beings expect it to happen, and it doesn’t happen without human beings taking responsibility for the fact of it. Here is the second coming of Christ, if you want to put it that way—but I never like to put it that way, because it conjures up all sorts of peculiar ideas in human consciousness. It is the emergence of the angels sent forth into the earth to gather the elect from the four winds, from one end of the heaven to the other. One end of the heaven to the other: it is done from a heavenly standpoint, not from an earthly standpoint. It is reflected in what happens in the earth.
So we rejoice to participate in something tremendous, to become aware of the fact that here we are to do this, to let it happen—not only this little grouping sitting here in La Sauge, but through others in many places. And it doesn’t require vast numbers. It would never happen if it required vast numbers. Where would you find them? No, it requires a select few, shall we say, a company of angels who are sent forth to do this. And because they carry the authority of the One who sent them forth, it will be done. It will certainly be done. And behold, all things are made new: a new heaven and a new earth.
It has been a beautiful day here, and a beautiful evening. Here is the body taking form, a particular aspect of it this evening and this morning. We delight to share the process, and we are keenly aware of the far larger extent of that body which is moving increasingly in a coordinated manner, under the dominion of the spirit of life, to bring forth what is needful, to gather the elect in the way that they are gathered in the heavenly sense, that all things may be brought into order and balance once again. Man is essential to the order and balance in nature. Nature can function after a fashion on its own, but what is the point? What would be the point of having a planet without man, just nature? What would it achieve? It is the fact that man is present that provides the potential for creative meaning to everything that is happening on earth, including what is happening through nature. Nature seeks the dominion of man, but man has been so long absent and nature has been so thoroughly disappointed by the antics of human nature.
We are delighted to have shared this hour here at La Sauge and with you all at Sunrise and in Mickleton. So the time comes when we must complete this particular focus of spirit which has been moving through this configuration of people by reason of the angels who are present. I thank God for all the angels. So we will complete this telephone connection and complete our time of service together here, letting the spirit that has been moving through all of us now continue to move through us wherever we may be, to the glory of the One whom we are here on earth to represent and to serve. It is a joy to know these things, to be in position to speak the truth consistently by reason of our own individual living.
