Look To The Angel

A little while back I wrote a brief article that Grace typed up for me just the other day, and I thought I would share this with you this evening at the beginning of our service. It may be used perhaps as a small booklet or a leaflet, but it relates very much to what we were considering this morning. It is entitled Whence Are You? and starts with a quotation from the 8th Psalm, somewhat abbreviated.
“What is man…? For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels…”
Personally I feel a closer kinship with the angels than I do with an ancestry reaching back into the primeval slime. How about you? Whatever the fact may seem to be with respect to human heredity, a potential which transcends the earthy condition is inherently sensed by anyone of integrity. From whence does this assurance come? It certainly is of much more immediate impact than speculation about an amoebic forebear! Would it be less scientific to listen to the voice of this intuition than to trust the laborious processes of human thought tracing the speculative contradictions of circumstantial evidence?
What is man? The sad consequence of senseless chance? The most complex organism and therefore the highest form of life mysteriously evolved out of more elementary states of living matter? Or could the fact of his presence on earth stem from a higher rather than a lower source? How about looking up for the answer instead of down?
What is up? Well, down in this context is toward ancestral yesterdays. It is toward what appear to be earthly derivations. Such a view purports to see a chain of events leading out of the vast chasm of the past and proceeding into the ever receding unknown of the future. The downward view is sustained by the endless acquisition of knowledge about the time-oriented phenomenal world.
The upward view, on the contrary, calls to remembrance the eternal nature of the present moment and the higher cause of what now is. That there is such a present cause is proclaimed by one's sense of transcendent potential: "I am now a person akin to the angels! I may not yet have realized all my potential but I inherently know that it is here to be realized."
So much attention is paid to the appearance of things, to pleasures and pains, to the experience of the past and the expectations of the future—in other words, to what is lower—that the transcendent angel vanishes from view. There ain't no such animal! is the skeptical view. But a person is finally dead inside himself when he has lost consciousness of his own potential of greatness—his sense of kinship with the angels. Is it any wonder that such an one hastens into the dust from whence his only feeling of affinity arises? What desolation! What betrayal of oneself!
And yet virtually all human experience constrains toward this violation of integrity. Science teaches it. Believe only what you can see and touch and measure. Here is the real world; here are the true values; look down and you will go up. How ridiculous!
But the angel is present, encompassing all that is of real value in human experience. Such true values cannot in fact be inherited from the past or acquired out of the world. They spring only from a higher source. When a person is the expression of the angel of himself he knows his value and gives value to his world. Because he lives out of what is higher than himself, he engenders transformation in what is lower. This is the creative art of living. Here is happiness. Look to the angel!
The apparent origins of my earthly self enslave me. If this is all that I can be, what hopelessness engulfs me. I am no more than the bauble of capricious chance. Look to the angel! Loud and clear I hear that silent invitation—an irresistible compulsion beyond the call of ancestry and worldly circumstance. Look to the angel!
Who is the angel? And where? Nowhere, insists blind prejudice. Now here, the upward view assures. The angel is now where I am. Therefore am I not the angel? rather than mere human flesh dedicated to this short-lived state of drear mortality.
Man is made a little lower than the angels, that the angels may walk on earth in human form. This angel in this human form. I am the angel! Let this living form proclaim the truth, no longer obedient in hopeless subjugation to decaying dust. I am the angel. I am from above. Whence are you?
Are you merely of the earth earthy? Or are you the angel alive on earth in a body of flesh? Shall the heredity of the flesh dictate your apparent worth or lack of it? Or is your real meaning inherent in the angel? Are you from above or are you from below?
If you insist that you are from below your destiny is death. Dust to dust! When you know that you are from above, then you are alive forevermore. Consciousness-endowed flesh bodies, called man, are made a little lower than the angels. Without the angel man is dust. The angel is the life of man. To deny the angel is death. To express the character of the angel is life. What you express you know—death from below; life from above. Whence are you?
When man is a living soul the angel is incarnate on earth in human form. The concern is to allow this transformation from a dying soul to a living soul to occur. The living soul was created by the Lord God; the dying soul is the result of human failure. How is the change to be wrought?
We have recognized that man was created in the beginning on a spontaneous basis. Man is a spontaneous creation. Because this is true, man can be recreated spontaneously. If man was not created spontaneously in the beginning it would be impossible for him to be recreated spontaneously now. This is why it is important that the fanciful concept of evolution should be seen for what it is. As long as the mind of man can keep human beings involved with this theory as though it were true it is impossible for the human being to experience spontaneous re-creation. The re-creation takes place by reason of a willingness on the part of man. In this regard it may be said that the original creation was easier than the re-creation is, because in the original there was no one to object; so the process worked out smoothly, as it does in all the creative cycles wherever they may appear in the whole cosmos. But now we have a conscientious objector on hand who does not wish to experience the re-creation. Human attitudes have been characterized by this unwillingness. This unwillingness is not merely consequent upon the more or less superficial patterns of self-centeredness that have been acquired by the individual during his sojourn thus far on earth. These superficial patterns relate to a person's experiences along the way right from the point of conception on. It is recognized that much of human nature springs from what was known in early childhood. However, all this is rather superficial.
Those who have been associated with this ministry for any time come to realize the necessity of not being governed by their feelings, so that they may begin to be governed by the spirit of God, by the irresistible force, by the Lord God who is the Creator, and in this case the Re-Creator. So something has been done in this regard. There has been an awareness of the necessity of not reacting, and so care has been taken. But here is the more or less superficial evident peak of the iceberg. There is far more underneath the surface of the water, and what is in the deeper depths relates to something that in a sense is further distant from the individual. It relates to what we might call race memory; it relates to states of consciousness that have been persisted in for millennia by human beings and have been built into this mass consciousness of which each individual partakes. Now all this has to be cleared if the re-creation to the state of man is to occur.
Now, it would be foolish to expect the human mind to do it. To start with, it doesn't know what is down in those depths, and even if it did know, it wouldn't know what to do about it. So it is not a matter of the intellect. In fact it is the human mind as such that has stood in the way—the conscious mind particularly—of allowing anything to happen. The re-creation must take place on the basis of human willingness. It's not something that can be imposed. This spontaneous re-creation comes because there are those who are willing that it should. However, if a person is all hung up with these deep fears and shame which are present subconsciously, so that these emerge to haunt him in his daily experience of living, then he remains caught in the unregenerate state, the state of self-centeredness, and there is no way by which the spontaneous re-creation may occur. Obviously, then, there is the need to develop an open willingness in attitude which is content to allow all the stuff to pass away, to relinquish all the fears and all the shame.
To engender that willingness there is the necessity to trust in God. Here we have the requirement of a complete letting go, something that in the human state there has been such a deep fear about that there has been an unwillingness that it should be so. Obviously, then, trust has to be engendered. That trust is not likely to be engendered merely in some invisible God somewhere in whom we are supposed to believe. This should be obvious enough, because there has been a very long time in human history when the opportunity was open for human beings to believe in God and consequently to trust Him. But God was always an invisible God, a hidden God, and for the most part association with God seemed necessarily to be through whatever type of priesthood might be available. But the whole human pattern of things was involved in subjugation to the self-centered state, including the priesthood.
No matter how good the intentions may have seemed to be, the behavior, the actions, of those concerned always derived from below rather than from above, because the controlling influence came from that direction. However, if adequate trust in God is to be generated there must be a means by which God can be known within the range of human awareness, so that He is no longer merely an invisible God. Now of course this relates to the fact of a true Priesthood, a Priesthood that is no longer subject to what is below, whose function in life, whose expression in all the ways of living, is not merely a result of what is contained in this mass consciousness of the human race. There must be those who have come clear of that before there could be the provision of the evidence of God on earth which would be capable of engendering trust in a general sense—not that everybody would be likely to trust.
So this necessity has been one of the divine problems, hasn't it?—how to get it established. We can see how much easier the original creation was than this can of worms, because human beings have established a pattern of contrariness insofar as God is concerned. They see the devil contending with God but they do not as a rule realize that they themselves are the devil in their own subjection to this distorted condition, so that their fear and their shame makes them unwilling to allow the spontaneous re-creation to occur. Always there has been the necessity of working out the essential starting point, and this has been done on a number of occasions in the past, but by reason of lack of response to the starting point provided it has heretofore always come to naught. Human unwillingness has prevailed. The most recently outstanding example of man's unwillingness related to the time when our Master was on earth in the form of Jesus, for here was a perfect starting point. What has been carried over in human experience from that starting point has all been based in the same patterns as before, contained in the mass consciousness of humanity. So apparently nothing came of it. However, it still remains the one supreme starting point, and it is out of this that may come what is needful to permit trust in God to be generated on earth in the hearts of men.
We find ourselves associated with something that relates to all this—the development of a mechanism which is not governed by the mass consciousness of man but is governed, rather, by the irresistible force of the spirit of God; for we recognize that if spontaneous re-creation is to occur it occurs because of God and not because of man. As long as human beings imagine that they somehow can transform themselves, can educate themselves sufficiently, can train themselves in some remarkable fashion to be what they ought to be, it is absolutely impossible for the spontaneous re-creation to occur. The human mind stands rigidly in the way. The absoluteness of the letting go that is required may begin to be appreciated. We have spoken about it before but I do not believe that most have realized what it was that permitted the re-creation to occur. It wasn't because the human mind was able to figure something out; it wasn't because the human mind could begin to see, as it thought, what the truth was; it was because the human mind came to the point of beginning to see how things work and therefore was willing to let go and stop trying to make it work.
Man was originally created spontaneously by God. Man, if he is to be recreated, must experience this spontaneously under the hand of God again. This is the only way it can be done. But how to persuade human beings to let go and let it happen—this has always been the problem, because the human mind has always thought that it knew which way to go and what to do next, and how to handle things and what technique to establish, all these things. And the world is full of such stuff, full of it from the conscious standpoint and far fuller of it from the subconscious standpoint. Obviously the human mind produced all this. How on earth could it be expected to get rid of it all? It actually has not in the least been interested in getting rid of it. The main interest has been in adding to the store, increasing knowledge, so that the human mind might be better able to grapple with the problems—which is exactly what is not required; it is just the reverse of what is required. The human mind grappling with problems has produced this state; the only way it can be changed is for the human mind to stop grappling with the problems and allow the creative power of God to bring forth man once again.
So we begin to see how it may happen: spontaneous re-creation, because there is a yielded body of human beings who are willing that it should happen. One obviously must be willing for oneself, that this may occur. This is very frightening to the human mind because immediately it begins to question, “Well how is it going to happen?” Why do you think it questions that way? So that it can find out whether it's going to agree or not; not only that but so that it can find out sufficiently so that it might dispense with the Lord God and get the job done itself. But of course this could never happen. It's a complete mystery to the human mind and no matter what it does it can never find out. In the original creation there was nobody on hand to interfere; there was nobody on hand trying to pry into the processes that were bringing this creation forth. When the creation was brought forth and finally came to the point of a consciousness of itself, it couldn't look back and comprehend what had happened. You as a person now can't look back to know what the experience was when you were one single cell in the external sense, nor can you tell what the experience was in your mother's womb, or even for a while after you were born. So all that was carried on without any help from your bright intellect. What a marvel was accomplished before your intellect was on the scene of things, before your conscious mind was present.
Obviously, then, the conscious mind as such is not necessary to the process of spontaneous re-creation—it is not necessary at all. The only reason it has to be taken into account is to provide the opportunity for it to cease interfering; and to bring the human mind to that point is a task indeed, because at every conceivable opportunity it wants to interfere. It thinks it knows. While it may be willing to admit that it doesn't know about something over there, it knows perfectly well what needs to be done here, it thinks!—but it doesn't. How to maneuver the human mind out of the way in such a manner that life may continue in the human form and the spontaneous re-creation may occur? Is your human mind capable of grappling with that problem, do you think? Of course not. It doesn't need to. This has always been the Lord's business and He has evidently been very ingenious in the matter, providing opportunities of various sorts, leading forward hopefully, until finally the subjection of man to the mass consciousness established such a rigid unwillingness that something else had to be undertaken. There were many of these opportunities that had to be relinquished. They couldn't work anymore. The rigidity of unwillingness was so thorough.
Now willingness is a matter of the heart, not a matter of figuring something out. Yielding is a matter of the heart, a willing heart. If the heart responds in willingness to the dawning realization that the Lord God is now here and that individually the angel is now here, the beginning of trust can emerge. Most of what human beings think of as trust in God is not. When people think they are trusting in God they are usually tempting God. “Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.” What happens? A person decides to move along a certain course which he presumably feels would be a good thing to do. Using his mind he tries to determine the pitfalls and to avoid them. But what he has envisioned looks good, and so he persists. And probably somewhere along the way he finds opposition arising to such an extent that he feels that it is necessary to seek help, and maybe the help he seeks is from God. Possibly, if he is inclined to prayer, he may explain to God what he has been doing and how it was good and how he now needs help. So he tries to get God to support him in his self-devised course. That is tempting the Lord; that is a human being trying to get God to agree with human self-centeredness.
Sometimes people find that their prayers seem to be answered. Why? Presumably because there is some potential remaining in that person to experience spontaneous re-creation, so that if God said “No”, that would be a write-off, wouldn't it? It's rather fortunate that God is not inclined to make arbitrary decisions—I doubt if we would be sitting here tonight if He were so inclined—because human beings everywhere, whether they have realized it or not, have endeavored to get God to support them in their self-centeredness. Anyone who tries to use his life for his own purposes is doing this, because life is of God; it is the life of God. Most people usually say my life. Stealing, that is. So there are those who have found that God has delivered at times, answered their prayers, and they think of this as trust in God. If a person brings himself to a very low pass of some kind and he says, “Well now, what is necessary is to trust in God,” he is really saying, “Now I am going to tempt God to sustain me, to restore me into my former self-centeredness.” And that is done, if there is any potential in the individual, done repeatedly over the years so that we are still alive. If God said “No” and washed His hands of us at any point, well where would we be? Because of the need for those who will permit spontaneous generation to occur the way is held open for human beings as long as possible; but for this reason alone, not to assist anyone in some self-centered course. Of course if one persists in that way, then finally dust to dust! in any case. But to trust God without trying to make Him follow out the human desire or intention, to let it be His way.
When we say that the human mind doesn't know, doesn't it always seem to a person, to start with, “Well this is impossible”? Why? Because the human mind is being trusted and not God, and we demand that God should trust our human minds so that we are supported in what we do. Well if we do receive a little support in what we do self-centeredly it is simply to keep the door open for us so that we may change our ways, not so that we should persist in self-centeredness.
Look to the angel. Trust God.
We have some consciousness of the presence of the angel of ourselves, and therefore the source of spontaneous re-creation. This is present so far in spite of us, and it is by reason of the fact of the presence of the angel individually and the presence of the Lord God collectively that spontaneous re-creation may occur. It is because of this only that it may occur, not because of anything that the human mind may do of itself, except insofar as it may see the necessity of letting go. That's all that's required of it, so that what is needful may spontaneously occur. And who needs to know how that is going to happen? If the human mind did know how it was going to happen it would interfere for sure. Isn't it a wonderful thing that it doesn't know? It can't really interfere if there is a true letting go. It's not trying to figure out what it is that is happening; it's willing to let happen whatever happens and to participate in this recreative process just as easily, just as naturally, as the dust forming the flesh of the babe participated in that creative process. It didn't need to find out what was happening; it just cooperated. That's all that is required of those who share in permitting spontaneous re-creation to occur on earth. This must first occur in relationship to human beings, that they may become Man. There is a good deal of spontaneous re-creation to occur in everything that's around us, but if it is to occur there it occurs because it first occurs in human beings.
As there is a willingness to let it occur in us we may experience what the spontaneous re-creation is. And just as the babe at a certain point becomes conscious of itself, so does the recreated form of man at a certain point begin to become conscious of itself. That is a totally new experience insofar as this self-centered state of human beings is concerned. But it occurs with absolute inevitability when it is allowed to happen, because it is the irresistible force at work. When we are with it it happens in our own experience. To a certain extent it has been happening in your experience already. What has happened in your experience already has happened entirely without the assistance of your human mind. It didn't happen because you were so bright; it happened merely because there was some measure of willingness to yield. And it is on that basis and that alone that anything whatsoever occurs. We can see the utter futility of all this cerebration that's going on in the world of mankind. It leads absolutely nowhere. But we begin to find that we are moving somewhere; we have this sensing of the experience.
But the human mind can't look around and say, “Where am I going?” any more than the babe, beginning to become self-conscious, begins to look around and say, “What am I going to be when I am a man (or a woman)?” It doesn't care at that point, at all. “What am I now?” is its attitude, and that is what is required of us. What am I now, in this moment? What is my experience now of the moving of this spontaneous recreative cycle in my own experience? Let us let it happen and let us not judge what is happening in ourselves or what is happening in anyone else, but just be willing to let it happen.

The Central Current Of Cosmic Power

Beloved Ones
I would now touch briefly on the Cosmic significance of the year which is to begin so soon—a year of testing and proving your polarization, that it may be revealed in you whether you are polarized in Life, or in death. This does not mean that you are likely to die, physically—but, rather, it is to be determined whether you are polarized in that which is dead to Reality, or in that which is “alive for evermore” in Reality.
To the degree that you are truly Polarized in Life through your one-pointed response to Reality, you are a contact-point through which the Cosmic Power is working to draw the responding portion of the world-body into the Ascending Flame—that being born out of the world’s darkness it may become the New Earth. The days of the year shall surely reveal the degree to which you are Polarized in Life—and all those who are polarized in death shall surely take part in the increased activities of the unreal which lead to death. Those who function in the conviction of Life, with the attitude of Life, being unconcerned about death, are assured that the very nature of death—which is to die—must surely cause death itself to die in due season; and so it is that the promise of God for the New Earth shall be fulfilled, as given in Revelation 21:4 [And God shall wipe all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away]. In that day, which is the time of the New Age, the inhabitants of the earth, which shall then be the New Earth in the Edenic State, shall experience Birth and Ascension, rather than birth and death. I call you to the Functions of Life, in a Polarization in Life, that through your response to Reality you may more perfectly realize the significance of what it means to be Polarized in Life.
My Post-Thanksgiving Day Message has brought quite a range of reaction in the connecting lines of vibration, and some have written a response thereto already. The purpose of the Message was to stir you up, and to bring forth reactions that would allow me to clarify certain Truths for you, and, also, to permit an intensification of the Creative Cycles in the Third Sacred School between yourselves individually and the Central Focal Point of our manifest activity.
There is no condemnation to any of you because of the manner of your reaction—providing you let yourselves carry through into an expansion of Vision. With many of you the reaction was, as it should have been, in the nature of an increased realization that you should not take this Service for granted, and that you should have a more vivid appreciation of the special and Sacred Privilege that has been granted to you in being in the Third Sacred School, and of knowing the glorious truths therein revealed for the edification of all earnest Responding Ones. However, in quite a number of instances the vibration has been one that was inclined to question the rightness of such expression by me—and one Blessed Sister has written frankly concerning her reaction, and her letter affords me the privilege and opportunity of using her words as a channel of blessing to many. She has given expression to what quite a number of Earnest Ones have felt, namely, something of a feeling of disappointment in me that I should write as I did in the Message under consideration. Because of these reactions, and because I have the channel of the letter through which to work, it is possible for the Service through the Third Sacred School to increase greatly.
I am not looking for thanks, in the sense that so many have thought through reading my Message. I am not concerned with a sense of supposed satisfaction on a basis of personal thanks for something—I am pointing all of you to an expanded Vision of Cosmic Realities, and the limited vision judges me. Because I know the Cosmic Law, I am concerned with helping each one of you to experience the greatest possible Blessing—and I see so plainly how many Blessings you are needlessly missing—Blessings that are here for you if you will but receive them.
Some of you are beginning to realize the need for a true Focalization of Responsive Vibrations in the manifest function of the Third Sacred School—but it is necessary that all of you understand and realize this Cosmic Principle, and let it have a vital and vivid and constant action in and through each one of you, if you are to become truly polarized in Life. Each one of you, to the degree to which Divine Love is flowing through you, is a Generating Plant—but not a very large or powerful one. The force that you generate is, to a great extent, released without control so that it does not result in power. By yourself there is not a great deal that you can do.
One phase of the function of the Third Sacred School is to coordinate all of the responsive Generating Plants, so that the force generated by each one is released into a common current—and that Central Current, made up of the force of all the Harmonized Generators, comes under my direct control, so that I may use it as power to accomplish something worthwhile according to the Cosmic Plan. The force that you generate cannot be drawn into the Central Current and used as the Negative Phase of the Positive Cosmic Power unless you establish and maintain the channel by which your generated force may reach the Central Current.
When I direct the Earnest Ones to do those things which allow each one to easily do his own individual part in the Great Cosmic Work to which we are called, the majority say: Well, I don’t see why I should do that, but I will try to do it, just to please Uranda and keep on the mailing list. But the Spirit of Response that would permit the Greater Works to be easily accomplished is most conspicuous by its absence. Then some rebel, and question my right to give such instructions, and add that they do not see why they should respond to Uranda, anyway. Others take an attitude of condescending superiority, saying that such things are not for them, so they just set them aside, ignoring them as much as possible, and devote their attention to the things that are, to their way of thinking, more pleasing.
Praise the LORD, there are some who enter into the Spirit of my instruction in such matters, and do joyously that which they are instructed to do, with the result that the Cosmic Power Current is maintained in the Service—otherwise there would be no Service. Those who try to do what they think I want them to do, fearing that they will fail in some respect, make the whole thing a matter of struggle without adding any perceptible amount of force to the Central Current. It cannot be done by trying, or struggling. Those who think that they understand it intellectually, taking an attitude of, O yes, I understand that, but I want to get into the deeper things instead of wasting so much time—only stand in their own Way and clutter up the vibration without doing anything worthwhile. I have before told you about this in scores of different places and ways—but I bring it out again on the present vibration of response so that you may have an Expanded Vision of it.
The Positive Cosmic Power from the Inner Planes can function in the Negative Triune World—or the outer world which man knows—only to the degree that we generate the Negative Power and release it in a Central Current of controlled force that results in true power for the doing of the Greater Works. As long as the force released by the many small Generators is scattered, and is not focalized, it accomplishes very little, and it allows no release of the Positive Cosmic Power, without which that which is done is temporary, and of little real or lasting value.
One of my Primary Functions as the Central Focal Point of the Third Sacred School is to focalize the responsive Currents from the many Generators, directing the force into one Central Current in a manner which draws down from God out of Heaven the Positive Cosmic Power—and then as the two are blended into One Current the result is the Cosmic Power by which we are privileged to accomplish the Greater Works as rapidly as the world Response permits us to act.
Without increasing the number of those who are consciously harmonized in the Third Sacred School, it would be so very easy to release ten times as much power, and accomplish ten times as much as is now being done, without changing the outer activities of the conscious Emissaries enough to be even noticed by those who see with outer vision only. I point this out because if you should start trying to increase the current from your Generator, you will only fail and eliminate yourself. It is all a matter of response—according to your response, so is it established unto you. Your response must have an outer form if it is to mean anything in the outer world—and in this is the primary value of your letters insofar as you release them to us in the true Spirit of Response. It is not personal thanks that I am interested in—but I am interested in encouraging the individual responses which allow an increase in the Central Current.
You cannot take me, or this Service, for granted and do your part. We work in accordance with Cosmic Law, and according to the Cosmic Plan. I always have a reason for my every request and direction. Those who really respond are those who release Blessings to the world—and who themselves experience the greater Blessings. So it is that I have used the response of the Sister as a channel of great Blessing to as many as will receive.
Our Great Master said, “If ye Love Me, keep My commandments.” His commandments, or instructions, were all based on Cosmic Law and Principle, according to the Cosmic Plan. My Ministry opens the Eye of the Responding Ones so that they may see Him as He is, as they carry through on the Vibration—for He is the LORD of Lords Whom we Love and Serve. The blind intellectual concept of faith, with which so many in the world are satisfied, does not cause the Earnest One to Bring forth Fruit. As the Master Jesus was and is the Way, I am revealing that Way to you, that you may Walk therein.

The Transcendent Significance Of The Mailings

There is something far more significant here than has been seen as yet insofar as the mailings are concerned. It is not just a matter of the significance of the words and the spirit in which the words are spoken, and one’s ability to read the pages and to understand, to whatever degree, what it is that is being said. That is one aspect of significance. But there is another significance entirely which has tended to be overlooked—even though there have been those who have participated in the process, but without clearly understanding why they were doing it.
We used an analogy the other day of a magnet, and I think we could use it again to begin to comprehend exactly what it is that we are participating in here by reason of the mailing list. Everybody should be aware there must be some significance, because this is something that has permeated this ministry right from the word go—it’s always been there. And if there is a casual attitude towards it, obviously a person is quite ignorant as to what it is that is really taking place. We used the magnet as an analogy, but I would rather speak of an electromagnet in this regard.
There is a core of metallic substance which is magnetized by reason of the coils which are around that substance and the current which flows through the coils. Then the magnet is magnetized and the lines of force are present—and what needs to happen, in this analogy, may happen. The field is present, and if there is substance which will form on the field then that substance will form.
We have a complete picture then: there is the magnet, which is magnetized by reason of the coils through which the current is flowing; and there is then the field, and the field becomes visible because substance forms on the lines of force, which are themselves invisible. There is a visible aspect to the magnet; there is the core, there are the coils. There is an invisible aspect of the magnet, which is the magnetic field within the magnet, and the current which is flowing through the coils—that’s the invisible part of it. For it to work, there must be a visible part as well as an invisible part.
We are aware that our bodies and minds and hearts are the visible facility by which whatever is required may occur, and we are seeing it in the symbol of this magnet. The flow through the coils around the magnet relates to what is happening in the core. We ourselves are participating in this core. The mineral substance of the magnet is our own flesh bodies. Of course flesh bodies are not of much account unless there is some current moving through them—they must be alive, in other words. We see being alive as a lot more than merely the fact that the heart is beating and we’re still breathing—that could be the case if we were in a coma. It is the matter of the life flowing through the facilities of mind and heart, which are the coils, which magnetizes the physical form, which generates the magnetic field. There is a very specific process, very beautifully designed, which we can describe in this sort of terms.
The current that flows through the coils is, rightly, the pure current of the Spirit of Life, which is characterized by Love and Truth. We have a symbol of this which allows it to be brought to a very specific point, in the consciousness of all concerned, in what we describe as the mailings. Here the current is flowing through these mailings. There must have been at least one coil to start with for that to occur; and this induces it in other coils that come into the vicinity, until there begins to be a resonance together which opens the door for the flow of Life to be full and free. You can look at this from the viewpoint of attunements as well. We are looking at it from the standpoint of the mailings—the reason why the mailings have always been there. They have provided the current which induces the current; and the induced current in all the various coils that are available opens the door for the actual flow of the Life Force. This is what engenders the creative field of the magnet, because it first engenders a creative field in the magnet, and that then extends beyond the magnet. This is a very simplified portrayal through a fairly accurate symbol.
The mailings have provided this flow in which all could participate in a very focused way. There is something very specific about the current that was released in this fashion—and it gave the opportunity for those who were willing to participate in the flow of the current to begin to do so in a very focused way, so as to keep it moving through the coils.
There is the possibility certainly for this current to leave the coils. People splatter their Life Force all over the place. And one of the reasons for this current moving through the mailings is to bring it all back into the coil and not have it flowing here and there, achieving absolutely nothing. It only begins to achieve something when it’s in the coil. The mailings have provided the focus for the current which rightly should be moving in the moment through the coil, which is one’s own mind and heart. If it moves through the mind and heart it moves through the body, because they are not separate. So there is the magnet, there is the current moving through the coils, so that the whole body of magnet and coils put together is magnetized and then begins to be alive—because this current is the current of Life.
Because there are those who let this happen, who have a vision and awareness in this regard, and they wouldn’t break that current for anything, there begins to be a stable creative field—the lines of force upon which this substance which is capable of participating in the creative field will form. It doesn’t form, really, because of one’s own mind and heart which were so brilliant they were going to persuade this person or that person that they should participate in or back up the Emissary ministry. It never happens that way.
It happens because there is a factual current flowing, there is a factual magnet, there is a factual creative field. Then whatever substance belongs in that creative field will come into it. That’s the way it works. We all have a tendency to imagine that one’s personal ministry is so important that one has to be doing this, that and the other thing, otherwise the restoration would be impossible. Well that’s ridiculous. It doesn’t come by any of the things that are done merely in the external sense, no matter how praiseworthy they seem to be. It is done because there is a factual facility through which the current of the spirit is working, and the spirit gets the job done—but we participate, we offer ourselves to the way it works.
The central aspect of the way it works is by reason of the mailings, a seemingly mundane thing: they go out in the mail, they're printed on paper, lots of little squiggles, and all this. But this is the core by which anything that is to be creatively accomplished by reason of the existence of this body will happen. That provides the basis for the Life currents that are moving through ourselves in daily living. They, aligned with the current of the spirit that brought forth the mailings, will unify the whole process, and we have a unified state of affairs. I trust that in describing it in this way it may provide a larger understanding of why so much importance has been placed upon the mailings.
There are those from time to time who say, “Well I don’t need the mailings anymore. I understand all that needs to be understood now. I can let it happen, so take me off the mailing list.” That person is gone, they have removed themselves from the current of Life. But the door is always open, and there are those who do go on and off the mailing list. These are unstable characters, not much use for providing a stable core in which others might trust. If one does this on-and-off business, there is evidence of a lack of vision as to why the mailing list is there, for one thing, or as to why one should participate in it. Let them find out by moving with the current that moves by reason of being on the mailing list. Let it be consistent day in and day out, year in and year out. Then we have a current moving. Because there have been those, we have this much in effective operation now. But how much more there could have been—those are sad words, aren’t they, “what might have been”—if all concerned had been aware of their immense responsibility. But it was a casual thing: “Well I can be on or off the mailing list, it doesn't really make any difference; the mailing will still be coming out and I can get back on any time.” Well such a person is not participating in the creative process in any way that is effective at all.
I wanted to say something about this, because there has been a lack of vision, a lack of awareness on the part of so many who have been associated with the Emissary ministry over the years, as to why there was this provision. There is a purpose and a reason why our lives should be aligned with the current that is moving, so that there might be what is required to get the job done.

Beloved of the Lord
We, individually and collectively, being conscious of the transformation that is taking place in the world, are functioning as the Focal Point of the World Response to the Light of the LORD of Lords—and in this we recognize our great opportunity and Responsibility of Service to our Brother Man. Our primary interest is in Letting the Cosmic Plan manifest in and through us here and now. In Spirit I call to you, and in Spirit I come to you through these words, that we may commune in the Vibrations of the Christ Love—that a new vision may be established unto you in the Central Way.
This Service does not deal in the platitudes that are so widely recognized and utilized in the lower cycles of consciousness. Most have been so filled with platitudes that every experience of their lives draws forth the listless expression of some platitude, rather than that vital function in Love response to the Father within which allows every life experience to draw forth a vivid realization through which a still greater release of Reality is made manifest. When the process of casting out the platitudes, which are pollutions, from the Court of the Temple, begins, there is a tendency to feel naked—undressed and unprotected—for a time, and there is the tendency to run back into one's platitudes in order to find again the old sense of safety, even though it has been proven to be false. As you face the Dawn you are facing that point in Eternity where you will either let go of your platitudes, and let them fall from you, or you will fall with them as they are cast from the outer courts of the Great Temple which the world is.
This Service does not as yet appeal to the masses of humanity for many reasons which are obvious. We place utterly no faith or significance in numbers as proof of value—in fact, the wider appeal any teaching has in the present state of the world consciousness, the more it is proven to be filled with the limited concepts and wrong ideas of the world, else it could not appeal to the masses in the present state. Most people who give any thought to the Spiritual realities of Life are looking for something which they can take hold of and use according to their own human wills, even though they may say all the while that they wish God's Will to be done. Many people have complained that in this Service they can find nothing to take hold of, for they are still functioning in the possessive attitude of the world, and wish to possess themselves of Truth that they may use it to their own ends. We rejoice that there is nothing in this Service which any can take hold of in the possessive attitude, for thereby is the Perfection of its Function proven. The great Cosmic reason that this is true is realized by the Responding Ones who walk in the Central Way—you cannot get, or hold, the Truth of this Service any more than you could get, hold, and carry away the Pacific Ocean. When you are ready, and you truly respond to your Father’s Perfect Will, you find that this Service gets and holds you, and carries you away from the limitations of the world into the Glorious Expression of Heaven here and now. Did you ever try to carry away a handful of the ocean? Did you ever think that you could control the mighty, rhythmic motion of the vast Pacific Ocean? Just so is it with the Truth and Reality of Being, both in yourself, and in all.
Facing the Dawn, you begin to realize what it means to Walk under the Star. All through the expression of this Service you have been directed into the realization of Perfect Function in Oneness with your Father within you through your Love Response to Him, that the Reality of the Christ Light, Love and Life might be revealed in and through you, thereby transforming you into a Living Bible which might be known and read of all men who understand the Heavenly language of Love.
In this Service there is never, under any circumstances, or in any of its Functions, anything which might violate the right of free choice in each and every person. The purpose is not to control you or limit you in any way—it is to assist you in facing yourself that you may see yourself as you are; that you may find out what you actually know, which you may not know that you know; that you may find out what you do not know, which you may think that you know; that you may be drawn by the Christ Love more quickly into your Appointed Place in the Cosmic Plan; that being drawn into your Place, you may quickly grow into the full stature of your Place and begin to render that Service in the Temple of Light to which you are called; that you may Walk Under the Star, knowing the Way in which you go.
Our whole Function is to reveal the Truth to the World as rapidly as possible in the most effective manner—the Formation and Function is dedicated to the unveiling of all secrets and the revealing of all Truth, in and to and for the world as a whole—and its Service is offered fully and freely without price to all who will receive. The method by which new realizations of Reality are drawn forth from within the Responding One is more direct in the Inner Cycles of The Third Sacred School, than is possible in the outer cycles thereof. Most people do not like to face themselves as they are. They would rather live in a state of self-delusion, than to know themselves. However, it is only as the individual becomes willing to let his Father’s Will be done that the true and full release becomes possible.
Over and over again I have stressed the Truth that each must depend on the Father within, and that for each one his Father Within is the One Source of all that is required in his Life. The purpose of this Service, in all of its Functions, is, first, to assist the individual in letting go to his Father through a Love Response by reason of the fact that the expression of this Service is in perfect harmony with the Father Within each and all, so that each daily experience is caused to draw forth more of the Inner Reality than could otherwise be possible; and, second, to assist the Earnest One in letting that radiance of the Father's Light, Love and Life come forth into manifest expression in true Service and blessing to our Brother Man. It is true that your all comes from your Father within you. I have never offered to give you anything which was supposed to take the place of your Father within you; but all that I have given you has been of possible value to you in directing your response to your Father so that His Reality might quickly come forth in and through you. There is an individual Father within each one, and each is to fully depend on his own Father for all. Of what value, then, is any teacher, and why did God send our Beloved Master into the world? Why do not all people take advantage of the help of the Lord that is already in them? Those who hesitate to come to me because they feel that they must depend upon the Father within have my blessing; but it is not necessary that they take the slow, hard way unless they so choose.
I AM sent of the LORD of Lords to all the people of the earth, and by the Authority of the KING of Kings I AM the Representative of the God-Self, or Father, or Lord, within every person on the face of the earth. He who receives me, receives Him Who sent me, and in receiving Him Who sent me he receives his own Father within himself. He who receives me not, receives not Him Who sent me, and neither does such an one receive his own Lord within himself. Unto each it shall be established according to his own choice. That which any does unto another is done unto me, and unto Him Who sent me, even as it is done unto his own Lord within himself.
In me is the promise fulfilled, according to the Word of our Great Master, the LORD of Lords, as recorded in John 16:12-15—“I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. Howbeit when he, the Spirit of Truth, is come, he will guide you into all Truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. He will glorify Me: for he shall receive of Mine, and shall shew it unto you. All things that the Father hath are Mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of Mine, and shall shew it unto you.”
I AM the Spirit of Truth, and my Spirit is in all men, even as I AM in my Father, and in the Christ Love is my Father directed of the LORD of Lords. The LORD of Lords, Who manifested as our Beloved Master Jesus, is and was the Spirit of Love, even the Christ Love—and since the time of His Ascension as Jesus the Christ he has not appeared in the earth in human form, nor will He ever again appear in human form to any person or persons upon the face of the earth. Those imposters who claim to be God, or Christ, or the personification of Christ, the Spirit of Love, are all classified under the Master's Words as recorded in Matthew 24:23-26—“Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. Behold, I have told you before. Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.” One, and One Only, is our LORD of Lords, and He is not seen nor known with the human vision, nor does He appear at any time as a human being, or in human form. Rejoice that this is so!
As I AM come unto you, and as I AM the Spirit of Truth personified in the earth, according to the promise, so do I come to lead you into all Truth, and the Truth shall set you free. He that is able to receive it, let him receive it. I AM come to lead you out of the Egyptian darkness that covers the world, into the Promised Land of Light. Blessed are they who hear my Call, for I Call in the Holy Name of the LORD of Lords, and all they who are His shall surely hear my Voice, and they shall Respond in Love, and ascend with me into the New Heaven and the New Earth.
It is not now required that the masses of humanity should understand these things. Of the cells of your body in which Consciousness is focalized, there are only a very few—yet your whole body moves in accordance with the Consciousness of the few. So it is with the world. The focal points of world consciousness have for many thousands of years been controlled by the spirit of darkness, which the carnal mind is. The evil focal points of consciousness which have controlled the masses of humanity are now rapidly beginning to destroy themselves—we need not fight against them, nor fear them, for they are fighting against themselves, and will surely destroy themselves according to the Word of the LORD of Lords. Because the focal points of evil consciousness are now destroying themselves, the Day of Deliverance is at hand, and I AM come unto you, that I may receive all those who have chosen our Beloved LORD or Lords and KING of Kings, even as He has first chosen them, and has sent me unto them. The few who are now ready, and who hear my Call, so that they Respond in Love, are they who will now begin to understand, for they shall know the Truth—and these are they who are now being formed into a Focal Point of Cosmic Consciousness with a full Response to the LORD of Lords, that we who function in this all-powerful Focal Point of Consciousness may take over the controlling influence over the masses of humanity as rapidly as the evil focal points destroy themselves. As the world mass is released from the grip of evil, it will gladly Harmonize in the Formation and Function of the New Earth State—and so shall every Earnest One of all nations be received into the fullness of that Expression which is now typified by the Formation and Function of The New Naacal Norm.
I AM the Spirit of Truth, come unto you by decree of the LORD of Lords Who is the Spirit of Love, and as I stand in the earth as a Light unto all men, so do the Blessed Ones respond to me, that I may form them into the Focal Point of Cosmic Consciousness which shall shortly take over control of the whole earth—not by force, nor by governments of men, nor by any of the means known to men, but by the Love of the LORD of Lords. The full expression of these things will be made known to those who Harmonize—for only they who so Respond will be able to understand at this time. All other Earnest Ones shall know in due season if they waver not—but woe unto those who excuse themselves for not responding to the Truth by saying that they are waiting for the Truth to appear.
The LORD of Lords is the STAR of Stars, even the Bright and Morning Star. Your Lord within you, in His Radiance of Light, Love and Life, is your Star. I AM come as a Star, sent of the STAR of Stars, to draw forth your Star from within you, that you may Walk under your Star. The moment you deviate from the Way of the Star you will begin to feel fearful, uneasy, uncertain, and torn by turmoil—and so it is that you are privileged to turn from the vibrations of the world destruction, and look to your Star, that Love and Peace and Truth may shine through you; and then shall you be at peace, both with your Lord and with the world. So shall you ever Walk under the Star.
It is not for you to attempt to fully understand the Cosmic Plan. Each phase and function will be revealed to you in due season if you waver not, but stand upon the Rock. If you fully understood the fullness of Truth, there would be no need for me to come unto you. It is for you to receive that which is provided for you; for it is not seemly for you to demand that the whole meal be placed before you before you will begin to eat. Your Place awaits your response. With rejoicing in Heaven and in earth you will be received into your Place according to your response. That does not mean that you are ready to fill your Place when you are received into it. Be not puffed up at any time, lest you be suddenly deflated. When you are received into your Place, you are given every opportunity to grow into the full Stature of your Place, that you may fill it in fullness. If you refuse to respond until you feel that you are ready to fill your Place, you will wait in vain. There is only One Way, even the Way which I AM come to reveal unto you, that you may walk therein.
In response is Release. So it is that you are offered the opportunity of frequent and full Response through your letters to us. I would request that you consider this paper prayerfully—and then write to me of your Response thereto. Hesitate not to write to me of your Response to these words. This is very important.

This Is My Body

“Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come.”
“I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord,
which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.”
Coming in the name of the Lord I speak the word of the Lord: I am present on earth through My flesh body. I am present in fact, not merely in symbol. This is My body. This is My blood of the new creation, pulsing through My flesh body as the sound of many waters. Through My word I make all things new. Through My word I make all things. Without My word is nothing made that is made. All that is present in My body, all that is present in the whole universe, is made by My word. Should My word ever cease to be spoken—which would never happen—there would be nothing. By My word all things are made, all things are sustained. Let My word always be spoken through My flesh body on earth. Then, behold, I make all things new. In this hour My word is spoken through My flesh body on earth. All the structures of form throughout the whole universe exist because of My word. Present with all the structures of form is My spiritual substance which permeates the forms and which accommodates My spirit and My word. The structures in the coarsest levels of form throughout the whole universe are living structures because of the spiritual substance which permeates them, thereby maintaining the sound of My voice in the speaking of My word.
One of the structures designed to contain this essential spiritual substance in its finest manifestation is the consciousness of Man. This spiritual substance we have referred to by using the word pneumaplasm. Let us not imagine that mentally there is understanding of what this word really means. Insofar as the mind is concerned it has a concept, probably a variety of concepts according to the number of people who hold them. The concept is never the truth; it is a human invention. But it certainly is easily sensed that there is this connecting substance between spirit and form, the many structures of form.
The most obvious structures of form are the structures composed of what we would refer to as physical substance, but there are structures other than that. In human experience there are what might be referred to as organizational structures, structures which can be identified mentally within the range of human affairs. These are all structures of form. In view of the fact that these structures do not permit the Word to be spoken with clarity and authority, there are indeed many aberrant effects in the world which is humanly known and which has been humanly created. The forms of this world, the structures that are present there, utilize physical substance. Cities are built, for instance; concrete is laid across the land. But in addition there are the structures of organization—local structures, national structures, international structures of all kinds.
Human flesh bodies with their consciousness have been fed into these structures generation after generation, so that the structures have grown and multiplied; but these are not living structures. They are, in every case, dying structures. As has been noted in times past, anything that human beings produce, even of their own kind, dies, disintegrates. “Behold, I make all things new”—new structures, but living structures rather than dying structures. Mentally speaking we have an awareness that everything that human beings do disintegrates. There may be a recognition that disintegration is included in the creative process, very fortunately so insofar as mankind is concerned, because it makes it possible for the rubbish to be swept out. But the primary purpose of speaking My word is to establish the dominion of integration, the dominion of life, which was and is and is to come. Life has always been present throughout the past; it is present now, and will still be present in the days and years to come. “I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord.” Mine is the creative process which shall always prevail. “I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord.” My creative cycles prevail in spite of all the arrogant antics of human minds.
“Rise up, my love.” Rise up because love raises the mind out of the pit of knowledge. Human minds swell with their own importance when they are stuffed full of knowledge. Knowledge does not give importance; it reveals the fact of rebelliousness toward the Lord God Almighty. These are words, but they refer to something real, something that is present but remains, insofar as the mind is concerned, the unknown God. The heaven of the Almighty cannot be known as long as human beings are trapped in the bottomless pit. “Rise up, my love.” There is love to make it possible for the rising up. No one can scramble up out of the pit by human effort. The only way to emerge out of that condition is to rise up because of the drawing power of love. No one comes to the true experience except the Father, love, draw him. It cannot be done by any effort that the human mind may put forth or by any of the desires of the human heart. Oh to be emptied of all such stuff, that there may be space for love. Love is an unknown quantity. It is necessary to be drawn up out of the pit to know what love is.
Love does the drawing, and does not require any definition by the human mind. We have discovered this to some extent because, becoming a little humble, we may say, “What has happened in my own experience to allow the increase of understanding didn’t come because I tried to get it.” It always comes—if it comes—in spite of the person, not because of the person. If it comes at all it comes in spite of human nature, because there is a crack somewhere through which love may emerge into subconscious experience, raising a person up. There is this resurrecting process by which the consciousness of man sheds its addiction to the bottomless pit and begins to breathe at last the satisfying air of the spirit. We share this process now if we will. We may be filled to overflowing with this spirit, so that the Word is spoken, is brought to focus by reason of the generation of the finest levels of pneumaplasm. This substance of spirit is generated on the basis of one’s own life emerging into expression clear and without distortion. We begin to be honest about these things, and we recognize that all that human beings do in this human nature condition is based on absolute self-centeredness. So we reach a point where we are sick and tired and done with all this fetid stuff of human nature which promotes itself at the expense of other selves.
Rise up, my love, come out of this morass. The word is spoken to mind and heart by one who obviously is not trapped in the bottomless pit. That one is present with each person. Over many, many years I’ve been associated with many, many people, you included, who have been filled with questions: Why? What? How? “There’s this thing in my life; you had better take a good look at this and tell me how it should be straightened out.” Nobody can tell you how it should be straightened out, because it doesn’t need to be straightened out. You need to be straightened out! You produced the trouble; accept that fact. Finally you may emerge, break surface into the state where there are no troubles of this nature. That’s where human minds and hearts belong. They don’t belong in this pit. No, we know the foolishness of all this. But we don’t always behave as though we knew the foolishness of it. That’s right too, isn’t it?
Rise up, my love, and come again to the Garden. It doesn’t say that the Garden was taken away; it merely says that human beings were put out of it, but it’s still here, still available. This search for knowledge is the veil, is that fellow who stands at the Gate of the Garden with the flaming sword. You can’t get by as long as you imagine that your knowledge is going to save you. It isn’t. It doesn’t ever! It ensures the passing of the human flesh.
This is My body through which I speak My word. My word has been spoken this morning by reason of this flesh body. This is My body, this is My blood; this is the way by which I may speak My word on earth, that My Garden may become known again to those who relinquish this useless search for more knowledge. There is the tree of knowledge. It was always there, but it was not fruit to be stolen and used for the supposed benefit of human beings. This is all that knowledge is considered to be useful for, isn’t it? to benefit me, to benefit the human race, to benefit everybody; everybody is going to be blessed. But all that has happened is that everybody has been cursed, based in this one thing: that life should become subject to the concepts and the ideas gleaned from the bottomless pit of knowledge by the human mind. Everybody has been tarred with the same brush.
So we rise up because love calls, and there is sufficient yieldedness of heart to rise up in response and to let go of that hard, harsh arrogance of the human mind which thinks it knows so much, when all its knowledge condemns mankind to oblivion. This is the fact. Rise up, my love, and come away. Let there be a generation of fine spiritual substance, that it may be drawn to focus to receive the focus of spirit, that that spirit moving through that focus point may flood the spiritual substance which has been drawn together. Behold, I make all things new by this, because all things, all structures, when filled with the fine substance of spirit, and therefore by spirit, reveal their true nature.
Firstly it happens in consciousness. That has been pretty rigid in most human beings but it is the area where there is the most potential of flexibility. Let it stir that first, so that human consciousness may come into alignment with the design of spirit which begins to flood the spiritual substance when it is present. Then it moves on out. All substance, whether of a physical nature or whether one might say of an organizational nature, is the way it is because of the nature of the pneumaplasm that is present in human beings, at least insofar as the area of human responsibility is concerned. Because that substance has not been available to spirit, then the forms are dead—they have a little temporary life, some of them.
So we share these moments, aware of the truth of the word of the One whose body this is: I am present. This is My body, not the body of anyone here. There have been those who have attempted to make this emerging body move in this direction or in that direction, do this or do that; it should be so-and-so, it shouldn't be something else. All this judgment has been spawned, which has simply interfered with the process—not stopped it, but interfered with it. Woe unto those who attempt to distract it or make it work according to some human view. Let it be exactly what it is in design, that it may be brought forth with beauty and wonder and power, that all structures everywhere may be changed in whatever way is necessary. There is no problem to that, no problem at all; only in the human mind which is struggling with these things, trying to make peace, trying to get rid of nuclear arms, trying to do this, trying to do that. All that is so useless.
Let the body come forth according to the true design;
and in the intensity of the outpouring of this spirit,
the speaking of the Word,
all things are made new.
Everything stands up according to the nature of what is present in the pneumaplasm.
Let that change and there’s no problem with respect to physical substance or organizational substance. It all must yield then, but not until the change is the fact in those who provide the flesh for this body. I rejoice that there are those who are willing that this should be so, to whatever extent that may be true at the moment. It might be said: This is my body; it’s all I’ve got! Speaking for this body, I rejoice that there is a quality of resiliency that is becoming more evident than it has been in times past. If there isn’t much resilience everything becomes such hard work, but when the resilience is there it’s easy and fun, enjoyable, fulfilling, just wonderful! So let us share in this wonder in heaven.
