Tradition  Transmuted

Martin Exeter   September 8, 1985

Here am I—send me to speak the Word of Truth, that that Word might be made flesh. That summarizes my purpose and commission. Each one of you, and all who have shared in the creative process by which this flesh has been drawn together by reason of the power of the Word of Truth to constitute a Spiritual Body on earth, can share with me the same statement of willingness: Here am I—send me to speak the Word of Truth for which I am responsible, that this Body may indeed be complete and available, with an open heart and mind, for the right use of the Supreme One. This commission is no less yours than it is mine. The Spirit of Truth has called it to your remembrance and is now calling it to your remembrance in this very moment. Here am I—send me into this Body, not to condemn it but to raise it up, to raise it up by the power of the spirit, that the Supreme One may have a Body through which to reveal the wonder, the beauty and the glory of Being on earth. All this is being called to remembrance by the Spirit of Truth.

There are many things in memory which must be forgotten. The forgetting process is the process of letting whatever is present in that memory be transmuted into the experience and expression of the Truth. Garbage is transmuted into a useful substance for the soil by very natural processes. We might call those processes miraculous, but they are also very natural. The truly natural is miraculous. This morning we were speaking about tradition. Tradition is to be transmuted, raised up into present experience. Some might say that, in utilizing a passage from the Old Testament, this was a very traditional thing to do. I am sure many sermons have been preached upon the verse which I read. How shall that tradition pass away, without letting the truth of it transmute the tradition into present living experience?

Here am I—send me. The Spirit of Truth calls to remembrance that statement of commission now accepted into the memory of human consciousness. The commission was accepted: we are here; but the fact of it has tended to be withheld and excluded from our own consciousness until the Spirit of Truth is permitted to call it to remembrance. It may be a somewhat faint memory to start with; it somehow rings a little bell in consciousness. But gradually, as we remain immersed in the heavenly atmosphere—because we eschew discord, for one thing—the memory becomes clearer, the Tone of the bell sounds loud and clear. Because that Tone sounds loud and clear the Word of Truth is known and spoken. Then because it is known and spoken the Word is made flesh. We have the evidence of that flesh in our own physical forms, and in our own experience of this spiritual body. Here is tradition being transmuted into present fact. As it is, there is no need for the tradition anymore; it is gone, because the Truth is here, known, and in expression. We all have the joyous privilege of sharing it.

We have been sent, certainly, not to condemn this Body which is taking form, nor to condemn the greater body of mankind which is included in our commission, but to raise it up. We have, in whatever measure, let our own flesh and consciousness be raised up to a certain level. We have proof of the effectiveness and the power of the Spirit of Truth in action. We have perhaps delayed the process by forgetting what we have been reminded of year after year: that we did not come on earth to condemn the body that should take form, but to raise it up. If we ourselves have been raised up to the extent that we have, then surely we should be most willing to let others be raised up also. We would never put a stumbling block which might prevent the process from working in others. We would not put a stumbling block to prevent the process from working in our own minds and hearts, through self-condemnation, but consciously, on earth, trust the creative power of the Spirit, which we were commissioned to bring, to do its work. Not by human efforts, not by anything that can be humanly devised, is this miraculous process brought to pass, but simply because there are those human hearts and minds, present in human form on earth, that are willing to let tradition pass because it is transmuted into present experience by the Spirit. Do we still have so much faith, humanly speaking, in the hopes and the efforts of human minds and hearts unaware of the Truth? Surely not. We have the commission, and the Spirit of Truth calls it to remembrance. It is being called to remembrance in the words that I am speaking now, called to remembrance in your consciousness and in my own. If I call it to remembrance in words, because of what it is that springs forth into expression in this moment, so also can you.

There is One Spirit—to be differentiated, it is true, but it all springs from that One Spirit—the focus of which is present because of this collective flesh Body which is taking form by reason of the Word. Indeed it is the Word made flesh, and it is adequate because of this, if the consciousnesses of those concerned are willing to let it be adequate. There has been a certain unwillingness in this regard, both with respect to the personal sense of inadequacy, which is there in human beings because the Truth has not been called to remembrance; and there is also the inadequacy that is supposed to exist in others, where one might say, “I cannot trust this Body because the members thereof are so inadequate.” That is a dangerous judgment to make, in the first place, “For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.” And we have considerable experience of this.

What is sown must be reaped, and when it is reaped let us not sow again the same tare seeds. What would the purpose be? Yet this is done continuously in human experience, but surely not in the experience of the consciousness of this Body. Undoubtedly there is some harvest around yet to be reaped by each of us individually and by all of us collectively. This is the traditional condition, humanly established, and so the traditions come home to roost. But we need not sow the same seeds which produced them in the first place, the seeds which were sown in separation from the Supreme One and from His Spirit.

We would sow these true seeds now, and always: no judgment—that clutters up the landscape. We are simply concerned with the Beauty of Truth, which allows for the experience of the Wonder of Love and the Glory of Life. Here am I—send me to reveal the unhindered Glory of Life. I no longer can allow my human consciousness to suppose that there is anything that can prevent it. Here am I—send me through this particular human form, through this particular mind and heart, to speak the Word of Truth, that the Word may be made flesh, the flesh of this Spiritual Body which has taken form and is continuing to take form in the midst of the flesh body of mankind.

The Father sent not his son through this Body into the world to condemn the world, but that the world, through this flesh Body, might be raised up, the body of mankind might be raised up. We see this happening. We may observe the changes that are being wrought in the consciousness of many people. There are many more perhaps in whom there is no great evidence of constructive change, but there is change nevertheless. Some are raised up, some go down, but all this comes to pass just to the extent that there is this core Body revealing the Word made flesh. We would never condemn this Body. If we condemn this Body we certainly condemn the world, because what happens in this Body is what happens in the world.

If the Word is truly allowed to be made flesh—because we don’t buck it, we don’t object to it, we don’t judge it, we don’t condemn it, we let it be—then condemnation is not offered to the world, but the power of salvation, that all the traditions of men may be transmuted into the experience of the Word made flesh. This is the trust that we hold in our hands. Our concern as angels on earth is to let this Body of flesh be raised up. Our concern is with this Body. It is of supreme importance to us. We are concerned constantly with the welfare of this Body, to bless it—certainly not to curse it by our condemnation in judgment but to bless it with our Spirit, which we bring individually through our flesh bodies, minds and hearts, into every momentary experience. Here we are, awakened in consciousness to do this. Here we are again on earth—aware.

The Beauty of Truth is received into the expression of heart and mind in each moment of living, that this Body may prosper, that this body may be charged with the expression of our individual differentiation of this One Spirit constantly. Certainly we would never allow our hearts and minds to become parasitic, sucking the life-blood out of this Body, which is done when we forget why it is we are here—and we forget that because we deny the Spirit of Truth. Let us never deny or betray the Spirit of Truth. Betrayal is fatal. Denial may have a second chance, even a third and a fourth until seventy times seven, but don’t trade on that! for somewhere along the way the books are closed—that’s it. We would that when that happens we ourselves might be assured that we have fulfilled our task, that we did not fail.

So I am thankful that we are able, in our earthly hearts and minds, to comprehend what it is that has taken form in words this evening, and so be reminded of the Truth, of the Angelic Commission which is the fact for each one, however much or however little that may have been as yet the experienced fact. We rejoice as angels to abide in heaven and to conduct ourselves fittingly through the equipment that is available to us in the fulfillment of the commission and the purpose for which we are present in human form.

Unification Through Focalization

Unification  Through  Focalization

Martin Cecil   January 15, 1978

There is one most vital factor, central factor, making possible the restoration of human beings to the true state of man. I am sure that you are all aware of what that is. It is a Focal Point of Orientation, true spiritual orientation, for mankind. Without that there is nothing. Is this not focalizationWe noted how resistant the attitude tends to be toward focalization, or the idea of it in human minds. There is a desire for unity, in the consciousness of human beings in general. How can a nation be unified? How can the nations be unified? There is an organization entitled The United Nations, but where are the united nations? There is no such state of affairs. Human beings with common sense would realize that unless the group, the nation, the nations of the world, all people, have a commonly accepted point of orientation there is no possibility of unification, and yet that seems to most to be impossible of achievement. Where could there be found a suitable point of orientation that would be acceptable to everybody?

There are many points of orientation in the world, various types of leadership: political, religious, scientific, social, what have you. Those who provide leadership in this regard are particularly anxious to promote their own ideologies. You can find many examples, particularly in the political field, but it works in other fields too. One must at least color the truth in order to sell the package. Usually of course downright lies are included. There are those who feel that they will be benefited by accepting a particular ideology; there are others who think they won't, so these others will resist and there will consequently be a clash. For any particular pattern of ideology that you may find there is always a contrary one. Obviously, then, everybody is not going to swallow the same bait, but human beings generally speaking are quite anxious to swallow some sort of bait. How could there possibly be any unification as long as there is conflict? And yet how earnestly people work toward trying to produce unity. There is only one way. There must be a commonly accepted point of orientation, but that point of orientation must be the true one.

Most people might say, “Well what would that be?” Those who are religiously inclined might say, “Well it would be God.” But that means different things to different people; they have their religious ideologies which are in conflict with each other. Everybody is supposed to be accepting God in that field. Why the conflict then? We recognize that they are not accepting God. They are accepting their views with respect to God, and most people feel that their beliefs in this regard, their tenets of faith, are more precious than almost anything, certainly more precious than the truth. Nevertheless there is only one way by which the unified state of man may be restored, and that is because there is a true point of orientation.

Such points of orientation have been available to mankind on a number of occasions in the past. In more recent history we may recognize the One called Jesus as having brought this point of orientation to the children of men. The orientation relates to spirit, the creative spirit of God, the spirit of the living Christ. In this instance of incarnation it may be said that it was His spirit providing the actual focus insofar as this world is concerned. When He came on earth and His facilities of expression were willing to allow His expression to appear, He provided a focus point for the one spirit which any others would necessarily have to do in representation only, because it was His spirit—He was the focus of it. He brought it into the world, revealed the quality and nature of it, and was very shortly rejected. We have recognized this and we see that He came and did whatever was possible to do, so there is no point in Him coming again. But there still is the necessity of providing the essential point of orientation which He Himself offered when He was here. He is not going to offer that again on earth and be rejected again—I am sure none of us would wish it so—but we recognize that we may have some responsibility in this matter ourselves.

In order for this point of orientation to be present, a reality in manifestation, someone must make evident that same spirit. When He Himself was on earth He found scarcely anyone who would stay with Him in an understanding way while He carried through in what then had to be done. We are aware of one of the disciples in the person of John, and some of the women. Because He was rejected it seemed likely that John would be rejected but not in quite the same way; and this is what happened. Because of these rejections, while the door was opened by the Master there were many other factors in the larger sphere of things which had to work out to a point where a specific refocalization could occur.

In every generation there has been present one who provided a point of orientation.

However this point of orientation could not offer what was necessary for the restoration to take place. For the most part whoever it was remained unrecognized—unrecognized even by the human consciousness of that particular one. Obviously something was provided which maintained a continuity down through the generations but it was only when all things came together again in the larger field that there could be initiated a refocalization of this same spirit to make possible the creative cycle of restoration. This occurred, as we recognize, in the person of Uranda, who offered a point of orientation of that one spirit for the children of men. The creative cycle then, being initiated, would be provided with what was necessary for its continued unfoldment.

In more recent years I have had the responsibility of providing a representative point of focus for that same spirit. However what is necessary in this creative cycle requires much more, obviously, than one person. That one person may provide a point of orientation for others, and presumably this is what has happened. So in varying degrees there are a number of other people who have accepted the point of orientation of this spirit. However the whole point is not exactly that. It is the acceptance of the spirit which is present at the point of orientation, so that that spirit may be experienced by others. This has been described as the holy spirit coming upon you—coming forth through your human consciousness. This makes possible an expanded, differentiated focus of spirit, the same spirit but made evident through many who have the experience of being a part of the One. On this basis the world is provided with its point of orientation. The point of orientation is, and always was, the spirit of God. That spirit finds expression through individual human beings, through their consciousness, and thereby the point of focalized orientation is expanded—it comes closer to people.

If it were just a matter of one person he would very shortly become somewhat remote. He would very shortly become an object of imagination. Because the One who incarnated as Jesus has become very remote, at the same time He became an object of imagination. So the essential factor for the restoration to occur is a point of orientation for the whole of mankind. This point of orientation includes many individual emissaries. Here is provided what is necessary for the unification of the body of mankind. The unification takes place on the basis of those who willingly orient to this point. Because a focalization of spirit is being provided there will be the impact of that spirit in the consciousness of mankind. Those who compose mankind will be affected by the impact of spirit. Some will yield in response; some will resist; and others, for the moment, may be indifferent. It is getting more difficult in the world to remain indifferent. So there is something happening here which is providing the basis for the unification of mankind; but not all those who presently are part of mankind will necessarily experience the unification.

In any creative cycle there is both integration and disintegration. But everything that is to occur in this creative way is simply consequent upon the fact that there is present on earth this essential focus of orientation. You amongst others are responsible for maintaining this. In view of the fact that the only way by which the unification of mankind can occur is as there is such a focus of orientation, then it may be seen that focalization is the key. It is the key insofar as mankind is concerned, but there is no focus of orientation unless that key is operative in that focus of orientation. If there is a rejection of focalization within the body of those who are charged with providing that focus of orientation, then that is the impulse that is released with respect to others: reject focalization. Well of course that would not be providing a true point of orientation, would it? The point of orientation comes because there is a recognition of the essential requirement of focalization. Without it, there is nothing to provide the means by which the consciousness of mankind could be unified. There must be a point of orientation which is accepted.

Presumably most of those who are associated with this ministry have accepted me as representing that point of orientation, but it isn't an acceptance of me as a person; it's an acceptance of the spirit which I represent. If I represent it truly then it's a fact that you can't separate me from that spirit; but it is always the spirit that is of vital importance. The spirit is revealed through form and that is the only valuable form. So there is the necessity of this acceptance of focalization, not just from the standpoint of me as one person but from the standpoint of what develops through all those who are participating in providing the focus of orientation. In order to permit the development of such a focalization, expanded and differentiated, there must be ways and means of bringing spirit to focus, close to those concerned. There are those who do this close to you and you bring it to focus for others with whom there is a certain closeness also.

Here we see how the differentiated focus of orientation for mankind expands into the consciousness of mankind. There must be representation of spirit at every level for every aspect that properly is present in the body of mankind. This requires a number of people. I'm not at the moment suggesting the actual number of people required. Some have the concept of one hundred and forty-four thousand, but even that might mean something not quite the way it is seen by the human intellect. However, the spirit needs to be differentiated in expanding expression for there to be an adequate focus of orientation for mankind. You amongst others are responsible for this.

I emphasize this matter of focalization because it is the core of everything.

It is also true that there are other aspects of rejection which are present in the ego consciousness of human beings and these need to be handled correctly too, but the first order of business is to handle correctly association with various points of focalization. If one does not handle correctly one's relationship with points of focalization with whom one is associated closely one will not be able to handle one's own focus of orientation for others. If there is rejection of focalization because it doesn't conform with one's own view of the way it should be, it doesn't satisfy one's own state of awareness, one will be encouraging those who otherwise might be yielding in response to focalization to question this necessity.

It is when a person becomes conscious of focalization that the rejection process tends to begin. As long as a person is not conscious of the necessity of focalization he is inclined to go along. We may be very thankful that the vast majority of people who are beginning to yield in response know very little about focalization. They do not yet see, insofar as the majority is concerned, what the point of focus is, where the point of orientation is. We may be thankful that it is so, because as soon as they begin to become conscious of what it is and where it is then they proceed to reject it. They proceed to reject it and are encouraged in this procedure if there are those who should be sharing in this point of expanded orientation who are yet resisting focalization.

I'm sure you can see that if this point of focalization is to have the power to stand regardless of what comes, there must be unification. We are able to stand when we are united, but we are only united on the basis of the pattern of focalization, and it doesn't matter what anyone thinks about it, whether they like it or not—it makes no difference. We need to learn to handle the situation exactly the way it is. As we do this delightedly then the unification may occur. We don't make it occur. The unification occurs by reason of the working of spirit, because the spirit is unified; and if we are oriented in the spirit the way it works—not the way we'd like it to work or the way we think it ought to work or the way that would be most pleasing to us, but in the way that it is actually working—then we experience the reality of unification brought about by the working of the spirit.

When the Master Himself was on earth He spoke of His gospel, the gospel of the kingdom: “The kingdom of heaven is at hand.” What was He saying here? Well first of all presumably there is a King in the Kingdom; otherwise there wouldn't be a Kingdom—in other words the point of focus, the point of orientation, is there. But the authority and the rulership of such a King could not be solely handled by Him. What the Master was saying was that control is at hand. Control—and the control becomes apparent on the basis of focalization. It isn't an imposed control; it's a control that's delightedly accepted. If it isn't that, then the experience of what is referred to as the Kingdom of Heaven will not be known.

We accept the point of orientation in one spirit, so that this one spirit becomes one's own and informs everything which finds expression in one's living. When it does that you will handle every situation that arises in that one spirit. You won't require the situation to be some certain way. You'll simply handle it the way it is but in that one spirit. As we all begin to learn to do this we stop judging each other, we stop trying to make each other conform to some human concept; we allow things to be the way they are, bringing to bear this creative expression of spirit into that situation. On this basis there begins to be unification of the focalized point of orientation for the body of mankind, and when there is unification in that focus of orientation there will be the influence of unification beyond—but if it isn't present within, it won't be beyond.

So I call this to your remembrance. Let us acknowledge the necessity for this expanded, differentiated focus to provide orientation for the consciousness of mankind, but we need to be very sure that it is a point of true orientation. It will only be that to the extent that we are a part of this whole, because we have learned to function in relationship to the facts as they are present in this whole. The situation with which we are faced is the only one we have, and it didn't appear by chance. It's there for a reason. The reason is mostly that you should learn to handle it wisely. Did you ever find situations repeating themselves in your experience? Why? Well, you maybe didn't handle it wisely the first time.

Let us acknowledge the reason why we are here: to represent this one spirit and thereby provide a point of firm, strong orientation on earth to which all people may look. All people may not look, but unless the point of orientation is there, there would be nothing for anyone. So we are here to provide this, to keep it fresh, new and strong, by reason of our own constant behavior, the evidence of our ability to be emissaries of the Word, carrying the spirit of truth into the world. This is our responsibility and the responsibility of many more than those who are here present this evening. Let us share all together in this essential factor in manifestation on earth.

Motherland Tongue And Chant

Motherland  Tongue  And  Chant

YouTube Audio

Uranda   June 1953  Class

I'd like to sound the vowels On Tone in conjunction with the processes of radiation in the vibratory sense, utilizing words that are really adapting of the Motherland Tongue. We do not have the right vibratory field as yet to permit the use of the Motherland Tongue’s pure or complete expression, but we do have enough of a vibratory field to use some adaptions, some of the principles involved. If I undertake to utilize a little of this principle this morning for you, it's not so much to cause you to be concerned about the words that are used or the combinations of sound, as it is to emphasize the importance of tonal quality. You may notice that I am inclined to disregard some of what I conceive to be limitations of the musical scale as ordinarily used. And so, if some of you imagine that it should be exactly on some note or other instead of where it is, please don't lose the blessing that is possible to you, because I don’t use that scale as it is ordinarily used. I use a different principle—the same basic principle but it manifests a different principle of application.

My primary concern is to help you realize in our special exercise—not that you'll be attempting to do it—the factors that can actually, even in its present limited level of consciousness and vibratory perception, it can actually be conveyed. It is still more limited in the realm of ordinary speaking, it's true, and we experience something of this in true singing. I’m not suggesting that I’m going to sing. It isn’t in the ordinary sense, singing. But it is expression On Tone in the sense of Vibratory Radiation. Its primary purpose is that radiation, so that you can have an opportunity to practice letting go to the currents that are in radiation with the help of auditory perception. Now it’s one thing for us to have the currents working just silently without anything to particularly center your attention. Your minds, if I were to stand here and work in the current of radiation without making any sound, without doing anything, your minds would tend to get involved in your own thought processes. A thousand and one things might tend to intrude upon your consciousness, or you might let your mind slip over to, well, wherever minds slip to.

One of the basic things that we are here to learn is to get your scattered pieces back together. How often do you find yourself in a position where your body is in one place, your heart is in another place, and your mind is still in another place? If you had more parts you’d be more widely scattered. The principle of getting body and mind and heart together, in one place, in agreement, in alignment, is of vital importance. You cannot have your body in one place, and your mind in another, and your heart in another, and be a complete human being. You will find that you do not have to scatter yourself in order to include all that belongs to your vibratory pattern. I’ll just touch on this point briefly, at the moment, to help you have a clear realization of the principle, but I cannot expect you to understand the deeper aspects of it until you have made a considerable degree of progress from the point where you are.

If you remember the illustration I gave the other day with respect to the tent, and you in the tent. If you are there, that means the whole soul is there—your body, your mind, your heart—you. It doesn't mean that your heart is going on a trip to Timbuktu, or that your mind is playing around in Shanghai, China, and your body just happens to be geographically on Sunrise Ranch. We are undertaking to produce a situation wherein you, the whole you, are at one point, at one time. Now, how much of the time of your existence do you suppose you have that actual state?—precious little, actually, if you stop to think about it—the whole you at any one point at one time. It doesn't tend to be so. Why do people undertake to drown their sorrows with liquors that destroy spiritual sensitivity? Because they are not whole persons—part of them got away somewhere, stuck over yonder. They don't know where, and they undertake to drink something that will give them a few moments of peace. It's gold brick peace made out of lead; it's no good. But the point is that these patterns of insecurity and uncertainty which beset the world, and which destroy so much potentiality of happiness and success, derive from a state of scattered personality. The scattered soul is an ineffectual soul. Remember that! When you are dealing with others in helping them along the way, you may not mention this particular point right to start with, but you must somehow begin to inspire human beings to come to point in relationship to themselves, their scattered soul, their ineffectual soul. Their bodies are ill, their minds are in turmoil, their hearts are places of discord and conflict and uncertainly—insecurity. You cannot be of any real service to anyone until you begin to deliberately—and with understanding, with wisdom, having the sense of the fitness of things—to deliberately begin to inspire the individual to become a whole person in the sense of his own factors. You cannot cause a body as such to become whole, that is, in a true sense of healing, while the individual himself is so out of alignment that his mind is in one place, where it's flitting hither and yon, his heart is in another place, and his body just happens to be where it's plunked down.

We need to be whole in the sense of our parts before our parts can be whole in the sense of the entire being. So, bringing you into alignment is of vital importance. The process by which we attain the state of the single eye is involved in this. If mind and heart are just a little out of alignment you will not have a clear focus. A little out of alignment and you can't see with the eye that is more important than your physical eye. And have you any more priceless possessions in the physical sense than the physical eye? They are priceless. All right. That single eye is still more important—but while your eye is double your whole body is full of darkness. Why? Because there is no way for the light to get in, no way for you to see. So, with mind and heart out of alignment you need to realize that you cannot see. If you do see it will be with a blur and things will not look right. So there must be alignment—there must be alignment of the eye, so that the eye of the heart and the eye of the mind are one and the same. And then it's a comparatively simple process to continue on until your physical seeing, your mental seeing, and your heart seeing are all one. And while this process is going on, there is an inner hearing, not in the sense of hearing physical sound, but an inner perception of hearing which begins to come into alignment so that you can more readily perceive. So we are going through a process of bringing you together into one thing so that you may be a whole soul, without your parts being scattered about willy-nilly. And, in this you are learning how to let your mind come under control. As I started to point out a little while ago, if I were to stand here and undertake to give radiation without any sound, any action, it’s questionable as to how many of you would actually perceive it, or if you perceived it, how well you would receive it, how well you would let yourself come to point, how soon your minds would waver and go flitting where minds flit to.

So we must use some kind of a device to establish vibratory focalization. The device I use is primarily with respect to the sound of my voice, when I'm talking to you. Sometimes, I use a gesture or two, something to add to the perception through the eye, but at this moment we have to depend primarily upon hearing. Once you begin to let yourself come to point and learn to relax at point, you are in a process of coming into attunement within yourself—that is, coming together. Gradually your heart is drawn into position, gradually your mind is caused to be still, to relax into its proper position, in you, so that you begin to be a being. And then, you begin to be more effective. Then the healing power, the working power of God, can begin to manifest through you. But if your parts are not in alignment you are not a channel in a real sense. If your parts are not in alignment you are not in a real sense a channel.

And so we get back to this point of expression On Tone. Do not try to understand with the mind. If understanding is to come it must not be by intellectual means in this; it must be by means of the heart—being and relaxing into it. I don't think there is any reason for anyone to fear it, hesitate, just to relax into it. And if it be unfamiliar in some of its factors don't try to figure it outwhat difference does it make? We can begin to establish a vibratory current through which your own instrument of being can be more readily brought into alignment and into attunement; and you will have emphasized for you, at the same time, the vital importance of the vowels from the standpoint of that which you would convey.

It might be that you could enjoy it more fully if you would close your eyes. If not, you may watch but whichever is most natural to you. [Uranda chants in an adaptation of the Motherland Tongue, and then chants these words in English.]

There is a Land of the Living, a land, a Land of the Living

O come, O come and dwell

O come and dwell, in the Land of the Living

O come and serve, O come and serve, the God of the Living

the God of the Living

There is a Land of Light, there is a Land of Light

O come and dwell in the Land of the Light

O come, O come, O come

And as you begin to feel something of that which can be conveyed through radiation On Tone, you can begin to recognize the healing qualities. It is not something that we can use regularly—in fact, as a Class, this is the first time you have heard me touch upon this point. But I wish for you to begin to understand why the vowels are so important in relationship to the reality of radiation, and how you can begin—as you learn how to express in the current of the Spirit—begin to let the tensions relax, begin to establish a sense of being enfolded in the Cloud of Peace, begin to establish a realization that you are not separate and apart—that is, establish that realization in each hearer—and you begin to know that there is a power which is well able to produce the adjustments in your body, in your mind and heart, which may be necessary to the achievement of your Divine Purpose on earth.

We begin to realize that only as we let ourselves come into agreement, the different parts of you into agreement in relationship to your own Being, you in agreement with your higher point of Focalization, so that you can inspire someone else to come into agreement with you, only so do you begin to be an integral part of the Whole, a cell in the manifest Body of God where you become a living soul and not, as so many in the world are, a dying soul—and you become a living soul. And through you, the reality of life is extended to others so that the promise of life upon your lips is not a vain thing, so that the power of God flowing through you can achieve that which is necessary from the pattern of your service, if there is the response thereto. But response to God and the things of God makes possible the manifestation. Without response the things of God cannot appear; through response they do appear. Shall we share the Victory and truly serve our Lord and King? That is our purpose here. Class dismissed.
