By Thy Words—Armageddon

Anniversary Meditation

The Master said: “By thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.” It is exceedingly needful that each one should be very careful, in his or her expression, to keep centered, so that the words that are spoken are constructive, are of the Spirit of the Living Christ, and not prompted by some evil spirit. In this connection I would make mention of the importance of responding in point. When the mind is so full of its own questioning, so full of its own ideas and concepts, that it does not give adequate consideration to that which is presented in focalization, but spends its time wondering about this or that, questioning about things that are yet beyond, the individual loses something of the blessing that is offered. So often people resist receiving the blessings that they claim to be praying for. Responding in point to that which is presented, in your own mind and heart, is vitally important. Concerning that which is yet to be, that which is as yet un-manifest, the mind cannot have adequate comprehension.

“Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love and serve Him.” Questioning, wondering, about that which is yet to be, how things are going to be, is eating of the forbidden fruit. There may be, in one sense, legitimate questions which will in season be answered, but if one wonders about them and goes in circles around them, he is revolving around a question and not around the truth—and that which shall be will be revealed in season. True trust lets the individual relax into that which is revealed in this present moment, this present point, that which is now focalized, that which is now manifest, so that each one is responding in point, and letting it work out.

Concerning all of this, I would make brief mention of the fact that the Battle of Armageddon has begun. [greatcosmicstory.blogspot.com/2017/01/from-life-uranda-june-3-1953-class-we.html] Generally speaking, those who have interpreted the meanings contained in the Bible think of it as some great war or conflict. Some thought the last war was going to be Armageddon; some expect some great war in the future to be Armageddon—but Armageddon is the contest between Michael and his Angels, and the forces of darkness, those who are dedicated to evil. That is the Battle of Armageddon, and it has begun. Now, the beginning has been comparatively slight. So far, you may say there have only been about two skirmishes that amounted to very much. God has no pleasure in the death of them that die. But when the contest comes to point there is never any question about which side is going to win—never the slightest question. It is not for you to fight the Battle of Armageddon, actually. There may be war in Heaven in you until the dragon is cast out completely, but that is not Armageddon. It is not for you to fight the Battle of Armageddon, actually, except as you stay centered in your places and function correctly; and I will deal with this subject more at another time. My concern for the moment is that none of you should ever, under any circumstance, be hurt. When and as any attack comes, it is met—that is all. We do not seek conflict.

In this connection I might read a few verses from the eleventh chapter of Revelation: “And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth. These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth. And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed. These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.”

Now, do not try to understand that. There is much in it that is not for your immediate comprehension, but in season. I have read these words, only that you may have a deeper recognition and realization of the seriousness of that in which we are engaged. Whenever there is a vibration of destruction expressed and maintained, that has as its purpose, the destruction of the Lord's Service in the earth, if there be a refusal to relinquish the position, the time comes when it has to be met, not by you but by the Lord, although in various ways you may have some part in it. When such things are met they are met in the Fire of the Christ Love. The same Current, the same Vibration, that brings healing, that transforms, that uplifts the Responding One, the same Power that cleanses you of that which does not belong to you, casts out the unreal and cleanses away that which has no place in Reality. It is the same Love, the same Truth, and it is no respecter of persons.

My point is that if you are not involved yourselves—any one of you—in any such thing, then the cleansing will not hurt you; but if any should be involved, sooner or later the cleansing will come, one way or another. I have not said these things to start a lot of speculation in your minds, but only to emphasize the necessity of giving heed, and of responding in point, so that your attention is not scattered somewhere other than where it belongs. All legitimate questions will be answered in season, but not necessarily the season of your making. These are things I do not like to have to talk about very much—the less the better—and they are things that you are not supposed to talk about among yourselves, even, let alone somewhere else. If you say the wrong thing to someone else, something that is not understood, that creates a wrong impression and starts wrong reactions, you will be responsible.

“By thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.”

“God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life,” and the word is: “I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth”—but it is also true: “No man (or woman) can fight against God, and live.”

“Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.” I have considered these wonderful words of the Master with you many times, but tonight a new opportunity is given for a deeper understanding. “Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.” What are you seeing day by day? The individual who is forever seeing all sorts of ill things, things to criticize, things to condemn, things to complain about, things to find fault about—is such an one seeing God?

He who is seeing God sees that which is beautiful, that which is wonderful beyond words to describe, that which is glorious, that which is lovely because it is an expression of love, that which carries the Spirit of Peace. He is seeing the assurance of Victory. He is feeling the confidence that springs from the working of God's Power; for no one can see God and not have His Power working through himself.

It is written: “No man shall see God and live.” That is true, but those who let themselves be Reborn, those who share in the Adoption, those who go through the Resurrection, are not mere human beings—they are living souls, and the living soul can see God and Live. God, in His mercy, does not reveal Himself to those who have not yet established their choice. Those who let themselves become pure in heart, so that they are living souls, begin to see God, and those who are called before the judgment bar to a day of accounting likewise see God—and the results are very different. God, in His mercy, does not reveal Himself to those who are not yet ready to see and live, unless they, by their evil actions, force the coming of the day of judgment for themselves.

“Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God,” and rejoice and live, for they are Living Souls, not dead souls. A dead soul cannot see God, without being annihilated. You remember the word in the Shepherd’s Psalm: “He restoreth my soul.” He who has had his soul restored, so that he has become a living soul, begins to truly Know God. It is written: “Be still, and know that I AM God,” but before that knowing can come, the mind must be still, and the heart likewise must be still of all turmoil, a Holy Sanctuary to the Spirit of the Living God.

“Be still, and know that I AM God.” God is revealed to the pure in heart who become still. As long as there is emotional upheaval and turmoil in the heart, it is not pure. As long as the mind is revolving in circles around questions which it cannot understand, it is not still; and until the mind is still it cannot begin to know what it needs to know, that is beyond the knowing of the human mind alone.

There is much that the human mind, of itself, cannot begin to comprehend; and if the human mind is filled with questioning about what it cannot understand, it is not still enough to begin to know God. If you do not understand what has been presented to you, how can you hope to understand by questioning in your own minds, or one to another, that which has not been presented to you? Are you wiser than the Lord, that you should determine what should be presented, and when? No. Giving heed to that which is presented, so that that is understood, opens the way for understanding that which is yet to be presented—and how many times that which has been presented has had to be expressed again and yet again because it was not understood by minds that were wondering about things that had not been presented!

“Be still.” [greatcosmicstory.blogspot.com/2020/08/to-be-still-enough-long-enough.html] The storms of mental and emotional turmoil, upheaval, questioning, rebellion, must all be stilled before the individual can begin to know God. When the stillness comes, it is because the cleansing, the purification, has let the Spirit of the Living Christ enter in, so that the Banner of Peace is unfurled in heart and mind—and then the Prince of Peace rules Supreme.

“Blessed are the pure in heart; for they shall see God.” By implication, then, the Master was saying: “Those who are not seeing God, those who are seeing either evil or what they think is evil, those who are concerned about evil, real or imaginary, are impure in heart. Those who think they see impurities, who are always seeing impurities in others, reveal themselves to be impure. It is the Cosmic fact, whether you like to face it or not. God is not respecter of persons. Those who have filthy hearts reveal it by their words; for “Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh,” and when, because of their filthy hearts, they speak words claiming to see impurities in others about which they are concerned and which bother them and upset them, they are thereby revealing the state of their own hearts. The pure in heart see that which is lovely and beautiful and real in those around them. The pure in heart are not imputing impurity to others. They may see that others have yet a way to go before they find fulfilment, but the pure in heart who are seeing God do not give power in their own minds and hearts to that which is evil. They are not afraid of the so-called power of evil; they are not subject to it; they have no reason to be disturbed by it. As long as the individual sees, or thinks that he sees, evil in others, and is disturbed by that evil, he is proving by his attitude that he has an impure heart—and it is true, whether you like to face it or not.

“Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.” That is the Word of our LORD and Master, and it is so very true. While I was away I had occasion to mention to someone that when the individual has come clean of all the filthy rags of the old world, and comes into the Kingdom, I do not have to get acquainted with that individual; for that which comes into the Kingdom is that which I was seeing all the time. It is that with which I was working; it is that which I beheld as worth saving; and this one to whom I spoke answered: “Yes, you pay us the supreme compliment of seeing us as we are in reality.” If I were seeing you as some have thought you to be, or as you have been in your own eyes, I would have to get acquainted with you after you got into the Kingdom; but when you enter the Kingdom I do not have to become acquainted with you. I know you already as you are. That is what I have been seeing all the time. If I were looking for evil in you, do you suppose I could find it?—even now, as pure as you are? Or as nearly pure, perhaps I should say? How often have you heard me talking about the evil in you, in the sense that you have perhaps heard your neighbor talk about the evil in various ones?—whether real or imagined is beside the point. He who is seeing evil in his neighbor, whether it be real or imaginary, is not letting the Spirit of the Living Christ have true meaning. I do not mean that I cannot see the evil, or that I will not deal with it on occasion when I am forced to do so. But, left to my own, allowed to choose, have I given you the impression that I like to talk about the evil that I find in people? I do not think there is one that could answer, “Yes.” Then, it must be admitted that I have set an example in this matter. If I had not been seeing that which was Divine in you, do you think I would be interested in having you here? No. I have seen something in you of God, or I would not have welcomed you to Eden Valley; and when you shall come into the Kingdom I shall not be under any necessity of becoming acquainted with you there.

Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.”

Be still, and know that I AM God.”

“Out of the abundance of the mouth the heart speaketh.” That which is evil must be cleansed away. Concerning the Kingdom, it is written: “And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, or maketh a lie.” The unclean spirits shall be cast out; the heart must be cleansed and purified; and the pure in heart see God. As the heart is purified, the individual begins more and more to see God.

If the skies look dark and dreary, if the green of the grass and the trees be dull, if there seems to be no occasion for joy in life, then it is evident that such an one is not seeing God. As the purification process begins, the beauties of nature become more vividly real, the green of the grass and the trees appears, step by step, to be more vividly alive. The beauty of the sky is increased to the vision, not in fact. Gradually, as the heart is purified, the beauty of all things begins to be evident to the one who sees, and as the heart is purified still further, that is to say when the heart becomes pure, the individual is not limited merely to the beauties in nature, the glory of the sunrise or sunset, the beauty of the rainbow of promise—then such an one sees God. Those who have become so purified that they may stand in God's Presence made manifest and not be burned in the Fire, have the privilege of standing in the Presence of God and knowing it. They who are yet impure are in the Presence of God in any case, but they do not know it, and they do not see God; therefore, God in His Mercy can give them a little more time, a little more opportunity—but human beings who presume upon God's Mercy and who, in their hearts, scoff and say, “The Lord delayeth his coming,” shall find truly that, “God is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is long-suffering to us-ward, not willing than any should perish.”

“Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.” If you do not like what you have been seeing, if you have been seeing things that disturb, if you have been seeing things that you think are impure, if you have been seeing that which you deem to be evil, look to your own heart; for it makes no difference whether you have imagined the evil or if it actually is; if it disturbs you, it proves that your own heart is evil, because the pure in heart are not disturbed by evil. Evil has no power over those who are pure in heart. Those who are pure in heart are not afraid of evil, or the power of evil; for in the pure in heart perfect love has cast out all fear, and those who are pure in heart and have seen God do not distrust God, for they know God, and in them there is perfect trust. The pure in heart are welcomed into the Kingdom of God; for God cannot be seen until you have entered the Kingdom. “Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall enter the Kingdom and see God,” the Kingdom of Heaven that is at hand here on earth, that can be entered any day in the year, any moment in any day—for it is at hand. Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall enter the Kingdom of Heaven that is at hand here on earth, and, having come into the Kingdom that is at hand, they shall see God.

The written word carries the record of that which our Master spoke to those who responded to the Word of Truth that makes them free, to those who have let go in the Fire of Love, so that they are cleansed and purified: “Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you,” and he who is clean has a pure heart, and he shall enter the Kingdom of Heaven that is at hand here on earth, and, having entered the Kingdom, he shall see God. “Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”

Who shall ascend unto the hill of the Lord? or who shall stand in his holy place?

He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart.”

Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.”

Our gracious and loving Heavenly Father, we thank Thee that it is so. We thank Thee that the Door is opened and that no man can shut it, that the Decree is established and no man can change it; and we thank Thee that increasingly Thy Will is being done on earth as it is in Heaven, and that it shall be so, until the whole earth is covered with Thy Glory, as the waters cover the sea. Beloved LORD and KING, I thank Thee for those who are letting their hearts be purified, that according to Thy Word they may enter into Thy Kingdom here on earth and begin to see God; for IN the Christ it is established, and shall be accomplished; for Thine is the Kingdom and the Power and the Glory forever. Aum-en.

Uranda said "because the pure in heart are not disturbed by evil. Evil has no power over those who are pure in heart."
This sentence is powerful medicine to the magnified evil at this time in history.
I notice that those who discuss this evil on earth are not happy people. They seem to need constant stimulation through ongoing discussions about said affairs of evil on earth. This gives evil a power it does not deserve and it make others believe in it. Our words are made flesh. Let us choose carefully what we say!

"The storms of mental and emotional turmoil, upheaval, questioning, rebellion, must all be stilled before the individual can begin to know God. "When the stillness comes, it is because the cleansing, the purification, has let the Spirit of the Living Christ enter in, so that the Banner of Peace is unfurled in heart and mind—and then the Prince of Peace rules Supreme."
The discipline of stillness involves many strengths in a human mind. It is a deliberate practice that must be used to reestablish right use of the mind.

How can I be assured that peace reigns in my experience? First, I must open to a vision larger than my own and then I must speak it so I can live it. Reading Uranda's and Martin's words only begins the process. These words must wash over me, enter into me and become my reality.
There must be some on earth that never abandon their still mind and peaceful heart. That and that alone brings heaven to earth. Having this experience brings power and assurance into my life. It builds a base of trust in the process of restoration. As this is present, the work required to calm the 'troubled waters' of my heart and mind is quickly executed and peace reigns. It takes a strong, pure mind to live that on earth now becuase it is a rare reality.
It is not my place to decide when that time is for another. Life takes care of that. It is not my place to decide what should be present in me that needs cleansing. Life will take care of that.
My power on earth comes forth silently as I "give up all my excellent ideas."

What a perfect design we are involved in. As we give full credence to God's power and let that power to cleanse our own state, the world can begin to breathe again. Appropriate, useful movement begins again.
In these days of unrest at every human level, God's power can be known. We all know that this is our job. Let us join together in a peaceful oversight that changes everything.
Within the presence of conscious peace, the way opens for the unconscious elements to be gloriously quiet. In that stillness, a deep sigh of relief is heard and our world begins to rest again. Imagine God's delight when that happens!
Let us come home again and go more forth!
Thank you for the place to write these words.
