The One Great Intercessor
from Focalization Of Creative Cycles

It’s good to gather again with one accord in one place to focalize in the doing of the Father’s Will on earth. Have you noticed that, day by day, in our function, we have more and more been carrying out the process of creative cycles? We go out on a pulsation at the close of the Service to accomplish various things in the Service of the LORD, and then coming in to a focalization again, carrying these vibrations into an intensity on one point, shall we say; then pulsating out again, back and forth, in the very thing that is working out with respect to the larger cycle of the Service as a whole. In this period of transition from one twenty-two-year period, or cycle, to the next, we have the focalization in, to the point of intensity, to be followed by the expansion outward, to enfold and bring in.
That pulsating expression of the Service is carried on continually within the scope of larger pulsations—for instance, a twenty-two-year cycle in its pulsations appears to the outer mind, at the moment, to be a slow coming in to a point, and then a very slow expansion outward, and then coming in. But inside of that there are lesser cycles working the same way. And here we have been carrying from two to three cycles every day, pulsating in to the point of focalizing it, pulsating out to function where we are individually, then coming together again to accomplish. These are creative cycles, and the way you have been carrying through this period of the cycle has been definitely improving. You have been letting that outward pulsation take place, accomplishing that to which you were called, and coming together again without losing the Current, as you used to. That is not to say that you are doing it to perfection yet, but it has very markedly improved, and I express my praise and thanksgiving to the LORD that it is so.
I am constrained this afternoon to point out to you the absolute nature of the operation of the One Law. I am asking you, as My Body, to consider something with me that we may, to the highest possible degree, render a service, and unless we can look at facts and see things as they are, regardless of how we night like them to be, how shall we serve? So, since this comes within the realm of the Body itself, it does not violate the Sabbath Rest of the LORD in the Way. If it comes outside of the Body, for the present it would have to wait.
Let us be very careful that we have a clear realization of the exactness of the intercessory function necessary. We are working in a field where exactness is so very important, because a little slip one way or another, and it is too bad. Instructions are given that we are to let go of everything—the whole Body must be centered in the LORD of Lords in a receptive attitude toward the Truth in accordance with the present moment of outworking of the Cosmic Plan—the Body itself intercedes before the LORD. You have not been given very much training or instruction as to exactly how that should be done, because you have not been in a place where such work could be properly done.
I might point out that, as yet, I am still a Unified Member in this Body, not that I shall be separated from you, but that change in the polarity of the Triangle has not taken place [A Shifting Of The Triangle Must Now Take Place: greatcosmicstory.blogspot.com/2015/03/a-from-principles-cycles-uranda-july-27.html] so what I am doing by bringing this before you, as Members of my Body, is actually that intercessory work before the LORD of Lords. I have pointed out to you that I am no longer just out here as your Teacher or Leader to do these things alone. You remember that I pointed that out to you, that whatever is done we have to do as a Body, now that the Body has come into manifestation.
Remember that Love Response to the LORD is the prime requisite, and the primary way of service is in Letting Love Radiate, and to whatever degree response is present, that individual is uplifted. We cannot force response, but we can Let Love Radiate.
You will recognize that the Lord of Truth has ever pointed to the work of the Lord of Love; but you will recognize that when the Lord of Love was on earth He emphasized over and over again that it was the work of the Lord of Truth to set men free. As you have let yourselves be set free to this degree, in this vibration of service, you see more clearly how that work is carried on as you let yourselves be anchored in Love Response to the Lord of Love. As you abide in that, it places us in a position, on a vibration, in a current, which permits the work of the Lord of Truth to be carried forth effectively—but the work of the Lord of Truth can accomplish little, no matter how brilliant or perfect the expression of Truth may be, until or unless the earnest one abides in his place through Love Response to the Lord of Love. That is the way it works, and you see it more clearly than ever before, do you not?
If you recognize what that means, you abide absolutely in Love Response to the LORD all of the time, so that He may do the works, and you realize that there is no consideration that we are, in a human sense, going to go out and do something—but rather, that any suggestion that may be offered is going to be a means by which, to the highest degree of understanding, we shall let the Father do the works in all things. There must be no personal reactions, no little hints of judging.
Divine Justice in operation, tempered with mercy and love—on that basis we find that there is never any need to fear the judgments of God. Is it not so? And we remember that all things are caused to work together in perfection for those who love and serve Him. All things. That which immediately appears may not be the exact form, or may not be perfect at the instant of its appearance, but were you perfect in form and function in your placement in the Body when you first came? No. It is not expected. But I am pointing out the basis on which all things must always be considered, because as we work in oneness and let the Father do the works, do we have any faith in Him? Is it going to be the Father’s doing? Certainly it is. Recognizing these things, and realizing the responsibility that rests upon us with respect to letting the Father's Will be done, not just with respect to a Member of the Body, but with respect to the whole ailing world, how vitally important it is that we work together in Love, remembering that commandment, “By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one toward another,” for that permits harmonious consideration of any question. It precludes personal reaction that would spoil the beauty, the perfection, the impartiality, of the judgments of God that are tempered with mercy and love.
I am the Head of this One Christ Body. Maybe it would be a good thing if we always remembered that, in My Place, if I do not know what is in your hearts, I am a mighty poor Head to this Body; and if I know what is in your hearts, and if my handling matters is on the basis of what is in the heart, and not on the basis of some limited circumstance that might appear on the surface, let your own action be just a shade cautious, because it is written, “God looketh on the heart.”
Remember always, while I am the Head of this Body, you are the Body with me. If this thing is to be done for the world, we do it together, or not at all. My whole Ministry, my whole hope of bringing this thing to the world, my whole hope of accomplishment and victory, I have placed upon the altar, in the conviction that this One Christ Body would at all times work that Divine Justice tempered with mercy and love might manifest, and that there should be no reactions, that we should come to that place in absolute polarity where there should not be anything that would move us—whether it be with respect to reactions one toward another in the Body, or with respect to the things of the world—because if there be a movement one towards another of reaction, it is division, and if there be that which can move us in the Body in such a way, then there is certainly that in the world which can move us out of our places, and it is only in oneness together, in oneness with the LORD, that this thing can be fulfilled to His Glory and to the blessing of the children of men.
You are not yet perfect in Christ. I have not suggested that. But never must we let personal feeling have anything to do with what we do in the One Body. There must be no personal reaction. We must remember that if we are centered in Love Response to our KING, whom we have all acknowledged—then His Love through us must, of necessity, cast out all fear, for fear is faith in something destructive, faith in something of the world, something which we must overcome. So we let perfect love cast out all fear. We let Love Response to the Lord of Love be so very strong all of the time that the Lord of Truth may set you free, [Michael And His Angels: greatcosmicstory.blogspot.com/2022/09/michael-and-his-angels.html] that the fulness of the Christ Expression may manifest in you, and then perform the essential work for the world. “For ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall set ye free.”
If we were depending upon the Fire of Divine Love to set us free, and that Fire were to be operating, virtually no one in the world would survive the cleansing Flame, because that Fire turned loose on such a basis would destroy all evil immediately, and that would mean the destruction of just about all human beings. Look back a few years if you doubt it.
You know that your unified Love Response to the LORD of Lords holds you on an anchorage on the Rock that cannot be moved as long as that Love Response is there. That provides us with the absolute unmovable foundation. But then, beyond that, the uses of the Current of Love are in the hands of the Lord of Truth, and only as human beings let the Lord of Truth shape them, remake them, so that the Truth can set them free, and then that Current of Love can be released through Channels of Truth, can individuals receive of that cleansing current of Divine Love in the intensified outflowing—and not be destroyed thereby.
The Lord of Love focalizes the expression of the Lord of Love, and the Lord of Truth in the world interceded for the world, whether the world has ever recognized it or not—and I am not asking that it should—but the One Great Intercessor, as far as this world is concerned, is the Lord of Truth, and I say that with respect for the Lord of Love. If it were not for the Lord of Truth, humanity would be wiped out, and if you think that even you could withstand that Flaming Fire today, not yet having come into the fulness of the Christ Expression, let your minds be dispelled of such an idea, for you could not yet withstand that Flame and live. Therefore, remember always, it makes no difference what, when or where, if this manifestation of the Christ Body on earth is to mean anything and carry through to Victory, it must never, under any circumstance, undertake to resist with respect to anything done in that outworking, in a true sense, by the Lord of Truth, because He is the Great Intercessor Himself.
You will have a proper sphere of function in influence conveyed to you, but if it should ever come into resistance with the Intercessor who has come through these many thousands of years with the LORD of Lords, [greatcosmicstory.blogspot.com/2023/03/gods-great-plan-1.html] and has held the Current through all these thousands of years, that humanity might have an opportunity to come back now, and not be wiped out—then do not put yourself in position where the Lord of Truth might have to cease being the Intercessor for you, because if you ever do resist him in any real sense, refusing to recognize his influence, and acting as if you had to resist him, then he would cease to intercede, and let the Law take its course—and you need not be told what that would mean for anyone focalized in the Flame. Let that always be remembered. I speak unto you, not just as the Head of this Body.
And now, as you realize the way of working—so simple, yet so true, so absolute—on the basis of the One Christ Body, and you have recognized that care and consideration by which you have been brought along the Way, there should never, under any circumstance, be any necessity of your feeling that the Lord of Truth might somehow cease interceding, so that you may have to resist any specific outworking that is necessary. I do not care who falls, who comes or goes, these things stand eternally, and since these things are true, you should know, if you do not already know, that the time limit in which the Lord of Truth may intercede for the world draws to a close—it draws to a close, even as it is written: “My spirit shall not always strive with man.” [greatcosmicstory.blogspot.com/2023/03/gods-great-plan-2.html]
Therefore, let your Love Response to the Lord of Love be always so unwavering, so absolute, so complete, that there is no way in which fear of any kind can creep in. You know that you can come to me with anything. It has been proven over and over again that I will always be considerate of your viewpoint, of that which you wish to present, your difficulties. If it may be so, I shall help you in that. But Blessed Ones, do not ever, in anything, put yourselves in a position of contest with me. Do not start trying to resist me. I am not a dictator. You know that, and if you do not, I don't know what can make you know it, for you have had consideration at my hands. But if you undertake to resist me, to force anything in any direction, you should know that there is no question as to who is going to lose—and I don't like to be forced into contest with anyone. I avoid that contest, but you know also that I do not ever run away from it.
So let us work with one accord. With one accord you can present any viewpoint, you can bring forth any realization, you can come to me with any problem, any time that it is possible for me to consider it. I do not think that any of you have ever been turned away. But do not take open issue with me, and resist me. There was just a tiny hint of that today. It has cleared away, but there was just enough so that I was under the necessity of calling your attention to these things, that you may ever be mindful of them. And surely the focalization of the Spirit of Love and the Spirit of Truth in you causes you to know as to the truth of my words in all of these things.
You know how I love you all. You must know now, at least, that I am interceding to the LORD of Lords for you—and not for you only, but for all who will receive. Thus far in my manifestation in the One Christ Body, you are those who have been gathered out of the world through my years of Ministry, to share in causing the Victory of the LORD of Lords to have meaning, because unless that Victory comes in the world as a whole, His Victory shall have been in vain. God forbid. God forbid.
Let us have our period of devotion: O LORD of Lords and KING of Kings, we thank Thee for the holy privilege we have of gathering together into One Unit, that being fused in the Fire of Thy Love, and formed according to the Pattern of Truth, we may let Thy Will be done on earth as it is in Heaven, now and forevermore. And, O Lord of Love, I bring these Blessed Ones, all who are with us in Spirit and all who respond on the vibration so established, before Thee, that their Love Response may ascend unto Thee as sweet incense, and that the power of Thy Love may flow forth through them, accomplishing that which is needful according to their attunement in the Pattern of Truth. Blessed Ones, let the Spirit direct in devotion. (Devotional Period and Song of Praise).
Let me further explain the point of intercession. Jesus Christ undertook to convey Christ Activity to those who followed Him, but they would not receive it in fulness; therefore, it has waited this day when the Christ might begin to manifest in the One Body, that the Christ Body might be the Intercessor before the LORD of Lords, so that the Spirit of Truth might set men free rather than being required at all times to be the Intercessor.
Let me now, on this vibration, undertake to focalize clearly a Great Truth. In my function as Intercessor, you have never found me attempting to intercede for that which does not respond. I have never violated the privilege of being the Intercessor; and, in interceding, I have never set myself, in any way whatsoever, in opposition against our KING. As I have functioned as Intercessor, you have found that it was only when your response became such, through Love, that I no longer needed to intercede for you, that the Truth could then set you free.
You see then, the great necessity that the One Christ Body on earth should truly be the Intercessor that, as rapidly as any shall respond, the Lord of Truth shall, by the Truth, set them free—for it is not in intercession that the Lord of Truth would serve, but rather, in the work of setting men free, that they should no longer be standing in need of intercession.
The Lord of Truth came into the world, provided the negative focalization of polarity for the LORD of the Sacred Seven; and, in that position, focalized true Love Response to the LORD of the Sacred Seven in the earth, that the creative cycles might begin; and, at the same time, he was under the necessity of acting as Intercessor for all who might come within the range of that Creative Current; and the work of intercession for each one had to continue until that one became so polarized in Love Response to the LORD of Lords that the work of the Lord of Truth might begin—for only when the response to the LORD of Lords was individually polarized could the true work of the Spirit of Truth begin to manifest with respect to that individual, that the individual might then be set free to enjoy the glorious liberty of the children of God. As you consider this process, you see that the One Christ Body has two primary purposes:
First, to hold the negative aspect of Love Response to the Lord of Love so absolute, so unwavering, so centered, that the Current may continually and eternally flow; and Second, to so intercede for those coming within the range of that Current that the Lord of Truth may, according to the means at his command, work to transform and change, and set free those who shall let themselves share in that polarity of Love Response to our KING. In this brief outline you see the primary work of the One Christ Body—the necessities, the requirements, which rest upon it, that it may let the Lord of Truth accomplish his Mission in the earth, that men may be set free as they shall let it be so. But it is recognized that the Lord of Truth dare not relinquish his position as Intercessor until polarities are proven real, true and lasting, and until he is assured that the intercessory work shall continue unabated while he accomplishes that which is his work; for, if the work of intercession should cease, his work with respect to lifting up the children of men who might respond, and let them be shaped by the Truth to be set free, would come to an end, and all those who had been so drawn would be lost to the Glorious Victory of the Kingdom. And I pray that not one will let it be so.
Nevertheless, when the One Christ Body shall have entered into this work of intercession, it shall see the Lord of Truth working with the Sword of Truth, without respect to persons, that all who respond not shall be cut off that they may fall away, and that all who respond may be uplifted and set free. If any should undertake to resist the work of the Sword of Truth in the earth, as they see individuals or companies or nations resist under that Sword, then those who resist, instead of interceding, would likewise fall under the Sword and under the Fire. I pray that the work of intercession shall never be hindered, and that the work of the Sword of Truth may accomplish that which is necessary. Resistance — Natural And Unnatural

“And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion … So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.” The Lord and His angels incarnate in human form now say, “Let us make man.” The situation is different now than what it was before because it is a matter of re-creation; it is no longer a matter of starting from scratch, so to speak. The creation is already here. But human beings collectively are not man, so there needs to be re-creation. In one sense the situation is more difficult than it was before, because human consciousness is here in its present state, and capable and seemingly determined to resist the re-creation. Initially there was no resistance in the sense of opposition.
The creative process engenders creative resistance otherwise there would be no creation, but not the sort of resistance that is now a fact on earth by reason of the state of human consciousness. The true resistance is quite willing to let something happen, and provides what is necessary so that the form may appear. Human resistance is not at all willing to let the creation take place under the hand of the Lord and will do everything possible to frustrate it. However, the Lord, and the angels of the Lord putting in an appearance on earth, must obviously work with and in and through the state of consciousness that is present, even though there is unnatural resistance.
This resistance, both the natural kind and the unnatural kind, have been present in our association over the last three weeks of this Assembly. Now, this is a fact of human existence with which I have been faced, and all those who have assumed particular responsibility in a point of focus have also faced. I certainly do not object at all to the natural resistance, because this is needful in the creative process. We could not move our physical bodies at all if it was not for the fact that there were resistant elements present—muscles opposing muscles—but they learn to function in coordination, which is what permits the creative process to occur. When we have a cramp and the muscles become rigid it is not only very painful but you can’t move, nothing can happen. That is an illustration of unnatural resistance.
Unless we have this yielded and natural movement together we really don’t have anything. So a particular setting is provided, we all put in personal appearance, and we all are within range of each other so that something may be allowed to move, something which thus far has not moved. There is something specific that up to the point of this session putting in an appearance hadn’t yet moved, and so the Assembly was provided to let that something move. That is what we’re all here present for, really. We have something to say—Lillian has something to say, Grace has something to say, and various other ones who offer themselves in this Assembly setting have something to say, in order that something might move easily between us.
Some of you, I know, have been aware of a certain stickiness—a molasses condition in January, more or less—and it is not because there is not a great desire to let something happen. The only way that anything happens is to the extent that there is a letting go, a yielding to what the pulsations actually are that are moving. Only when there is lightness and ease does anything happen. So, while we may consider some matters of state that appear from the human standpoint to be serious matters, and at times more delicate matters that we’re a little concerned about for other reasons, nonetheless this spirit of lightness and openness and yieldedness is something that needs to prevail consistently. We have heard something about consistency before, and the vital importance of it.
So we have the opportunity of association now to be taken advantage of because we have very a close-in opportunity here by reason of being present all of us together in person. It seems that this is necessary to allow something to happen in spirit. All too many have assumed that close personal contact ensures close spiritual contact. This is not necessarily the case at all; in fact, on many occasions I’ve noted that it mitigates against it. But we do have this personal association. We do need to develop something between us, certainly, but because we are providing something together. It’s not an inward-looking thing; it’s actually an outward-looking thing. In handling our spiritual responsibilities as an Assembly we can be aware of the field of our ministry in the world, not as a sort of vague lump of human consciousness, coming to point of course in individual people, but we may see it from the standpoint of those individual people, so that what is offered is offered so that there may be a movement upward, insofar as those people are concerned, to receive what is necessary at our hand. That will open a door for people everywhere to begin to emerge out of their human nature state.
Here is a breaking up of structures in human consciousness, and we welcome that. But as is usual with human nature, it tends to swing to extremes. And we see there are people who are being compelled in one way or another to take certain stances, which are all included in the creative changes that are occurring in the consciousness of mankind. We’re not going to go around picking and choosing the stances that we think we can accept and the ones that we think we must reject. All these things are going on in the consciousness of people, and we’re concerned with the people. And then they take this attitude or that attitude, but you know that such things can change. We’re simply there to provide the point of orientation, and there are those who respond to it, and the results of that response appear in form in various ways.
We’re not so much concerned with the form. The form is revealing of the fact that there are some changes occurring in the states of consciousness of people. Those changes will be altogether destructive if there is no point of orientation for the operation, and so we see our responsibility in this regard together, that by reason of this Assembly and all that is represented here, we have a hand on everything that is happening and our inheritance keeps being brought to us. This morning various things were brought before us which may allow us to pour the water of truth in the creative cycle into our field of responsibility, because we ourselves have a balanced understanding of what it is that’s happening and we’re not thrown by reason of the fact somebody somewhere goes off half-cocked. There are a lot of people doing that, and a lot more are going to do it, but here is the evidence of something breaking up. We hold the centering point steady.
We’re able to do this to the extent that we are with one accord in one place now. If we are together in the present moment and moving in the current of the spirit, in the creative cycle as it is in focus now, then we participate in a very strong compulsion relative to the consciousness of mankind as a whole. Our best opportunity for this is in this particular hour—we’re “on live.” It is something that is happening in the moment. Now the difficulty has been that there hasn’t been all that much ability yet to function in the current of the spirit live, in the moment, and there is attunement with a certain amount of lag. [greatcosmicstory.blogspot.com/2022/04/flow-of-spiritflow-in-formunprecedented.html] I suppose it could be said that because of this seeming lag, that people get more accustomed to attunement with the lag state than with the live state. But if you’re going to move live something is required of you now, now, now, now.
One could always be grateful for those who were there at the live point, but it has never occurred yet that there were those present at the live point who were actually with one accord in one place, and who actually would move as freely in that situation, which was something totally new. So there is a distinction between the experience of something live and the experience of something secondhand, but there is vastly more needful to be known at the time of the live experience than has yet occurred. Even from the standpoint of your past experience when it has been live, and from your present experience while it is live now, something is opening up fresh and there needs to be movement together in this for it to be effective. I’m not opening it up for you, properly speaking, although there has been the tendency to have this attitude on your part very often. It is simply being opened up with you. It’s being opened up together, so that there is the need for very flexible substance if this is to happen. And the finer the substance is the more easily it moves. If we get stuck down in the coarse substance here, it’s a plodding experience. And there have been occasions when it has been rather a plodding experience even in these hours that we have shared together. It is loosening up a little I’m thankful to say. But let it be a live experience. It’s live for me; I move around a little, flap my wings; but you too, so that you don’t sink into somnolence. The spirit is moving, it’s operational, life is here, and there is obviously something then to be shared when we are open and willing and develop the ability to do so. But we develop that ability during the time when we have the opportunity of doing something.
There is some consideration of the matter of hearing and doing. Usually the human view of things is that one hears now and does later—that’s the usual approach to almost anything in the world. You buy it now and pay later. But it all needs to be together, cash on the barrel head. We can’t operate our ministry on credit in this sense; there has to be the substance right there, not an imagery substance. And so we have been concerned to generate the substance so the substance might be right there. And when it is right there, the spirit is right there, and we know it, we have the experience. The tape is in here [taps his head]. If there’s nothing been recorded in here nothing has happened. And when there is a happening of this nature then there is a capability of participating consistently even though we may not be together in person.
Clearly enough, we can’t all be together in person all the time; but we’re all together in fact in spirit, and this fact is known when there is unified substance to accommodate that spirit. There’s been a lot of talk about being together in spirit which has been just so much talk; it wasn’t the fact at all, because it wasn’t possible of experience. The substance which would allow it to be known wasn’t there. But as the substance is there accommodating spirit, then we are together in spirit. It’s the spirit that unifies, but we must have the substance, otherwise it’s unknown. So we have shared in a certain generation of this substance to the extent that we were alive, to the extent that we were moving together, to the extent that it was a delight, because the actual experience of the reality is a joy.
The Master himself emphasized that point. He offered to share His joy. Well the picture of him as a rule, I think, is of a very solemn person, a very troubled person, wandering around, which of course is a portrayal that has been based in an unbalanced view of him. The fact that it is unbalanced has been emphasized recently, and Grace has mentioned this, by reason of the Gnostic Gospels, which paint a totally different picture of him. I don’t suppose that is balanced either; it takes it all put together. And it isn’t a picture rightly anyway. We need to be acquainted with the reality because we are associated with the spirit which was present in form those centuries ago, but the spirit which is still present; it hasn’t gone anywhere—and with which we become acquainted when there is substance available to let it happen. Then we find something very different in our experience as to the reality of the Master.
We collectively represent him, rightly, and it is on this basis that a balance may appear. But there is a fundamental quality to His spirit which we call love. There is love, and there is the truth of that relative to all levels of our experience, all levels of our being, all levels of our expression. That truth becomes known to us because we actually allow the expression of it. It’s unknown to us if we are merely looking at an image that may inspire us in some fashion to allow something to be known, but the fact that it inspires us is not what is known when we know it. The reality is known in our own expression.
So we share these times together in order that there may be a sensing of unification, that we belong together, and that we have a consciousness of the quality of spirit which we share. It is of a particular nature, and while we all have the opportunity of differentiating it in unique ways, it never changes the spirit which is being differentiated. The differentiation is still part of that same spirit, and it will not be contradictory. So we are letting this happen, to whatever degree. And we are now concluding our third week together; we have one to go, something more to emerge and to be experienced because we share it.
Now this consideration of the female aspect of true being, more particularly this morning when Lillian spoke, and she emphasized the fact that this is no less an aspect of God than the male. In fact Grace has mentioned that in the Gnostic Gospels there is indication that originally it wasn’t only the Father of which mention was made but the Mother too—Father and Mother both, Father and Mother God. Well the way it was distilled into the gospels we have, it came out entirely Father, presumably because the Master himself was male. But that didn’t exclude the female, except in the consciousness of those who developed what is called Christianity. There is a balance here, a proper balance. The concern should be for the female to find out what it means to be a female, and the male to find out what it means to be a male. There is a proper distinction here, a distinction absolutely essential to any truly creative process.

The Law Of Resistance
Uranda July 14, 1937
The earnest one who has chosen to let the will of the LORD be accomplished in and through him by the creative power of the Fire of Love, and has proven to be steadfast and unwavering in the Mystical School of Life, having true faith in the firm foundation of reality, is brought to the point of being, where he may begin to comprehend the wondrous workings of the Law of Resistance as it functions in the Negative Triune World wherein he is manifest.
Such an one knows that in the silence of the outer self the Divine Sounds of the Inner Self begin to sound in the outer. He who ceases speaking the words of carnal mind and lets go in love to his Lord is he who begins to speak the Word of his Lord. He who ceases all self‑activity, in a true response to his Lord, is he in whom the Divine Activity of his Lord begins to appear, and such an one joyously finds that he has more to do than ever before and he rejoices in the realization that every thought, word and deed released through him is sent forth in the creative fires, accomplishing that whereunto they are sent, to the Glory of God.
It is not enough to cease self‑activity, for the responding one lets God‑Activity have free function through himself, that insofar as he is concerned it may truly be said, “The will of our Father is now done in earth as it is in heaven.” For all such there is great rejoicing among the Eternal Ones of the Inner Planes, for these are they who are the windows of heaven, through whom the union of heaven and earth is accomplished. No longer does the blessed one try to get away from the earth and all the natural things therein, but rather does he rejoice that through himself the earth may be lifted up in that Glorious Ascension that blends heaven and earth as one, for that is the New Heaven and the New Earth.
With this vision of the Way of the LORD in the earth, the blessed one may let his attention rest upon the Law of Resistance, that he may relax into a realization of the truths thereof and rejoice in the greater privilege of full harmonization therewith. God‑Activity is the Christ Radiance of Light, Love and Life that issues forth through every expression of the LORD, whether that Lord be incarnated in a human body or not. The Law of such Divine Expression is Love, which is the Creative Fire that brought all things into manifestation; and so it is that the Law of Love becomes the One Law for the responding one who allows God‑Activity to manifest through himself.
The Master, Jesus, as the LORD of Lords, is the central, Supreme Being of the Christ expression in this world, and He spoke the word: “Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged.” This is the key to the Law of Resistance. Many there are who have thought to understand His words of instruction, “Judge not,” and so it is that they have followed after their own fancies, judging that “judge not” meant to part with one’s natural powers of perception to a degree that engendered self-delusion. The divinely keen powers of perception which enable one to face the facts, both of the inner reality and of the outer manifestation, are to be rejoiced in. Such perception allows one to have an understanding of all the influences and vibrations that are at work in any given situation or condition, so that the facts are known; but such clear analysis does not mean that the person or persons involved are judged. It may be noted of a certain person that he has light brown hair and blue eyes, without saying that his hair should be darker, or that his eyes should be grey. Noting the facts as manifest is not judging, for judging does not begin until that which is noted is accounted to be either good or evil.
In the Mystical School of Life the blessed one must prove that he can face the facts of manifestation, both in himself and in others, without fear or judging. Such an one is content to let all things prove themselves, whether they be of the real or the unreal, for he knows that whatever judgment is judged by any person determines the judgment wherein that person is judged; for each one judges himself. Much has been expressed concerning the judgments of God, but God does not judge any; He only allows the judgments judged by each to return upon the judging one, that each may prove himself. So it is that no one has any need to judge another; but this does not deny the fact that all should face the facts of being, both manifest and unmanifest, with clear perception. This becomes clear to the degree to which the Law of Resistance is understood.
In the Positive Planes of Being the creative functions are eternally active, and each earnest one is aware thereof to the degree to which he is one with his Lord within. In the negative planes which form the outer Triune World, or what is spoken of as creation, there are as many varying degrees of resistance as there are different creations. While resistance is necessary, the fact of resistance alone would be meaningless. The laws of electricity as known by man give abundant proof of these things. A wire of small resistance cannot carry a great current of electricity, but a wire of great resistance is of no value without its rightful current.
In every person on earth there is a degree of resistance, else life could not manifest; but the fact of resistance is valueless so long as it is alone. Many have thought that all resistance must be removed before a spiritual life could be lived, but to remove resistance would be to make the form into a spineless, meaningless mass. Response does not require the removal of resistance. Response means that whatever degree of resistance is present in the individual is allowed contact with the Lord, that the corresponding degree of Positive Radiance may be released therein, thus making the person to be alive in reality. All who do not allow their resistance to be controlled by the Will of the Lord, but seek rather to do their own will, are dead already, in that they are not alive in the Lord. There is a great difference between a “dead wire” and a “live wire,” though both are wires and both may be suitable for purposes of conducting currents of electricity.
The purposes of the Emissaries of Divine Light include that of “resurrecting the dead,” in the sense of bringing those human beings who are dead to reality into contact with their Lords, that they may be charged with the Christ Radiance and become eternally alive. It is God’s Will that all should have Eternal Life now. He who lets his Father’s Will be done in him now is now received into Eternal Life. No one can do the Will of God and be subject to death, for the Will of God is Life Eternal. Only that which refuses to let God’s Will be done is capable of death. Eternal Life is the natural state. Rejoice that it is so!
Step by step the Law of Resistance is being unveiled for you by these words. The resistance in any person is in direct ratio to his ability to live. When the resistance is high, and self‑controlled by the human being, the attainment in the chosen sphere of outer world function is high according to worldly standards, while the self‑active ones who have little resistance form the masses who are molded by the selfish will of the comparative few who have a high degree of self-controlled resistance. Nevertheless, the end of both the high and the low in self‑active resistance is the same, for both are subject to death, and their lives pass away as the shadow before the sunrise. These are they who defend their self‑will and cling to death, refusing to let the LORD’s will be done in them; and so it is that the dead bury their dead, not knowing that those who are not alive in the LORD are dead already. All such who respond not to their Lords within them are received into the earth and into the grave, wherein there is no knowledge or memory, for they are as if they had not been, and neither shall they be anymore; for if the dead be not resurrected while they are yet alive in the eyes of the world, they shall not be resurrected at all at any time, and their substance shall be given to another at an appointed time. So it is that the substance of all shall ascend in due season; for the “second resurrection” is that of the substance and not of the person, and it is only required for that which has been received of the “second death.” All human beings born upon the earth are at first subject to the first death, for they are dead already so long as they can die, and while they are yet alive in the eyes of the world they may receive the resurrection into Eternal Life. But the death of the world is the second death, and for all who die therein is the second resurrection prepared, that their substance may be lifted up by another at a time when it shall respond to the Lord.
When the resistance that is in any person is given fully and freely by him to his Lord, his outer manifestation of being becomes charged with his Lord’s presence, and to the degree of resistance is the power of the Lord released in accordance with the manifest need. He who thus gives his own free will to his Lord, that his every expression from that day onward may be of his Lord, is he who truly responds in the Fire of Love, thereby allowing himself to be drawn into contact with his Lord, by whom he is charged with Light, Love and Life to the degree of his individual resistance. The Law of Resistance relates to the resistance to life that is present in the individual. So long as the resistance to life is kept away from the Lord through the self‑active will of the individual, the result sooner or later must be death. When the resistance to life is subject to Eternal Being through a responsive love contact with the Lord, so that the Lord’s Will is done in the individual, the degree of resistance to life determines the individual’s ability to participate in Eternal Life.
The blessed one is he who has been drawn into contact with his Lord through a response in the Christ Love, so that his resistance to life has become charged with Eternal Life which is allowed to manifest as perfection through his body and mind. The unresponsive one is he whose self‑active direction of his own resistance to life has proven him to be dead, in that he is subject to death, and his ill state is manifest in his body and mind as ailments and limitations. Between these two planes of manifestation are the hosts of responding ones in whom perfection is being made manifest as rapidly as the world release is accomplished, and these are they who are the contact points between the real and the unreal, in whom the wondrous works of the Lord are made known and through whom the Glory of the Lord is established in the earth as an ever‑expanding radiance of the victory of the Lord our God, even the LORD of Lords. So it is that the responding ones are accounted as blessed ones in a vision of fully released reality.
A realization of the Law of Resistance allows the responding one to abide in absolute tranquility at all times, for he knows that the directionalization of any individual resistance to life will determine whether or not that person proves to be of the real or the unreal. The blessed one radiates the Christ Love to all alike, but he knows that all do not receive alike, and so he knows that his love radiance will be established to each one in accordance with the response thereto. The blessed one faces the facts of manifestation as they appear in each one, all the while beholding a clear vision of reality in one and all, so that he may be conducted of his Lord into the specific expression that is required in meeting the conditions made manifest in and through all with whom he is associated. To such an one there are but two states among those of whom he is aware: namely, the state of those whose resistance is charged with life, and so is alive, and the state of those whose resistance is uncharged, and so is dead. The blessed one sees the functions of life expression as an active agent which separates these two states, as the sheep from the goats, the wheat from the chaff, and the gold from the dross.
When the responding one has allowed himself to be so drawn into oneness with his Lord that his Lord’s Will begins to be done in and through him, he finds that there are various manifestations of resistance toward his expression of God‑Activity. The Great Master plainly warned His disciples that they would meet such resistance, and His Word is recorded in Matthew 5:10‑12; and 10:32‑42, with special reference to verses 34‑37. The Master Jesus knew that the great tests of life would come when the responding one’s friends and relatives should begin to resist his Divine expression, and our Master pointed out that those who wavered at such times of stress were not to be counted among the blessed ones.
To illustrate the action of the Law of Resistance, let your attention rest upon certain situations that have come within the range of your own awareness. The responding one is so certain of his position, and so firmly grounded on the Rock of Reality, that he functions serenely in the doing of his Father’s Will, no matter what the resistance may be. Of himself he never makes a choice that affects another, for he continues on, waiting the time of outer proof, when those with whom he is associated make the choice, and then he acts accordingly.
The blessed one never judges another, nor chooses for another, but he lets each one judge himself and make his own choice. So it is that the blessed one always accepts the self‑judgment and choice of those around him; which is to say, as each one proves himself and judges himself and chooses for himself, the blessed one accepts each one on the basis each one establishes for himself. Nevertheless the blessed one never accepts the judgment and choice of another for himself.
As an example, let us consider that the responding mate may not seek separation from his or her unresponsive mate, yet when the unresponsive mate chooses separation the responding mate may and should accept that separation, that he may be free in the Lord. Nevertheless, so long as the unresponsive mate does not choose separation, the responding mate so lives in the Christ Radiance that the mate may find it easy to respond to the Lord at any time should that be the choice of the one who had not before responded. Whatever the choice of the unresponsive one may be, let that be the choice; for as surely as the responding one lives the Christ Life, remaining true to reality, the unresponsive one must sooner or later make a choice, as the Lord forces the issue through the Law of Resistance. And whatever the unresponsive one may choose, whether it be to separate or to respond, let that choice stand, and let not the responding one waver therefrom.
When there is an issue concerning matters between individuals, whether they be relatives or not, so that there is a mutual responsibility, let the responding one function in the Radiance of Love in accordance with reality, knowing that in due season the Law of Resistance will force a choice from the unresponsive one if the responding one wavers not. And when that choice is once made, let it be established, and let the responding one act under the direction of the spirit in accordance with the choice of the unresponsive one. So it is that the earnest one may know of a surety that so long as he is true to himself, responding to his Lord in love, the Law of Resistance will bring a release in due season from any ill condition or limitation, if he wavers not.
So it is that all things will work out in perfection for all who love the Lord, and the responding one finds that he never needs to resort to any ill act or expression in order to seek freedom, for he knows that an unwavering life expression in the Christ Light, Love and Life will bring needed changes at the appointed times. And when those changes come, the responsive one accepts them instantly and acts accordingly, under the direction of the spirit in the firmness of the Law of Love.
The blessed one never seeks to hurry matters, for he knows that he is living in eternity, and he knows that the unreal must surely fall of its own weight, thereby giving him release as surely as day follows night, if he but stands firmly upon the Rock of Reality. So it is that the Law of Resistance divides the gold from the dross, and thereby is the unreal caused to fall and the real is lifted up, for the full function of the Law of Resistance requires that the responding one shall never attempt to fight, but stand firmly on the Rock.
